Title: Why the price of Bitcoin still in such a state?
Post by: Blank-Head on April 15, 2022, 07:19:23 PM
Why is the price of Bitcoin going downhill? I kept saying for two or three months that the marketplace will be better by this time and the price of bitcoin will move forward. But my idea is wrong. Experienced people will share your opinion on why the price of Bitcoin is in such a state.

Why only see him in 3 months? If you look at February -> March -> April we still have an unbreakable support point. That means you are not paying close attention. bitcoin is still above $35K - $45K. Even March touched $47K as of the 28th. It is currently trading above $40K. It is possible that this month is the correction time after March. So don't get yourself excited about a temporary drop. If you trade futures, at least within 1 full month it is marked by an increase in March and you have sold. If not, then for April the upside potential is still below $45K.

Depends on your reasoning, but that short of a time frame already indicates to me that your speculation was without any sort of evidence, and therefore was just a shot in the dark. The thing is, even if there's a sort of trend going on with the price, the things that can happen around the world that can influence it are unpredictable, what you can probably accurately predict is Bitcoin will be going up in the long term. Three months isn't exactly long term in the grand scheme of things.

From my experience so far all I can say is that the crypto-currency market is volatile and not even Bitcoin is safe. And the best decision we can make right now is to keep on holding Bitcoin. I don’t think we have seen the last of Bitcoin just yet, take for example what it has done last year. I believe we would still see a major bull run soon.

We've been up for so long.

So the next thing to expect for it is to go down and have itself plummet. That's the usual thing that happens whenever bitcoin stays at the top price for so long.

Check out the news as they also have a connection sometimes to bitcoin's current market. Having its own nature of being volatile, if you're good at analysis, you'll figure it out.

No experienced person would tell you precise or 100% assurance on where price of bitcoin would be going and get used to it because this is how this market behaves or moves which you should accept it

out because none of us do really knows on what would be the future price looks like.It all matters with different factors but mainly speaking with demand and this is where it do really depends.
Dont anticipate much about price pumps or increase because t his wont really be a smooth sail ride that you are really expecting into.

Bitcoin is not the only asset that is under performing. Pretty much most tradable assets are trading this way. Only stocks I know which are near highs are Apple or Tesla. However most of the mid and large cap stocks are down 50% or so and they peaked right around the same time.

Why? There are too many issues right now

War
Inflation
Rate hikes

There might be a recession around the corner and stocks will go down due to poor earnings and crypto will follow.

Not sure where you get the idea that bitcoin will be better? I mean we have reach an all time high last November and after that, we retraced to lows of $30k'ish. If you haven't know by now, bitcoin works on cycle and it seems that we have entered a bearish trend since the start of the year. So it's better to really not to expect something big otherwise you might get frustrated. The best thing to do is to take advantage of the dip and accumulate.

You got a point here. Another thing to consider here is to consider such events, especially the Bitcoin block halvings, which is always showing that not the exact day Bitcoin will do a pump, but most of the time is months before, you can always check that on the past price of Bitcoin during bitcoin block halving.
Overall, pullbacks or correction is what we are experiencing right now.

I would say that you don't take into account the period we are in, so even though it's not a classic crypto winter like 2018, after all the excitement at the end of 2020 and during 2021, things had to slow down a bit. And if you take into account everything that @adaseb mentioned, then you should understand that at this moment it is not realistic to expect the price to be where you want it to be.

I understand that there are a lot of small investors asking themselves similar questions that most likely stem from the fact that you invested during the bull run expecting a profit of $100 000 which did not happen. This is nothing but a timing problem combined with FOMO that aimed too high and now results in a dose of impatience and disappointment. I don't see any big changes in the short term, and whether we will have to wait for the new big bull run until the next halving is a million-dollar question ;)

No one knows when bitcoin with pump or dump in the coming weeks and months. Usually when the majority of the people think that the bitcoin will move upwards it usually dumps.
The best you can do at this time is to stop looking at your portfolio and hold your bitcoins. Sooner or later the market will be in better conditions.

