If you don't want to download the blockchain for any reason, you can import your wallet into electrum. Electrum is a SPV wallet and you don't need to download the blockchain. Just note that SPV wallets like electrum don't give you the privacy wallets like Armory give you. In SPV wallets, you connect to a server which can link your addresses with your IP. Warning: Download electrum only from its official website (https://electrum.org/#home) and do not forget to verify your download (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5240594.0). It's also become offline if your PC date and time are not set properly. As the usual, you can also post the logs for more accurate responses. Logs are in your Armory data directory named "armorylog.txt" and "dblog.txt". You can remove the parts that you do not want to share like PC usernames. Also, the first reply's question is very important since Armory requires a fully synced - not pruned Bitcoin blockchain and Bitcoin Core client itself. |
