I was playing Handball in primary school and it is the first place for me among the games I have played with pleasure.

I opened this topic to give detailed information about this beautiful sport that is so enjoyable but that people are not aware of.

It is very important for the development and physiological development of children, with a play style blended from many sports branches. Basketball, Volleyball, Long Jump etc. Techniques in sports are used in combination in this branch of sports.

So what is this Handball?

A fun team game that is not very common in countries.

The word "handball" is derived from the word "handball" meaning "handball" and entered Turkish.

The handball ball is covered with synthetic fabric.
In men's teams, a match is played in two 30-minute halves in indoor sports halls.
In women's teams, a half time is 25 minutes. The half-time break is 10 minutes.
As I mentioned above, Handball is a high-paced, high-quality game that requires physical strength.
It is a game in which there are miniature castles against each other and the aim of the game is to score a goal against the opposing team.
The perception of the word GOAL, which we are accustomed to from football, is also present in Handball, but goals are scored by hand.
Handball, which can be called a mixture of football and basketball, is played by hand.
Standard playing field dimensions should be 40 meters long and 20 meters wide.
There are two goals on the field, the goal lines, the outer goal lines, the center line and the side lines.

Handball Game Rules;

The beginning of the game starts with throwing the ball into the air as in basketball.
Due to the rules of handball, the ball cannot touch the areas below the knee. Players who violate the rule will be out of the game for 2 minutes.
When a player is out of play due to a foul, no substitute may be substituted.
The players hold the ball for 3 seconds and after taking 3 steps they must release the ball.
The ball held by the opponent cannot be touched by other players, but the player's ball throw can be blocked.
The penalty kick is made from a distance of 7 meters, imagine that your arm muscles must be strong enough to score a goal by hand from this distance.
There are two referees who rule the game.
I just said the below-the-knee rule, but this does not apply to goalkeepers, they can use their hands and feet. Other players can only play manually.
Defenders can contact other players within certain rules.

The best part of this game is that players other than the goalkeeper are not allowed to enter the D-shaped penalty area, which is 6 m away. In order to score a goal other than a penalty, you have to shoot from a distance of 6 meters without hitting the lines.
However, it is not forbidden to enter the penalty area from outside the penalty area and without stepping on the line while you are in the air, and you have to take the shot and get the ball out of your hand without your feet touching the ground. So if you want, which is usually done, you score goals by flying.

You should focus the discussion on handball by changing the title to Handball Discussion Thread which will be good rather than a general discussion again of all sports. AFAIK handball is a soccer combined with basketball gameplay because players need to dribble while shooting it in the goal to score. This sports is not available in my country but I do bet on this sports when I'm just trying my luck on sports betting while waiting for the game I'm gonna bet.

It will be more cool to visit here if you can provide us an analysis about teams on specific league that you are familiar.

I've never played handball, although in my country this sport is quite well developed. As far as I know the game of handball makes athletes very tough and strong, and girls handball players also have these qualities.

I have never bet on handball because I don't know the players and teams very well. For me it is more understandable to bet on soccer championships.

I am more interested in playing cricket and football. The most popular sport is cricket. I am always busy playing cricket and most interested in playing cricket But I like playing football a lot. I enjoy every league from start to finish. Hand basketball is also very good.

This game handball is not really popular in my country but i know in some of the developed countries, this is very much famous and well played. This is more likely similar to football i guess but it needs more hand skills to win such game. Handball is played with dribbling, throwing and catching so you have to develop these skills. And since its not really popular here, i have not experienced betting in this kind of game. Its good to bet if you think you know the game well.

In my country, basketball is the national sport but like you I also don't play it. What can we do? we simply have no interest with it. There is no need to force yourself on one sport just because the majority likes it. You can still get familiar of the teams, know the rules of the game or even place a bet on the game that you don't know how to play in real life.

This handball game is not available on my country and this is the first time I hear of such game but its mechanics are interesting the way some users describes it. It looks like it's a combination of soccer and basketball so there's two games in one. This game is tough, so big salute to the players.

