Anyone still joins airdrops this day? If Yes which platform are you using to participate in Airdrops? I'm using coinmarketcap but I never get a single payment from projects on the platform.

Airdrops not totally reliable, talking of airdrops then was 2017 and 2018 there were many project that was only launching airdrop and got succeeded without running any other marketing or further promotions but after few years back scammers invalided using airdrops and some phishing  site swipe people make it difficult to people to join airdrop. Secondly due to large numbers of participants joining airdrop at last it turns to trash payment.

There are still a lot of people that join the airdrops. The same platforms like the exchanges have their airdrops as well so for those traders, if it's just going to take a few minutes of their time, they'll join on it but not too emotionally attached to it.

You dont get reward, because allocation is low, and millions participate in such airdrops. There is simply not enough reward for everyone, and it cost more to distribute, if they reward each and every participant. That is why they reward only, for example, random 50k participants.

Years ago I used to take part in airdrops, and even then I barely receive anything. When airdrops migrated to telegram and started to be distributed through bots, is was a beginning of an end of airdrops. Scam greatly exceeded legit airdrops. Since then, we dont have airdrops anymore. Instead we have bounties and competitions under sign of airdrops. Now, why would I do weekly or daily tasks, compete with other participant in a competition who brings more referrals, when we still have regular bounties.

I think you already get the hint. Don't participate on it. Usually airdrops was not really free and there are set of steps you need to follow such as following social media and sharing their contents before you can receive airdrop and that airdrop was usually less than $5 so I don't think it is still worth it but you can find some of the airdrop here in the forum too.

I'm sure there are still many who follow it but I don't after too many it turns out to be a scam, maybe you should search on other platforms I see airdrops on CMC not fully airdrop because there are so many rules and it's quite hard to get the airdrops because it is usually only available to limited participants, examples this https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/zamio/airdrop/ only for 88 winners, who follow the airdrops so many.

To be honest i stopped caring about airdrops like 2 years ago or so. I still took part in the first few airdrops on coinmarketcap.com but as you already said the chances there are very slim and even if you get drawn you only get a handful of dollars worth of tokens. In general i have the feeling that the quality of the airdrops is decreasing month by month and most of the so called airdrops of today are not real airdrops anyway as they require you to join a telegram group, make a tweet and other stuff.

Nah, I don't think that airdrops is still worthy this 2022. The hype is gone and there are so many scams like projects not giving the right amount and I remember others asking for private keys or even some ETH to be able to received the airdrop.

So it's better to stop joining airdrops, maybe you have to look for other ways to earn some crypto, like trading.

Why don't you read the rules on CMC before try to join in the airdrop that held by CMC?
That was randomly choosing the winner from the total participants. If there are more than 1k people participated in the airdrop on CMC and the only chance for you to win the airdrop was around 1/1000.

Before you start your airdrop hunting journey I will like you to know what you are up against..

1. Only one out of 100 projects pay airdrop hunters.
2. Even if you get paid you expecting 1$ to 10$ from airdrop.
3. All you will lose is time not money but its better to spend time or something more worthy.
4. Joining Airdrops isn't safe, you can lose your private keys if you aren't careful, so use a separate wallet for airdrop hunting.

Yes. There are still a lot of people joining Airdrop today. Maybe there are many new Airdrop listings on Coinmarketcap, I've joined but didn't earn anything from them.

airdrop is kinda lacking in rewards nowadays even airdrops that are coming from platforms like coinmarketcap are only 1 in 1000 that could get any meaningful rewards out of it, instead you should just try out investing and maybe staking I guess since it gonna gives you real reward instead of just a false expectation like most of airdrops nowadays.
as far as I know, with staking there are so many platforms out there offering rewards for even a little money that could stake in their platform temporarily definitely a lot better than just some random airdrops.

Airdrop may good for you to waste your freetime but i just remind you never try to expect a big thing will come from your airdrop. You have participated in so many CMC airdrop and i guess you got nothing from there.

Airdrops are a nice way for projects to reach their target audience. But they are no longer used as before. Because malicious people abuse airdrops with fraudulent methods. Projects have therefore given up on traditional airdrop methods (I think they are absolutely right). They now use "learn&earn or use to earn" programs instead of the classic airdrop methods. You can try to use potential promising projects early on. For example, ENS (Ethereum Name Service) was one of them. It gave a very good airdrop to early-stage users. I wish you good luck.