Yes, every now and then we will see the price going down or what we call pullbacks.
This is necessary so that the market can move on the next phase. Because the price can't go on parabolic rise. Talking about block halving, this is one catalyst for the next bull run, but the next one is going to happen in 2024 so that is a long way to go.

positive attitude about price is a natural thing....
and for the last 3 months until today we can see the outline between the strongest and weakest points which are difficult for bitcoin to break and between these points we can see that bitcoin is still in a correction condition for the next bull run of ATH edition which will not happen this year
maybe taking advantage of this condition for the short term is probably a good thing to do because until now bitcoin still hasn't touched $30k which might happen this year

When you are just new into this market then you would be always be having that positive perception towards market price and on the time that you had able to engage and gain experience
then you would really able to realize that this isnt how thing goes. You wont really be the same on having that positivity compared when you are just a noob since you would really get used
to decline and pumps of prices which is really very common and you would really get used to it and will really immediately be accepting on what would market conditions that you are
facing on.On the time that you had gained such mentality and behavior then it is sure that you are really doing well on this market.

No need to presume BTC is any more negative then you expected, what would be incorrect is the time frame of recovery you have in expectation.   Bitcoin is actually a far longer time frame commodity then most expect.   4 year cycle is known but also 200 week average is something reasonable to look at and no other asset is that quite as relevant.  Its surprising because BTC can move so fast but the waves and tides vary in their development and I think the whole of 2022 will be required for much of this price volume to be evened out.
Ultimately we are bullish but more patience is going to be required imo

well obviously on its situation we cannot really tell if it will moving forward despite of good news because surely it will continue trace the current trend in the market before making progress as its showing lower lows that seems a correction IMO.

I suggest try to look on the higher time frame, where in, for you to see how it really performed these days.

Many people are starting to consider that 2022 will be a repeat of 2018. Basically a slow grind down. And sometimes in the last quarter of the year a huge crash down to the $20K areas and more sideways action before bottoming and rallying up in the Spring.

I think if it does happen then the 200 WMA would be a great area for a Bitcoin long. Currently it’s at $20K and rises every week. When Bitcoin crashed in late 2018, it was this moving average that held support.

I'd say the main reason is confusion and lack of understanding [of bitcoin].

* Many have been speculating a "drop" for no reason other than saying "because it happened in 2018" while ignoring the percentage of rise that lead to 2018 and the fall. So obviously shorting bitcoin, selling bitcoin and not buying the dips or buying in general has been in most of their plans.

* Many people are brainwashed into thinking that for no reason at all bitcoin market has suddenly decided to have a correlation to other markets even though it never had it in the past decade! So when other markets crash (for weird reasons like a small conflict on the other side of the world) they panic sell their bitcoin too hence creating a fake sell pressure that keeps the price low.

Otherwise we have had many positive news regarding the adoption of bitcoin in different countries that there has been a massive increasing demand. By all logic and evidence price should have gone up if we didn't have the above 2 reasons...

do you know one thing we does not understand in cryptocurrency sphere, bitcoin price nobody predict it or regulate it, while the price is been remain fluctuating this period is depends on the gravitation or the gravity of the demands and supply in cryptocurrency marketcap, actually when the demand is higher than the supply the market will arise to an extent, but a situation the supply is at higher potential than the demands, is very obvious and comprehendable that the market will be sheltered and been downgraded, so many people has made predictions that will rise to certain point, but the summary depends on the levels of demands.

The Bitcoin price isn't determined by people's opinions and wishes. We are living in interesting times, where uncertainty and fear are dominating the markets.Nobody knows what will happen next week or next month.Making long term plans and predictions for several years ahead seems really difficult.
The Bitcoin price is in a pretty good place right now. There is volatility, but we shouldn't get depressed every time the price makes a 5-10% drop.

I agree that bitcoin is in a very good position and not in a bearish condition. don't measure it from the peak position of yesterday's price increase with the bitcoin price now of course the market is bearish but actually the bitcoin price is experiencing a normal price. bitcoin is still priced at $40k and has lasted a very long time, so predicting when bitcoin can go up and why bitcoin can go down is certainly difficult to predict with accuracy.

The market is in a good position. Maybe some big news could make an impact over the price of bitcoin. For now it has been moving within limits and people are much into panic thinking of drop in the price. Maybe if it breaks down to $38k we'll see $35k and if the price reaches the resistance barrier of $43k then the price will move to $45k easily. As of now the market isn't bearish and I consider this movement to be the common growth pattern.

