Maybe you are right, but not completely right. Because the market is volatile, you can't just rely on waiting speculation. If you have missed the train then you say: why not buy at the bearish yesterday?. Therefore, in every decline, there is always a buy, no matter whether it will go deeper or it will bounce back unexpectedly. Every analysis will always be broken by a relatively running market according to its will.

I don't know if this is coming to an end or not, but I know one thing for sure, if you are getting an opportunity to buy BTC at half the price of it's all time high, and that also in when it has fallen so steeply this definitely is a time to buy it, I would suggest you to atleast buy one big chunk here and then wait for the market to react after this, if it goes down buy another chunk to dollar cost average yourself and if it flies from here itself then consider yourself lucky and enjoy the profits that you are making, but yes this is the time when everyone is selling so if you have free capital you definitely should buy at this moment.

I may sound as though I am another guy who is buying Bitcoins with the thought to make a few bucks but I'm not. I am buying some because I think it's a good idea. I like Bitcoin because it enables you to send money around the world with almost zero transaction costs and it lets you exchange value instantly between two peers. Sounds like a good thing to have.

I also like to think of it as a form of saving. A lot of people have different reasons for buying Bitcoins but I'd say most people buy because they think that it will keep increasing in value. Some people use it for investments. I have no idea how Bitcoin's future will turn out but the fact that people are willing to bet so much money on it means that it could become an incredibly powerful store of value in the future. Maybe in 10 years' time I’ll be kicking myself for not getting into it even more. For now though I'm just buying as much as I can and hoping for the best.

The truth is people become worried during a bear market to buy Bitcoin. They think it would dump more and wait. So in the end, they start buying when they see a green candle. That's how we miss the opportunity to accumulate some sat. I know it's a good time to accumulate Bitcoin, but I don't expect more dump at all. But still, we don't know what will happen. Making comparison of the all time high price of bitcoin along with it's present price, this is a good opportunity to enter the market. The ongoing market drop is connected to the outflow of bitcoin from the Terra foundation.

Terra planned to back its stablecoins with bitcoin and for the same it bought huge volume of bitcoins. So, there is more chances of market getting recovered at the earliest. The bear market probably isn’t coming to an end, OP. They usually last a year or two. The current one is only 5 or so months long. We will possibly go down more, it is a good time to buy though. We are 50% down from the all time high so yes buying now is good.

I agree with you. Because there are miners and whales, if they started to sell, then it might be going down again. But we have to remember one point, brother, that this is crypto and we are with bitcoin only dependent on our hope. because we already know that bitcoin's price is unpredictable. I thought we might see a little more dump. because bitcoin was at a stable point for some days. Now maybe we saw a little more than that. Then the bullish market can be started. We'll always say the same thing about buying bitcoin. It's all about the decision of being long term on it and each dip is going to be a good opportunity.
We may not know that this dip could be the lowest or there will be another one that's going to be a lower price. But as you buy, make sure that you're decided and whether it goes low after buying, you have some spare money prepared to buy again.

Some thread[1] discussion stated that Bitcoin might fall below $30k this year so buying at the current price isn't the best time if that prediction comes true.  The current price is indeed a good entry point since the ATH price but I think we shouldn't consider to all-in our investment fund but rather do an accumulation in every lower low to maximize the profit.


I highly agree, so buying in accumulation in this bear market is very much preferred over one-time buying.

Why are you announcing that bear market is about to end, if it hasn't been even one full year since the ATH/top of the bull cycle? There's still a lot of time till a new bull cycle starts, if the previous pattern holds true. And halvening will only happen in 2 years, and it usually takes a bit more time after the halvening for a new bull run to start.

It's true that bear market is a good time to buy, but it doesn't mean that now is the perfect time, although remember that perfect shouldn't be an enemy of good.

Bitcoin is designed so that in the long term it will be way more valuable than the current value.

And since short term movements in the price of Bitcoin cannot be predicted, I would say DCA is the best way to obtain more and more Bitcoin along the years.

It is all depending on the ongoing market situation. Think of bitcoin price few months back. It marked its ATH which is double the value of bitcoin at present. If one has got the ability to hold, then profit is assured in the long term. Most of the time people feel once after missing opportunity. This is the reason why everyone are suggested to buy bitcoin. I assume you mean when you invest. From my point of view, the best time to buy is when it is "on sale", so to speak, long-term investors are in charge of seeing what price the cryptocurrency is currently at, in this case Bitcoin. Being in a bearish state they can buy since at some point it will have a bullish state due to its high volatility rate and when it is up it can be sold. Get a certain profit margin.

