Title: How can i earn a passive income with Altcoins?
Post by: dissi_xD on June 05, 2022, 02:58:30 PM
Hi,

i wanted to create a passive income with the crypto.com lending. But they changed their terms, so i would need a lot more money to get the same result as before (with my plan i would get since middle 2025 ~a monthly passive income).

So now i'm on the search for alternatives. What are your ways to generate a passive income with crypto?

I've thought to hodl BTC and ETH. But i could make a passive income with altcoins (doesn't need to be a monthly income every month; but perhaps ~60$/month) with a one time investment. Those earnings i could swap regulary to BTC.
This would be my, let's say 'minimum-idea'. The best would be to generate a passive monthly income. If you have some ideas for that where i don't need a million or so dollar to realise it, would be even greater  :D

Thanks,
dissi_xD

I'm just promoting the campaign and doing a bit of trading on a few coins that I deem appropriate on some exchanges because it's a very good way for me at the moment although not very passive income, but I've really enjoyed it for now and will probably continue to I run for the future.
That's all I can do in the crypto space, the rest I only work in the real world as a chicken breeder. ;D

Thanks for your answer :)
I've never tried trading becaise of the risk to loose all.
But also if i would generate a passive income with crypto i would still going to work since i need some daily routine  :-\
But some extra money is never an error ;)

The possibilities are almost endless i suggest just some lending on binance or any other large cex or providing liquidity on uniswap or pancakeswap for bsc blockchain or finding the best offers on an aggregator such as 1inch or zapper

There are a lot of ways to earn passive these days even not using centralized entities or centralized exchanges like crypto.com, Binance, etc.
For example, using a decentralized platform like on Solana network, Solend is the best example where you can deposit some altcoins, especially USDT or USDC, and earn some interest, there is also Aave, which is deployed on a different networks like Ethereum, Polygon (MATIC), Avalanche, etc.

Staking and lending are technically the only answer for your question but it doesn't assure you that it will give a profit in general in long term due to volatility and risk of altcoin price losing its value.

UST a stablecoin collapse despite it has a huge Tera volume backing it so what's more on a mere altcoin that offers passive APY. Right now, I don't really see a legit safe passive income on Altcoin.

To be legally safe then the only way is to deposit money in a bank and you will be safe. But with cryptocurrencies, it certainly won't. Along with choosing famous platforms like binance, houbi that are good for staking and lending, to minimize risk as much as possible, you can choose altcoin pairs with moderate APY not too high and no staking term too long.

Even the bank isn't 100% safe, tho. Lowest risk, I agree but if there is high inflation, you lose money even with interest rate. For earning passive income with altcoins, there are high risk and low risk ways. $60 per month is very easy to achieve and relatively low risk in most exchanges with staking. But if you looking for an alternative, I would recommend trying to learn the basics of future trade. You can hit that amount with 2-5x leverage in a few trades.

There are staking website which are legitimate and can give maximum of 8% APY upto $10000 so literally you need to invest 10K to get $80 per month if my mathematical calculation is right. :D

Well, considering the inflation rate around the world right now I will simply go with the HODL option it may not give consistent earning every month but the results are more than your expectations when it goes for years.

A few things you should do before trying out some suggestion is to consider does the reward outweigh the risk.

Lending on a decentralized exchange or staking are solely depends on the platform or the cryptocurrency itself. I mean there is a risk of the platform getting hacked or just like the Solana network who is regularly getting halted. In another hand, even on a centralized services you still possess those risks. There is no guarantee regarding how safe your funds will be.

You can try staking services of some centralized exchanges.  Binance in particular launches several altcoin staking program.  You can check them in this site: https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/c-49?navId=49.  You can read some particular announce about an altcoin staking program, the yied and lock time period.

Here are an example altcoin staking announcement from Binance.

NEO Staking Special: Enjoy Up to 32.69% APY and Share 730 NEO in Rewards! (https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/5bd05ffa7e8e44f1822f48205c2812ab)

That's right, UST is a big project with guaranteed support before it collapses too and is of no value now let alone altcoins, I honestly don't believe the value will be stable let alone provide massive income, even I see now projects that offer large APY at launch tokens are very expensive but a few months later the token becomes worthless, so I think the risk faced is very large for altcoins too.

This is the way I think as well, to begin with the options to earn some passive income are always limited since a great deal of them eventually turn into a scam.

