Title: How do you feel when the market is downtrend?
Post by: Marvell1 on June 04, 2022, 02:01:23 PM
How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?. Every time a bearmarket happens, I always have valuable lessons that the bull market doesn't have. So always be grateful when the market goes down, it gives us many lessons, lessons about emotions, lessons about capital management, trust and patience.

The bear market is not the end but the beginning of a new and better start, the bear market is a measure of our confidence in the market. Worthy rewards will only come to those who truly believe in the market.

A bear market is good for anyone who:

  • You do not want those investments during the next three years.
  • For those who have a surplus of cash and wish to invest it.
  • For those looking for a long-term investment with low risks.

Profit is possible on the date of purchase, and most likely, if we break the previous top, we will not return to the levels of 30 thousand dollars again.

To tell the truth, when a bear market starts, I start opening short positions  ;)

People's view about bitcoin varies while some see it as an investment others see bitcoin as a means of saving their spare cash. Sometimes the price of bitcoin goes up in their favor and they won't withdraw because they don't need the money yet. Such people only take their bitcoin when they need to solve a real life problem and, they may not consider the price at the time it was taken because they saved the money knowing that they would have spent the money long ago if they didn't invest the funds into bitcoin. Most of the time I don't feel anything when the price of bitcoin down trends because I'm the later.

Bull markets make you money, bear markets make you rich. While everyone enjoys bull markets, green candles and the weekly increasing net worth as it pads their ego, bull markets aren't where you get rich. Bear markets are the rare opportunity for wealth transfers, and are where crypto millionaires are made!

Obviously market in downtrend is a pretty bad feeling for anyone. You not only feel stuck with your money but at the same time you feel that guilt of keeping money in such a risky investment, people seeing the first bear run even feel that the whole market is a foolish scam made to loot our money. But you are right a bear market is nothing but a launchpad for the upcoming bull run only if the market would go bearish accumulation would become which could then pump the market.

We need to accept the market in all scenarios.
No matter if the market is down or up, but we should adopt to it.
I see many people fear the bearish market, I don’t understand the real reason for this type of response.
In my opinion bear market gives us opportunity to buy more coins in our assets, and to invest for long terms.
Currently we are also in a bearish market, and people are fearing and selling their Bitcoins.
They should understand the potential of Bitcoins. Bitcoins are the digital asset that will become valuable as the time passes.
So we should look the bearish market in a positive attitude and buy as many Bitcoins as we can.

For holders of course they would be feel sad since they will be holding their coins maybe for a longer time but for casual traders like most of the traders we usually take advantage on a downtrend through shorting or by converting it to stable coins to avoid the volatility of the market or to avoid losing the value of our holdings.

It depends, if I have invested in Altcoins I'd panic because I don't  trust them as much as I trust Bitcoin, there are quite a few instances of them suddenly crashing (see Luna or even FTM), for a variety of reasons which are not currently relevant. Bitcoin has lost more than 50% of its value, but honestly, I currently don't mind, since I'm not dependent on that money. I'm confident that in the near future, it will pay off by large. Thus, such bear markets aren't too upsetting for me, while it's a worthy opportunity to acquire more Bitcoin.

How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?.
I don't feel anything whenever the market is down, and the same when the market is up.
No hate for me when there is a bear market because most of the profits of the investors are coming from after the bear market because you can buy coins or stocks for a lower price.

Every time a bearmarket happens, I always have valuable lessons that the bull market doesn't have. So always be grateful when the market goes down, it gives us many lessons, lessons about emotions, lessons about capital management, trust and patience.
Bear market = opportunity for intelligent investors.
When the people are panicking, intelligent investors are silently accumulating coins and thinking of holding it for mid to long term. After the bear market, they will just wait for another bull market and *BOOM. Easy profit for them.

The bear market is not the end but the beginning of a new and better start, the bear market is a measure of our confidence in the market. Worthy rewards will only come to those who truly believe in the market.
What goes up goes down in every market whether it is stock or crypto or other market. Sometimes, we need to shake off the market and let those newbie and investors who are panicking easily to leave. Those who will survive will be the ones who will see another day. Those who accumulate during the bear market are the ones who will got the most profit when the next bull market comes.

Well, I'd rather be in the bull market than in the bear market, but I don't put great expectations on it. There are people who invest everything in bitcoin or in the fashionable alt hoping that it will be their salvation and when we enter a bear market they despair.

Markets are like that, you have to learn not to get too carried away by enthusiasm in the bull market or pessimism in the bear market.

I try to look at what I can do, or look at the positive things I can do instead of hating it. Trading itself already made me hate it whether it was a bull or bear market since most of my early days were me selling on bear seasons and buying on bull seasons. Even if I knew that what I should do is the opposite, well, fear got hold of me back then. Well that was when I was still trading daily, now that I just DCA, I still tend to look at the positive thing since I put in money when I wanted it to be not minding the season, takes a lot off my plate.

There is already an answer in your question! Yes I hate it ;D !
But I see this as an opportunity to buy more coins or to realize some efforts to maximize the profit, improve earning scheme, finding new opportunities, even relax more since there is not too much to do in a current situation.
Market can't be always a "pump", only ponzi scheme could grow and grow...

I think of a bear market as a stage where we are given a second chance to be able to take more. Therefore, do not include all funds. Providing stablecoins for bear market moments. Although indeed no one knows when it will come and when it will end. In the end, only people who have finances can better adapt to a bear market, while those of us who are just mediocre will hate moments when we don't have more money to enter more.

It's pretty simple if I am holding USD and the market down, I feel lucky to accumulate and fill my bags. If I am holding crypto then regret why I hadn't sold during an up trend. I think this is a simple logic for everyone. A bear market is an advantage for us who see the bull market. Because the market could move up anytime. Those who have enough patience could be gainers and make handsome profits from the bear. But most of the time we fall into the trap, once we buy the market go more down. Always we can't catch the bottom, to be honest. So whatever we may accumulate that would be better for us during bear.

How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?.

I am not worried that the market had entered the bear season.  In BTC, whenever the market moves downtrend,  all we need is patience and wait for the market to recover.  This had been proven in the Bitcoin market.

Every time a bearmarket happens, I always have valuable lessons that the bull market doesn't have. So always be grateful when the market goes down, it gives us many lessons, lessons about emotions, lessons about capital management, trust and patience.

Aside from the lessons it gives, the bear market also gives us an opportunity to reinvest or buy back the BTC that we sold during the Bull trend.

The bear market is not the end but the beginning of a new and better start, the bear market is a measure of our confidence in the market. Worthy rewards will only come to those who truly believe in the market.

I agree because the market cycle repeats itself.  WE just need patience until this bear trend transitions to a Bull trend and we will see that the time spent waiting for the market to recover is worth it.

How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?.

Cypto market is a very exciting but it is also volatile and there are pitfalls to it. Bitcoin, some say is too volatile. I myself did not go wild with my investments. I am happy and I am doing my regular investing and I enjoy when market is down so I can buy some more coins.

We all know that this is not the end of this story, and there will be huge bull run in the future. So don’t be upset when the Bitcoin bear market is happening and don’t hate it. Just sit back and relax and wait for the Bitcoin bull market to hit you.

Nowadays, I don't feel like before.

When we are in a bear market now, I just think as we should, if you have money to buy the deep, go for it, if you don't have money to buy the deep, just try to relax, never panic sell, that's the worst thing you can do to yourself.

Speaking honestly I do not like it and I assume most investors don't too especially when it reduces your investment funds to -70% to -80% of what you have invested. It is hard to chew, but like an old-timer, we kind of get used to this season.

I feel even worse when I don't have the necessary funds to buy the dip, this is also an opportunity for investors with a long-term goal to take advantage. Market downtown can be more interesting and less stressful when it was well planned. By planning, I meant selling at ath or around the top and patiently waiting for the right moment to buy back.