You should be buying only if you plan to hold long term because i have seen some newbies investing for fast returns and when they see it dipping more they panic sell and contribute worse to the bear market.So yes it's best time to invest as you could get some btc at discounted rates but hold long term.

It's an opportunity if the investors would maximize such, but I've considered many factors as detrimental to making investment such as fear, many don't want to take the risk but want to behold the results of risk, things does not work in that manner, market is unpredictable and when you buy even at this present time can lead to loss if the price keep moving bearish, but the only confidence is in the future whereby the price bounce back to going high.

You simply say that the bear market is ending but you don't say why. The halving is two years away and ATHs usually occur about a year after the halving. Regarding the large investors, with the historical falls of 80% or more that there have been, it does not hold up either.

I think the average cost of big investors is around $32000. Because of this, the Bitcoin price may drop a little more, but then it will make new ATH. Bitcoin survives despite a lot of bad news and this shows us its power.

there are speculations that price will dive $25k, can't be so sure about the bear market coming to an end. i will agree though that its time to buy BTC if you wanted to earn when prices moons again.

to those who have a lot of money to invest, they buy Bitcoin because they want to have more millions in their pocket. retail investors want to have thousands when the bull market comes that's why we should also buy BTC.

If we remember the trail of bitcoin's journey there is always a sharp decline after a high rise so I think this has become a common occurrence because bitcoin is for the long term, and any decline that occurs is the best option to buy.

This is such a relative statement. For someone who bought sub 20k it's a good price, for people who bought in the last 12 months it sucks.
I sold some coins at 30k when we broke past the last ATH of 20k because I've been holding for so long and wanted to celebrate the bull run. IMO this is a fair value for bitcoin. Not too overbought like it was at 60k+ and not too oversold like it was in 2020 at sub 20k.

Bitcoin holders have increased a lot compared to the past. Besides, its number is increasing every day. At present the price of Bitcoin is comparatively much lower. If anyone buys something from here, I think they can get (2-3)x return on investment or even more. So it is worthy to invest in bitcoin right now.

I fully agree with you, buying bitcoins right now is a good trade. At the end of the year prices will likely be much higher again. And buying now around 35,000 USD will lead to a good profit. Sure we could try and wait for prices to drop below the 30k barrier, but that is not very realistic. Waiting too long for the best purchase price might just lead to missing out on the next rally. Today the whole world was afraid Putin would escalate the war in Ukraine and maybe even start with a general mobilisation. That wasn't the case, the war will likely keep going on for more month eventually leading to a peace conference. As soon as the world calms down again crypto prices will rally again.

Exactly, the price has dropped down to $32,000 in the market that is motivating investors to buy more coins and hold for the price to increase higher before they can sell to make a good income. Bitcoin price is unpredictable which the price can move from $30,000 to $60,000 within a day for people to make profit at the moment. But it will be difficult for bitcoin price to dump more than $32,000 because long term investors that already bought a lot of bitcoin when the price was $40,000 will not be happy than to be panic with this current price.

Two things.

1. How can you say that the bear market is coming to an end.
Firstly, we can't say it's a bear market yet but we are seeing a down trend instead.
Bear market are way too long and worse than this.

2. Bitcoin halving still has around 2 years left.
So we won't be seeing any major impact of bitcoin halving right from now.
We will notice the implications of bitcoin halving only in 2024 I believe.

Cryptocurrency trading and investment is a something that not have stable price, base on current market price bitcoin $32,600 which it effect many other alt-coin in market as the price dip, people that buy bitcoin at $65,000 has lost more than 35%, which the current market price of bitcoin good to buy some bitcoin.

Why not, if investors do it for the long term then whenever the time is and whatever the price then it is the right choice to buy bitcoin.

Currently the price of bitcoin has fallen by as much as 52% in the last 6 months and maybe this decline has not stopped when many traders and investors are selling some of their bitcoins in panic. I am not really sure that we shouldn't be seeing a low price if the people are excited about the situation and I am guessing that the number of people who are excited about the price like you and me, do not really have any situation relying on the current market conditions. Just realize that crypto is not all much exciting right now for majority of the people.

Just practice DCA and everything is going to be fine. With this current dips that are happening, every single time that bitcoin dips, that's a good time to buy.
And if it dips for more, it's still another good time to start buying so whether you like or not this correction. If you haven't bought and took advantage of it, don't you wait until it recovers.

