Title: Are you filling your bags?
Post by: The Cryptovator on May 22, 2022, 04:11:25 PM
Still, the crypto market is dumped, have you filled your bags? Often we worried when the market becomes down for any reason. But we don't think that as an opportunity to accumulate in low. Whales do that and make a big profit whereas small traders like us lose money. I have accumulated a few top coins though it is down from the buy price. But still, I am holding and moved to Ledger for long holding. What about you? Have you filled your bags? Or just watching and waiting for more dips?

Yeah, I've been loading up gradually on certain tokens I wanted to buy last year but couldn't because of price. Now is the right time, that's if anyone isn't scared. Bull excites investors and makes discussions noisy while bear scares them and keeps everyone in hushed tone. Only a few keep to what Warren Buffett says about buying when others are scared. That's the situation now. Instead of people to buy or DCA their investments, they're scared.

Yes, it's a best time to fill in our wallets with good coins like bitcoin, ETH, BNB, ADA etc. Also, I am not waiting for more dips. Ups and downs are just a part of the crypto market and the opportunity may get lost if we wait for more dips inside the market. So it's always better to buy in small quantities over a period of time and hold them for long term. probably such holdings will eventually become my retirement fund when I look to consolidate.

But only buy few top coins and don't look for any random coins because I believe we don't need 99.99% of the coins that are available in the market today. So diversify, but with a precaution and avoid unnecessary risks.

So far I have bought a PUSS token (www.pussdao.com) because its price cannot drop. But I keep the vast majority of my funds in stablecoin. In my opinion, this is not the end of price drops on the cryptocurrency market. I'm going to fill my bags when Bitcoin drops to around $20k.

I don't understand what you mean, whether you deposit funds on PUSS coins or keep funds on stable coins, if you say PUSS the price can't go down then it's very wrong, pay attention to the price of Bitcoin alone can go down even though it is the most potential coin compared to all altcoins.

I did have most of my alts being hold even I got down now. Actually I wanted to buy more but my funds were already been bought many alts and waiting to get back again my funds. When the market began to become more stable and recovers. I do hope this bear period wouldnt last long cause it really give you a bit scared and mixed emotions. But I do believe it will recover only it will take some time.

I've been doing Dollar Cost Average ever since, even though the market is it at it's peak.

I've been constantly buying Bitcoin on a monthly basis. Waiting for the perfect timing to enter the market isn't working for me and for others here, that's why I stick to my plan which is to just buy Bitcoin on a monthly basis. As of now, I feel no panic, and I'm continuously accumulating Bitcoin for long term. I just hope that many investors filled their bags with not only Bitcoin but other top market cap altcoins as well :).

My strategy for the current time is to regularly buy tokens/coins of selected projects for the same amount in $. I believe the bear market is still going to last a long time, so this is my way of averaging down the price of an investment. And if in the meantime one of "my" projects is pumped, I sell a maximum of 30-40%, and after some time I will rebuy it lower.

Since the end of February, I have sold all the stocks of my cryptocurrency and converted everything into USDT.And now I am replenishing my portfolio with various assets again, in fact I have re-purchased everything and there are still free dollars in stock that I also plan to spend on buying various alternative coins.Such a sale should not be missed.

I would suggest BGL (Bitgesell), the most advanced fork of Bitcoin in terms of technology and much more superior than other forks. All bitcoin forks have made 20X - 100X, this one, because of its very small cap and much better technology should do better.

I have Bitgesell (BGL) from winning a lottery campaign held on this forum, I think this Bitgesell is a crypto that will be difficult to develop. The reason is, there is no crypto with a Store of Value that develops other than Bitcoin itself. Bitgesell does not have utilities like other mainstream coins, such as Ethereum, Avalanche, Binance Coin and others. I'm also not afraid if the price of this coin suddenly goes up a lot, because at least I have some Bitgesell (BGL) that I hold.

There are a lot of manipulators in this market and my main point is that the manipulators have sold a lot of cryptocurrency to new members. And in the current situation, I see no prospects for a new rise in prices. Hamsters should fix their losses and become disillusioned with the crypto market. You can start shopping a little, but I plan to think about it when the price of Bitcoin approaches $20,000 and Ethereum to $1,300.

