Title: pywallet work on windows 10?
Post by: docwatt_1390 on May 20, 2022, 02:20:35 AM
I am trying to recover a wallet.dat file from a number of years back and can't seem to get the pywallet.py script to work.  Just wondering if it no longer works in windows?

Pywallet is OS-agnostic which means that it should work on any operating system that contains an installation of Python 2 inside it (thihs include Windows 10). Maybe you are trying to run the script using Python 3 and that is the source of trouble. Python 3 support is still in beta according to jackjack (the developer).

I have a Windows10 PC (1903) and jackjack's pywallet works with Python 2.7.

Ok, thank you.  I will reload with older version of pywallet.