Oh shit, this is a sport that in my country little is publicized or played, but I got to play handball in my school days, it's a very good sport, but very tiring and I preferred to just stick with soccer and basketball. I don't know about this game perhaps I missed this part during my school days but it has a similarity like a football. Maybe I played this one or maybe not when I was a kid but this looks new to me though and looks tough. :o

Ohhh this game is kinda similar to what our professor back in college made us play for our Physical Education class. Rather than 7 players though iirc we only had 5 players for each side but it was nonetheless fun. I didn't expect it to be that intense since I thought the idea was kinda simple (and boring) when I first heard of it, but it was actually quite intense once the game gets going. Though I guess since it was a one-off kind of thing for me I never had much interest on the sports scene of it.

This sport was not popular in my country, but I read in some articles that some sports teachers teach this sport in school.
It is slowly getting attention from students and they are trying to learn how to play with the right.
So I guess this sport can grow in the future, especially if there is a competition between each school.
I do not know if sports betting sites have this sport on their list because I do not search for these sports and only pay attention to football as that is my interest to bet.

Interesting to see Handball mentioned here as I rarely see other gamblers share their pick on Handball.

My favorite sport right now is probably American Football, even though the NFL season just ended recently and I don't follow most of the teams and the players I really enjoy the format of the league and how teams get to play once a week which puts the players at their best knowing their opportunity to play is only limited.

If only esports is included it'd be my first pick since i'm more interested in watching some of the famous esports games.

Seem the same concept with soccer or hockey, handball looks easy to score. Its hard a lot harder for the goal guard because the players has more control of the ball because the ball is handled by the hand itself unlike other games. Not the type of game I would like to bet.

I am aware of this game called handball. I think this is one of the sports that is interesting to watch. In fact, in almost any sport where there is a confrontation between two teams, it is interesting to watch. I singled out for myself, such as football, basketball, volleyball. When I was in school I remember that only one time we played basketball in our physical training class and every other time we used to play football as the most popular game in our country.I don't think that we even have handball national team here or handball teams playing a local Championship,we are limited to only football and basketball as far as I know as the most widely practiced sports here,sure there are a lot others but I don't know about handball for sure.

Look most specific talking with handball sport only with his tread and I think OP need to change with topic move to handball sport not with sport interests you. I have interested with football only so far and not understand with handball sport because beside not have hobbies and my country still not popular with handball spot. Every country have each spot iconic and I think OP become from country with handball are popular sport maybe there. I think with football looks interested sport competition where every week watch football match on stadium with thousand fans there and support their team.

I think what the OP aimed at is to publish on both football and handball games and take cognisance to their past events and records, well this is interesting, at least members could engage on a discussion and in an extensive manner and as for me am a fan of both games and I will like to fully participate along other interesting members here.

Which sport interests me? I was surprised to see OP specifically posted about handball and not about what the topic is all about, talking about handball, the line-up and game team handball consist of and the rules to follow. In my high opinion, I do not think this is necessary in gambling discussion. It would have been better if the OP is more about gambling and discussion about matches in handball and what to bet for which is what gambling discussion is all about.

If I will have to mention the sport that really interests me, I will go for football which is the first, basketball, table tennis and lawn tennis. They are the four I have ever preferred, but I still play casinos too like Roulettes and Blackjack. But most preferably, I like football, I like to bet on prematch and in-play.

I have just heard of this sport, for me this sport is very foreign because in my place the most popular sports are football and table tennis, I understand what you describe it seems that the game of handball is very interesting to play because it uses hands which are generally easy for anyone to try to play  the game of handball and far from being injured, is it really like that?

I have heard about this game and seen a few clips but never have actually watched the complete game. It looks interesting and we need more information related to it.

In what place/country is this most popular? Because I have just seen the highlight of the Olympics game. But is there a place where it's mostly played in a league and being broadcast on local television?
Like with Basketball, known places are Euroleague and NBA.
I kind of understand the rule from watching it but there might be others that should be checked out. Like fouls or technicalities. I saw a defensive player avoiding the offense when it flew in the air and in the stance of shooting. So they cannot hit them or block them while in the act of shooting?

That's funny, Handball was my first ever sport I played in a team. Most of my friends went with football, but I prefered to play something with my arms. In my hometown there was no real basketball team so the alternative was Handball. I played it for many years, but had some injuries in high-school and had to stop playing eventually. After that I never really went for another team sport. Sometimes I play football with friends, but that's only for fun, not competitive. These days the sports I play regularly is badminton and climbing. Both of them you only play with one partner and are not really popular in the betting community. I am glad that climbing is now an Olympic discipline, that should make it more popular long term. Another sport I still play actively is Esports.

