I could say that it was a brilliant idea for crypto.com to sponsor FIFA,  because its the most watched and very popular participation sports in the world aside of basketball and any sports such tennis, baseball and etc. Wherein surely they will become successful in it afterwards. I've seen them sponsor Formula One racing to raise awareness about the exchange, and one of the drivers purposefully wrecked his F1 vehicle into the crypto.com banner to catch everyone's attention, which it did because all of the cameras were focused on that banner. It is a good thing that crypto-related things are carried along in sport, I want to see Bitcoin displayed on TV screens the way they boldly shrink football and showed liquor ads and Visa.

Cryptocurrency related projects are already known and people are very much aware of it and that is why you see that different countries trying to legalize bitcoin use and make a legal status for cryptocurrency. The countries also creating digital currency is to confirm they already aware of it but working to retain their currency by giving a digital option, copy or choice to the public.

Binance have the capital to sponsor any major tournament and yet they are not doing those things and i am not sure about their advertising revenue. Sponsoring the FIFA World Cup is a huge deal and there are many countries that love the game and it is a truly global sport and it will put more reach to crypto.com than sponsoring anything else.

Wow. I didn't realize that at all. That would be fantastic and i think possible. What would be something completely new, if on the jerseys of the countries advertising may be placed. Currently it is only the main sponsor: Nike, Puma, Adidas and a few more. But something new can always happen. If there is a lot of money in Katar, then i see a chance.

What? Most of top exchanges already become sponsor/partnership with sports. Binance is sponsor of Argentina football association, Coinbase is sponsor of NBA, FTX is sponsor of Riot games and many more. Not to mention they also have donated to Ukraine. I don't think it will be a massive for crypto, they have started few years ago and we still not achieving the mass adoption.

The sponsorship value is almost 40 million usd. I personally wanted crypto.com to get the sponsorship because it would have given a great push to the crypto market. But unfortunately they couldn't do it.

Crypto.com has a token called Crypto.com coin, but now changed to cronos. I think this would help crypto adoption but also their token, if people join the exchange and buy the token, then its price will increase definitely. But the extent the increase may be depends on bull and bear market.

I dont think CRO prices would grow. The goal of crypto.com promotional program on FIFA is to get more clients and earn on fees, not to create demand on CRO and increase its price. As CRO is used to reduce fees, its price could get some %, but its value wont multiply. People would use crypto.com to buy Bitcoin (just because it is more known cryptocurrency), not CRO.

I have been ignoring crypto.com for years now,,, I always saw them as a scam after Monaco card failed (and they lost a lot of users too) before they went to rebrand to Crypto dot com but it seems as if now they have successfully moved past that era as nobody remember them for that anymore. I heard a lot of things about promotion and about changing of a stadium to Crypto.com and I now it will be a sponsor of one of the known league in the world and I am sure many people would see the name crypto and let us hope that they will get curious on what it is and be aware of the cryptocurrency.

Oh wow, I didn't know that it's so expensive just to rename an Arena. For 700 million you could get a lot celebrities to promote your exchange. Having a building named after your company is a nice publicity event too. All the fans going there, the commuters passing by and the fans watching from home will constantly see the name. Good for crypto.com, they are a very good exchange and deserve all the success. It's amazing to see crypto companies doing so well. The crypto boom made many investors rich, but also the companies that provide services for the investors. The more big crypto companies we have the better for the whole community. It gives some sort of security to new investors to trust in these names.

Do not have any doubt that Crypto.com will become one of the Exchanges that manages the most volume in the crypto world, it is something that will at least enjoy incredible traffic and I am sure that many people will trust the Exchange a lot, I think that this The move of being one of the sponsors of the FIFA World Cup is the most intelligent move of all, I think it was ahead of many other crypto companies that have been in the market for longer and that is why I know they will be very successful.

This is great news! But not something that shocking I suppose. With their actions all this time, it is pretty obvious that they have been eyeing the crypto industry for quite some time now and are just looking for better entries. Not that I'm hating crypto.com for it. With this though, we can see that mass adoption is increasing and the gamblers are loving it. More opportunities and more options. I have seen a lot of cryptocurrency advertisements all over the football tournaments this period and crypto.com FIFA sponsorship will help to publicize cryptocurrency for more global adoption.

This might not be talking about sponsorship but rather a good advertisement or exposure on Bitcoin or crypto as a whole.

