Title: CRYPTO-CURRENCY TAX IN THE UNITED KINGDOM - VOLUNTARY DISCLOSURE
Post by: QUESTIONMAN2022 on April 22, 2022, 01:56:23 PM
Hi all,

Please, who has experience with the HMRC VOLUNTARY DISCLOSURE service, offered by HMRC (UK) that allows UK tax payers to voluntarily come forward, to pay taxes that they owe?

How did you go about it?

What forms did you submit for Crypto-currency Tax (Capital Gains Tax)?

No personal experience but it looks like everything is listed here - How to make a voluntary disclosure to HMRC (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/hmrc-your-guide-to-making-a-disclosure/your-guide-to-making-a-disclosure)

If you find some parts of the guide still confusing, you can contact them directly.
