Whether you go in first or not. Nobody sensible enough can trade with you. This is more like a trap which most currency traders are aware of here.Hard luck.

Money sent through PayPal and any other money transfer service that accepts credit cards can be easily reversed by the sender, even after several weeks. Therefore, you should only accept PayPal in trades with people you trust very highly.

This is why newbies are not likely to sell their PayPal USD for bitcoins successfully.

I will deal with you if I hold you paypal for 24 hours to be sure I can withdraw to my bank card, minimum 500 euro.

Correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I know, even if you hold the transferred funds and then move them to your bank account or buy something, the sender can still dispute/ reverse the order.
Eg. the funds will be removed from your bank account on PayPal's behalf, due to the dispute/ reverse order.

Friends and family transfer should be able to protect him from that type of scam.

This is true, the buyer can still do that but with a fee of 20% I can care about the dispute that may occure the following 6 months. Once in my bank account I know to the least that I am not going to lose the specific ammount of the trade.

It may depend on the bank how they handle this, but PayPal will at least have a claim on you. Depending on the country you live in that may or may not mean something.

Nope. Friends and family transactions are meant for people you trust. It's kinda in the name. If you accept such a payment from someone you don't know, and it turns out they used a stolen creditcard to fund the transaction, PayPal can lock your account.

Didn't know that. Thanks for sharing, seems like Paypal is a no-no.

Why not just use Localbitcoin or Paxful? You can find very good deals there sometime like only 1-2% over the market.

Do you really think OP has any good intentions in carrying out the trade?

Look at his post history, the fact that he doesn't want to go in first and also using PayPal as a payment method are all clues that he is out here to scam.

Lol, scammer.  Certainly you're aware that PayPal allows one to charge-back a purchase for up to 180 days.  You won't send a revisable transaction first, but you expect someone to trust you to send you a non-revisable transaction?  Probably because you've never seen €2000 in your life.  Even if you did have €2000 and was willing to send first, I wouldn't send you a single satoshi until that €2000 sat in my PayPal account for a minimum of 181.5 days, i.e. 36 hours more than PayPal allows for charge-backs.

Thanks for being brave enough to handle this amount of currency.