As an example of this there was a time in which cloud mining was very popular and people promoted this as an option to earn some passive income, and instead the majority lost their investment, and I think something similar about staking, while it may seem without a risk you need to wonder about the very real possibility the coin may collapse, as such it is better to look for ways in which you can earn money by taking the right decisions and actions than to look fir a form of passive income, as the risks of losing all your investment are on the high side.

Trading of altcoin will be the best option to earn passive income from altcoin. Many trusted altcoin like Matic, ADA, Ripple, Litecoin and Ethereum. Most of people had invested in etherem last year and earned huge money from it. They had earned their profit in first quarter of this year. But the current market was bearish. It was best time to buy huge amount of altcoin at half the price. Don't think the altcoin will die by the Economic crisis. When the economic crisis reduced, the price of all the trusted coin will increase double or triple of current price.

There are platforms that give high apy for staking or farming depending on the amount you invested.  Such high apy platforms always have a red flag so you should be very careful with them.
And also some of them give this high apy to attract investors in the beginning, after weeks into staking they will reduce the apy. Other than this type of high apy staking platform, I don't think there is a reputable platform that can give $60/month without investing a reasonable amount.

Lol, trading is an active income because it involves your action and your time to execute trade orders to be able to profit or gain income.

Quote
Passive income is money from activities where you have no active or direct involvement. These may be investments you have made where you earn money or work you have done in the past that continues to pay dividends even in the present. In short, passive income describes the idea of “making money work for you.”

Staking is the one considered passive income where your investment earned an allocated APY.

The most basic is staking or lending on the exchange platform and if you want a large monthly income then you can calculate how much capital you have to spend to get it all, even though doing daily trading can also get a large income but with risk big losses because short-term trading requires a strong mentality and patience to do it and because what you want is only passive income without the possibility of loss then the most appropriate thing you do is staking.

Well there are many way to this but mind you it doesn’t mean these are sure successful ways, well people can make passive income from Alt-coin by just as simple as holding it, we have some people that are more interested in short term investment and they can do this with Alts, by some when the price rises that pull out, also so can make that passive Income through trading, well this is more popular for those seeking passive income but it isn’t as easy as it sounds. In general to make passive income you have to have the knowledge.

I've seen such stories before with crypto.com and I can say that passive income with a centralized exchange is a bad idea. First of all, the exchange can change the terms of service at any time, block funds, require documents and other unpleasant things for crypto users. And second, storing money on a centralized exchange is dangerous. If you want to get passive income, choose decentralized pools for stacking and don't chase high APY, because high APY is always temporary and tends to decrease.

Earning passive income with those exchanges are not that rewarding honestly, since they control everything you can’t expect to earn that much. With decentralized platform, there’s a higher chance of making money here though of course there is always risk for this and you should be ready for this. SOL is my option, though there’s a problem with this network right now but if they are able to solve it, most probably this will still be my choice.

Hi,

i wanted to create a passive income with the crypto.com lending. But they changed their terms, so i would need a lot more money to get the same result as before (with my plan i would get since middle 2025 ~a monthly passive income).

first to be clear:

we are in 2022, right? This means that you have made plans so that in 2025 (3 years from now) you will start to have passive income, we are talking about that you have put your precious money on a website so that in 3 years from now you will start to have passive income. I honestly find it hard to even read what I'm writing, my question:

who guarantee you that in 3 years this site will be working? you can say that before they change their TOS you could have passive income long before 2025, but I think that maybe you will only have that passive income next year, whatever the fact is that the site has an owner and the owner can change the TOS whenever he wants and with that he can make people get hurt, so that's the worst investment anyone could make

my advice:

take your money and invest in real world business, at least you will have 100% control

So now i'm on the search for alternatives. What are your ways to generate a passive income with crypto?

well when you do research just find sites like the one you were on there is nothing good about these passive income sites

Just study and work yourself to learn to trade as this will possibly give you a passive income if you can make it right. As some traders made their way went well in trading, this can be also possible to happen with you OP. It was just a need of time and effort to learn about this stuff but I also remind you that not all have been successful in this field, many had quit. So even though I was suggesting this thing to you, I can't be sure that you will have a good future with this, that certainly relies on your capabilities and adoption.

If ever you fail in trading, then have to take the 2nd option which is investing.

How much percentage return are you looking for? As far as I know crypto.com offers decent, reasonable and realistic rates on their platform, just like similar investment sites such as Nexo, Blockfi and Celsius. You won't find any legit services offering much more than that. Sites offering high returns over your investments are hyips and ponzi schemes.