If airdrops would be just the way to go to get rich, why won't everyone just do airdrops and never think about work again, lol. See that's what is wrong, OP. There are people still depending in these airdrops thinking that it would even pay them a dim, and even if they did, it is a shitcoin that won't last overnight.

I still join airdrop. for the platform I used, I prefer to join the airdrop program on the exchange. there are too many airdrop scams circulating on social media, so I prefer airdrops from tokens or coins that will be listed on the exchange. For airdrop on coinmarketcap, I think it's difficult to get it because the recipient of the airdrop was chosen randomly and I gave up joining the coinmarketcap airdrop program.

I  am joining only top class aidrop which are 100% guaranteed and most of the distribution is instant.
Safepal wallet airdrop are very good and i did not miss it. Exchanges airdrop like Binance,Gate,Kucoin,Houbei and other are also very good and instant.
Aidrop reward is low from 5$-50$ but easy task and instant payment

It is not recommendable to join airdrops as of this moment. It is not the same back then, where you could earn thousands of dollars with just a sing coin. I have never experience that ever again. Im not joining in any airdrop anymore. The reward was random and very small right now. Legit airdrop was only happening for the platform users or NFT holders. The free airdrops tokens will always become junk tokens. That's my reason to not participate in the airdrop anymore. These days airdrop is not worth even a few dollars and mostly of airdrops are dropping so hard on its price as the developers are dumping their assets.
Using coinmarketcap to get an airdrop was a big mistake. I will call that CMC airdrop more likely as gleam competition rather than airdrop.

Hi, guys. In my opinion, you should not only follow the airdrop from one platform.
coinmarketcap always holds airdrop events but the competition is very tight because most people take part in the airdrop here.

Well i am also using coinmarketcap airdrop i follow thier airdrop but until now i haven't recieved a great payment. I always prefer on investing and joining signature campaign than doing airdrop, because airdrop cant give a big profit that is why it is called airdrop we can only get a very small amount of token with a very cheap value and that is really bored.

Mostly airdrops from those sites coinmarketcap, airdropalert etc.,  is just part of promotions wherein you can only receive a very little portion of token worth just $1-$5 yeah its legit but too small in value you may want to hold it for years to speculate more profit from them. A worth to join airdrops are those that came from using some platforms like early users of dex a retroactive drops like from Uniswap, Opendao, DappRadar,DyDx, 1inch. This 2022 rumors circulating that opensea and metamask might airdrop governance token this year, who knows this might be a record breaking airdrops so watchout for this big two.

Airdrops are not attractive anymore compared to airdrops five years ago, airdrops nowadays majority of it are worthless and they just want to get your vital information to sell in the market, and some airdrops take months to receive your shares after the developers dump their shares, good projects seldom do airdrops and if they do airdrops they accept limited to participants compared to most airdrops that accept everybody who wants to join.

Have different kinds with 2022 airdrop because several time I got above $200 on testnet airdrop, not instant but have working hard how joining with several testnet airdrop and only worth with few airdrop. Usually with five or seven kinds from testnet airdrop just getting two or three kinds with good value, last time with umee airdrop and worth about $300 and looks potential but keep patience waiting for distributing more than one month, I will join all testnet airdrop from now and hope could get many lucky testnet airdrop again.

i think airdrop is no more beneficial now. 90% of airdrop proved scam in last month. some airdrop give you token instant and lock the token and you cannot sell. Yes, this is true it's really hard to find a legit Airdrop project nowadays unlike before when you can hold and trade it (If legit). I think people are into NFTs that is "Play to earn" which game developers are adopting cryptocurrency into their games and to gain more players which they are also earning from Ads and In-game purchases. I remember joining this thing last 2016-2018, many of them are listed to exchange, and many participants got their rewards and valuable tokens/coins but for now, they are absolutely useless free drops. A reason why I didn't join and I encourage others not to waste their time either.

airdrops from any site now more than 90% are scams.  i've never participated in an airdrop since i didn't get paid for all the airdrops i've followed so far, you're just wasting time if you join the airdrop, you better leave it.