Interesting game and thank you for sharing, I know that handball game exist but I am not really sure how it works and how it was played and now I do because of this topic though I am still unsure whether to place bet on it even though I know the mechanics it is still hard for me to analyze a match without background of the sports and the teams that is participating in that game.

The OP already knows that not all people are familiar with the handball sports, that's why he put a different title so that people can still place their comments on here if which sports got their interest. Football is more popular than handball because it's being played on many countries even the main sport on that country is different.

All sports have their own competitions but some sports are not that known so we think they don't have it but most competitions are cancelled right now due to the covid or also because of the wars. It's not enjoyable as before where you can watch live on the stadium but there might be other ways to show your support to your favourite team.

Considering the sports I started professionally was : Basketball.

And a lot more! I was a crazy child and sports did not just provide me a lot of adrenaline rush but I was quite good at it as a child. Alas ! Lol that's where my interest comes from and now it would be fairly sad to consider how due to studies and covid staying and home and doing the desk work is the big norm.
Handball is something that can be seen as a combination of basketball and football but way more fun ! I remember playing it as a child but we did loose the state nationals haha but OP the sports is fun ! Definately.

That's a fine game. I occasionally watch it when I have free time. It's not like how broad the rules are with basketball or football but it's a good physical game that requires a high amount of stamina. They keep moving and the ball cannot stay in one place.
But I like basketball more, it's the showing off the player skills that makes it wonderful. Crossovers, dunks, different lay ups, and the new era of three point shooting from almost halfcourt.

I don't know much about hand sports, because in the country I live there are still very few fans of hand sports, I prefer to bet on sports that I'm interested in, such as soccer, because I know performance and I know about betting on football games, tonight I will also bet for the game Chelsea vs real Madrid in the second leg of the champions league.

The game of handball might attract attention if there are many unique attractions to hit the opponent's goal but I don't fully know the rules of handball, whether with soccer rules or there are additional rules. In terms of standings, handball matches are more identical and look interesting to follow, I think to increase the popularity of handball matches, it should be promoted by many pro players and top world artists.

Handball..Interesting sport which I only got to know of because of gambling but it sometimes confuses me as its something similar to netball except it doesn't have a goalie and smaller goal net, all maybe too similar to waterpool except it's a game played in water which is the major difference.

Football is the only sport that is most interesting to me, in my opinion football is a sport that is most synonymous with teamwork, apart from being a fairly popular sport in the world, football is also a sport that has simpler rules and even among many existing sports nowadays, I think football is the easiest sport to play and even we can play it anywhere without having to have a special place like other sports.

Interesting recap, unfortunately it's very hard for new sports to break into the big league when there are already strongly established leagues that have generations of fans and huge infrastructure behind them. However if you enjoy the sport then keeping it small and local can be just as fun. I've gotten into "bouldering" or climbing without ropes at a low level, it takes a huge amount of strength and coordination to master some of the really difficult routes that can be laid out, but it's also an affordable hobby that even a solo enthusiast can pick up if you've got a decent facility nearby. It is a solid workout and you can really push your limits in each new session if there is enough variety in the difficulty levels.

It will not be a good start for casinos to add handball in their site since handball doesn't have a lot of media coverage so, most likely casinos that will add it are the local casinos but for other casinos then it will be a hard decision. Not that I am interested in basketball or football but I did watch matches of these sports when I don't have much to do so if I am going to bet on a sports then it will be those two sports I mentioned, again not that I am interested in it.

From the childhood I was much into badminton, volleyball and cricket. Badminton is being played in the early morning to avoid wind, as we play in the outdoor. In the school volleyball and cricket are being played. Cricket and volleyball are much commonly played in my country. Apart from this we play throw ball, but same as handball without a net. Here we throw over the players to make them out. Maybe this has got different name.

Interest will rise depends on what sports is so famous in your community and in my case in Philippines the famous sports is Basketball so this one influence me a lot that's why I mostly bet on Basketball whether its on regular season, playoffs or even with big games on finals. Also second famous in country is boxing so its not surprising for me to see fellow Filipino people place their bet on big events like fight of Pacquaio and other rising star since this is always highlight in the mainstream so overall this interest will always depends on what you see on national television.

