If those wallet files were real, they would have never sold them.

Every single case you see on the internet is either malware that is intended to steal your coins or is simply an empty wallet file manually modified to look like it contains keys to popular addresses with large balances.

Are you related to Great atomGs (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3459833) who claimed to have a private key to 12ib7dApVFvg82TXKycWBNpN8kFyiAN1dr  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391080.msg59620025#msg59620025) but out of kindness, he hasn't spent anything on the wallet address, he didn't just prove everyone right, he wasn't able to sign an ordinary message for the forum members to verify, you guys are really too dumb to think that bitcointalk is a place to used others intelligence to catch fun.
You were able to easily secure a password for your wallet but lack the wisdom to back up your private keys, that's so cool of you and the lies. Try other lies.

Fortunately for us, every post is archived; This is what you said at first before editing the post

https://i.imgur.com/B1tTZ4G.png

In 2014, Bitcoin's average price was $300-$400, sometime it even reached $700- $800

Let's say we consider the lower price $300, are you trying to say you sold the laptop at a flea market with (19,400 X 300) = $5,820,000 worth of BTC in it?

Nice catch Arena. I am out of sMerits. i will add your comment to my queue of posts most worthing merits.
It is really foolish to think that a person in a certain period of time, regardless of the circumstances, would sell something similar no matter how stupid it is.

when I bought my first bitcoins was on the bitcoin market the price was not 1000$ but 100$ I received for 19400 btc but I don't know who sent me 14.35 btc in 2013
This is even a more ridiculous possibility than the idea that you sold your laptop with an entire Bitcoin stash in them and completely forgot about Bitcoin until you saw a site that sells wallet.dat files.

You are still talking despite you have been caught in your web of lies? You and your alts account think you can come to this forum to lie and get away with it?
The probability that you are not the owner of the btc is way higher than you claiming to be the owner. Only a dumb person will sell a laptop with 19,400 btc in it. Maybe you should go and trace the buyer of your old laptop.  :D

I'm not sure if OP is legit or not, but in case that someone is looking for a wallet.dat file there are some threads on this forum and some services that allow you to buy those files:

Topic: Don't buy "wallet.dat" files with lost passwords. EXCHANGE THEM!
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5242967.0

and  https://allprivatekeys.com/wallet.dat

I already search there the address 1PeizMg76Cf96nUQrYg8xuoZWLQozU5zGW but looks like no one has that file.

So you bought $1.9 million worth of BTC and you didn't make any back-up and still with that sum and by 2014 with also with a minimum profit of another 4 million depending on the day of 2014 you did this, you sold your laptop on the flea market!

Do you realize how ridiculous that is?

I had forgotten to save my data on a key when I sold my computer in 2014 it was a powerful laptop a toshiba satelite we could also watch 3D movies with glasses on this computer

And even more ridiculous to brag about a $4000 laptop after you've just claimed you spend 2 million buying coins.

Now seriously, to all the others, what's the hidden scam here, as I'm not sure how he plans to scam someone like this, my bet is on trolling, right?

during the period from 2012 to 2016 I went through a difficult period in my life and I forgot that I had bought bitcoin it was since the year 2021 that I remembered everything and I do my better to recover my bitcoins

Don't judge a person without knowing their story first.
You went through a difficult period in your life but so some reason forgot that you have over $6M worth inside your laptop,  and just sold it for just maybe around 1,000 dollars to save you out of the bad situation you were in (the motive behind selling a laptop in a flea market is obviously money)... really?

How messed up you must have been?  :o

there is one person on this forum who can prove my story to be true because he was next to me when i bought his bitcoins in 2010 and if i hadn't met him i would never have been able to buy bitcoins

Your story is so unique that sometimes people wonder if it's true or just a fiction.
But if it's true as in the story then now you are no longer a difficult person but a successful person right.
Because in 2010 the price of bitcoin was not as expensive as it is now so how many million $ is yours now.

Then may be you should tell the person to come and speak on your behalf if he/she is still active in the forum, as it is, nobody believe your story. Even i find it hard to believe that someone will forget about an asset worth over a million dollar. i don't know what kind of hardship you went through but i believe when someone is going through financial hardship that's when their brain becomes aware of what they own. Or you suffer a memory loss withing that period that prevent you from remembering. Whatever was the situation i wish you success in your quest if actually you are truthful.