I think coinmarketcap is very difficult now, some choose random, but some lucky they get it in their wallet. I've been following the airdrop until now, relying only on friends from the community group and telegram channel to get info about the airdrop, unfortunately many of those we follow don't always pay, who usually pay if they are lucky because they follow the airdrop in the 'random winner' category with a specified amount.

usually airdrop program allocate some coins for certain number participants. for example they allocate 1k token for 500 participants that randomly pick, by doing this sytem more participants join lower chance for us to get it.  but if we got it usually its worthed enough. and another system usually they give all participant with their allocation , in this case ofcourse we will got small token. for airdrop hunter , should pick in which kind of type we will join.

if compared with bounty reward , most of airdrop reward still below it. but if we find hidden gem in airdrop , it could worth more than $100 each . maybe to find this kind project we need to join more than 50 campaigns. maybe reward from airdrop campaign very small, but if we join on more 10 or even 20 campaign i think it could be good income for us. as i know , we have to keep our spirit and never surrender when find scam projects.

There are not airdrops nowadays. No one sends free crypto in 2022. Instead we receive scam BSC garbage tokens every time we make a transaction in our wallet. Airdrops are gone. Instead of airdrops we have referral competitions and testnet programs. Test a platform, wallet, network - get a reward. That is a current airdrop reality. Even telegram airdrop bots are more dead than alive, as I barely receive spam with a favor to join. I no longer even get tagged in twitter in crap airdrop programs either.

Well, the last time I took part in the airdrop was a few months ago, and until now I haven't gotten the reward that I should have received. it seems that it is currently very difficult to get rewards from airdrops, even though I participated in airdrops from quite large projects.

Airdrop is a waste of time. Some of your efforts in participating in any available airdrops would probably end up a waste of time. Those coins or tokens being airdrop, most of them, would end up having little value or no value at all. Though there are chances where an airdrop can have a value, they are very limited  Only good projects has it but they are very hard to find. Most people would suggest that you must try to find a reliable source of profit rather than relying on airdrops that would end up having no value.

I've quite hesitant to see them having an airdrop activity, might they're some but the majority are not doing any. That is why we could say that almost 100% of these airdrops today are useless, they are just consuming our time doing the task but the rewards are shitcoins.

I can add to your exchange rate of 10:1 or 15:1 the fact that received airdrop token value might be much lower than transaction cost. Either you get an Ethereum token and its trade will never cover transaction cost. Or you get a BSC token, that is traded on a DEX, where you first enable transaction, then swap. I think airdrop participant will end with 0 profit in this situation.

Personally, I have stopped participating in airdrops when "Ethereum transactions became expensive". And all projects that are on BSC blockchain and ran airdrops, turned to be scam. If in 2021 airdrops were unprofitable, waste of time, then in 2022 it is better to skip them at all.

The Cardano network has an airdrop/faucet protocol called "DripDropz" ( https://dripdropz.io ).

If you have some ADA delegated to a Cardano stakepool (helping secure the Cardano network) you are eligible for any number of airdrops and/or faucet drips of some tokens/assets launched on Cardano's blockchain. There is a new, clean "Drip" every Cardano "Epoch" (5 days) (actually, not all "Drips" or "Drops" require having an active stake).

How it works is: you submit a public ADA wallet receive address, and DripDropz lets you know which tokens/assets you are eligible to claim, and how many. You can claim up to 10 different token/asset types per "Drip" (net fee of 2 ADA per Drip).

Cardano is sort of the bastard network at the moment, so their tokens, NFTs and protocols are all fairly new and/or finishing up development. And as such, they are not valued terribly highly. Hardly any are currently worth anywhere near the 0.2 ADA you would pay as part of a 10-token Drip.

If Cardano remains the red-headed stepchild and never meets its potential to be a leading smart contract platform, many of the tokens, tools and protocols won't amount to more than clutter in your wallets.

But there's a chance some of these dripped tokens might be worth something in the fairly distant future. Especially if Cardano lives up to its aspirations.

In my opinion, there is no benefit in airdrop because airdrop is not paid if the minimum is 100 to 200. And the ones from which the payment is made have no price. Some of the airdrops I saw in 2022 that are made through the website are fed to the top ten or 100 people. Airdrop is usually controlled by bots.