Another option is to invest in specific altcoins which offers higher yield, but it's not for nothing such offers exist... These coins tend to lose value as the time passes, so they pay more interest in a desperate attempt to create a temporary hype to boost the token's price. Some people think it worths, but for me it's not a good idea. Better to invest in solid currencies while earning lower interest, especially when focusing on returns in 3 years from now.

There are more, do research on your own.
Don't ask for financial advice, it should be your own research because that's your money putting on risk, you don't blame other opinions if you have failed on it or get scammed.

Just keep in mind the rule in crypto (not your keys, not your coins), imagine, you didn't hold your asset for how many months and you entrust your fund to a centralized exchange which is has a right to change its rules according to its term of use anytime, it's too risky to entrust them.

I don't go particularly go for lending coins but if coin I am holding has lending option, I lend them. Current examples, osmo, atom, hive, evmos (huge apr atm due to launch incentives).

Mandatorily, not financial advise.

Staking and interest accounts are the closest ones that you can think of. Both are passive income and I think we're having the same idea that I shall do it soon but not this time.
I am aiming for a higher capital on this one since it's a passive income, I want to make sure that I've planned it well and I can bear the risk that I'll take soon.

Best site to earn passive income on stablecoins like usdc or usdt?  And how much percentage would that be?
Just check every exchange's "earn" feature, you'll see the % there.

The way that is very often done by everyone in earning passive income is to work and trade on a trusted exchange like Binance by choosing a good cryptocurrency product so that the income can be very clear and it can be passive income for anyone. So don't dream of getting passive income without working for now because what you get for free usually never lasts in the long term.

The percentage return for stablecoins was 12% p.a. on crypto.com. now they changed it to 8%. Also they made now 3 stages: the first one is until 3.000$ you get 100% of the percentage. Second stage are the next 27.000$, half of the percentage. And everything above that gets only 30% of the full percentage... When i made the plans with the monthly income the percentage was on 12% :/

Would be nice, if i get something like that for stablecoins. But as i said, i'm also happy with ~60$/month to reinvest in BTC :)

I think the less passive income is to use srabelcoin and find a good platform giving out a good apr without compromising its system like the terra did. I am fan of passive income and I do some on farming altcoins using in LP but it did have some risk since you are dwelling with impermanent loss, its only good when the price of both token would not move or differs in price cause it may affect the balance. But using staking of single coin is better.

Thanks to everyone for their answers :)

Many answers were trading. But i don't want to trade to be honest, since at the moment i don't have the motivation to learn about that (i think it's very complicated to know when to buy/sell and i'm afraid of big losses) and because it isn't passive.

Others said staking/lending. This would be more like what i had in mind. Can you guys recommend me some lending/staking plattforms? And do you have some tips, like someone said not to invest in a high APY since they change it fast to a smaller APY? :)

My plan was to make a savingsplan and put every month a number of $ on this site, first in the cro-token to get the next card (which whom i would get a better percentage) and later i would put that money in a stablecoin. Then in 3 years i would have saved enough to get a monthly passive income with lending. Sorry if i didn't said this and created confusion, i forgot to say this.
But now they changed their terms and yes, i know, my plan with the interest wasn't written in stone and it could change every time. First from 12% to 8% p.a. but i could've lived with that, since i don't want to quit my work. So i would still get an extra income. But now the 3 stages ruined my plan. I would need a bigger amount for the same result, therefore it would need longer to reach that amount and in the meantime they change it again and i would need again more money...

This is just my insight. I have been around crypto since 2013 so like to think i've gained some knowledge. I started by mining LTC then went onto cloud mining and got scammed big time. I learned . I then got into airdrops and did well with Deeponion. I joined a couple of project teams and worked for those until one turned out to be a scam and the other one had just one Dev who gave up depsite it having huge potential. So i have seen many scams and the highs and lows of the whole crypto market. I used to spend all day every day on my pc searching out projects to mine or get involved with. But i have now lost interest mostly due to the crap that goes on.i've tried to warn people when i see a potential scam going on and i think i've built up a good truthful image in the crypto world in some Discord servers i've been in. I now only mine Eth and when i have enough i buy Gold coins paying with crypto. You can't go wrong with Gold and it doesn't lose massive amounts of value and cause devastating losses.

Trading cryptocurrency is something that has become very popular over the last few years, and for many people it can be a way to earn passive income. This is because by trading on trusted exchanges like Binance with products such as SOL!!! The crypto market can be the best place to earn passive income, but remember that you need to work hard and pick the best cryptocurrency product!!! And do not rely on financial advice from others, you can always check the trusted exchanges and choose the product that suits your desires to make profits and always remember that the cryptocurrency market is risky so pay close attention to what you do.