This dip can be a sign for someone to enter. Bitcoin is safe even for someone that is completely new and don't have a good knowledge yet on how it works. Btc was 34k the moment you write this post but the price continued to dip lower after that and to our surprise, btc is now at 30.8k. Can you imagine that drop? Well anyway, here are the reason why I invest more in Bitcoin than altcoins,
 - it is a reliable crypto project with has a lot of potential and use-case
 - high demand which becomes a reason that we could expect a price increase in the future
 - profitable investment
 - too volatile compared to altcoins

Having this current situation gives us the chance to buy more and good timing for newbies to start with.
If we have the plan, it is better to do it now. We don't need to wait for more drops as we actually not sure about it or that might be the reason why we miss this opportunity.

if in my opinion why we buy bitcoin the answer is very simple all of us need assets for the future so bitcoin is the right asset to be stored for the future even bitcoin can be used as a legacy for our descendants later.

No one could be so certain on when the bear market will come to an end, all we do is speculate. Speculations here and there. Can't see if it's sooner or longer but I'm crystally clear on the fact that Bitcoin halving will positively influence the price when it happens but can't also tell when.

Not just those reasons but also a retirement plan.

It's for real that there are folks that have already made a decision that they'll be waiting for bitcoin's price to shoot as their retirement plan. I'm also doing that for me.

So that when the right time comes, we've got our retirement fund from the profits that we'll be getting from bitcoin. By that time it comes, it's more of funds going to be reinvested into other assets that are generating money as well.

^ This is usually the reason investors hold BTC for the purpose of keeping it for a long time, just because they think it is an asset that could probably create a value of money when the bull market comes. A retirement plan is good and if you want to control your money over the bank, this is what you need, purchase BTC and forget it until for how many years. BTC for sure will increase the demand and the value of a dollar will also increase. This is why we should buy BTC while at dip.

I don't know whether the current condition is stable or not, but it looks like the bear market isn't over yet. although there have been quite a few developments from bitcoin from year to year, but if you look at the history of price increases and decreases after the halving, this may take a long time to recover, especially now that there are no whales looking to bitcoin as a place to invest. however, I think the price will recover later, but at the moment we are still in a bear market where the bitcoin price is prone to fall and the bitcoin price is stable in the $29k to $30k range.

People who is advising buyers of cryptocurrency to buy now as opportunity i will say it's not an opportunity because the probability of any coin you buy can slash to zero or lose a good values. Any time you buy cryptocurrency or any coin it is a risk when buy any coin.

Well, its uncertain if the price of Bitcoin will decrease further. Many speculated that it can happen so they're waiting for that before they buy to avoid losses but we cant really predict if it will going to happen or the price might recover consistently since anything is possible when it comes to Bitcoin's movement.

Anyway, the current price is still cheap if we're going to compare it for the past months, thus its fine to buy especially if you plan to hold for long term. Of course its risky because we dont know what could be the next movement right after you buy, but as long as you're not selling and willing to wait for the right time to take profit then you wont lose anything. Its only the price that turn downward but not the number of Bitcoin that you hold.

I dont believe much with fundamentals but it cant really be avoided on not to percept on whats happening around which might be the reason or give out effect on the current crypto market today.

Bitcoin halving days could change many things actually. I mean we might have best prices currently but it seems that we may also end up in more bearish trend when halving is near. This is well know due to the fact that miners will dump their bitcoin so that they can profit before the mining reward goes half during that cycle. This gives them little heads up to survive since they will have to adjust that half rewarding system until the prices are soaring one more time to ATH of previous ATH!!! So Yup, as we will close this year we will move to newer crazy spiky graphs of bitcoin exchanges. Just need to plot perfect entry and exits before one can survive.

I do not believe much on fundamental analysis, and I don't give much credence to it, but it works and it is helpful if you are current in the political and economic news.

I agree that the global situation doesn't look any good in the short term, I wouldn't be so sure about other 2 years of bear market, it would mean a total of 3 years of bear market out of a 4-year halving cycle, it's a little too much in my opinion. Yes bitcoin price is trading at 25.7k, not sure if this is the best or lowest price of bitcoin but at this price we can start buying . When bitcoin was at $30k a lot of people believed it was the bottom of this bear cycle so a lot of people bought at that price so it will be good for those who haven't bought bitcoin yet, buy it from now on.

I don't know what will be the bottom of bitcoin in this bull run, it can be 15,000$ or 20,000$ who knows but the prices won't stay here for long. If you are a trader then there is no need for you to stop but a high fluctuations are in fact your strengths. This should make your trades more easier and more profitable but for a long term investor, the only thing that they can do right now is to buy more coins because the price of the coins are dropping badly again.

I don't think the recent dip in the price is caused by the manipulators such as sharks or whales but I can believe more on what the majority is saying right now that is caused by the crypto exchanges. There will always be panic sellers because there will always be new people that will enter on this market but old crypto users already learned their lesson.