It is your problem mate because you are the one kept saying that the market will be better but what are your basis?
before saying such word then you must have some graphs to show or at least other matter that will make the market grow, but if none? then best not to lure people believing in Lies .
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
the market is showing good now , thought here are slight dropping yet 40k is still on board proving how good the market staying still.
and maybe this will maintain this positioning for the whole 2nd quarter.

Bitcoin is still in Bullish trend mate but we don't know what will come any time soon because the price cannot sustain to stay at least in above 40k for the whole week meaning changes are coming any time that we are not expecting .

No matter what, I think you'll keep stacking. While others question why bitcoin has crashed, everyone shouts that it is dead while it is still trading under 40k and millionaires like Saylor are buying by the truckload. Bro, it'll climb back up just like it has, so I don't see it dropping much further, but let's hope it stays low for a little longer so we can get in while it's at a record low!

People recognize the long-term investment in stocks, but not in Bitcoin. Some people born used to complain, stop yourself from using other mouth speech and stop complaining.

How is it downhill if it didn't even hit less that $20k where the expectation are when it was at $9k or less.
Now that we saw it can hit $60k then we want more? Ain't that just greed?
We are lucky enough to see that it stays at this amount even at large amount of altcoins being created outside. Competition is a healthy way to know the strength of one asset but when it goes far like what is happening now it's bad for business. The value will decrease when they find better options and the same goes with the demand.

experience.....

why??
because I see many forum members who have been here for so long and have traded or long-term investments never asked about the decline in bitcoin maybe they will answer every time there is a question by giving positive arguments. this is because of mental and trading theory systems they are already strong so don't question the decline but take the best chance of market volatility

It's not in a bad state all things considered. We are facing high post covid inflation, a huge war in Europe, we might face energy shortages due to countries looking for new suppliers of natural gas and oil and global markets are reacting to the news. Bitcoin is acting much more stable this year compared to other bearish years. Go ahead and compare the last 4 months to the first 4 months of 2018 and you'll know what I'm talking about.

If you've been in this market for a long time, you should have realized how it works, it never just goes up, it goes down after it goes up a lot. you can notice that:

1 - when the price reached 10,000$ it dropped a lot to 3100$

2 - when the price reached 20,000$ it also dropped a lot

3- when the price reached 56000$ it later dropped a lot to 28000$

4 - when the price reached 68000$ it later dropped a lot to 34000$

but it always goes up again, the market will always go up a lot and then it will go down a lot.

Well, expect the unexpected since Bitcoin is always that way and no one can tell no matter what prediction they made. What we do is to expect more adoption of Bitcoin and large institutional investors should invest in but most of these bigger companies aren't into Bitcoin yet. If you are a trader it might be quiet hard to earn some profit with the market condition since just like what you said the market was always going up and down and there's no certainty that when is the next pump or maybe a new ATH but I have a feeling we are closing to the bear market yet.

Pretty sure you already have the answer to your question. Plus I think your time frame is a bit too small? Bitcoin didn't reach its current status in just a few months, look at it in the big picture instead of a small one and you'd honestly be able to see that 2-3 months is nothing. It's going downhill because of the small perspective you have, so honestly just keep calm and wait, we're going pretty steady atm which is a lot better than dropping down like a few months ago, and that would mean that the market is stabilizing. Now as to when it will pump no one really knows, but it might be better to wait in a time frame of 1-2 years instead of months.

Even a lot of experienced people must have failed in their own predictions. Nobody is experienced enough to be able to successfully predict what comes next in the price of Bitcoin all the time.

I cannot find a specific answer as to why the price is still not rallying toward $50,000 until now. I was expecting $50,000 even earlier. I don't know, perhaps there is a continuous sell off which somehow prevents the price from rising. Or perhaps many are already taking profit because they were able to buy back at around $32,000.

You are not allow to tell people about the market will go better when you know nothing about the currency you are referring .
and besides bitcoin is not going downhill instead it is now stable for a while, staying at 40k level in the last couple of days so why would you call this a downhill movement ?

and Bitcoin is still strong in this way , look at it now ? I believe that  we can see more of this situation for the whole 2022 and maybe there would be something we can expect better for the 2025 at least.

Even if we didn't see some great changes to the price which could make all people happy still we can say that we are in good position knowing that price of bitcoin stables at this current rate, maybe those changes we assume to happen will happen in future and I believe this bull run which people always discussing for is not gonna happen by this quarter or maybe on next since I think we can expect that to happen in next halving as history show this will always happen on this event.

