Title: Is this scam?
Post by: pornluver on April 08, 2022, 10:19:38 AM
https://app.beefy.com/#/fantom/vault/curve-ftm-f-ftml

I am just curious.

It's new. APY is high. The interface for adding liquidity is weird. I often got message address not found or something. As if someone create fake coins

I got this message warning:

Quote
Error: Error: selectTokenById: Unknown token id FTML for chain fantom, maybe you need to load the addressbook

What does that even mean?

I deposit ftm (instead of lftm). And biffy recognize that anyway.

I think that you must also be careful when connecting or sending your money to the suspicious site like that. It can be a trap that already created by scammer. You must be careful caused by when you are connecting your wallet and the scammer may able to steal your token in your wallet. Any project that has no product but it was offering a very big APY was a scam.
There are some threads already discussed about this too. I think that you need to dig it a little bit more to read more about that.
Someone was created this thread a few days ago.

Are you talking about beefy finance? I don't think that's the right link to the platform, you can go on coinmarketcap.com for the original project website and links, here is the beefy finance link on CMC, good luck

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/beefy-finance/

Avoid connecting your wallet to any website you can lose all your crypto assets this way.

Yes I am talking about beefy finance.

Beefy finance itself is quite sound

I wonder if pairs it promotes sound too.

Beefy finance is legitimate but I am not sure about the coins in your link about the FTML/FTM I am not sure about that particularly if they are new coins and have low volume just like what is on your link, even if there is a high APY the coin could be very volatile and most of the time high APY is just to attract investors that they can scam.
