I will probably get one of those :)

if there is interest, I could set up a generic jmbullion group buy thread and everyone could give me their list of "wanted" items from the site and I could do one large order for it all.

is there interest in doing this?

the hard part is how long to make it so that the items are not out of stock by the time the group buy ends

A half pound bar of copper as a collectible?  WTF?  Has inflation really gotten this bad?  I guess maybe someone might want one of these for a collector's item, but I can't figure out why.  The last thing I'd want is to have to lug this thing around with my possessions or store it for all eternity.  I guess maybe this is the sort of post that won't age well when hyperinflation hits, but I think at some point people need to have the value talk with themselves.  Will this really have value in the future because it has a logo stamped onto it?  I'm guessing most of these things will end up as paperweights or as a reminder to not shop online when you've been taking medication.

Without knowing the price of that item in particular, I would say that I buy things like that - for young relatives - nieces, nephews, ect. - to have for examples of say elemental Cu.  The markings are of value - to them - because it may align with something they know.  If I had that piece, I would gift it to my 6 yo nephew as an example of Cu, to get a feel for the density, to serve as a basis for inquiry and so on.

not shop online when you've been taking medication

But that is such a true statement, love it!