Airdrop hunters keep dreaming about legit airdrop. This will not happen again. Mostly of legit airdrop made by a popular platforms which were required so many requirements to be eligible as a participants that can claim the airdrop.i think that from here we do know that the future of airdrop is not so bright. You're a lucky guy because of your rewarded token got listed on the Binance exchange, i think it’s big reason to you received a huge amount of money from one project, i have seen a big airdrop project was SafePal and also it was listed on Binance who guys caught it they got big profits. I have not seen anyone get such profit by airdrop till today. But many say I got a lot of big payments.However, a friend of mine received a large payment from an airdrop that day.I didn't believe it after seeing it. All those points you listed are good to watch out for before joining in any airdrop giveaways. But I do not believe that even when the airdrop teams promise to meet all that, that they keep their promise. They like to change the rules after the tasks have been done and deadline passed and by then it would be too late for those who participated to do anything. I suffered this and that is why i do not like taking part in anything that is airdrop. No transparency and truth with the way those who handle it do it.

I have tried my luck in early adopter airdrops. Although some of them have paid me decently like the Aqua, Fox and DappRadar, most of them who are using Telegram bot are simply “trash”. very strange, you are no longer participating in airdrop because most airdrop are scams but you are still in this forum and participating in bounties even though most bounties are scams too. you shouldn't need to overdo it if most of the airdrops are scams because to participate in the airdrop you don't have to work every day like in a bounty. In coinmarketcap i see so many airdrops are legit and winners got payment because i know about some of my friends who got rewards by participation in cmc airdrops but i don’t know about their all of the airdrops are legit or not. Airdrops these days are a total waste of time. Just like mining bitcoin on my phone or laptop. You're better of investing. Even engaging in bounty hunting is getting irrelevant

Before, airdrops are famous which you can earn money for free and later on you can earn crypto for a very very simple task and you'll get rewarded once the time of distribution comes. As of now, airdrops are not the same as before and you could only earn a very small amount of crypto when you join am airdrop that are legit instead of scam ones. There are even scammers trying to scam people by givings free tokens which you may think it is an airdrop. In short, it's a waste of time but not completely as other airdrops are legit.

It's been a while since I participated in an airdrop campaign, I can't find any decent returns or rewards from the airdrop. It's all just a scam and trying to steal participant information, the airdrop reward is sometimes too small for us to convert to usdt.

the lastes airdrop i am joined only WHO from safepal that give SFP holder BRE, with around $300 initial balance buying safepal i got around 60$ before price dumped. maybe this is the second airdrop from safepal wallet and i think its good enough if looking profit ratio with balance i spend. another airdrop i am not join due too many people in here and also most of them still still drawn.

Coinmarketcap airdrop is lottery system.Coinmarketcap airdrop don't give payments all participants.Because they are payment only winner person.Most of the participants in coinmarketcap airdrop.Not everyone can win because there are so many participants. I have participated in several airdrops and hopes to be a winner, currently to get Airdrops is very difficult, in Coinmarketcap participants Airdrops can reach millions and the winners are only 1000 or the chance to win is 1/1000, we only hope Luck in the Airdrops.

if you think you’re the ones that gonna get that special treatment from coinmarketcap and get that share of airdrops then you’re simply mistaken, i'd just recommend you refraining from thinking that you could get some fair amount of share in the airdrops by participating because there are simply so many people out there that also thinking the same thing, hoping that they could somehow scores great return out of nothing which isn’t really true at all.
instead you should just participate in a more guaranteed rewards through things like staking which atleast gives real value as a reward despite requiring you staking certain amounts of money.

maybe our win rate less than 2% if joining airdrop program ,, to many participant in each airdrop and we could not deny this fact.alot people complaining why they didnt get airdrop at this moment , meanwhile when once they get its value very low and even to sold it need high transaction fee.joining airdrop really make us give up and as if there is no more campaign in crypto market.

I did not participate in any airdrop in 2022. Because I have participated in many airdrop before but have not received any payment. However, I saw Irfan_Pak's telegram group https://t.me/Officialbountyportal promoting some airdrop that are paying the hunters. I myself have never participated. Irfan_Pak's Airdrops are usually Gleams airdrop where winners are limited but many user selected for airdrop because number of real users are not big. Profit is also not bad because for joining simple social media channel and one share you will get 50$ above which is I think good for new users. Some Testnet airdrops are very worthy where user Recieved more than 200$ above just by using tesnet compaigns

Absolutely correct. I don't even think it is free cos with what you have to complete for most of this airdrop, I think it is too much work with little pay or even nothing cos you cannot really say that you will make anything from what you will get from the airdrop.