If this claim is true (of course this is from our perspective and not yours) then how you'd be so sure if the one who bought your laptop is still living or the laptop itself is still usable? Too hard to move on if you're hoping but if the buyer isn't anymore as well in this forum who recovered that wallet.dat file on his own then your chance of getting it is slim. Price of Bitcoin has gone parabolic and I doubt if the buyer will return it on you again, 90% chance you won't get it.

Hopefully, you can meet that person so you can clarify that your story is right and there is no doubt between us.
Do you already contact the person?
It is an interesting story that you have 19,400 BTC in 2010 and if this is a true story, it will become a phenomenal story among bitcoiners.

Like what most have mentioned, if those wallets are indeed true, then the owners would never sell them- I mean 19,400 BTC would equate to around $700 million dollars which would turn any person into a millionaire by seconds. If I were you, avoid dealing with these people and their shenanigans. Most likely like around 99% these kinds of deals would result to a scam.

Again, these kinds of deals should be avoided at once. I highly recommend that you report this website in the forum so that people would be notified at once. There is always that slight possibility that someone would fall into this trap.

Good digging out there, you have managed to bust the guy out. What on earth is his purpose lying to us in this case? Can he gain something out of this? What is it that he is trying to accomplish? Those BTC are huge and should prove that he is the real owner somehow.

I remembered this address because of the time when I had this purchase, it was within 2 pm

I can't understand the concept.
it was 2 PM and you remember exactly an alpha numeric code of something that you really didn't give a damn about (since you lost it without even backing up your private key?)
do you remember the address but not to make a back up? or to don't sell your laptop? ( maybe selling a portion of those bitcoins prevented you from this laptop sale...) mmm  ::)

there is another person holding my wallet this is my ex girlfriend who i broke up with because i made a backup and i gave her 2011 and she doesn't have the password
I contacted her she ignored my messages for over a year
the solution for me is to return to my country to settle this story face to face
so there are 2 people who have this file
one with my ex girlfriend and the other with the one who bought my computer and I'm the only one who has the password
because I didn't save the password in the computer but I saved it in my head

In that case, you should do whatever it takes to win back your ex girl friend, if you really know what the 19,400 btc can do in your life (or both of your lives) you should work hard to get her to forgive you. if she still has the p/keys this is the easiest way to solve your problem, travel to her wherever she is and reconcile, am sure if she knew you are now a millionaire she will forgive you in a heartbeat ;D
Although I still find it odd you gave your ex gf the backup of the seed phrase and you don't have it yourself. Why would you do something like that? obviously you knew the p/keys was important that's why you made a backup but as clever as you are, you fail to have it yourself.

Good find! Hehe and besides who will sold his laptop on a flea market while he is holding huge amount of Bitcoin that time. He doesn’t need to sold anything if you have more than a million dollar on your crypto asset. And I doubt someone holding the .dat file of the wallet address will give it to him by just knowing he knew the password. It will just makes thing hard for the OP to get it because the value it contains is worth a fortune if someone manage to brute force the password.

if I look at the chronology of your writing, it looks like you have lost your wallet.dat file. what causes the wallet.dat file to not be with you? you lost your wallet.dat file in 2010 where maybe the price of bitcoin at that time was not worth it at all, because bitcoin was only worth in july 2010 at a price of $ 0.09. so that at that time you didn't really keep your wallet.dat file, because it wasn't valuable at all and now you just realized that bitcoin is very high in price.

is it possible that your laptop has been thrown away or maybe lost? now you are looking for it. but the value you offer is not only 1 bitcoin from what you have.
it is certain that those who have your wallet.dat file will not want to give other than the amount that should be given 50:50.
Hopefully what you are looking for can be given back with a fair portion of the prize, of course.

That must be one he'll of an interesting sale of a laptop on a flea market. Such an entrepreneur you are @OP. I wonder exactly how much you must have sold the laptop for and what pressing need or irritation can result in conceiving such an irrational idea. Perhaps, the price was like Elon Musks buying of twitter... To say the least, OP, your claims points to the fact that, your some user that have been involved in crypto from 2010 (right from its genesis phase) and getting to sell your laptop containing over BTC19,400 in 2014 means, your over 3-4years experience in crypto and as such, should be fully aware of the value of this commodity.