In my opinion, the price of bitcoin stabilized after correcting a few weeks ago. However, as investors remain cautious, the price of bitcoin has fallen again in recent days, although the decline is in the $40k-$39k range. But no one knows for sure that the cryptocurrency and bitcoin markets are down. Perhaps one of the contributing factors is the increasing number of negative sentiments as well as the uncertainty of global macroeconomic conditions and the Russia-Ukraine geopolitical conflict that made traders nervous.

is there someone here that shouts Bitcoin is dead? Am not sure if there are any unless troll or those account that has been losing in their investments because of greediness.
Unfortunately there are too many accounts and people who keep on either trolling or maybe they are serious but keep saying that bitcoin will crash. They say this in a way like how they are "right" when it is going down, and they say it "just you wait!" type of way when it is going up. They have always failed, this is why I keep thinking that maybe they are trolls, but they are here and there.

Look at twitter, that is even worse, there are so many people who think they "mock" crypto while people make tens of thousands of profits, like more than their yearly salary, in a few weeks, only due to some good investments and they hate this fact and that is why they keep mocking and creating FUD.

Why is the price of Bitcoin going downhill? I kept saying for two or three months that the marketplace will be better by this time and the price of bitcoin will move forward. But my idea is wrong. Experienced people will share your opinion on why the price of Bitcoin is in such a state.
The market is like this because of the same reason as always, the supply and demand, the demand for bitcoin at the moment is weak and there is some sort of equilibrium with those that want to sell their coins, so there is not much of a reason for the price to go up.

Just accept the fact that your prediction was wrong and move on, maybe it will take a longer period of time for the price to go up or maybe the price will go down, but whatever the case make sure of taking advantage of whatever the market throws at you instead of sticking blindly to your predictions.

Negative sentiments are normal after those dumps happening and most of the investor are cautious about putting their money on bitcoins since there are some negatives thoughts rotating in the market. But once everything goes right we can see a major changes that might affect the bitcoins pump again. Also at the moment price of bitcoin seems in good state and might we can see some little pumps in next following days.

The Russian-Ukraine conflict is still at the background, so investors are going to be very reluctant and maybe they want some assurance first before investing again. And that's why it fit the pattern of a bear market this year, as the price goes down to $40,000 and there is the possibility that it can still go down if there will be another FUD or negative news. But then again, the uncertainty and geo-politics can be turn around by anti-bitcoin and use it to spread malicious news that will cause the market to decrease slowly.

They say that the correction is still not over and that can be the cause of the fall because there are no bad news that appeared lately except only from the positive one's. Not only you but most of us have also predicted that btc price will be better by the time we hit the month of April because during month of march, the price is already showing a sign of increase but unfortunately it didn't continue, I think what happen is just a trap and we all have been fooled.

A lot of us made a mistake by predicting btc's value so don't down yourself too much because we didn't even blame ourselves for what happened. For us this was just a normal thing.

No one can accurately tell why the price of bitcoin is falling. If we look at the bitcoin market in the last three years every April, Bitcoin prices are usually bullish. In the last few days the price of bitcoin has risen above the $40k area after dropping to the $39k resistance a few weeks ago. Therefore, I project the current upward trend to continue until the end of April and the Bitcoin price to potentially rise to $50k.

It's not that it's hard to tell where the price will be, it's a given fact. It's that want factors affecting the market to go on the downside. As I have said previously, we still have the war in the background that's why the price seems to be just above the $40,000 mark and there is a big selling pressure going on. Although this week seems to be a very positive for us, we just don't know what news will come out next that could either influence the price to go +/-.

Not that really much minding nor believing about fundamentals when it comes to Bitcoin price since we know that it could really make price go up and down without any reason behind and its been proven out after long

years of this market existence. We cant assure if we do able to withhold or not such support nor break resistance because everything would really vary with the demand and recognition.

Dont make yourself stress out on its movement because you are the ones who would really be putting up problems into yourself.

In my opinion, one of the factors that the crypto market is in the red zone is due to the ongoing geopolitical problems from major countries that have an effect on bitcoin and altcoin prices falling. In such situations, many investors choose other, less risky hedge assets to replace highly volatile cryptocurrencies.