Nothing special. I still have my coins and I still have my money. It's not like I lose all my life savings just because of a bear market. If anything, a bear market just presents itself as an opportunity for me if I have the extra funds to buy more. In the last 2-3 years, I guess I only sold twice, and that is when I needed some money for some personal projects/hustles that I have on the side.

Never sell on a bear market, at least for bitcoin.

I really look at it as a longterm suppirt for the idea rather than a short term investment, so the fluctuations don't bother me at all. I know not everyone is in crypto because they support the project, but in the end that's what's important, not the day to day price of BTC.

It depends on whether the price fell just because of a correction or quite significantly and if significant, whether you have set a stop-loss target. If it reaches the limit then just pull it or switch it.

Or if you haven't found an alternative, just save it while waiting for new momentum. However, if you are still confident in your crypto choice for whatever reason, do a HODL and as long as it's bitcoin, I don't care how long the decline lasts.

The bear market is something that has been in existence in crypto. It is a seasonal visitor that everyone knows, yet people tend not to be prepared for it. No matter how careful one is, he can still be caught up by the unexpected visitor.
The bear market is not a disaster in the market but I don't really understand why the bear market tends to be longer than the bull market?
The bull market doesn't last for several months but the bear market does.
I really feel uneasy when I am caught up by the bear market and I think many people feel so as well.

Of course, who would want to see crypto market is sea of red almost all the time? But then again, this market is cyclical, so we can't stop the bear market from happening just like the bulls. So yeah, I think you have been in this game for so long that you and others have learned from valuable lessons from both bear and bull market. For one, this bear market is a good time to accumulate because the price of all crypto are cheap. But we need to very careful on what we are buying specially if we wanted it to be long term. Of course BTC is the top priority, but maybe a couple of good and solid alt coins will not hurt your portfolio.

When bear market comes, i do usually:

1. Not tending to see the market often or checking prices.
2. Got to look for some re-entry
3. As long i had secured my profits early then im not scared
4. Dont panic sell

You would really be committing out mistakes if you do really let yourself freak out on times like this without even
realizing that bear market is opportunity for you to get in or accumulate cheaper coins.

As someone who has a relatively small amount of BTCs, I would say that this bear market has given me the opportunity to HODL further my coins and sell them at a price where I am comfortable at. Many people have been open with this bear market for months now but I see this as an ongoing opportunity for people to purchase more while the prices are low.

Though this may be the case, I also do think that it is easier said than done in my experience compared to some who have like thousands of dollars worth of BTC. This means that the slightest increase/decrease on the price could mean a gain/loss of hundreds of thousands on their end, which explains on why some are disheartened by this situation.

Before entering the crypto world and starting to buy some coins, we should already know the risks.  because I've been through a bear market several times.  Bear market are not so scary.  Keep positive thingking and look for opportunities that bring profit when the market goes up again.

Just so so
Because this downtrend always happens. Because we have been experiencing this downtrend several times. SO, what should expect? Being sad and panicked? No need to do that because it seems to waste time again. btw, we know that sometimes, we are too frustrated seeing the downtrend market, moreover after high expectations about some certain coins. But, this is a crypto world where the market is always like this. That is why should be stressful Just enjoy and follow the market situation and try to utilize every chance given during the downtrend. if there is no good chance, just let it be and stop fr a moment.

Totally agree!

Im doing that recently and so far so good.
You won't think to sell once you are straight! Invest all the way , invest and walkaway .. that is the most peaceful thing i ever done in my whole investing career and seeing it in a long bull run ... that is satisfying.
Try this!

But for those who don't know the essence of a bear market, seems like this is the end of their crypto investments. I guess let's change our mindset and instead of hating the bearish market, its better to dig up the opportunities and take advantage on them, than to get scared and lose our investments.

Whenever the market have some nasty decline or correction then its normal to have some reaction which its unavoidable since we are just humans which we dont really like to lose money.

Feeling of getting depressed and fear is normal just like on what others been saying but as long you do have the experience and awareness or knowledge then those fear would turn out to
be an excitement because you know that you could get something from it or opportunity which can potentially make profits.

Sometimes its really hard to control but if you do know on what you are doing then these feelings wont come out that much.

I don't care. I sold enough BTC during the recent bull market to have enough fiat to cover my immediate plans. If I were a newbie who bought at $60k and now sitting at a 50% unrealized loss, then of course I would be sad. But since I'm hodling since 2016, I can endure even much deeper bear markets than we have now without feeling like my financial position has deteriorated significantly.

Bears are not something new in the market, they come and go so when a bear market occurs, be patient and don't panic. When the bear market arrives, we may be sad and disappointed that our asset portfolio will shrink somewhat, but instead of hating it, let's take advantage of it and turn it into an investment opportunity with low price high discount.

This is true that market is down there is so much to learn. Normally everyone is happy when market is up and not other way around. But your real test is when market is going down. No market can go up all the time, market always take correction and that correction may last for weeks, months or years. Your real test of patience is when market is down not when it up.

I am holding bitcoin for the long term and it does look good seeing my crypto portfolio decreasing in value. Sometimes I feel even depressed on seeing no positive momentum in the market and it seems that everything will be zero. But I know that bitcoin and overall crypto market will recover and we will again see bitcoin at all time highs. The hope is still alive.

I used to be frustrated every time the Bitcoin prices crashes, but know I'm just indifferent.
Stoicism teaches us to not get upset for things we have no control over. I have no control over the BTC price, so it's totally stupid to get angry or sad, when the bear market strikes. I'm sure that at least 90% of the Bitcoiners have faith in Bitcoin and they know that the Bitcoin price will hit another ATH sooner or later. The ones, who always start winning and complaining about the price crash are the ones that eventually will lose their money on Bitcoin/crypto.

I don't hate the bear market that is going on but rather tries to use it to my advantage because I see it as a good moment to buy coins at low prices. Whenever a bear market occurs, it provides an opportunity to buy many potential coins, which can increase later. Coins like bitcoin will be my top priority to buy because if the price of bitcoin increases, it will give me a huge profit. But I also bought some altcoins like ethereum and bnb because these are two potential coins that could also be profitable.

With all sincerity, it often breaks my heart to see the market drop in a sudden bear move. I mean, not in a way that I get scared and want to sell no, certainly not that andi very much understand the buying to hodl more opportunity it provides but, a change from the pace at which I was trading with is not often a very comfortable swap. For a fact, it discourages any form if sales from on my part and I start engaging more in hodling more than  before.
It grows to become a new normal, an acceptable one at that and it always ends in smiles when the market appreciates, after being able to buy more and hodl successfully.

Just accustomed to and there's no need to hate it. That is part of the cycle of the market and we'll experience that every after bull run but, it's much longer than the bull run.

Every time a bearmarket happens, I always have valuable lessons that the bull market doesn't have. So always be grateful when the market goes down, it gives us many lessons, lessons about emotions, lessons about capital management, trust and patience.
Me either, there's always the lesson and that's why it's important to take my profits every time there's opportunity and when there's the bull run. Can't do the same mistake again.

The bear market is not the end but the beginning of a new and better start, the bear market is a measure of our confidence in the market. Worthy rewards will only come to those who truly believe in the market.
This signifies that after this bear, we shall see the bull run again and that's more interesting to see and waiting for the end of this.

I am one of the weird people that will be excited when there are a Bear market, because it is an opportunity to buy more bitcoins... and by the time when the Bull market hit, I start feeling sad... because there are a high probability that I have to sell some of those coins.

The hunt for the "low" prices are more interesting ... than receiving the reward for the Bull market prices. Yes, it is nice to make huge profits, but you always feel sad when you have to let go of those coins you hoarded for such a long time.  ::)

Perhaps, it was an opportunity. Many had hated this situation especially when you bought coins during the last day of Bullrun but the others had considered this as an opportunity to earn more profit from crypto.