Just how would it be that, you still went ahead to sell! That's in the event that we take your story seriously anyway! Lost and gone!

I really do not understand why people waste their time chasing uncatchable dreams. If something is too good to be true, then it most likely is.

Do not download any suspicious data, especially if it is promising you some sort of reward or similiar things.

I had the same thing back in the day, it was with my old laptop that broke, but thankfully I didn't had much in it, it wasn't even bitcoin, it was litecoin and had like some faucet money in it so I am not worried about it, at max that's like maybe 1 litecoin that is gone, probably not as much.

But, I learned my lessons there, and got away cheap from it, if you are using your laptop or computer or whatever to do something like this, and store it there, then you need to back it up to somewhere, I do not know where you should do that but I know that you should do it for sure. This would allow people to have few places and if one goes, then the other still would work.

He is currently looking for the owner of the wallet.dat account dated 2010. And if someone finds him there with the address given by him, he will reward him.and He have absolutely his 2010 account password. Due to which he can still use the old account.

We shouldn't be move by mere tricks in the market, some are designed to deceived traders into giving out access of their accounts while some will make jokingly results of you. Unimaginably because bitcoin can't be free, not that large quantities. I would advised to leave anything that you don't understand and focused on a more legit way to make significant earnings from bitcoin, either through trading or investing to get more. You're 100% correct, no one will give you bitcoin for free, rather it's definitely you're going to work for it before you earn it, there's no free bitcoin elsewhere.

Hugest miracle is you breathing, do not underestimate the miracles around you. The OP is either dead or is trying to find the wallet, both are unlikely, he probably found a password from a hash and he thinks it's the password for that wallet.

If by any chance someone really lost that wallet, I am willing to help recovering it for 10% finders fee.😉

Someone is trying to lie here  :D

Fortunately for us, every post is archived; This is what you said at first before editing the post

In 2014, Bitcoin's average price was $300-$400, sometime it even reached $700- $800

Let's say we consider the lower price $300, are you trying to say you sold the laptop at a flea market with (19,400 X 300) = $5,820,000 worth of BTC in it?

Nice catch and good logic !!

But how did you find it ? I mean how do we find out earlier versions of a post and where are the archives stored?
If possible could you please send me the link or any reference on how its done.

@Bitcoin Arena, you did a great job showing the OP's true face. He must have cheated many innocent people who dreamt of getting rich quickly. It's surprising how people can make up such stories to deceive those who don't know much about cryptocurrencies. We must educate those innocent people about such scams so that they can be protected from scammers like this.

I have that wallet here I bought it for fun just to see what it looked like, opened it in Notepad and it's "something" LOL,just all jibberish and I didn't go any further with as it's probably a fake anyway,it was cheap so I just bought it out of curiuosity and I didn't waste my time trying to load it up to bicoin core, thought it was interesting story here and could be true,19400 bitcoins when the wallet was made were $1000 dollars, almost $1000 to the penny that day,who knows,we will never know.I played with these wallets during covid lock up for something to do,ALL were fake when bought on the internet, there are no real ones out there, maybe there was years ago but not anymore.
Op went back to his country, and judging by no movement of that address, he probably arrived at the scene of someone jumping on the ex, and they probably fought and he probably died and took the password with him to the afterlife, well lets hope that he can spend the coins for some virgins in heaven, if they accept bitcoins there though.🤣  lol.
lol i'm still alive i'm surprised that a person or people can find my wallet in such a short time
now i just have to move the btc after i get the file and then i can turn the page and end this story

No such thing ever existed in cryptic space, if you somehow lost your recovery seed or private key there is no way you will get it back, and if anyone come into your DM as say they can help you get it back its probably another scamming attempt on you.

A website that sells wallet.dat have some ill intentions at hand, do not trust them that easily, they claim they are selling wallet.dat, that has Bitcoin in them, an asset that's over a 25k right now, why not take the Bitcoin for themselves?

The thing is, they are ready to sell you the wallet day in a .Rar or . Zip file extension format, guess what? They are infected with malware and trojans that will spy on you or probably tale over your PC without you knowing what you are up against, you will be robbed twice in a roll.

First, you paid for the wallet.dat, and secondly, they now have access to your PC.
