Yfi been quiet now its a low supply it means buying demand can drive up price fast.
Can the YFI do the comeback ?
Will we see action about YFI ?

Remember that there are two things that control the price of a currency:

 - Supply and demand: There is no linear relationship between them, so a decrease in supply does not mean that demand will increase.
 - News, regulatory restrictions, market movement and other factors.

Therefore, a decrease in supply is a good indicator, but it does not necessarily mean that it is an ideal opportunity to buy, especially if the quantity supplied is controlled.

Therefore, I do not advise you to invest according to this indicator, because it is considered an indicator of (pumping/dumping) and therefore the possibility of losing your money is bit high.

Supply itself wouldn't be able to prop up prices; there should be a healthy amount of demand if you want sustainable price increases. Lots of projects with really low token emissions but still end up in a death spiral because the projects' fundamentals suck.

Well it has enjoyed a good run last year if I'm not mistaken. It's one of the most copied or at least scammers using YFI's name to fraud many crypto investors.

But it seems the hype has died down already. So as far as it making a comeback? not sure about it unless some group started to do some pump and dump again. As for the supply, it's not the only driving force behind the price though.

it doesn't mean low supply can drive the price to go up as fast as possible and it's not how crypto is working. That totally depend with the hype that can drive people to buy.

YFI can comeback again but that needs a long time to happen. These days the demand are jumping from one to the another project.
We will but no one can predict it about when that will happen

So many defi exist in the market, these defi have better features compared with YFI. the hype can comeback to the YFI anytime but it has no ETA. The fact that if YFI's total supply has nothing to do with the price. The demand and supply are determining the price of YFI. So, without the big hype that will be creating FOMO and YFI will be quite stagnant like this time.
I do know how good YFI was as the first defi but more and more new defi came with various innovations on its platforms.
YFI looks like an outdated defi platform for sure but it was still offering very interesting yield for the passive income seekers.

Liquidity is your sign if you wanted to secure and assure that your investment will have some good positive results in the future. as for the merely burning of tokens and decreasing their supplies, it's just an ordinary event that always happening in the crypto market, nothing much we can take here. All you need to do is check the project if they have some real developers and constant update on their project because if you rely only on their promises which you might not even know if it is real or not, it will only lead to broken heart once you see that they don't go anywhere at all because all of those promises are not true.

It's still quite expensive, half of the price of bitcoin.

We don't know if it's going to comeback to the ATH. It's been popular before and I don't think that I'll ever have 1 of it.