I have been trying to fill my bag slowly. Due to the so many uncertainties in the crypto market and i think if this will become a very big decision if someone think to go all in at the current price, the price of bitcoin can be dumped even deeper than before.
Im still taking some price level as a way to get into the market. I know that if i shall decrease the risk by investing in the crypto right now. Waiting for a bullish signal to come soon.

Honestly speaking Yes, I add a particular token to my Portfolio and I was planning to hold it but I was only using a minimal amount of funds to acquire it because it's a lot cheaper now.

Anyway, I have some coins in my bag that were still not recovered in their previous price so Im hoping that it will not dip further. because even Bitcoin is having a hard time driving its price upward what more else for some unstable altcoins that I was also holding in my portfolio.

I also trapped on some altcoins and I think that's ok since I know they will rise again and if I got extra money, I will surely buy more because those are the good coins and good coins will survive this down trend. You should buy if you have extra funds, you know how cryptomarket works, after this dump the price will start to recover and if you don't want to regret anything, better to start buying small amount now because that is the best thing that you can do on a bear market.

Yes, I've filled my bag with bitcoin and altcoins that are expected to increase again, such as ethereum, bnb, matic, and several other altcoins. Although the crypto market still has the potential to go down again after a while of being able to go up, that doesn't stop me from buying those coins again. The whales also do that and can make big profits because they have a large source of funds to allocate to many coins. We can also do the same thing as The Whales even though the profit is smaller than them, but it is a good advantage for us.

Unfortunately, the opposite happened to me and it is the worst thing that could happen right now as I needed the money now and unfortunately I put most of my money into a side project so I had to sell some Bitcoin at a price of a thousand dollars, in general, although I sold it at a profit, I still keep most of the coins I bought In the years 2017, 2018-2019.

I hope to buy more next year but I can't buy much this year.

well, i sold some of the coins i had and turned them into fiat. Currently, I also still hold some coins that I think will have a high price in the future. I converted some of my assets to that fiat because I have some needs, as well as the effect of some FUD. however, I'll probably go back to filling the bag when I see pretty good feedback on the market. for now i might think of some popular coins that i will keep in the wallet i have. however, I think a lot of people are currently holding coins stable or still holding fiat to buy back their assets. The panic caused by LUNA was quite large, and made a lot of people do just that.

I have bought 50% at the current price, because I think the price of $ 28000 is the bottom price,
if it is still going down to $ 20000 of course I will buy another 50% and my capital will only be used in bitcoin,
I still believe Bitcoin can reach $100k in the future future, so why be afraid to invest?

Of you're talking about the alts then no, they will fall more and uncertainty situation among the altcoin holders are there especially after LUNA crash so even if its too coin we may hold too much risk until we see the green days for a while. But as you said it is the opportunity but just go for it only when you can afford to lose the capital or just stick with fundamental and trusted coin.

I'm putting all of my money and my paychecks into crypto. I'm not taking loans or anything crazy to buy more ICP and XRP, but I am eating canned food and ramen. This is how you make it.

Are you too risky to put all your money in crypto?, even though it is not borrowed money but your daily living money. Crypto is unpredictable and very risky, I think this is not the right decision. You see the demise of Luna, one of the altcoins that has potential and is likely to continue to rise in the future. But then things happen unexpectedly so always be prepared for that.

Greedy and not patient are losers this time. During these dumps and a lot of dips, it's more like a waiting game.
For me, I don't really a fan of altcoins during these market situations, unless the altcoins are a high market cap, which I only fill my bags.
I still don't forget Bitcoin, especially in this situation, for me, the majority allocation must come to high market caps coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Just add to the accumulation of coin collection which in the long run can still be profitable. Altcoins that are pocketed don't have too many types, only focus on ETH and Solana (although some time ago the information from Solana was quite disappointing). In one year Solana has experienced 8x problems in his network, either by accident or indeed the Solana developers are starting to get overwhelmed. Filling the bag for some it's only 20% and not too much. There are still other declines that might be taken.