Yesterday I decided to just stake some of my coins that are kept in exchanges. Right now my biggest APY is from AXS currently at 81%. It is the governance token of the popular Axie Infinity and a top 50 in terms of coin market capitalization. Though popular and high in mcap but still volatile especially in a long bearish season. Another one I am staking is League of Ancients although it still a new project with its game launching late this year.

Problem is that even the "trusted" exchanges can turn out to be a scam or get hacked. Look at Cryptsy back in the day or Gox or Mintpal. Do not EVER leave your coins on exchanges. That was the number one lesson i learned years ago. If you don't hold the keys to your coins then you don't own them. But that of course means you can't trade your coins. You have to decide how much trust to give to these exchanges. Sure the big ones are well known but you just can't ever know what can happen

I would recommend you Binance BNB, when you stake you received 12% of the amount to stake which have to lock 🔐 it for the period of 21 day, more, maybe you can choose 90 days if you wishes can still receive 12%. Another way to earn is engaging yourself for day trading this depending on your capital and exchange you decided with. Perhaps if that your account have grown a bit then I would have said you should engaged yourself with sig promotion this will as well help you out. You can also enroll your self by doing some bounty's that are trusted and escrowed by some reputable managers.

Any passive income with altcoins involves primarily staking. But such passive earnings are associated with the risks of transferring your coins to other platforms, which can lead to their complete loss. In addition, the altcoin price may depreciate and the profit received from staking does not compensate for the loss thus obtained.

Hi,

i wanted to create a passive income with the crypto.com lending.

Oh, this is another dream to get money without doing anything. As usual, investments that bring passive income sooner or later end in the loss of a deposit, especially if it is altcoins. Holding BTC and ETH already brings you profit, doesn't it, but you want more? Then be prepared for big risks.

If they change their terms, then this should serve as a signal that their former "construction" has become obsolete and is not capable of bringing profit to the organizers, which means that the risks increase.

I think the best option for you will be altcoin staking. There are many interesting projects on the market in this area. Of course, as with any investment, remember about your own research and diversification. The Binance exchange offers a very cool % for many cryptocurrencies in the long term: https://www.binance.com/en/staking However, it involves the risk of keeping funds on the exchange.

Using Binance as a place for staking altcoins is a good choice because Binance has a large list of altcoins that you can stake. But you can't expect to get profits in a short time because staking takes time to get big rewards unless you use a large amount of coins as well. But the risk will also be great if you use a large amount of money. So that will be your choice to use any altcoin to stake.

Others said staking/lending. This would be more like what i had in mind. Can you guys recommend me some lending/staking plattforms? And do you have some tips, like someone said not to invest in a high APY since they change it fast to a smaller APY? :)
For staking, there are wallets that you can do it without being associated to an exchange. The perfect example is with the Ledger wallet. If you own this wallet, you have few choices for tokens/altcoins to stake onto their platform. This is actually one of the best choice, as we know about hardware wallets, they're one of the safest and at the same time it supports staking.

There are staking website which are legitimate and can give maximum of 8% APY upto $10000 so literally you need to invest 10K to get $80 per month if my mathematical calculation is right. :D
Well, I don't know about your maths being correct or not but I know of staking being a veritable mean of earning passively in this industry. I stake and don't really care what the earnings are at the moment. Staking is more ideal than trading if one can't really trade convincingly to save one's life. For instance I've  Polypad staked on its site to earn Matic as I don't feel like trading it, and wouldn't want it being idle by only hodling it.

Quote
Well, considering the inflation rate around the world right now I will simply go with the HODL option it may not give consistent earning every month but the results are more than your expectations when it goes for years.
If you're looking at inflation, then you should stake to earn. Holding your token is idling it. The only side effect to staking is if you stake on rogue site; otherwise you can always unstake whenever you want and still have your tokens intact.

To be honest no one shares their strategy through which they earn money.
But I could suggest you some common ways that many people often follows.
You can trade with cryptos though there is some risk that you might lose some money.
Moreover if you have some talent, then you can just showcase it, for ex - graphics designs, video editing.
At last you can do airdrops or micro tasks in order to earn some extra income.
Do a prior research before choosing any of the mentioned things above.
Wish you a good luck with your earnings.

There are three major ways to earn passive income in crypto:

1. lend funds on a centralized or decentralized platform (voyager/aave)
2. provide liquidity and farm on a decentralized finance platform (spookyswap/pancakeswap)
3. stake or mine (CNDL/Ethereum)

Earning passively is possible, there are different ways to earn passive income such as holding and staking. In holding you are just going to earn passively when the price pumps or increases from the time you have bought it and in staking your coin or altcoin amount will increase. Both have the same risk which is if the price dumps the value will surely dumps as well but for me staking is much better as your amount will increase so if you are lucky the amount you have will increase while the value of that coin also increases.