Well, of course, I understand those people who get angry, people like they are not really prepared for this. It is to realize that we need some market analysis for at least we can anticipate the possible incoming trend.

How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?

To tell the truth, when a bear market starts, I start opening short positions  ;)
That would be a logical thing to say but we do know that most traders wouldn't actually immediately follow that part because we have seen here time and again that most people instead of confirming that we are in the bear season believe it is just a correction which would reverse in the coming days/week after, we can now say it is a bear season however if you have been in the system for some time and you have come to agree with the different season of the market then, you must have realized that the bear market is just another opportunity to buy some more even if most of us don't actually like seeing the RED market.

It depends a bit on how the bear market looks like for me. If there is a big crash and prices drop quickly than it hurts intitally, but very quickly I realise that it's a good opportunity now to buy at thes low levels. Like you said it's not really a bad feeling but rather a feeling of a new beginning. Only looking at old positions which are deep red is not healthy, we should rather look at the opportunities ahead of us, even if it takes some time to get there. What is more hurtful to me is the situation we are in right now. It seems like a bear market, but it feels more like a side wars trend. Prices are fluctuating heavily but but really much in one direction. There is no clear trend, up or down.

Bitcoin is now in an accumulation phase, I expected an even stronger fall down, but so far everything indicates that this level is being held well. Now it is difficult to say what will happen next, I don't exclude that a downward movement is still possible, so for now I do not buy, I wait and watch. Sometimes in the straits I can buy a little for short-term transactions, but I now expect most of my deposit in stablecoins. A market downturn is always frustrating, but we have no control over it, so we just have to wait.

The hunt for the "low" prices are more interesting ... than receiving the reward for the Bull market prices. Yes, it is nice to make huge profits, but you always feel sad when you have to let go of those coins you hoarded for such a long time.  ::)
This is one of the most exciting parts of a bear market. During a downtrend, accumulation and packing your bags with cheap Bitcoin is really fun especially if you are aware of the price level every time you buy, especially doing Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA), the best method during a downtrend too.
Another thing is doing charts, the technical part, identifying some price actions, history prices, and or moves of the market so you will get familiarized and able to identify the next move.

I was sensitive to bear market in 2018. I first thought it would be a thing that would blow over in a matter of a few weeks, but it didn't. And, excluding a few brief moments of improvement, the price stayed low for more than 2 years. But it recovered, and I believed even then that it would. So now I'm not emotional about the bear market or the bull market. When it's bear, I just try not to sell BTC if possible. I see that people here also seem accustomed to it and see it more as an opportunity than a tragedy.

Absolutely, love it. I have little worry about the long term, so the short term downtrends just allow us to earn more Bitcoin than we would've been able to if it was in constant uptrend. I mean, anyone that's planning on holding more than two years, should probably feel the same way. In an investment you want to earn as much as possible, before it bangs up in price, and stays there.

If you're a trading it's a different story, but I've never been much for trading too much risk for me, and I definitely don't have the knowledge on how markets or the economy function, at least enough for me to gamble my Bitcoin away.

The few times I've experienced that, right now I've felt normal. Because indeed the Crypto market is so volatile. During the 3 periods through the halving period this incident becomes like a cycle that must be passed. We must not fight the market, we just have to follow it. Of course, by doing asset management, it will certainly make us feel calm. There is no need to panic I guess this period will end and change uptrends. If we have funds, of course the time is right enough to increase the stock of some crypto assets that have good fundamentals and good long-term predictions.

It is quite common to think of investing when the market turns downtrend. Very few take it an opportunity whereas majority of the users have a positive mind about the market to turn bullish. This majority users will keep on looking for an opportunity to buy even lower. Till the end the majority don't make a buying. Finally when the market bounces back, regrets for missing the opportunity to profit.

How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?.
I never feel sad about the bear market because it is something I know will happen after the halving effect market. For the record, in every investment environment, people have to welcome the bear market because it strengthens the market and presents more profit opportunities for investors.

Every time a bearmarket happens, I always have valuable lessons that the bull market doesn't have. So always be grateful when the market goes down, it gives us many lessons, lessons about emotions, lessons about capital management, trust and patience.
I am glad you understand this benefit which is always introduced by the bear market but the problem we have is that most investors don't focus on the benefits of the bearish trend and all they do is complain about losses whereas they didn't make if they hold their bag.

I feel nothing these days. It’s the new normal, whenever bitcoin is going down trend I would just keep doing what I am doing in the ordinary day. It’s pointless thinking about it’s downtrend and getting suffered with your work. Right now I just keep putting few bucks now and then into it as this is good opportunity for me to buy. So coming down to the emotions I’m happy that it is in Down trend, it’s new opportunity and it’s upto us whether to grab it or be fearful about it. As long as I’m not selling I know very well I’m not loosing anything. :)

Well the fact that there is a Bearish market is an opportunity option, where many see sadness I see the opportunity to buy, it is something like buying in the DIP, that will always be a good strategy, but not buy everything, but buy in a grained way According to the money one counts. It is known that any market that is of a speculative nature, when it is Bearish or Bullish is normal, in this case when it is Bearish for some traders they also take advantage of to win with the movement, I do not have such skill, I only see interacting with the cheap purchase and save.

For me, the key to this market when it is bassist, is to take advantage of if I have money available and I think so the whales think.

There's not much that can be done. As for feelings, it will obviously make you feel more stressed and certainly hope to return to a profitable position soon. It's simple, for people who have more spare money can buy more for long term profit. Meanwhile, for people who no longer have finances that can be used when the market is down like this, waiting is the solution.

the approach in the market deviates from one person to another because it depends on their financial capability as well as goals with their funds. as we know that a declining market is a very good opportunity to collect more, that is, if you have long-term plans with your coins. because definitely, the market is not always at the bottom, it will always go up at some point.
but for short-term plans, you need to be very cautious on where you are spending money because a lot of alts won't give you the target profits you want. most of the time, you will incur loss if you missed the exit point for the coin.

Whenever their is a bear market am always happy, we are having lot's of coins in crypto space now and most of them are scam coins, bear market always allow us to know the good coins, because whenever their is a bear market, most shit coins don't survive it. Also I believe bear market always give us opptunity to bag more coins at a very cheaper rate, so whenever their is a bear market I always bag more coins and wait for the bull run.

I simply start accumulating and stop selling. I feel a little worse than in a bull market because when we're going up I have a greater need to buy stuff, much of it ending up being unneeded purchases that I waste my coins on. Low prices make me become more careful with the way I spend money.
If it wears you up, stop checking prices. Have a break and come back in a month or two. We aren't going to new highs in a month so you won't miss a lot.

Yes, but maybe we can generalized things in a bear market: It's the right time to accumulate, used DCA or any method that will work for you to buy those cheap bitcoin because this opportunity may not come again.

And then it's up to the individual, of course if you are not financially stable then you have to prioritized things like putting food in the table first because investing what's left for you. And if you are going to invest, calculate the risk and you also have to mitigate things, have a back up plan.

Yeah! moral lesson that a good thing won't last forever and there's always a storm coming for a good reason. A bearish market is common for those who have already been in the market in the past decade and after that, either a bull trap will come or the actual bull market will occur. nevertheless, you only need to know what kind of investment you are heading into because that's the moment you will realize what kind of occurrence you gonna put your money in the market. For the short-term, they will wait for the bull market, and for the long term, they will put their money when the price is sinking and come back later after years of patience.

Bear market is part of the cycle when we invest in crypto so its just right that investors assume that it will happen sooner or later. I feel a bit sad everytime the market is in bearish because obviously the prices of my coins are turning downward. But as an investor who's here for years, I already used to it and learn to take this season positively.

Buying the coins you would like to hold is the best thing to do because its cheaper. Investing in crypto really takes a lot of patience since we cant certainly predict the next thing that will happen. We cant say for how long this season will last but what im certain is, good things will happen to the investors who can hold their coins longer especially if its an established coins.

