Title: Market Analysis
Post by: Mark301 on May 19, 2022, 11:52:39 AM
What is going on in the crypto market? The stable coins are no longer stable. The market is still in a bearish zone, but when things return to normal, and we'll see the bulls?

Market is in the bearish zone but it is not a surprise, what has happened in he past is repeating itself. Just be patient, there can be more dip or the price may increase little and later more dip result, but a time is coming the market will be full more of the bulls and ATH will be achieved.

Stable coins are still stable except the algorithmic ones like UST, do not buy algorithmic stables coins, they are not stable.

I'm going to keep this simple. There are a lot of potential black swans right now: Covid, MonkeyPox, economic collapse, WW3... The best thing you can do is make sure that you and your family are safe, have food and water stockpiles, have some cash and metals on the side, and if you have extra fiat after that, prepare to buy the BTC dip to 20k. I will be loading up on ICP at around 2 USD.

What is going on in the crypto market?
What the market usually shows, buying and selling.

The stable coins are no longer stable.
Did you check the market aggregator websites? Most of them are, the ones we should be concerned about as intermediary use like USDT and USDC.

Such questions have no answers, just like questions on existential BS. It is better to avoid such questions because when the bull market arrives you will sulk that you cannot buy at such high prices and neither do you have bitcoin to sell at high prices. Bear market is the time to buy the asset, not to predict when bull market will come in.

To be successful at trading, you should be waiting for the bear markets to start so you can voraciously buy. If you are not one of those, you need to rethink your game.

It may be true that we are still in the bearish zone at the moment where the market is volatile. Not only cryptocurrencies, but commodities, stocks and forex as well.

This may be reasonable due to sentiment from the FED's policy regarding interest rates, then the pandemic and the possibility of war that is still hot in Europe (Ukraine and Russia).

I'm sure this will change in the future because there will be a lot of improvisation in the future to improve the economic situation, so the possibility of recovery and bullish potential is still there in the future.

The best strategy is to make regular purchases and hold.

yes you are right that currently the crypto market is still holding on to the bearish zone, and most likely this situation will persist for some time to come, and I think this is a very good opportunity to buy some coins that have popularity and strong fundamentals such as ethereum and binance, I am very optimistic that if the crypto market recovers these two coins will increase
higher and will give you a profit.

it is undeniable that currently the crypto market is still in a bearish zone where almost all crypto has experienced a very deep decline, but one of the things that must be done right now is to be patient and wait for the crypto market to recover,  you will benefit greatly from the investment you make, because what happened in 2018 may repeat itself this year.

what do you mean stable coins are no longer stable maybe just UST only. UST is different from USDT, it has a backup with bitcoin, meaning that UST coins are very easily damaged when bitcoin is in a bear market and experiences a sharp decline. But the real purpose of stable coins is to hold assets during a bear market, this is exactly the opposite of what UST has.

It happened now, years ago, and maybe in the future. You have to swallow that kind of truth when it comes to cryptocurrencies.
What will happen now? All we can do is be patient about it. There's no telling when a bull market will come again but I bet it will just not the exact date.
What to do? Purchase more. Because there's really no other choice or you could just stare at your portfolio and be stressed about how you regret not being able to sell when it was pumping.

Been in the space with another investor friend since May of 2017.  This is like our 4th downturn rollercoaster ride and although it still sucks, we now joke about it and feel sorry for newer participants who freak out.  One piece of advice: don’t sell.  Go for a walk and get some fresh air and forget about it for awhile.  If you have spare change, try to do some dollar cost averaging.  If you don’t, just hodl on and ride it out.  It could even be a couple years, but just ride it out.  If you can’t wait a couple years, you shouldn’t have invested the funds in this space.  Crypto investing should be reserved for funds that are not needed anytime soon.

I think the current crypto market will repeat itself like it was in 2018 but the price of BTC is not the same as before, my speculation is that the price of btc will go down and stay at $25k and after that we will see crypto will increase again and can repeat the achievements in 2021 last year, maybe this is a good time to start investing with crypto specifically BTC, because we will see the price will soar higher in the future.

It is obvious that the cryptocurrency market is still in a bearish, with practically all crypto seeing a significant loss, but one of the most important things to do right now is to be patient and wait for the crypto market to rebound; you will benefit enormously from the investment you make, because what occurred in 2018 may repeat itself this year.

I think there is still a lot of uncertainty, but I continue to buy gradually as I see big crashes in the market as an opportunity. Buying is ideal for me if everyone is in fear and panic. I hope to see the bulls, even if it's a short season.

I would even say we are already in the middle of a 2018 repeat. I'd expect another 6-12 months bearish markets and then some time sideways market. In the long run it will also depend on new innovations and how strict the regulation will be in the most important countries. After that we might see another bull market, but who knows if old ATHs will be reached. Many coins and tokens won't reach their old ATHs is my guess

Today there is a large selection of different stables, you can choose any and everything at your own risk, no one will give you a 100% guarantee that everything will be reliable. If you are afraid of what is happening in the market now, then go to the cash.

The market is nowhere to go after all of these corrections have finally come to an end.

We'll never know if it's going to happen by the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year because nobody knows when the exact bull run will come. The last year was different.

When bitcoin plunged, it recovered too quick,ly and maybe from this correction that we're experiencing. Bitcoin is going to recover as fast as it can just like that.

Not for a long time.  Bears sink their teeth in and everything is unstable during.  Best to stay out of flimsy plays in keep your core position in bitcoin.  I'd say we are a good year or 2 of disappointing days, get ready for it.

It is just another bearish stuff, but I wouldn't even call it fully "bearish ones" nor even a crash if people were thinking like that. It felt like a correction for me just yet especially for Bitcoin. Just buy the dip and keep holding your coins, maybe not for shitcoins though. That's a different story.

Never going to give up this Bitcoin I hold, lol

Yes the market is in the barren zone but this is not surprising. We have been seeing such conditions in the market since the beginning of cryptocurrencyAll the markets are in a very bad position for two years after playing well for one year. That is why I say that no one will faint when they see such a state of marketing. But the market must be good.

Well, it's simple we are in the bearish market currently just like everyone is saying. If you don't want to miss out on the next train better stash some alts to your portfolio including Btc. Trust me you'll never regret it, just choose reliable alts or the top 10 or 20 alts in the market.
USD pegged coins could also have tiny fluctuations just like the currencies in forex.

This is a nice observation, more than ever we have a lot of black swans all active at the same time, so it is incredibly difficult to predict what it is going to happen next, as such more than ever we need to take the right decision about what to do with our money.

So buying hard assets that will retain their value or even go up under difficult circumstances seems to be the right choice at the moment, so buying bitcoin, precious metals, real estate and other similar assets seem like the best thing we can do at the moment while we hold as little fiat as possible due to the high level of inflation we are experimenting.