Hi,

i wanted to create a passive income with the crypto.com lending. But they changed their terms, so i would need a lot more money to get the same result as before (with my plan i would get since middle 2025 ~a monthly passive income).

Usually these platforms only pay 12% apy when you fully fulfill their requirements which involve holding a determined amount of native tokens from the company on your portfolio while also receiving interest on this native currency. If you don't accomplish with any requirements, the interest rates may stay up to 8% apy or similar. At least in NEXO that is how it works. Crypto.com I'm not familiar with yet. I have an account there, but didn't invest on the platform.

What I like about NEXO is that you can access the website through desktop and their frequent, fair and accessible promotions they launch from times to times. It's possible to earn some nice extra money by referring active investors to the site.

Then you shall go to the stable token staking. If you were putting 600 USD with good apy and you can earn good amounts of money. To be honest the result actually depend with the how much APY that offered by the pool. You can also try to farm as well.
This is the best way to get the stable income and your money will become stable as well caused by it was using stable token as liq prov. The volatility will not affect your investment.

Technically we can earn passive income with staking. It's the most popular passive income stream in the crypto space.

Now why I have mentioned "technically"?

It's because in the world of crypto, there are no promises or astronomical guaranteed returns. You can earn native coins and tokens passively, but the prices aren't guaranteed as they are subject to market volatility. But regardless of the outcome, you can still earn passive income in coins and tokens that are either going up or down in value without warning.

Ways to earn passive income out of Altcoins

  • Staking
  • Lending
  • Mining
  • Investing
  • Trading

All that mentioned brings passive income upon the effort of the user. Staking doesn't require much of efforts other than picking the right asset. Lending needs a proper research to find the right platform. Mining requires a big capital funding. Investing is simple, but it has got higher risk. Trading doesn't bring passive income, one need to work on it to make passive income understanding the market fluctuation.

In my opinion staking is for the top class who made tons of money from different fields and can't able to manage all of them also don't want to keep it idle so they stake for decent returns but I am not that much rich enough to keep chunk of money in the staking platform to earn very little return comparing with trading since the value of coins and tokens can drop by 50% in an hour but the return we are going to make a year is about 10% then it doesn't make really sense to me that is why I prefer HODLing so atleast I have the access to funds at anytime so if the funds are needed to make changes with our investment plan we can do at anytime with no loss at all.

I'm very far by wide margin from being a money bag but I've tokens that I've staked and they're yielding daily gains. Whenever I open my dapp to monitor the progress of my staked cryptos I don't check the value. I only pay attention to the rewards in quantity of received cryptos. The tokens may not worth much now but will certainly do whenever the market picks up. That's the way I look at it. For me, staking gives me an advantage over hodling.

It's not that binance has a large list of alts but binance is a big and famous exchange so the security of this platform is sure to be robust and I think binance offers some kind of insurances. It works like you will get something once unexpected things have happened like if ever the exchange have been hacked and you lost all of your cryptos inside it.

If there is one risk that we will be worrying that is the instability of the cryptos that we are staking inside the exchange. We don't know what the future awaits them so we must choose cryptos wisely. If you can afford to lose big then go on and try investing a big amount but if not then don't ever think about it.

we are in 2022, right?

I can't disagree with this. I would even put this as a must to consider when talking about passive income risk.
3 years in the online business is a very long period, and it is very difficult to make a stable income plan. it's not just their TOS, there are many other parameters.

also, on stable coins, APY can be said to be very low. inflation should be taken into account, so I think 8% is almost nothing for a long therm period.

in addition, it is very important whether the OP plans to spend the income immediately, or just wants to collect money in one place.

I have read of the terms for nexo and it's really going to require everyone who wants to earn interest into their platform to hold nexo tokens. It's also based on tier or levels per account based on how many you hold it. I've thought of this platform as a good way to earn passively especially if you've got larger funds. But still, it's an exchange and you don't hold the keys and you should know that risk upon depositing there even if they are guaranteeing that they've got insurance and backed by other legitimate companies.

Your second suggestion makes more sense I think, staking is the safest way (in my opinion), especially if it's done on Binance. Apart from mainstream coins/tokens, Binance also supports other Altcoins, so there will be more options for annual interest (APY).