This is true, there is no denying that but at the same time we are talking about things that could move according to the data given as well. This means that we need to learn to control our feelings and just focus on what the data tells us. Doesn't mean we will profit each time, doesn't mean that data will be right each time, but this still proves to us that we can't really be making any leeway based on our gut feeling or just patience.

If we say "god knows what will happen?" and just leave it at that, then how do we decide when to buy? We need to find some way to calculate it, it needs to be based on something otherwise it is just random purchases.

We don't. We leave it to... the calendar. Dollar cost average -- be it at the time you receive your salary, a time you decide to put away your disposable income, or a fixed day of each month -- takes away the guesswork and ensures you get an average price that's well below peaks (since Bitcoin spends the majority of its time between each ATH down rather than up).

Enjoy life, build a career, focus on what you're good at or passionate about. DCA man.

In such scenarios, the most effective quote that never fails to ease a worried mind is "when in doubt, zoom out." This quote can never be more accurate specially in this situation, because if you do zoom out, you will see that we are still not fcked. Not unless you are one of those people that fomoed into bitcoin when it was on its peak or those lev traders that also fomoed and does high lev trades with just about any hear says out there. But even when you bought on the peak, it isn't that much of a problem unless you encounter a time when you need the money you invested. Which is why it is always important to always invest amounts that you can easily afford to lose since you can easily wait the storm out or even DCA if you have extra idle funds.

There are basically two approaches to this, and as you may guess it is the main difference between traders and investors, investors just put their money on their selected assets whenever they have some money available, so basically the price is not a factor when it comes to investing their money in any market.

The second approach is the one used by the traders, even if they do not know what will exactly happen they can make guesses based on what the price has done in the past, meaning that if their observations of the market are correct then they should be able to increase their prediction ability, but only for a little bit, to the point they can make profits in the market.

It's true that we are facing this continued decline and is going to be in a bear trend soon but luckily most people didn't buy it yet that didn't create a FUD. It's time to make a choice already leave or HODL but don't start dumping or you might miss your chances once the price bounce back. If you have invested in Bitcoin it's guaranteed a good profit but in a long term only so HODL as much as you can.

This can be one of the reason aside from the fact that there is no big news to pump Bitcoin and its trend is still on the sideways. We might see more of this in the whole 2nd quarter if the problem continues to happen especially against the economy of other countries. Bitcoin will rise later on, we are still on a good price that can pump any time with just a single big news, so let’s all be patience for this.

You have probably heard or never heard about zooming out with the charts. That's all you've got to do when you're seeing a disappointment in the market.
The market has never disappointed me after it has past gone through $20k and it had never went down again below it. It's the expectation that everyone has grown despite it's fast growth and a correction for its slow growth back at the top again.

Sideways with even more sideways, dont be ungrateful or act bored as Bitcoin is far from negative in reality.

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/06/12/AsDKD.png

Heres the actions for the last few days, its really not doing much.   We've attempted up and checked prices downwards but mostly we keep on pressing on in a similar pricing to what was the prior day or week or if you consider the last year most months are similar pricing.  I consider us to be positive in a holding pattern after breaking the prior multi year price range, it might be boring but this is an elevated price compared to a few years ago.
Your conclusion should be BTC is positive while the world and most assets have a default negative bias, its actually doing very well overall so I dont mind the wait [think of it as a train, we stop so people can get on/off, is that a bad thing not really].   Stay positive in your outlook is the best advice.

I was also quite surprised that instead of knocking on $50,000's door, the price cannot even keep its grip on $40,000. But I think everything is just purely on the side of speculation and investment. Others must have made profit when Bitcoin's price was down so they sold instead of bought. Others might be affected by the negative outlook of the global economy with the war and the high inflation and the pandemic. But in terms of fundamentals, Bitcoin is unaffected. It remains to be the Bitcoin that provides freedom. So there's no worries.

With what's been going on with the price of bitcoin in the past few weeks, we can already say that we have already been in the bearish market since the start of this year. TBH, lots of people that are pretty meticulous about their investments have already taken profits as early as November last year and may have already rebought on the few times that bitcoin has plunged quite deep. But most that have done these are those long term holders. The leverage traders though, are the ones who have a hard time speculating where the price is really heading. Despite this though, traders still earn a considerable amount in swinging and scalping on shorter timeframes.