Actually, not only during bearish times we can take many lessons but at any time there are many lessons that can be taken to make us understand the market better.

I agree with you. Diversification is good but when it comes to long-term investing you have to reduce all those too many Alts bags to Bitcoin and just a few major ALts. With this strategy and understanding that these coins have been through such similar circles before and have seen how they performed, I don't really get worried over the market position right now.

In this current situation, it is the best option to divert some of our altcoins to Bitcoin. Might be to keep potential altcoins together with Bitcoin, and nothing else. We have to do this for the purpose of anticipating the market's possible drop, we'd rather be prepared for that as we never know what will happen a few days from now.

Now that I have set already and if ever this bear season continues, I won't buy anymore, I'd rather just hold and tried to analyze the market sentiment before making another move again.

Nobody loves it when they don't make profit, everyone wants return. It'll be more beneficial if in the bad days a little bit of patience is shown. Honestly the crypto market isn't for the weak. I think every trader's mood will currently be the same in these turbulent times.

Both the bear and bull market comes with its surprises for a newbie trader.

The bear market is the time to assess the prices for future buying of coins. It is also the time to see who are the weak hands who are going to panic sell. There might be gradual attrition of such traders over time.

As with many traders, I feel ready to buy when the bear market arrives. However the liquid cash at hand should also be kept in check before spending. Dont get too excited with buying neither get to depressed with low prices.

These are common feelings that I have but that was before. All the past experiences that I've carried until now it teaches me how to be strong and become a positive mindset. And I realized that living in such conditions is a hindrance to success. We, therefore have to change our mind and market view despite the tough condition of the market (bear), we can't find any other solution than to keep calm and stay strong. We can't just let our emotions drive us nor do they take us down that forever in our life that we regret.

Well, if a trader plays his cards right then he can make money in both the bull and bear markets.
But most of us are attracted towards a bull market because of the massive gains.
For me, a bear market is quite normal because only after it ends we can again see a new bull market and may be this time with new ATH.
A bear market also allows us to buy more at cheaper prices. So it's like a sale for me.

I think if I can control the market, then I will continue to increase the price or uptrend. But the crypto market even traditional trading bases there are up cycles and down cycles are commonplace.  I will certainly follow suit and if I can take advantage of the rising and falling markets. I've known crypto for almost 7 years, going through 2 halvings. Cycles like this I consider familiar, so I just learn how to make the right decisions at the right time. One of the keys is asset management and don't panic. But of the many things I see on social media this kind of situation is widely used to add panic for beginners.

I think of the bear market for what it is, which is something inevitable, just as there are bull markets then we have bear markets as well, this is the reality and those wishing for this to not happen are simply denying the reality of the markets.

Now with that being said I think bear markets are where we see who is a really good trader or investor, since they force us to use our skills to our limits, as such it is imperative that we learn all the necessary lessons when we are in a ranging or bull market, because if we try to learn those lessons during a bear market our losses could be massive.

this is a common experience everyone will have when the market run dip, they take the good advantage for an investment opportunity while the other end tries to sell at loss because of the low demand in the market, but the fact remains that they bith have the chances of making profit out of the market situations base on their speculative abilities on the market trends and moves.

the said reward awaits only those that wait patiently and are found worthy to deserve such, many invested but put in less etfort to manage their investment while some do well, you can as well invest when high if the confidence is there to keep rising within a short position and most traders take this advantage the most, but its risky if you don't have the experience in doing so.

Although your spelling is wrong but you said true. A few shitcoin even don't receivable during the bull run when bought in bear. So it's quite important to choose the right coin for someone who intends to invest in an altcoin. Otherwise, Bitcoin works fine and you wouldn't waste your money if you can hold longer. Because if we see the previous chart there was always a bull run after every bear.

The worst thing during a market downtrend is the fact that we get to wait and do absolutely nothing, which bores me a little bit. Lets face it, we came out of 2 year period during pandemic when life was horribly boring, now that crypto is also boring right after pandemic is over, I feel like it pushes me to live my life, do something, but I do not know what to do. When crypto is volatile, it makes a fun period, you could check up on it, read about it, and even discuss it with others and have some fun. Now, I just finish my work, and then... do what? Netflix? Again? No thank you, I think this is the main cause of people who sell as well, since they just want to do something, instead of just boringly waiting.

Well, this one is obvious. Of course if the prices of most cryptos are down by a major percent and then it stays there for a month or two. That is my definition on a downtrend or a bear market. I admit it that I hate the bear because I always want the price to go up but not in an extreme way.

I mean I know that this was just part of the game and I can also use this to buy more coins or this will be a way for someone to start investing. It brings some benefits somehow. It was nice to know that someone can get a valuable lesson here in cryptos (specifically when it bears) other than the profit or the loss that they can get.

I will always feel excited knowing there will be great offers in times of market downtrend. Opportunities are there but still, a lot of people still miss them because their mindset is not on bearish market but its always the bullish market that creates opportunities and profits. If your mindset is like this, then you're not supposed to invest in the crypto market because you will never be fully profitable like what you expected to happen.

Im also excited at the same time or deep inside i was worried for the market to decline even more because we know that there's something wrong whenever we do really see the market on having deep percentage drops

although these things are bit common or casual into this market but it cant really be avoided to be that emotional or having those reactions yet we are just humans and its normal that we would make out those behavior

whenever we do see our portfolio is declining in USD value.I know it isnt really that much an issue for some but situations like this could really make you react out.

How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?.
No reason to hate, for this always happens so far in the crypto world. None can avoid this cycle, we are on the cycle of uptrend and downtrend, of the bullish and bearish era. So, no worry about that. As long as we don't panic because of the downtrend market that is continuing, we can still manage our funds, for the long term or other strategies.
Yes, once to consider is that we don't need to panic and we should stay wise and careful every time making any decision for downtrend market. No market will be always like what we exect. Sometimes, it is worse than we think, but sometimes, it is much better than we guess. So, just so, so.

I agree with you, because bear market will not remain forever than to help people to plan well so that they will not miss their opportunity when the bear market is over. I think, those that understood the market season very well will not be panicking at this bear market than to be happy that the price has reduced for people to buy and hold for bull market to come before they can sell to make a suitable income. I feel very good about this current price of bitcoin because the price has dropped down to $28,000 which will really help me to use huge amount of money to purchase and hold for the price to hit back $50,000 before I can sell to make income.

This is what we need to take into consideration if you are holding bitcoin that panic sell is worse because it will rise in the long term but weak hands sell to the whales making them earn huge profits. So try to follow them like buy at these dips with amounts you can and just relax without any trading and keep them safe on your hardware wallets with backup of keys. You don't have to worry a lot about it later on amd and enjoy your returns.

While I understand what you mean we need to accept the reality, it is true that when the market is going up in price there is a very high degree of energy in the forums and in many other social media websites which is quite entertaining to watch, and when we have to face a bear market the opposite happens, however as an investor the most important aspect will always be the results you get and not the entertainment we obtain out of this market, so we need to control our feelings of boredom and do something else during that time.

That is true, if to be sincere, crypto is just boring during bear market, that is never a lie. The price of bitcoin fall and altcoins also are falling in price as bitcoin price is falling, people are discouraged and some will say the crypto market is risky. But as the market is boring to many people, some people still go short on bitcoin and make money in the process, thereby making the bear market period not to be boring for them but to make it interesting as they make money.

sad at some way but not totally because though I regret not selling when the price is still Hyping yet i value the chance of buying again when dipping is happening like now.

How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?.

Most people hate bear market including me of course but if we look on the bright side, that is a big chance for us to buy many cryptocurrencies at a very cheap price. Once the market goes back up again, earning 50% of your capital is easy when you bought during bear season. Market will never stay up or down so we should be prepared what to do when those moments are happening. When market is up, learn to take profit. If it's down, avoid yourself from panic selling and accumulate more if you can.