Daily trading isn't a good idea for making passive income, because the market moves in an unpredictable way. This can bring profit/loss, but for a wee/month's accumulated passive income this can be added. Staking on Binance is a good choice, even if it provides low APY. This is all because of more staking platforms emerging around which provides with unlisted tokens that stay unlisted forever.

The possibilities are almost endless i suggest just some lending on binance or any other large cex or providing liquidity on uniswap or pancakeswap for bsc blockchain or finding the best offers on an aggregator such as 1inch or zapper
With the provision of liquidity is not so simple. Because there are risks of intermittent losses and you can be disappointed by the wrong investment. The option with Binance and lending at interest looks more promising. In any case, a thorough analysis and weighing of risks is what needs to be done.

At the same time, you need to carefully choose a platform for staking, if you still decide to increase the number of coins in this way. It very often happens that an investor sees a large percentage of profitability offered by a dubious platform and decides to place his coins there for staking and as a result of such a decision loses his money.

In general, the best solution is to receive passive income from staking such coins that you do not need to withdraw outside your wallet using the Proof-of-stake algorithm.

I only stake on reputable and trusted platforms like binance, houbi, kucoin... There is no reason to bet on new and unknown platforms, only projects and platforms with matching APY will be selected. not too low and always be wary of platforms that pay unusually high APY.

Hi,

i wanted to create a passive income with the crypto.com lending.

Thanks,
dissi_xD

As a crypto enthusiasts,  I also have desire of making huge returns  from Crypto on monthly bases but it's never been 90% accurate. Few things I've tried is research on some new project, follow up news and once they list on exchange I buy and wait for small pump then I take out my asset and little profit made. Some exchange do Robotics trading that allows users set a Buy price and a sell price, this order executs automatically. This two approach have been helpful but not consistent and not risk free.

The most basic is staking or lending on the exchange platform and if you want a large monthly income then you can calculate how much capital you have to spend to get it all, even though doing daily trading can also get a large income but with risk big losses because short-term trading requires a strong mentality and patience to do it and because what you want is only passive income without the possibility of loss then the most appropriate thing you do is staking.
not all exchanges that well welcome lending, it's just kind of few exchange that can do that, the place you suggested very good and i so much like is daily trading,  if some accumulate it capital and use it for daily trading it is going to make profit because daily trading gives profit but the challenges is that it is very risky to trade. From the trading process you can make money and also lose everything you have.so it should be good to learn and be perfect be going for daily trading. Another one is staking, yes to stake is quite good but what is going to the time duration before you know that you have made a profit. Their is when i like to stake coin but not now.

if you want to make a profit with altcoins then you have to look for the most appropriate moment to buy altcoins that have the potential like some time ago on the LUNC platform you can take advantage of price movements, today the lowest price is LUNC $0.000042 and after that some time in the future immediately jump to This $0.000085 price is the fastest altcoin price movement that can provide a lot of profit for people who dare to take risks by trading on altcoins.

Hi,

i wanted to create a passive income with the crypto.com lending.

Thanks,
dissi_xD
We can only use the crypto space to invest, in a certain way according to the applicable mechanism, or we can also use it following available campaigns, say social media and signature campaigns, I don't really understand the meaning of borrowing as you mentioned, for me here is very limited if you want to make money, so it's better to think about how to invest in potential coins

Although some people say that staking is good for getting monthly passive income, I personally am more comfortable investing in some altcoins that have gained high popularity such as ETH coin, BNB and some other top altcoins because with these coins it is likely to be able to provide better income than Staking if we can apply a mature strategy when we want to enter the market.

have you ever tried farming on nominex? if not, maybe it will be a recommendation that I think is quite good and has good prospects. You can visit the website at: nominex.io

There are many ways to be able to get passive income of course, so what I use today is by promoting good projects and they can pay us if the project is over later, and we can also trade on some potential altcoins and I also often make a profit, so until now I still continue to do it, and binance is an exchange that I often use, because it is very safe for us to use.

There are some more ways to earn passive income such as staking assets on a trusted platform and farming. Very little profit is obtained through staking but it does not have to take the same pressure as trading.
Promoting good projects and some income can be made, but in this case you must choose a good and escrowed project. Because now the number of scam projects has increased.
Staking is one of the few methods available which investors have of earning passive income, another one is to invest in a casino and share some of the profits they can obtain, however the profits you can obtain are on the low side compared to what you can get by actively using your coins.

After all if you become a trader you could obtain the same profits in a single trade giving you a lot more opportunities to earn even more money in the future, so I am not so sure that choosing a passive form of income is the right choice in a market known for its volatility.