Well this is right --it will depend on which country you are in so if your community has a sport of handball, then there is no reason you have an interest in it but in my country, only basketball is a very common sport that we enjoyed so that is we got interests. The adoption of the sport was based on the country where you live and also boxing here is the common sports that people love.

And there are things which would really be lots in terms of sport selection because we could really see lots of types of sports which are available or could really be played aside from being a national local kind of sports which

I am more interested in basketball and boxing, same as you. So when I bet, mostly in basketball. But from time to time, if I know the boxers involve, I also bet. You will be more confident to bet on a sports you are already familiar with because you are rooting for someone to win and you know their capabilities as athletes especially if you have been following that team or athlete for years and years. So that added excitement on my part. Each country has their own like national or favorite sports, so each one of us may vary with our choices.

There are so many types of sports that exist in this world, so depending on where we live, because our interest in sports is usually influenced
by the people around us. Because in my country the big fan base is football so I am influenced and love football until now. I not only enjoy

Hand ball was only popular in school during inter school sports Fiesta and players get cheered up for scoring in a small goal post. After school I've not seen people around my environment play this game. Volleyball is viral among youths and ladies in my city and I love playing Volley ball because of how organized it is when playing, and the risk of getting injured is lesser (compared to handball) unless the ball lands directly on a player's finger.

Am not that good in cricket games but I will rather play some football sport games since am still a novice is cricket games and going forward I will try to improve on cricket cause I have some spare time to do that.

There's this game that interests me and I think that some people are still unware of this sports and to let you know that there is already a league about it but I am not sure whether current crypto gambling site have this in their market. The game is called Cornhole and it was really a good and entertaining sports.

Handball is not popular here, although some schools use this sports for their students and there are competitions between each school. I like to watch football matches as football is one popular sport besides badminton, f1, motorsports, and basketball. If you talk in a cafe with your friends, there will be a discussion about the league, the players, the coaches, and else related to football.

There's a football and of course there should be a handball but unlike football it is not much popular as the football but that doesn't mean that it is not good as football I tried it when I visit in Europe and actually it is much fun when you are playing it rather than watching it.

I'm not familiar with Handball sport and this is my first time I encounter this game but from the word itself I am interested to get to know more about this game. So far, football and basketball are the sports that interests me most however there are some games or sports uniquely known here in my country which I bet many will not relate. I do also like badminton too, swimming and volleyball. Here in my country we are into volleyball and basketball which always a talk in town whenever there is a live sports event going to happen.

At present, the only means of entertainment for human beings is sport. Some like to play and some like to enjoy it. However, not everyone likes one particular game. As the game is different, so the fans are also different. I personally prefer cricket but football is also my favorite sport.

My favourite sport has got to be swimming. If I think about it, I love water sports and always have. When I was young, I could spend hours in the summer just jumping in and out of the water. Today it’s my main workout and supports my physical, emotional and mental health.

If I don't swim a couple times a week, I usually just feel off. Swimming also indirectly really helps my productivity at work. It’s a great way for me to keep my energy up and my mind shar. Also, it definitely helps with emotional stability when dealing with some of the workplace drama around me.

My favourite sport is biathlon. I love it for many reasons - watching it is usually very aesthetically fulfilling because the competitions take place in beautiful snowscapes, and the athleticism of the competitors is amazing - they spend so long skiing and then they have to have a steady enough hand to shoot at the target properly.

I prefer cricket and football.

i can clearly see why youre different from the rest of us newbies... the choice of sport that a person loves can relate to a persons ability to succeed in this forum. most of us love team sports like football, basketball etc but i believe if a person loves individual sports like tennis, badminton you must have mastered the art of staying consistent without needing any form of encouragement by so doing you have the qualities to thrive in this forum... psycologically

I really like playing this game (on my phone) and watching others play too. Funny enough, I have never played it before on the court.

I love table tennis. I remember playing it a lot in school. Now, it has been a couple of years. Looks like I need to go back into the game.

My favorite sport has got to be swimming but recently I have been doing alot of stair climbing.   I try to do 10 flights of stairs 3 or 4 time each work out session but never outwork myself.
Start with a slow climb to loosen up followed with a double step then a sprint and then again a slow climb to wind down.

I don't have much interest in sport like most people do. If it happens that I have to go watch a match (football precisely), it just happened, not that I really planned towards it.

One sport I like is Lawn Tennis though.