Technically speaking and according to satoshi original idea we are to be patient with the market and let it grow organically, so when the market move up and down i only know it within the Bitcoin growth process and we need to just build our knowledge around this process. While others sees market crash as opportunity to buy and gain from the dip but in totality while we follow the price and growth process we learn and also profits from the market volatility.

Honestly speaking I don't like the bearish season in all aspects, because IMO, it just only brings stress and negativity for us all, but because it is part of the market cycle and there's nothing we can do about it, thats why we are forced to accept it with a heavy heart. But moving on I believe we must never stop to find ways to deal with it without sacrificing our portfolios.

Anyway of all the bearish seasons that I was experienced, the year 2018 was very memorable to me because ninety percent of the value of my portfolio was wipeout and I never recovered it til now so that experience also gives me a lesson to review all my decision on part of choosing coins and tokens to hold.

personally, NO, not really. though I used to hate it. knowing bitcoin for over 7 years now, you learn to just accept it and look for the opportunity it provides. I am sure a lot of people feel anxious when there is a downtrend but there are also people who are looking forward to it because of the opportunity to buy low and then sell high.

For people who have been in this business for a long time, it is clear that this kind of market is like a discount, which must be put to good use. but it may be a different story with people who do not have their own research base and are new to this matter which is clearly what makes them panic.

in fact experience is clearly very decisive in action. because indeed in this case calmness and rationality in acting must be in line with research conducted and when we feel disadvantaged it does not mean we have to panic and sell because things like this make many people feel cheated because they do not meet initial expectations.

Talking about Cryptocurrency bear market, Honestly speaking I used to feel so bad during that period because everything gets so bored to an extent ,looking at all your portfolios go down in regards to price in dollar , but as I gets more mature into the space and learning how to become a wise investor, I got to understand that Fiat is going down and BTC is the future ,so it doesn't make sense to me pricing BTC in fiat currency like the dollar , I have to do opposite and reshape my mind and I now see it as the biggest opportunity for me to get Bitcoin and cryptos cheaper.

I feel disappointed and at the same time i feel bored, when i look at my portfolio during downtrend the value of the holdings is down that is why it is really disappointing me, but i am still hoping that the downtrend will not last long because many opportunities of gaining is still occur during bullish season example is bounty hunting, bounty hunting is only profitable during bullish season amd it is a waste of time during bear season.

Feels bad man.

Especially when you are fully invested and have no cash flow coming in. Luckily though, I am not in that position this time. Luckily, I have plenty of cash reserves and ready to buy in any time I want. Luckily, I learned my lesson during the last bull&bear market.

Fear not however, every dark night is followed by a sunny morning. (edit: OK sometimes not so sunny) This has been happening since the creation of earth. so panicking now pointless. Keep calm and buy the dips if you are able to. If not, sit tight.

nobody will like to experience bearish market, because if you are investor and you are holding a coin for long period and on the way bearish occur definitely you will be unhappy, the happiness of investor is to accelerate in price, some i felt very discouraged when cryptocurrency kept falling, and it's obvious that during the time of bearish market people lost what they have invested for years with out recovering at a moment. We shall experience bullish market after this year, so i seems that the advantages of bear season is for people who is purchasing cryptocurrency.

The bear market does not bring losses for us, but there's a lot of opportunities that we can experience from it. The reason why we should not hate it or condemn it because its not definitely the reason why we lose, but it's more on how we wrongly manage our investments because we always believe that bullish market is the best time to sell and even buy those coins who are on top of the market list. The way how we see our investments during bear and bull season will always affect the future of our investments knowing we can buy and sell them at the wrong season of the market. If we fall on panic selling on bear market and panic buying in the bull market, then losses will be inevitable for us.

Think of it when you're still about to buy Bitcoin and it is in its bullish trend and you had bought a .xxxx number of Bitcoin but then few days later you realized that it just went bearish so sudden. That would make someone surely regret their decision and wished they waited for the bearish market.
Maybe some people back when Bitcoin was around 64k are now happy that they were able to buy quite a lot of coins.

Sadly, many don't know the merit of the bear market. It is funny how everyone chants during the bull run that they wish they have bought bitcoin when the price was lower but it will turn out that they wouldn't buy even if the price crashed below supports zone. Millionaires are made during the bear market, that's the period you have a discount on almost all the coins and if you are privileged to buy any coin now, you will see how the bull market will do you good.
For those waiting for the market to bottom out, it may and may never come, you wouldn't know the right time when the train will take off.

The bear market is one thing that we should be thankful of because it gives us a good start by taking advantage on the opportunities that this bear market brings. Although not all have come to realized this as newbies always prefer their own analysis, but if you want to create wealth and be more profitable in the future, the bear market is always the best season not to miss. Yes, it could bring mixed emotions on us and even test our patience on how long can we hold our investments, but its always the one who struggles the most and survive from it ends up the winner in the crypto market.

There are also opportunities in a bear market as far as being an experience trader is concerned, a trader with a working trading strategy will always make profits even in a downtrend market, however such opportunity is for a very skillful and knowledgeable trader, though I haven't become a professional trader yet, however I also trade in the bearish market and always watching out to short trades only utilizing some candlestick patterns and price actions based on my trading strategy. A newbie is always advice to buy coins bit by bit and hodl or accumulate in a bearish market.

Usually, whenever the price does a downtrend movement especially when it's a sharp movement and breaks the key support levels, the investors are getting worried because the assets they based doesn't worth the same value but that's only for the newbie investors while the bitcoin investors who are familiar with this market they have a plan and because of having a proper risk and money management, they will just increase their assets during this time. I always try to be like the investors who got who are familiar with the market and do not get worried about the downtrend price movments.

The bear market always brings us a great start as it opens a lot of opportunities to those who are greedy and fearless to take the risks. when I was new in crypto for first 1, 2 years. the downtrend was really concerning for me. it used to make me panic like all those newbie traders and investors. but as I spent more time in crypto. and learned about it. and survived, 2, 3 big downtrends. I saw so many projects collapsed and so many died. but Bitcoin always recovered from that and now I belielve that no matter how big the downtrend is and how long is. it'll eventually end..
investment will recover again and profit gain start again.

Certainly you won't feel happy when the market is in downtrend because your portfolio will give you the reaction that your body need in the negative way, you tend to get angry easily most especially if you had a huge loss in your trade, sometimes the best thing I do is just to stay off my laptop and go watch movies or hang out with my friends because whenever the market is down and your portfolio is getting hit hard you feel depressed

When you are just new into this market then you would really be having these kind of common reaction but once you do already have that experience then you could able to handle up yourself
When the market is on downtrend situation. It wont be that simple but it would really be possible.

It do just need some self realization and be realistic when it comes to your goals and targets.Exit on the market and never tend to check it out every now and then.

We tend to stay away from things that get us in a bad mood. Like when you know people who are always negative about everything and never encourages you, you'll avoid them.
That's why people get out when the bear market is in its lowest point because that's where it weighs heavy on them and they can't stand it anymore. It's a good indicator of the bottom if you can ignore all the negativity and focus on the fundamentals. It's the same bitcoin people were paying over 60k for. The only thing that changed is people's attitude, not bitcoin itself.

^ They are separated as two, the investor and the holder.
Investors always wanted a low price so that they can buy BTC at a low price and look at those big players on crypto, they keep spreading FUD because they wanted BTC to drop furthermore so that they can invest at a lower price. But all of these are opposite to the holders, holders wanted the price the keep rising and they even wish that there is another ATH that will come so that they can sell at a higher price. The process is always repeating and everyone has different wishes on the price, so don't worry if there is a downtrend, it will have the opposite reaction.

Because people who are ready to buy and invest cryptocurrency for long time is interested of falling of cryptocurrency so that they can buy plenty of cryptocurrency and hold and wait for the time cryptocurrency will launched to bull market, why people that have already invested currency will like to be rising so that they will make more profit for those one's invested with.