I've never tried trading becaise of the risk to loose all.
But also if i would generate a passive income with crypto i would still going to work since i need some daily routine  :-\
But some extra money is never an error ;)
For daily passive income you should start trading and if you want profits by long days time then keep doing on bought top altcoins. Here in crypto world there has only one best way by trading for making profits everyday. Small profits will help you progress daily life so try it now.

Yes, and interest rates have been changed recently. The base level (tier 4) was heavily impacted. Now investors with $25,000 invested or more will earn only 1,5% APY. To earn more interest investors are forced to reach higher tier levels accordingly to how much they have held on the platform. Moreover, extra 2% APY when choosing to receive income in NEXO is only available now for Planitum users, which is the tier 1 status of the platform for investors who hold at least 10% of their portfolio in NEXO tokens. These are huge changes which will prejudice users a lot in an attempt to boost NEXO's volume and price at crypto market.

To earn 5% APY, investors have to sacrifice 10% of their funds for NEXO tokens in order to reach Platinum level. That means it can take up to 2 years until they will recover the investment, unless the platform makes another update during this time period, what is likely, taking the volatility of crypto world and how things here change fast in consideration.

it's not easy to trade and we have to be active to learn, I guess it's not passive income. it is good to learn trading, because we can generate daily income, although it is not easy, but we can learn it. Passive income in cryptocurrencies is like staking, but we have to study it first before deciding. I think investing in bitcoin is an option if we don't have much time in the crypto world, and we can make money in the long term

There are many choices that we can do for earning from altcoins, the easiest and most secure thing is staking, with staking we can earn tens or even hundreds of percent of APY and of course this is a strong reason for us not to panic when we see a red market situation.

The only way I can see is through staking your altcoins (if it does support staking). Or you can use other platforms to store your coins and get a % of profit every day. It is usually between 4% to 8% (APY). Though you should be aware of the risks and know that once you send your coins to those platform, the coins are no longer your own. If anything happens, there is a chance you will lose everything!

Shitcoins usually only pump for a moment, they rely on telegram or discord group to make other users buy, other users buy and then sell slowly so that they make dumps, if we invest in shitcoins then make sure always check prices at least once a day because the opportunity to drop is very significant.

If you just buy and hold bitcoin or ethereum alone, you won't get a stable passive income from it.
The simple way to get passive income from crypto is by staking coin.
Nowadays, there are many farms and pools that provide staking features so we can get passive income from it.

The risks of sending your money somewhere is a big one, it is not to be taken lightly. If it is a website like Binance for example, then it makes a bit of sense because it is such a known and liked place, but that only works for like 1-2 websites, not really a ton of them. Aside from that it doesn't work.

If you would like to make like 5% or whatever on Bitcoin, you can do that on these big name exchanges and between the price of btc going up, and you making a bit more of it as well, it would help you gain a lot of money in the long term, but you need to be careful about picking where you do this. Aside from that, I agree that it is only coins that has staking function.

Buying staking coins and hold it or lending your altcoins in a company like crypto.com and they will pay you doing it.

Right now, earning passive income in crypto is easier because you can pick which coin/s would you like to buy. Just make sure that you will be picking those top staking coins. If you have some mining rigs too then you can mine POW coins as well and it is considered passive income as well.

Buying enough Cryptos and storing it for the purpose for long and short term is one good basis strategy of crypto. Trades earn passive income with staking and keeping coins for either short or long term. Others do mining of some tokens and they wait for the lunch date of the token. But the best part is staking of coins and buying for short term, especially Gem coins which are mostly found on Kucoin exchange. Gaining profits in Crypto is becoming easier by the day because most traders are coming up with most ideas inother to access passive Profits in the space.

^ I disagree on this, why?
You are not holding your own coin which is you will entrust into a company which we don't know when it will turn out to scam, probably in a short period of time, like months, but I don't think if you have put a huge amount and entrust into an exchange, you will become paranoid in that whole period of time thinking about your asset. I think the passive income would be trading, that is if we are talking only about passive income but when we are talking about risk, it definitely has a high risk that could wipe out your entire capital.
Passive income altcoins? pump and dump probably.

Indeed altcoins and tokens are volatile, but the higher the risk, the bigger the profit usually.
Personally, i prefer to use top decentralized platforms such as uniswap and pancakeswap to stake or farm coins/tokens.

Not all risks have to be met with profits. it will only apply to market potential assets. while for tokens from new projects, everything is speculative. even tend to be a greater risk than the benefits that can be obtained.