No one can accurately tell why the price of bitcoin is falling.
there is no accurate , but at least we can bring small prediction that may bring close outcome .
Quote

If we look at the bitcoin market in the last three years every April, Bitcoin prices are usually bullish. In the last few days the price of bitcoin has risen above the $40k area after dropping to the $39k resistance a few weeks ago. Therefore, I project the current upward trend to continue until the end of April and the Bitcoin price to potentially rise to $50k.
Lol every April? and and what will come in May and June?

but lets say there is an increase every April , what would be beneficial for all? isn't October to December is the increasing Months?

I may support that there are Month that increasing and there are Month of decreasing but remember that this is depend in Supply and Demand .

The unique thing is that when the price is below $40k, the transaction volume is large, up to more than 20% in a few days, there are 2 opportunities, namely investors panic because they are afraid that prices will continue to fall and vice versa, investors wait for the moment to buy and in my opinion, the dominant one is more many are buying because shortly after being under $39k they are now approaching $41k.

Bitcoin price keeps staying this level when there are so many good news happening now.

Maybe this is what the market needs to prove and we as investors need to support .

Well, I can accurately tell why Bitcoin price is declining.
Simply because there were more sold Bitcoin than bought.
That's actually how we come up with Btc's price. That's basically based on the demand.
The only thing that nobody can accurately tell is the reason why there is a massive sold out in the market, and that's where all kind of analysis will come in.

I don't want to be optimistic and I'm not expecting anything bullish this year. I would allow the market to consolidate to give an opportunity for the investors to accumulate for the next bullish season.

It is not that investors are afraid to lose instead they Knew that this is how the market moves , the people needs to get their profit from their early investments .
and also they are aware that the market will rise and fall so they buy low and sell high.
and besides why much concern when we are in Holding? as we can keep it long until recovered .

Get used to it because the price had always been like this on which it could be moving sideways or on accumulation phase which it is something that not new into this market.
We cant really see a market to have continuous price increase and we know it could be composed of bearish or bullish movement where you would really begetting used to

I see the Bitcoin price struggling to break upwards because of all the bad news, bad news about the Russia-Ukraine war, FUD about Blockchain, countries who go against Bitcoin, countries that fail to keep promises regarding Bitcoin and overall the greed of said countries for more and more regulation.

So basically the price has been going up despite all the bad news. It has been struggling to break through to a new price level though, but thats to be expected when Bitcoin is going up and the Bitcoin price is being driven down at the same time by FUD and bad news.

Once the news grows old, the price will be free to head towards new levels again. 100k Can't wait.

Only people who are experienced in the crypto world understand how Bitcoin moves, or if we study Bitcoin properly it can also provide information
to us as to what Bitcoin's movement is like. Because the movement of Bitcoin is based on supply and demand, it is not surprising that the price is
very volatile and difficult to predict. Like when the year 2021 unexpectedly the price of Bitcoin could rise very high, but the problem is that
we cannot expect the price of Bitcoin to continue to rise, because the price of Bitcoin will also fall. It turns out that entering 2022 the price of
Bitcoin slowly decreases, until now the movement of Bitcoin looks sideways. What really matters is how we take a stand to see the movement of Bitcoin,
so it's not new if we look at Bitcoin sideways, decreased or increased. We just need to get used to how Bitcoin works, then automatically we will
understand what steps we should take.

Well we have seen the impact of Covid-19 already on the market. The thing is that we have bounce back from that, specially that it coincides with the Bitcoin catalyst for a bull run which is the halvening.

Now, it's the geo-politics that is affecting the price, nevertheless we are still above the threshold of a bearish trend. So I will say that we are still doing good at $40,000.

At times it does matter, maybe not this time but there are periods when it matters. For example when the price hit 64k for the first time in April of 2021, china "banned" crypto again, which they did a million times but they just ban a niche part of it each time, this one was mining I suppose, and Elon said he will not hold bitcoin anymore, or buy, or accept bitcoin payments for tesla something like that right around the same time as well, a few other minor things happened in bear move as well.

So all in all, that mattered because it looked like a coordinated attack. When those type of falls happen, it is dangerous to us all, but these ones we are seeing today? That's nothing, no bad news at all.

