Can it really be a source of income? Or will it just suck me in and bring only problems in the future? Has anyone already tried earning in this way? What can you tell?

I want to request you not to take gambling to make money. Take gambling as fun. There are many other ways to earn from the internet. Affiliate marketing is one of them. Try searching on youtube for more information about affiliate marketing.

I personally don't do it, since I find all bookmakers to be shady. Some are owned by the same corp, doing business under different names. So they will get to know if you do arb on their subsidiaries and will ban you by throwing some absurd term from their rulebook.

Do it, but be cautious. Again, it's not illegal but books hate it for obvious reasons(like when they are owned by the same entity).