I agree with the decision you have taken. To keep holding during bear market is necessary and there is nothing else investors can do for now because panic selling doesn't look a plausible alternative, Hopefully by next year bitcoin will reach above 40,000$ price range again, enabling investors like you to hit ROI and feel more confortable regards the market's conditions.

Personally, during bearish markets I prefer to forget about the market for a while and avoid concentrating too much on prices, because it will be a waste of time, besides being very annoying to see prices stagnant or crashing. During these times investors have a chance to focus on another aspects of their lives, especially to preserve their mental health and welfare.

Presently I have also learned many lessons from the market and have taken my corrections so anyone out there needs to strategize himself and hold strong on their portfolios.

You are talking about bear and bull market which not many people know. Let me tell you something about these two.

What is a bear market?
A bear market is a period of months or years during which the price of securities falls steadily. Beer market is a term commonly used in the stock market. But it can also describe specific sectors such as foreign exchange, bonds or real estate. In the bear market environment, sales growth and short sales are frequent. At the bear market level, investing can be risky even for the most seasoned investors.
Many investors choose to sell their stocks during bear market for fear of further losses, thus igniting a vicious cycle of negativity.

What causes a bear market?
A bear market occurs when there are more sellers than buyers. In a bear market, for example, sellers supply, while buyers demand. So, when the market is in recession, the number of sellers is higher and the number of buyers is comparatively less.Circumstances that make up the bear market: Some of the main conditions that make up the bear market are: a rapid rise in inflation, high unemployment rate, an economy that is entering a recession.

What is a bull market?
A bull market is a time where stock prices rise. This is when the value of an investment increases over an extended period of time. The term bull market is commonly used to describe securities, such as stocks, commodities and bonds. Sometimes it can also be used for investment like housing. Investors buy a lot of stocks at the bull market because they expect the stock price to rise and they will be able to make a profit by selling again.

3 drivers of a stock bull market.
1. Top-line income should grow as fast as top-line income. Economy is measured by nominal GDP. It reflects the demand for products and services from consumers.
2. Profit Profit is how much top revenue has been generated in profit for the company.
3. P / E Ratio The P / E ratio is the amount of additional stock that investors are willing to pay for each dollar.

When the bear market downtrends it brings much joy to the holders who want to invest more unlike those that are only buying to sell immediately. It has adverse effect on one’s financial management, on how you spend and hold coins. Market downtrend favour others while others are much affected by it.

There are also opportunities in a bear market as far as being an experience trader is concerned, a trader with a working trading strategy will always make profits even in a downtrend market

This aspect is an interesting topic to discuss about, both the bull and bear in bitcoin price shouldn't be a thing of much concern for those that truly understand the benefits in both, when there's bull run in price, the long time investors make profits on their investment and during the bearish moves, it gives an opportunity for new investors to set in and also during this period some experience traders goes on short position like day trading and swing trading just to predict the move in speculation price on a dip run thereby making their profits as well, that's why i got pissed seing some users going on panic over the bearish move in bitcoin price when others finds it profitable opportunity.

The bear market is not the end but the beginning of a new and better start, the bear market is a measure of our confidence in the market. Worthy rewards will only come to those who truly believe in the market.
You can be optimistic about your investment but you cannot expect the market to rally all the time, expect the market to undergo correction and if you are smart enough you book your profit and wait for the market to stabilize and enter again. We have seen how the market behaves after every rally and hence it is not a big purchase with the bear market and if you believe the market you always know that it will always recover.

In my early years, i was not able to grasp what's the real value of bearish market. So i ended up hating it. But now, i have come to realized that there are more opportunities built in bears than bulls. I'm starting to take advantage of the market as much as i can because i believe that it will also give me the best benefits when bullish season hits the market.

For those that want to add more, yes, it's a happy moment for them because of the cheaper bags that they'll get to fill. But for those holders that don't have any plans of adding and just waiting for it to reach the sky for its price, there's no worry as well and maybe a bit of frustration because of the lower price but other than that, if you're a long term guy then you'll appreciate that these downtrends are necessary for us to have a better future market because it all starts there. High prices and good markets are starting from the lower one and go through this procedure.

Things aren't easy OP, can't really feel good when seeing your portfolio goes down. But we have nothing to do aside from accepting the reality that this certainly comes in a very unpredictable time.
 * just keep calm
 * have trust in your investment

Having those things makes you feel fine and easy. Not all the time do we have this condition, we still get past with this someday. PATIENCE is somewhat we need.

What choice do they have when it's bear market already?

It would be better if they have another source of income to be able to buy this dip to add to their investment. I'd rather do that but I think the price is too high right now and it's not the right time to buy yet and yes, the frustration of waiting if you can't do anything in this market but to hodl and wait.

It will be a long journey of waiting again for them to be able to see the bull market and the best thing they could do this time is to stop looking at the chart and proceed to do some productive work that could benefit them in the future.

Of course, nobody likes to lose value of money. When there is a bear market, I am also unhappy because the arrows are pointing downwards. I get depressed for a while. I don't want to talk to anyone, I don't want to eat. But I'm recovering later. Then i want to invest continuously. I'm investing even though it's on a steady drop. This way I earn more over a long period of time.

I assume you already did your assessment before investing any of these coins.
Because as you mentioned, you got depressed for a while.
And it may happen again if you haven't achieved your targets. So be ready for that scenario.
Also, better move on if you are not happy with the results. Don't overthink this is why it is always advisable to invest what you can afford to lose.
This piece of advise is simple but a valuable one, to avoid other consequences like emotional turmoil and financial wreck.

what to expect? panic? not at all. it has been many times seeing the market like now. and maybe it will be still going on, until the dippest on bearish period. So, we must be ready, it is a must. being panic will only make us feel worse, and moreover depression. morever every time we are seeing our portolio, it has dropped even more than -60%. haha
but this is crypto world, where the cycle of bearish and bullish must be faced. we need to utilize every time to gain money, right?

Investing what you can afford to lose is a good word for any investment, it works not to worry too much when the market is trending down because they do it with extra money even though the worry is always there.
but mostly they don't really care about those words and invest beyond their means which will lead to depression when the market is in downtrend and i was once in their position because of ambition with big profit but all will be fine as long as patience because in the end The market will reverse direction although it will take a while, and patience is essential for any investment when the market is in a downtrend, and investing what you can afford to lose is also important to keep you cool in any market situation.

Not everyone sees opportunity in a bear market, it's not that simple mate. When the market goes down and you don't have time to cash out your portfolio could have dropped a lot and I bet no one can stay calm in that situation so panic and dumping are normal during bear season. Especially for those who are new to the market, they have not experienced the bear season so it will be very scary.

That's the choice, either wait until the price goes up and then sell or obviously to get some other source for which they'll use the money for buying and filling their bags.

In as much as you have said, I find it more interesting bull market because it gives me access to more valuable token which I have longed to have. For me, it's the right time to feel my bag  and wait for the bull market as well. It builds my confidence in market analysis in determining the trends, knowing when to buy and when to sell. Also, bear market shows and tells us more about projects and tokens with good use case. The bear market also test and build your level of patience. If during the bear market you didn't panic sell, you get some credits for yourself.

It's pretty much worrisome if the market is on its bearsih season if you don't know how to utilize the situation. This season could be a sign of hopelessness to some, while others might find this season very beneficial. Those who are smart are the ones who know how to utilize the market on their advantage.

Being able to invest in this time in potential coins could bring an advantage once bull market comes in. Just like what they say, when others are fearful, be greedy. This is the time where most people, if not all are being afraid of what lies ahead. But this is also a great opportunity to buy and invest in coins that could soar high, at a low price point. Although of course, this must still be acted upon with caution because it still possesses risks.