Lol, You should acknowledge that the reaction and price action of bitcoin depends on demand, market impact.  Anyone can make a true/false statement within the sphere of influence that natural value can form.  Bitcoin has an internal force that can change its price, adjusting based on fast or slow market factors.  That's what the volatile nature of the market makes, believe in the long term, and corrections are temporary.

As long as bitcoin continues to stay at 40k in current geopolitics, it is also a success.

After the covid pandemic has devastated a lot of the economy, now war and rising inflation are slowing down the world's development so don't expect too much in a year full of ups and downs.

We also had a very good year of growth last year and most profitable for investors, this year will be a year of accumulation rather than growth.

Why is the price of Bitcoin going downhill? I kept saying for two or three months that the marketplace will be better by this time and the price of bitcoin will move forward. But my idea is wrong. Experienced people will share your opinion on why the price of Bitcoin is in such a state.
Does it matter? What I mean by this is that some people care a lot about why something is happening at the market when the most important thing is what is happening at the market, it may seem a very slight difference but it is not, if the price of bitcoin is going down it is simply because the ones invested in bitcoin have decided as a group that is going to be the case, so what maters is what are you going to do about it and how do you take advantage of the situation.

Which is exactly why it matters because if you do not understand what's going on you will most likely get rekt. Main reason why lots of people lose out on good gains and loses money instead is because they hardly have any idea what's going on and how things are connected with each other. Those people who only follow or rely on signals for their investments will mostly get rekt as well since when fast market movements happen they cannot react as fast as they should since they do not understand what they are doing and are just waiting for what other signal is next or waiting for the prediction to actually happen when in reality it may not anymore since some change has happened again in the market. Knowledge and the ability to apply that acquired knowledge in whichever suitable scenario is very vital for us crypto enthusiasts since we are in a type of market that is overly volatile.

This is actually how the market works for any coin, bitcoin is no exception.
there are even other factors that cause bitcoin to continue to be suppressed, so that there is a decrease in buying and selling prices, the utility of demand and spending is one of the reasons why bitcoin declines, although there are other things that affect

Most predictions are wrong, that was the reality, and why? We can't simply see what is coming because of the volatile nature of the market. I thought also that the market move forward as it has been too positive at the start of this year however, the momentum began to change as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine begins. The declining trend seems to continue deeper at this time, I think we even reach close to $30k but of course, this will never stay like this for a long-time, we expect recovery by then.

Crypto is volatile, anything can happen good or bad. I pray it comes out good. 8)
You can pray but you must also do an action , because from there you can contribute to the increase and that will bring Good outcome . for more than 5 months now that we are experiencing a fall from the ATH back in November last year , so we are still hoping that there will be something best to come at least before the end of this year.

With what we are experiencing in the market this is the nature of bitcoin (volatility) , the best option for me is to keep on holding. I Have come across market value like this , with my experience it's for me to patiently hodl because the value of bitcoin will definitely increase unknowingly to anyone.

Something like that can be solved incredibly easy by just having a stop loss, the level of which you decide by using indicators which have nothing to do with the news, and even if you knew what is happening outside the charts if you have a successful strategy then you need to let the price to hit your stop loss and take you out of your position, so nothing changed, which is why I do not think it is important precisely because if there is an important enough news then it would be reflected in the charts sooner or later anyway.

People should really be realizing this thing on the first place or on the time that they had set their foot that they would be mainly dealing with volatility and different market conditions
on which it would neither be too moving or on a sideways movement or bearish or decreasing behavior and vice versa. If you dont prepare yourself on something like this
then you would really be ending up on freaking out and boggling up your mind on whats the thing happening in the market which majority do knows
that it was just a normal stuff.

^ No, you are not wrong, you are on the right path just keep believing in it.
Dont look at the market daily or weekly, this will make you confused about the price. Keep your BTC in a safe place and come back after a year which is for sure BTC will fully grow. It is normal that the price of BTC will fluctuate because of its volatile nature that BTC has. So you don't need to worry if you can patiently wait. There will be a price waiting ahead for those people who can patiently wait.

War would be a good reason, we're just a few moments away from accidental or purposeful attack vs NATO.   Putins actions are pretty dull lately its hard to tell if he has some personal problem perhaps.  Even if he lost this latest war its a bad trend, even if he stepped down its dangerous instability in a nuclear power and this is not when markets do well vs fear.   BTC is a market asset now subject to wider concerns.
Its easily enough reason to spike tensions, markets retract, dollar spikes and the price of a great many things can suffer.   At the same time we have rising costs from the tail end of a global health crisis that killed more then in generations, you cant make stuff up happening in this sequential way would be enough to cause the great depression again; theres no question BTC does very well despite the headwinds from hell.

