Title: Mining with RTX3070 TI OC Post by: co1nb0y on April 04, 2022, 07:24:34 PM Hello,
I have been out of touch of mining since I last used R-BOX with CGminer. I recently bought RTX 3070 TI OC and was wondering if it is possible to use it for mining BTC or other crypto. Any pointers will be appreciated. Thanks. I'm not so sure because this beast takes up to 250watt from the wall measurement, a friend had one that does 54MH on Ethermine pool, I stopped mining later since the electricity consumption is too much.

For gaming also not the best GPU. Not enough vram for gaming and for this price. We make more money with ergo than ETH especially at the moment! Thanks. https://whattomine.com/gpus/62-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-ti?cost=0.1&cost_currency=USD The problem with many RTX 3070 TI video cards is memory overheating, because these models have DDR6X memory installed. If the memory temperature is more than 100 degrees, then you need to change the thermal pads. You need to choose the right thickness, you need to achieve the best pressure between the processor memory and the heatsink. Incorrect installation may result in a short circuit. Why such risks because of 6 degrees Celsius? |
