This is going to be insane,  ;D PUBG entering the nft metaverse world and bringing their millions of users along with it, some people keep saying nft is all about hype and will die soon, but everyday we keep seeing big names in the gaming industry entering the nft metaverse space to connect to blockchain and utilize its potential. Am particularly trilled about this news, am one of the million users of this game.

This is how the nft space will grow, when real gaming industries decided to take advantage of the nft space to build standard gaming experience for users. i believe these are the type of projects that will really make a difference in this space and can also make p2e worth it (if they will enable it).

Me too. Regularly playing this game even if this is not so popular like a few years ago but so many updates already happened. This is an amazing partnership. Crypto industry become even bigger from time to the another time.


This is amazing. I can imagine when i can buy my favorite clothes in pubg and i will become an NFT owner of it. I guess the weapon skin will become NFT as well. I just wanna see this to happen soon. That's enough with so many NFT that was not doing a proper development. We need HD game like this to be integrated with NFT

I wasn't expecting this and honestly, this is quite big to be considered. Still on the plans and as a gamer, I'm very happy to see such movements like this in the community.
They're considering every single thing in the crypto market these days, the bad image has changed and it's surely helping not only us but the market itself. I don't play this game but I have it on my steam account since it's already free.

Rest in peace to all those who called play2earn games crap  ;D this is what I've been waiting for all this while, bigger gaming companies need to see the potential of NFT and tokens for play2earn games to become a success and this happens.

Krafton must realize if they must make some innovations to bring back the players again. Crypto users have become potential place to grab some demands for their game again. So many games released and that makes the competition became even more difficult.


Im not sure about this but this quite different than play to earn. I meant PUBG is stating that if the company want to integrate its game with NFT and it doesn't mention if pubg will be adopting the play to earn mechanism.

I doubt if there will be a play to earn mechanism once pubg will be adopting NFT. We know that so well if NFT can relate with the in game item that can be traded between the player or something like that.

When I see comments like that I just know they are probably not up to date with what is happening in the metaverse ecosystem, how big gaming companies and non gaming companies are rapidly embracing nft, the trend is so popular that every time there is news about a big brand owning their nft or filing a trade mark for their nft, it is insane.

Seeing this PUBG news confirmed what is being said about the metaverse ecosystem, it is just getting started, this space will be very successful in the future.

there will be even more people playing this iconic game, solana labs is making progress with the involvement of partners, because millions of players are playing this game, if they bring it to the end, it will have a good effect on the development of the solana project, and in general for the NFT market.

I would guess that they would deal with something totally different. We are not going to see PUBG game having NFT type of stuff, all those skins and weapons and clothes and what not can't be turned to NFT that easily when the game has been out there for so many years already.

I am sure that they are bothered by the fact that they lost so many customers, they were once upon a time one of the most actively played game and they lost that to other games, even fortnight is probably not at the top right now. But at the end of the day people need to realize you can't just expect these places to add NFT right away. It will probably a new game with NFT in it.

i also heard that UBisoft or the big player for Triple A game like farcry also join and considering adopt NFT even tho so many hates at this point but i do believe slow but sure many big studio will join crypto industry and i hope that happening soon

this is very crazy, a game that is quite large and crowded is starting to jump into the Metaverse NFT, I'm sure there will be many who want to get skins for clothes, weapons, vehicles that they like (users) to make NFT

I think it's too early to talk about this. This field holds a lot of potential, but from a user perspective, I completely believe that many gamers still don't understand what NFT blockchain concepts are. This also doesn't show that, given the fact that previous player data will reach the new realm of blockchain, I see a lot of re-examination of this opinion. The future NFT field will be developed for the P2E metaverse niche, so it's only a matter of time before the leading companies in the gaming industry do with it.

It's crazy not to play when the PUBG game lovers play the game with millions of users who have fallen in love with the PUBG game and even now they don't hesitate to join the NFT metaverse game and I believe this really encourages the development of the Solana project in the future to be better known  many more people.
And the NFT market will also be more crowded and lively.

This collaboration will have a major impact on the NFT ecosystem and the mainstream gaming industry. imagine that this partnership will serve as a link for other major game developers to adopt NFT. there will be a lot of things to come after, one thing I'm sure NFT will be the main focus in the gaming and crypto community. but what worries me now is whether PUBG will stay the same after this partnership.

the question is whether with this collaboration they will develop a new game based on crypto? or integrate existing games (PUBG) with NFT services?

worth waiting for the continuation of this news. but it needs to be underlined about " meaning Krafton can still pull the plug on the partnership without legal repercussions " so they can cancel this collaboration when something bad happens.