If you cannot keep the price of Bitcoin then best to HODL for long or never invest at all , because though this is the safest currency in all crypto yet this is the most volatile and most Slow mover.
The common investor of Bitcoin are those who wanted to keep their coins in longer chances than taking their income shortwhile .

Without a doubt the conditions are not optimal for the growth of bitcoin, and not only that now we are seeing a PR camping against bitcoin and POW and unlike the attempts of governments to try to scare people away by claiming that bitcoin was only used by criminals and people with bad intentions it seems the current strategy is resonating more with the average person, so when we take everything into account then it is natural that bitcoin is not behaving very positively as of late.

Just simply hold if you do make yourself get confused on whats happening in the market. Most likely newbies would really be having those mind boggling moment on what the heck is happening in the

market..Why it hasnt moved for long time? Why it do moves that much(increase/drops).? You would really be having these common questions in mind.
If you arent that careful or mindful about your actions then it would result into mistakes. So its better to have that hodling option instead.

Bitcoin price movements are very volatile, it is very difficult to predict where Bitcoin will move and it definitely makes us confused. Whereas
previously the price of Bitcoin dropped to the price of $37k and many predicted the price of Bitcoin would continue to fall even lower.
It turns out that the reality is different, because now Bitcoin is surprisingly back up to the price of $ 39k, so it is too difficult to predict
the price of Bitcoin. Instead of being confused by Bitcoin price movements, we better just focus on holding Bitcoin until our selling target is
achieved. If we really have capital, there is nothing wrong with every time the price of Bitcoin drops we can buy more Bitcoin, because after all
Bitcoin will never disappoint us if we are able to be patient holding the Bitcoin we have. It is true that holding Bitcoin will prevent us from making
wrong decisions, and of course holding Bitcoin makes our chances of making a profit even bigger.

Stop losses do reduce losses but in some scenarios where a signal has been given(with a limit order, take profit zones and stop losses zones) and the price does not reach the take profit zone then drops to the stop loss zone, the profit that could have been raked in is now turned into a loss. All due to not knowing a at least basic knowledge about the market. Mind you, I was talking about people who barely has knowledge about the market and relies alone on signals. This includes most basic indicators let alone trading plans nor portfolio plans.

But let me indulge you on that thought you had about "news being precisely insignificant since it would just reflect on charts sooner or later" brother. Seeing your rank I must assume that you have been in this industry for quite a long time already and may have tons of experiences in both investing and trading. Now, would you not agree if I say that the educated guesses we make with the help of some indicators do not go the way we thought it would in some cases? This is most probably the reason why some traders use tons of indicators and wait for several confirmations before entering trades. But even then some still suffer defeats on some trades because some big news has happened or some influential person made a negative or positive statement in relevance to cryptos.

My main point about this is that while technical analysis can give us an edge, without awareness about news or macro economical issues that take place, we cannot make a better trading plan. This is mainly because we are waiting for the indicators on the charts to show us a direction where the price is heading which may be too late to react upon considering how fast the crypto market moves sometimes. Resulting into half assed plans the turn into bad decisions. I hope this makes what I was saying prior to your response a bit clearer for you now brother.

People who barely know how to read signals should not be using any stop loss or any other method and should stay away as further as possible for the time being. Market is already losing blood and it is basically just a situation where even veterans are leaving and not trading like crazy right now, and that means that if we could stay away from it as long as possible until it gets better than it is better.

If we learn about signals and be great at finding where to buy, then even the signal could come to be a wrong one, because market could move hectically without caring about the indicators. So, it is best to stay away for the time being.

I definitely agree with you. In times of uncertainty, the best decision would be to take a break from doing leveraged trades. It would be better if people just pick a few good altcoins in their eyes then buy little by little on spot as the market drops even further. The problem is that most newbies are very stubborn and that most of the people who give out signals only care about their community population which is why they still risk giving signals despite the risks. Still it would be nice if the people following such signals would strictly follow the instructions and not over leverage or go all in on every signal given.  Oh well, it is what it is, best teacher is experience so better let them experience now than later.