You may have seen crypto before being advertised in the football field but I believe it was not big as this fifa. If the sponsorship have happened, this is going to be the first time that we are going to saw crypto being advertised on a prestigious event but sadly it didn't because the way they pick a sponsorship is through bidding and not by manually picking it depending on their taste so how can you say that they are eyeing the crypto industry?

Never been heard also that cryptocurrency was being involved in a big and prestigious event like this FIFA world cup and for me its a great chance that Crypto.com have had take because this sponsorship will bring cryptocurrency into another level of progress. spending that much money on popular sports events like UFC, Formula One, Italian league and lastly the world cup, really makes them the only exchange that does marketing with a big budget. looks like crypto.com's ambition to become the number 1 exchange through binance, is very big.

They have big competitor so this is kinda a must if they want to remain in the business. Binance is almost take over all of the people who use crypto so its good to see them competing and trying to became more relevant in crypto industry, but I believe that it will take a long time for them to acquire that 1 spot as binance is already solid exchange and maybe they will be the option of traders in terms of using them when they need to trade something.

When it comes to Volume and Liquidity then i dont have doubts or have questions that Binance would take the no.1 spot which is something understandable. Crypto.com is somewhat not really that popular for sure on this
forum or it is just me when it comes to exposure then we know that everyone knows about the difference.
If they do really have that kind budget when making out some sponsorship then it does signifies that there are indeed people who do make use of them.They might not really be just as popular
like Binance but they wont really be having that much of revenue if they arent been recognized.

If they are spending tens of millions of dollars every year on ads and sponsorship like this, then why are they not getting to at least top 5 if not at the top level? I use crypto.com since last year and i saw their advertisement that they always promote with the FIFA which is a good thing because the crypto industry right now recognizes with the large organizations and be part of it not only with the crypto.com I also see the betway in the NBA too so i guess this is the new innovation of the new marketing and adaptation into the crypto world.

If Crypto.com uses promotion through sponsorship contracts and interaction with sports in its strategy, it doesn't mean that everyone else should follow this trend. Someone arranges giveaways for their existing users, someone reduces commissions on the site, someone invests in blockchain development. All of these initiatives are good for the crypto community.

Other think about that those platform should follow crypto.com did, but honestly each platform have different tactics the way they promote their website and its good thing that they compete by doing multiple promotion and hit more bigger crowd because in the end of the day we as the crypto user will get the benefit if they accumulate new people which doesn't know about crypto.

You said that we are going to benefit once they attract newbies to join cryptocurrencies, that is the reason why they want others to follow what crypto.com is doing. Other platforms don't take the steps immediately but they first think if this move can benefit them or not and they will only waste money of doing this. They also want to be unique because they know that many platforms are already doing the same thing.

Well, their opinion is very valid, although I think that they have not yet started their full swing because the World Cup has not started, and I think because they do not have that traffic yet, but it is good to keep in mind that for now they are investing a lot of money in marketing, but this is something that will practically pay for itself later.

I think I am going to agree with what you said about the popularity of crypto.com because even me that I am not a newb anymore, I only found or heard the name crypto.com last time when I am using the brave browser because it was advertised on it. I don't know if I already seen crypto.com before when I browse sites using chrome but maybe they only showed up rarely there.

It was binance that what I always see and binance was also the exchange that everyone is talking about but we are so proud of what crypto.com is doing. I think they are doing this not only because they want to be more popular but also because they want to spread the word crypto to the whole world.

Crypto.com can be spotted on UFC fighters t-shirts and on octagon. Or, you are soccer fan, Los Angeles soccer club Angel City has Crypto logo on their t-shirts. Or, if you are Formula 1 fan, you might spot crypto.com banners on the track. Also, I think crypto.com has made partnership with Aston Martin racing team, but frankly, I havent noticed crypto logo on a bolide.

Crypto.com has been spending money on Hollywood as well, we have seen them work with Matt Damon as well, Lebron, Larry David and many others. I feel like it is such a great thing for us because the name is "crypto" .com and that tells us all we need to. If crypto.com really gave where it was, maybe right now the site is not very well-known, in fact I read an article where they are punishing their current token because they lowered their rewards, and it is obvious that an investor has their rewards lowered from staking get upset, I don't know what was the reason for the site to lower the rewards, but the token has dropped remarkably, I think they are doing a test to see how much it can go down in case of a crash, I don't know if it will be strategy or if they are doing it this way because they know that when the world championship begins they will see their token higher in price.

We do know that Crypto.com had failed on getting this sponsorship on FiFa which had been already been got with other company but somehow this company had been known on numerous sponsorship
