I always thought all the stupid tweets by Moon boys are going to be considered April Fool Joke.
"BTC to reach $1m by 2025". Stuff like that.

Of course, there will be, it's not like your first time hanging around the internet right? Regardless of the day/event, there will always be fake news/trollpostings, it's inevitable as almost everyone has the technology nowadays. I believe checking the calendar first thing today would be the best explanation on why you can't believe anything or perhaps everything on the internet right now.  🤣

I always thought that Russia asking for Bitcoin and Rubles for their gas starting today is the ultimate April fools trolling...

So far I haven't seen any. But most of the news that we've been seeing lately were kind of part of April fool's even if they're not. Well, there's no need to worry with those because many of the investors today are wiser than the past years.
Everybody knows that today is April fool's and many of us have the idea to verify it first before believing.

It is true that on the first of April every year something exceptional is seen.  Which is known as April Fool. So I refrain from doing anything in crypto on April Fool Day. I don't believe any news these days. He he

But not all news in April is fake news. We also have to be wise in seeing, reading and responding to a news, we need to dig and find out the origin and reason for the news was made, maybe there are parties who make the news correctly, can't it be profitable for us? I don't think we can equate and speculate that all the news in April was fake news.

I don't see news related to April Fools, but if I see one story that looks untrue, I try to calm down and not panic and look for other news. If there weren't other news stories telling the same story, I wouldn't react and just skip it. No need to panic if you see fake news like that because there is so much fake news on the internet that irresponsible people spread. They just want to make a profit by spreading fake news.

With the abundance of news and the internet giving you an insight into people's minds and lives, I am inclined to think that every day is April's Fool, alas, it's only people being stupid and I give them too much credit. I haven't come across any news in that vein today, but again, with everyone yelling how fucked or how glorious crypto is every 5 days, it's hard to take any of that seriously.

The IQ system is kinda funny though.

I actually like it, It makes me use my brain for once XD

I always thought that Russia asking for Bitcoin and Rubles for their gas starting today is the ultimate April fools trolling...

Imagine Putin coming online and saying that Russia will accept rubles or doge for gas and oil, this will be funny as hell, especially if h throws something about BTC being controlled by the CIA. I wonder how many will believe this is a joke, especially in these times. We had a full week of April fools, remember the fiasco with the rumors of Malaysia, and Honduras? I'm always been distrustful of crypto news websites but from now on I'll trust them only if it's something negative, they have no reasons to post that unless it is true.

That aside, probably we're not seeing any major prank titles because for a full year they were blowing every random tweet out of proportions so when it comes to actually fabricating something that is funny from scratch they find it impossible.

I always thought all the stupid tweets by Moon boys are going to be considered April Fool Joke.
"BTC to reach $1m by 2025". Stuff like that.

Why is that stupid? We've already reached $87k by going up nearly 80% today, 3 more years for another 10x seems reasonable.  ;)
Wonder if anyone is going to check the price after reading this.

The phenomenon of April fools, we have seen it very often every time we enter the new year, especially April, But it's a shame if anyone thinks April is a fool, very seriously, as I have seen on the internet.
Example:
April Fool’s Day: 5 things to keep in mind to avoid being fooled in cryptocurrency world; Check inside (https://www.google.com/amp/s/newsroompost.com/business/april-fools-day-5-things-to-keep-in-mind-to-avoid-being-fooled-in-cryptocurrency-world-check-inside/5080329.html/amp)

Greece withdraws from Euro and runs on Bitcoin; April Fools Prank or Serious Possibility? (https://ideas.repec.org/p/pra/mprapa/65317.html)

News about April this idiot, I only took 1-3, there are hundreds of other news out there internet/google.

What I want to convey is the content of the source below.

Not an April Fools’ Joke: Bored Ape Yacht Club Handles Discord Issue, Captcha Bot Reportedly Compromised (https://www.google.com/amp/s/cryptopotato.com/not-an-april-fools-joke-bored-ape-yacht-club-handles-discord-issue-captcha-bot-reportedly-compromised/%3famp)
Quote
It's April Fools' Day and scammers are rampant. Make sure to be extra careful and don't be fooled by any scam.
Maybe this is what really needs to be wary of the April fool phenomenon.

april fools has become a tradition in many countries and bitcoin is also inseparable from it, i remember years ago a lot of FUD news spread about bitcoin during april fools, lucky for those who don't believe but those who do believe it's really bad luck lol.

We live in a very bizarre world. A couple of people here mentioned some facts and said they thought it was a Fool's Day joke, which it technically wasn't. Many things happen that seem unbelievable, and sometimes it's impossible to determine if something actually happened or if someone decided to joke about it. So I opened news in Google if you choose "Bitcoin" for the search. There's pro-Bitcoin Goldman Sachs (https://www.forbes.com/sites/korihale/2022/04/01/goldman-sachs-co-signs-bitcoin--ethereum-for-high-net-worth-clients/?sh=6e6e8e357f9b) (joke or not? I have no idea), an article about PoS named "Will Ethereum replace Bitcoin (https://www.finews.com/news/english-news/50830-bitcoin-energy-greenpeace-campaign-change-the-code-not-the-climate)" (which is certainly a joke, Bitcoin can't be replaced with Ethereum, but the article might have meant it seriously). The lines between serious and funny, real and fake, are being blurred.

Fake news are all over the market regardless if its April fool's or not. So there's nothing really new about it. But good thing is, most of the new investors nowadays are smarter than before, and they always find time to DYOR before taking such investments. Being knowledgeable in all aspects of investments will prevent us from being fooled, and we tend to lessen the risk of losing. However, if greed is still there, then we will always keep losing no matter how knowledgeable we are.

Vitalik made a blog post in support of Bitcoin maximalism (https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1509826171692892166). Of course it's a trolling that exaggerates Bitcoin maximalism and tries to portray it in a negative light.

I always thought that Russia asking for Bitcoin and Rubles for their gas starting today is the ultimate April fools trolling...

The joke is on them, Europe refused their ultimatum and they still supply them with gas. Apparently Russia needs those euros as much as Europe needs that gas.

I didn't find it, or avoided such tweets earlier this month. Honestly, April Fools' news is not important, because everyone already knows the traditions of this month. I believe people will think critically and no longer get carried away if they can identify fake news in April let alone about Bitcoin being tweeted by crazy influencers.

Fooling across the crypto market does not just happen on April Fools. Almost everyday is April Fools in the vast world of cryptocurrency. Everybody is warned everyday.

There's that shitcoin being sold with the promise that it will x1,000, another that it will be the Bitcoin killer, another Ethereum killer, etc. There's that jpeg that is being put on sale for $20,000. There's that investment offer that promises to double your money in a blink of an eye. There's that signal and TA that predict Bitcoin to rise to $1,000,000. And many more foolishness. They're all around from January to December, 24/7.

I doubt any news portal would be spreading false news as a joke during April Fool's day. They would be risking their credibility. Not everyone waking up remembers that it is the 1st of April. Reading a fake (joke) article from their news portal they follow daily would end up making them take seriously bad decision and that news portable will be blamed and might be held liable. The portal can't defend themselves saying "it was a joke!".

Since I know bitcoin their was never a time I observe any form of April fool and it won't be funny, I believe it can't take place.  I'm still wondering how the bitcoin prank would be like because it will change so many people mood, April Fool for bitcoin can never be possible.  I think bitcoin is too important to be a joke