I always invest my surplus and keep my investment for long term, a bear market is a good opportunity to make some good investment for me.
Only a few or some people do only have that perception on taking opportunities on a bear market on which this is really the best time to make out some cheap purchases of coins but i do understand on why people do really miss out opportunities something like this because they are in fear because of the market might go even more further.Reasons on why its decreasing or crashing? No one really knows.

We could check out some fundamentals or news but those things wont really be that precise and thats why analysis and risk taking would be both things will really be relevant into these times.
Just dont look on the market on active manner if you are really that too impulsive with your emotions.

The problem is middle income folks that had their money in the markets don't have enough funds to reinvest. Rich people always have the funds to reinvest and come out on top during the recovery. To the extent middle income earners can save their funds, it would be to not sell. Panicking and trying to cut your losses in a bear market is essentially a donation of your funds to rich people.

COVID panic selling was probably the worst examples I've ever seen of it. Tons of people sold off despite a market recovery in less than a year.

It's hard to remain optimistic when the market is dumping. I am very much a supporter of bitcoin and i know bitcoin will recover sooner or later but when i see the market and the charts, my heart starts pumping and i have the fear coming into my mind.
In these times, I prefer not to look at the market so as to avoid any bad decisions or panic selling.

In reality, this does not happen as very few people buy at these low levels. When the market is dumping, people also panic sell, and therefore we see key support levels being broken downwards. People have the habit to buy when the crypto market is going up and most of the people try to jump on a running train. It's strange that people are not buying at 27,000$ but when it will reach 40,000$, people will buy bitcoin as they do not want to miss the rally.

My first experience with the bear market (that was in 2018) nearly sent me into depression. I watched my investments vapourize like gas as I continued to hope it would revert. It was a humbling experience for me. After that I learnt some lessons. One of which is – always prepare for the bear season. It will surely come no matter how the bull lingers. So, last year I told a friend who newly came into this industry to expect a bear soon. Dude wasn't going to take any of that. He said the way the bull run was going, it would be difficult and impossible for the bear season to come. This year, dude has acknowledged I was right. In fact, there are better lessons to learn in bear season than in bull run. Always prepare for the dip so it doesn't steal your happiness.

When the market is down.  Everyone then became anxious.  The price of all tokens goes down when the market goes down.  No worries, the market will be normal.  Sadly, you have no idea about the bear market.  When the market goes down, the price of USD goes up a lot.  We will all be ready for the bear season.  Those who buy Bitcoin now will be able to make big profits in the future.  In a few days, Bitcoin will return to its previous state.  I think the bear market is testing your patience.  Now that the market is in place, if you can buy tokens and wait a few days, the market will return to its previous state, then you can benefit a lot.

I know that most of the newbies and beginners (especially those who have bought from the top) here in the crypto space are not ready emotionally when the market is down. Of course, expect that either you are depressed or just simply accepting your loss. As for me, I really don’t mind because this is what crypto is all about where I expect the unexpected like it is dipping without warning.

BTC is great for the old-school dollar-cost averaging (DCA) type of investment. Did you know when BTC pumped to almost $20k in 2017 and then crashed to below $3k sometime in December 2018? We all thought that BTC will never go past its all-time back then. But we were wrong. It happened sometime in December 2020 where BTC surged up to $30k and then as much as $68k in 2021.

I believe one day BTC will rise again like before despite that there are no promises or guarantees. This is why I am starting to accumulate BTC while we are still in the bear market as well as not quitting my job and side gigs to keep me afloat of my financial situation.

Sad and happy are just a matter of our attitude towards the market. in the market, bullish and bearish are events that always exist alternately, when bullish, then the best thing to do is to sell them, until we wait for the bearish season to come, and we analyze to get a buying area, after buying of course we are in a period of waiting for the bullish season to come come and make a profit. it's actually like that over and over again in the crypto market

You would really be too emotional i would say.

Being impulsive to buy - Bear market
Being that too aggressive on selling - Bullish market.

We know that market could only move on two different path thats why risk taking is that relevant because you would really be
tending to get deal with opportunities which might ending up for you to make profits in a short time but
everything wont really be a guarantee though.

yes me too, If we still be having a downtrend or a bear market that's a perfect time to buy some assets such as bitcoin. For example bitcoin is around 27k right now, go and buy more if you have some extra money. It is not always downtrend in the market, maybe we can feel some pump during ber months, since it always happen that we can get ATH or pump on Christmas.

When you are good then neither way you could really make money even with the slightest movement with the price but this kind of method isnt for everybody because not all would really
be good on making out some scalping decision or trades which does require extreme knowledge and skills for you to end up to be that sustainable.Market trend could neither give out that
kind of excitement and at the same time you would really be that scared or hesitant which you do presume that things might even becomes more worst compared on what you
are currently seeing at the moment.

if you earn solely form crypto and you did not prepare for the bear market/or you are taken unaware, then you will not like it because the value of your assets are going down. It is really emotional because you feel at loss. You are getting a less value of your assets. But if you earn income from another source, bear market can be an opportunity to make good investment so long as you enter the market at proper timing. So when you don't depend solely on crypto earnings/or you are well prepared for the bear market, then you will not feel it much, the bear market is rather a good investment period.

yes me too, If we still be having a downtrend or a bear market that's a perfect time to buy some assets such as bitcoin. For example bitcoin is around 27k right now, go and buy more if you have some extra money.
I agree that bearish is the time to add more Bitcoin or top altcoins to our wallets. But it doesn't mean we must buy in every dump during the bearish season, do a research to choose the right time to buy. Even though I have funds, I still don't have an intention to buy Bitcoin at the current price for my long-term holding. As I analyzed the possibility that Bitcoin to drop below $25k, I just consider buying when the price is below $25k, probably around $20k-$21k to be the right time for buying.

Bitcoin may drop a little more or not. We don't really know until it happens, so I prefer to not wait too long to buy, otherwise I might face a pump instead of a dump, and then my chance of acquiring bitcoin for 27,000$ or 25,000$ will be over. Investors who wait for the perfect dip end not buying bitcoin at all or buying it more expensive than they would like, due to the market always surprising us when we least expect. Thinking on long run, it won't hurt to purchase bitcoin for 4000$ or 6000$ above the desired price, because once the market enters a new bull run, that price difference will look insignificant compared to the positive bitcoin fluctuations and profit made.

Market downturn is very difficult for those small investors.Because when we invest in some of the profits that we have built up, if we lose a lot of profits then we start to feel bad enough.Maybe there are a lot of angel investors in this forum who have the market down but don't think anything because they don't look at that money after investing their money. When the market goes down we always look at the whole market and break down in despair.

I care nothing about downtrend , even if i can consider to be small investors also ..

but most of like what you called small investors are newbie that is not ready for this kind of market flow, they are even most affected once the market shows this kind of trend.

but if we know how to appreciate this season? you will find the very profitable chance in crypto .

any way to delete conflicted transaction, due to increase fee? i sent the same multiple time by increase the fee each time, now it show those clonflicted transaction in the all transaction tab on bitcoin core, i want to get rid of them
is there any issue when the downtrend comes? why is there any conflict ? I believe that in dumping market the fees starting to fall also isn't that the situation?
we have come here for many time and yes I forgot this is a way to sell instead this is when we need to purchase more and more .

No! Any long term investor would have been waiting for this time. Because this is the time to add good coins to your portfolio and especially buy bitcoin at low price.

Market downturn is very difficult for those small investors.[..]
Indeed, it is difficult for those bought at high. And for those people who jump in the market with all of their money as they need to cash out for their daily expenses.

therefore, it is lesson. dont ever invest your all money only buy with your extra money. so that if market dips after your buying you don't get upset, and can HODL for a long time.