If you are joining airdrop of coinmarkecap so you will never get anyone because there are a lot of bots and fake users joining coinmarketcap airdrops so if you want to get free airdrop then you need to find testnet airdrops from a medium that can give you good profit.

In my opinion, participating in the airdrop is not advisable as all of them will waste us time. Quality airdrop projects like you said will limit the reward and the number of participants so the ability to get the reward will become difficult.

Currently there are many alternative forms such as testnet or join the learn to earn campaign of the exchange or right on coinmarketcap. Participating in testnet we can both experience the product and receive valuable rewards, learn to earn will help us both knowledge and money. I stopped joining Airdrop these days.  The ones I received in my wallet I have been able to sell. Imagine sending a token worth 14$ and selling it will require a gas fees of about 35$, because the token is on the Ethereum network.

I experienced the same thing lots of times and still ended up with nothing. The cost of the fee is higher than the actual value of the airdrop tokens which is quite disappointing. I must say that airdrops these days are too different from the airdrops that we had years ago. They're now asking for too many tasks but don't pay their participants enough.

Maybe you should try finding airdrops from different blockchain networks that requires less to zero fees like cosmos and polygon. There are a bunch of airdrops out there that doesn't need too much gas fee to met the requirements. I agree, The first wave of airdrops were actually worth it because most of it were sellable at a good price. Today, Airdrops required interactions with the project but I think ok since there are so many  airdrop abusers all around the space.

Most of the airdrops are in a smart contract (Ethereum Mainnet) which cannot avoid the transaction fees if you try to withdraw or swap it in ETH, USD, or other altcoins. It would be much better to join those bounty campaigns that they will be sending the token through BSC to avoid those massive fees.

well, if you compare it with the first, then the difference can be very visible. in fact I once earned more than $100 for the airdrops I worked on. however, currently all is limited, even we need to do some research to get aiddrop worth $5. it's good if the project sends an airdrop with a BSC chain. however, if it was ERC20, well, you guessed it. people tend to leave it all in their wallets.
for now, I think that airdrops that are still worth are often given by Binance, whether it's in the form of NFT, or coins. they sometimes give something worth. if you still want to work on airdrops, then keep looking.

Participation airdrop in 2022, is nothing but waste of time. airdrops are turn into full of garbage now. They are scam and never listed on any exchange. Legit airdrop is like a dream. Sometime some valuable project give you $4-$5 worth token and it need more fee to transfer than the value it have. Now this days, hardly I see a legit airdrop because airdrops are scam which fraudsters Innovate into the space to scam newbies in the space. For coinmarketcap airdrops, I'm lucky as i won serveral time but situation Isn't same now like 2017, 2018 when a lots of valuable airdrop came. Now haven’t eligible for coinmarketcap airdrop a long. Airdrop processed are changed now along with allocation budget. Hardly you can find a hidden gem. Thats why we should try to analysis before joining airdrop, not participate randomly but at least with them which seems good for future

Airdrops of today aren’t the same of years ago. Before now, you will get an airdrop that had value. OP is asking about 2022 and here we are heading to 2024 where it is so difficult to see one genuine project that will give an airdrop that worths something and not a few cents. Literally cryptocurrencies does not favor us indemnity that it will provide us economic benefit therefore we cannot predict that which bounty, Airdrop and trade of coin can exactly give us profit. Most of the Airdrop become useless and they don't provide us any amount but there are also some Airdrop that share lots of rewards with its participants.

If any project gives an airdrop to their users, that gives investors more confidence about the project because the token will not be heavily internally controlled. The problem is user needs to risk their own money to get these airdrop because most of the airdrop has been distributed to only those who have a greater volume of those projects dapps. The year 2022 taught me alot, I've gain and loss in the market, mostly based on airdrops which I've no clue about but kept grinding for good results. Patience is definitely what we use to survived in the market, there are more challenges we face in the market, but keep strong motive in all you do if you're keen on surviving in the broad market. I've abandoned airdrops because there are vast majority of them in the market and 90% of these airdrops are consider scams, we just keep wasting our time and energy on projects that won't make any significant pump in the market.