The krafton partnership with solana could be major boost to the prices and more development of the ecosystem but the problem with the network is it often shutdown and this could hinder the smooth gameplay but will see how this deal would go on.The userbase for Solana and Pubg is huge at this time and they will take advantage of these NFT integration to next level making some big moves to capture the share of market.

Their users are huge, and that's a plus, but I don't know if it's easily popularized as the main product.

It is clearly stated on the quote above - "that could bring non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to its popular battle-royale game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG)". so if this partnership is honored and they went ahead with it, the nft that will be developed will be integrated into playerunknown battleground (pubg).
The partnership may be MOU which means Krafton can cancel at anytime but i feel this type of announcement will not be made to pull out later, am sure they will make it happen and work to develop the nft.

If PUBG fans understand about blockchain or NFT systems, of course this can grow rapidly all over the world. But unfortunately PUBG game players don't really understand blockchain technology, they are just game lovers. But to some extent it will affect the NFT blockchain system, like they buy items in the current game.

The power of the NFT space is not just for pictures and artist but for gaming companies who will start launching their dedicated in game collectables and then all the sports entities will start launching their exclusive NFT, especially companies like major Football leagues, Basketball leagues, UFC and even sports entertainment Wwe will be launching their NFT in the coming years.

It may be both. This is consider from the statement that already stated in the article above. The NFT could be implemented to the PUBG but you must also remember that this partnership is not having legal statement.. that means if any parties from both can't cancel this partnership.

so far i heard same news from one of metaverse project ,but they still keep it till all document signed . i am believe it will not stop here, maybe more game studio will do same thing with PUBG. they have alot benefit by joining in metaverse with reputable crypto project.

slowly they will learn and take benefits from NFT and blockchain, let time running and change everything in market.

Will weapon/parachute/car skins, character outfits, and others be NFT in the future? if yes it will be very fun to play PUBG. and hopefully this will be on the PC and mobile versions. I don't know if it will happen or not but I'm sure a lot of people think it will be NFT,
with this collaboration I think it will open up many opportunities in the future and maybe there will be more games that use blockchain,

Looks like Krafton is not implementing NFT for PUBG game because according to the information I heard Krafton partnered with Solana Lab they want to develop a new blockchain based game, correct me if I'm wrong, but if their plan is successfully developed then I think will make adopters of the project they developed will grow to be big because currently Krafton is one of the game studios that is already well-known among the public.

Yes, PUBG is one of the top downloaded games of all time and has the most users in the game world. iF the developers have joined crypto and NFT, the crypto game world will be even more famous, especially using the NFT blockchain game system. NFT and play to earn will rule the world.

I don't know how everyone feels, but I feel it's a bit exaggerated when we all know the blockchain trend is being studied and developed by many other industries, with the combined implementation to offer value-creating products. Sustainable treatment, I think, takes time. I agree that they have a significant advantage when they have a large user base, but that does not imply that the user understands blockchain technology, but it is still encouraging to see.the interest of the big players in this field.

Krafton is one of the biggest gaming company, if I am not wrong its in top 3 but still this is going to be the test level and probably theh will implement slowly if they got success in the beta level. But already Krafton is facing lot of regulation issues from multiple government and some of them entirely banned their games like Pubg so for now they won't start anything bigger which doesn't comply with the regulations.

big fat chance it was caused by the fact that this game is already fading in term of fame, honestly their mobile games has been stagnant but of course take it with grain of salt that’s just my 2 cents.
regardless it’s still a good thing that they actually figure out the real potential that could be given from simply implementing the technology of NFT that could make their game economy even more alive than just

I agree with the collaboration of a big game with a big cryptocurrency project it will add a new industry to develop with the combination of financial technology.
But I see that there is a mismatch here, as we know that Solana is a big blockchain network project that focuses on their network, if it partners with battle royal games like PUBG will they become a gaming network project like EOS first?
Another thing to consider is, NFT is indeed good for games and cryptocurrencies, but if in the future PUBG games are used as a play to earn game after collaboration with Solana it doesn't look good, because income will tend to be unstable, and requires players to earn without fun to play.