You're right, this time is the placed opportunity for buying the more rather than selling, i woke up this morning to discover the price at $25k and was disheartened all because i couldn't get more funds to put forward an investment on bitcoin, why do you think we all bid more for it even in times of dip like this, because the certainty is there that it will still moves up, this is just a volatility display in balancing the market request on demand and supply.

Wake me up when BTC is about to update new ATH. Speaking about my feelings during downtrend, I would say that the only fact that disappoints me is that new projects in cryptocurrency will either stop appearing, or will be developing much slower than usually. We have already faced situations, when Bitcoin price dropped down 5-6 times and survived panic. Similar would happen now. Wait and enjoy the show. Or better focus on other problems, if you are holder.

I will repeat the experience and history that happened in 2019 around February, about Bitcoin, when it touched the $6000 level, it happened after the halving in 2017.

From one side, the current bear market is an opportunity, hope and opportunity for investors to do something in the future, the next halving, it's a pity for those who ignore Bitcoin at this time, believe it or not what is happening with Bitcoin considering that our history keeps repeating itself and keeps repeating itself.

How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?
I don't hate it, in fact I'd be happy if Bitcoin penetrated the bear market deeper, so I can do something in the future.

Actually I didn't think much of it, and didn't panic too much, but only this time I feel the market conditions are taking too long to recover, and why I say this doesn't panic me too much because I know very well how the movements of the coins in crypto, which of course the price of the coin will pass through two charts, namely up and down, and so is the market trend, it is divided into two bullruns and bearish, I can assure you that every market condition starting from bearish will be the beginning of a very high bullrun market increase.

It seems that many people are waiting for this moment, and it seems that this is the beginning of wealth for people who know how to properly take advantage of the current state of the market.

The bear market is normal in crypto world now but I’ll rather not have it🥲. The market dictates my daily mood. Seeing the market down bad bad is scary, torn between selling at a loss or watch everything go to 0

This depends on. When I have money and wish to buy a coin and the situation is bull market, I feel bad waiting for bear market. But when I have already invested a lot on a coin and waiting for a bull market during a bear market, I really feel bad waiting for bull market. I am sure many here would feel the same when they have gone for long term investment. Waiting for a bull market.

Oh 23K, here we go!
Im expecting 20k and next would neither be some nasty rebound or would really be declining even more lower.  :P

This is the time on where most people been freaking out even to those who had bought on 30k+ price then much sure that they are really that on anxiety or doubts as of this moment.
How much more into those people who had bought into the peak or lets say 60k+ price?

Feeling of being depressed and anxiety is really common within these times which is something not surprising specially everything is going down now
not only exclusive with bitcoin but in all altcoins in the market.

Those who has bough at $60k+ are either have sold already when the prices were between $45-55k, or keep holding.

If you feel depressed, I suggest you to refresh memory of 2018-2019 and the price of $4k, followed by daily growth for $1-2K until hitting $40k and $60k later. Cryptocurrency is a game of patience. Those who have it - wins.

Truth to be told, I'm one of them. Hodling season haha.

Those at 60K might have sold, especially them newcomers. Remembered the 2017 bubble? Same cycle repeats itself.

For those people who had bought on the peak might be banging up their heads on the wall or you are right that they had already sold even when bitcoins price hits down low in 40k or 30k
and now we are sitting on 20kish price then the emotion would be even more stronger and frustration is really there. Repeating cycle? No one anticipated for that to happen
but rest assured there would really be market trend change which is something inevitable because we cant just be like this forever.
Just like on what others been said that no one really knows on when recovery happens and emotions will really be strong on this point.

How do I feel OP?
At first, I was been like in doom see my wallet lower its value. It is certainly a little bit hard to accept that thing but
somehow, we need to do it as we can't do anything about it aside from accepting the reality. Of course, I'd never sell my coins, but I do hold coz I believe that this situation will be getting over soon.

Despite this unpredictable change, I realized that it was really a need for everyone to be prepared. Putting money in crypto has no assurance and if we let our emotions decide for us, it certainly will bring us losses.

There's no assurance thats why its really that always recommended that you shouldnt make yourself to be that hopeful on becoming rich or generate huge profits or income in crypto space.

Well, we are just humans and its normal that we do have that kind of intent but always manage out good risk management because nothing is assured into this market.

Whether you could earn much or would lose much thats why earning and investing on the money which you can afford to lose will always be the key.

Before I took life changing money out it used to dictate my life. Now I don’t really care, I buy cheap coin when it goes down & I cheer when we’re in a bull run. I do not miss the days when a 25% dip made me worry about my future. Don’t get me wrong, i have more than enough bitcoin but I will never worry about a crash affecting my future again.

Now is time to buy, everybody else's pain is your opportunity.

depend on my mood and my desire , Sometimes when I am in need of funds and have no extra to get ? then I wanted prices to Pump so  i can take part of my profit.

but when I wanted to add more crypto? then I pray for the market to dump and that is what happens now.

Maybe I can say, I am sad sometimes but Happy most of the time lol.

You just said the trust because I believe it happens to everyone like that, whenever you need money you will definitely want the coin you are holding to pump so that you can sell and make use of your money and if you are having extral fund to buy coin you will definitely want the price to drop  because everyone wants to buy when the price is very low, so whenever their is downtrend you will definitely be happy, currently am happy because of the current downtrend because I want to bag more bitcoin.

i think that is wrong aspect of holding money or investing cryptocurrency for long time. For you to have or make profit for your investment you have to make out particular time and make your target official for to withdraw your coin during the time cryptocurrency or cryptocurrencies is appreciating. People who buy cryptocurrency and hold do have particular duration limitations before they sell. If you invest and anytime you have money challenges you go to withdraw, it will course problem of lost as investor

I don't think we will go down to that level, but anyway, everything is possible.
If btc will go down to $5k, do you think many will buy or some are still hesitant because they are thinking that the market is very fragile and not worth taking the risk?
In this market, we have our own decisions to take, and for a lot of long-time holders, if that level happens, for sure they will buy more.
But for newbies, I believe, they will be scared of touching the market as it is like unfamiliar territory for them.

To tell the truth, when a bear market starts, I start opening short positions  ;)
You want to create short positions when the market is dumping a lot.But I think you take the most risks.Whenever you want to create and create short positions, if the market is good, but you will lose more. But if you have good fortune and good luck, you can do something good.If you want to make a short position, you must do a good market analysis.

I find the market's downtrend to be something an opportunity for the new investors make their entry. Because, every new investors won't be getting an opportunity to enter the market at such situation and book the profit. Whenever the market is in decline there will be panic statements all around, and it is us who learn the market and stay cautious.

This time the market is experiencing a much difficult time, because it has affected the exchange and cryptocurrency service platforms too. Bitpanda one of the leading platform have fired 730 employees to keep the company's financial health. More other companies like coinbase, Gemini were also on the list. On the same time period FTX have increased its staff to make themselves strong in the market. So, there are positive moves amidst the decline and we need to stay positive taking account of the positive things happening relative to cryptocurrency.

i never hate the market situation whenever there is a bearish situation, in fact when the market is experiencing a price decline what i do is buy more. but before making a bitcoin purchase i always research the candlestick movement whether there will be an upward movement in the future.
so when the market is bearish don't panic too much and try to do some research and start buying more

Thoughts appear, it may be worth selling, and buying back even lower, but such actions are often thoughtless and lead to even greater losses. Now is a good price to buy, even if we fall further, we are still very close to the bottom. Assuming that there may be squeezes down, but I do not know if they will get to 10k.

I would certainly say that it totally depends on the individual situation. There are people who are fine with what they have in terms of Bitcoin, I would assume they feel bad when the market turns bearish. There are others who wish for a better entry point and then I guess a bearish trend is rather what they have been waiting for. There are also people who frequently have enough cash that they are willing to invest. I would assume those are the people who are ok even with downtrends as they see an opportunity in both directions. To summarize, it is between oh yes I can join and didn't miss the train, and wtf is going on please Bitcoin go up again! ;)
