Why is it the best way to sell and buy Bitcoin?

First, what's OTC?  It's "Over the Counter".
So IMO, the platform that has hosted OTC or is an act of an escrow or a middleman between two parties trading transactions could be swapping crypto or crypto to fiat.  As I heard, buying and selling large amounts on the P2P transaction or OTC is you may encounter difficulties in trading assuming that on this kind of platform there are fewer traders.

I trust no one except on Bisq and Hodlhodl, they're fully decentralized, and it is very safe to trade p2p.

So I leave all the reputable exchanges where I could be able to conveniently buy Bitcoin via the OTC option only to contact "BitcoinMoses" so that I can purchase the Large amount of Bitcoins from him. Wooow, you must be a very big joke, just like the claim on your signature that you are Satoshi Nakamoto  ;D

Not the best for me but I think if you're too conservative in selling, you want to have a physical contact with whom you're selling. The matter is that, it's not the best for everyone but it could be the best for the others including OP.
The rates are really different and it's not ideal for me but if I get to have some problems into limit in the future, I might consider doing trades through an OTC since I know a few that are existing in my place.

I reckon OTC trading the likes of which is described here is a fantastic way to get yourself murdered.

Is this option generally safe?

With reputable sources: yes.

With an anonymous gentleman who calls himself BitcoinMoses / Satoshi Nakamoto: probably not.

Is the option of swimming in a lake full of hungry sharks safe?

Nope, but it's certainly safer than carrying out an "OTC trade" with BitcoinMoses

1. You do not know who is 'Satoshi Nakamoto'.
2. You do not know who is 'BitcoinMoses'.
3. Who is there to dare to use the Genesis BTC Address ?

Listen gentlemen, when you do not know who Am I ? It is better for you all to be sceptic but with civil manner. Any one who claim to be the inventor of Bitcoin and Blockchain is an extra ordinary claim. As you know all that an extra ordinary claim requires an extraordinary evidence.