Stake assets are indeed the best way to get passive income. rather than waiting for assets that are just stored in the wallet to be pumped. we can wait while risking our assets to get passive income. but it won't get you a huge APR. except it is a new token and also stakes a new platform. sometimes they offer very large APR.

But not everything is safe, so only stake on the most reputable exchanges like binance, FTX, along with that choosing a coin to bet is also an important issue. Staking as well as holding for a long time, so if you don't learn carefully but only focus on the profits they spend, it is very dangerous. If you choose the wrong coin you will not only generate passive income but also lose money, not every coin will recover after the bear market ends.

That's sad to hear if they changed their terms. They did it maybe because they think it was too easy? And now many people have started using it, that is why but how much is that "a lot" of money you mean? If that is only a hundred more dollars then I think you can still afford it. They increase it but maybe the returns have also got better than before?

If yes then you better continue on availing that. Having enough money to continue your subscription is the only thing that you will be minding for now, and not about other non existing ideas but I will still try to answer it only to give you contentment. The other ways to earn a passive income that I know are staking and hodling/investing.

You need to make long term investments in altcoins, as the period of exorbitant and rocket price rises of altcoins is over and now most of the altcoins are showing a slow and sustained growth, but yes if you have a substantial holding you can lend it on some centralized exchanges.

Choosing an altcoin to make a long-term investment, you must really understand the condition of the coin, if we choose the wrong altcoin, it may not provide an appropriate return, personally I prefer potential altcoins to invest in the long term, because if not altcoins it is feared that they will simply disappear in the market, and as a result we will experience losses at any time, when investing in altcoins, to maintain a balance of investment, it is necessary to choose good potential altcoins and have future movements
That's why it's important to do research first because by doing that we get more detailed information,
this information is certainly very helpful for us to make decisions and at least to minimize errors in choosing coins,
Talking about long-term investments, I think top coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB are the right choice

It all depends on how you want to earn it whether through holding the altcoins you intend to buy or through trading it to make nice profits depending on whether you are good in trading or just a semi protrader in the field. You can also earn by staking your altcoins to earn through APR. There are so many ways to earn in the market to make extra profits.

It's very good if you start saving BTC and ETH, but this opinion on coins will be very passive, because the purchase price is quite expensive but when you sell it doesn't give a big return, moreover the capital you have is not so much and big to convert the coins.

You should also start paying attention to potential altcoins, whose purchase price is not too high, at least you have to hold the altcoin until it reaches the maximum selling stage, I think BNB, Metic and Solana are enough to cover passive income from BTC and ETH returns

To earn passive income in the market depends on your risk appetite and funds at your disposal. One of the ways I earn passively is through staking on binance. The amount is relatively low but there are little or no risk. The rate are quite low and considering the market volatility, it is best not to compute to avoid getting discouraged.

Short term trading method or the best time trick many people do to earn passive income, by trading on crypto you believe in, mostly done by people like Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is valued very effectively in price movement over time, but you must understand the analysis, charts and market conditions before committing, passive income in Altcoins other than Bitcoin not sure, unless you invest long term, but not monthly.

I think team and roadmap are important but the tech part of the project matters, but marketing matters too and it's even more important... again no product - no people, no income
I can definitely recommend you to check out Point Network

Farming and staking is a safe way to earn passive income from altcoins at this time, I think now many exchanges have provided services for their users to staking and farming, for farming I personally prefer using pancakes or BSC wallets, doing farming does not generate big profits, but at least the assets we have can be increased and maintained.

It's all coins or token you can earn passively,  there is need to for a close investigation or study in order not to fall victim. Study the future of any coin before investing. There are very many good coins you can earn passive income and talking about passive income, you must invest mostly in this bear market. Bag more good altcoin. Coins like ISP, Ojx and so many other like Kyrrex too. Those will give you passive income late September to October this year

Well, I would just to tell you that never think about passive income here, in crypto. You may consider this as other sources of income but not a so-called -passive. Why?
 - profit assurance - due to price volatility and it also depends on the investor

We can't just simply think that investing in crypto will make us rich. We have to erase that mindset as this could be the reason for our failure.
We can do trading as perhaps a good earning way in here but yeah, it requires knowledge and skill, and I'm not sure if you can manage the stress of doing this.

for some people to earn passive income from altcoins is very difficult. unless you have a large number of stablecoins and then you bet like on binance. But for those with small capital it will be difficult. I myself can get a decent income but it can't be said to be passive income. High risk is one that must be faced in alternative coins. So I myself do not choose to invest long term in altcoins. and I actually only trade on a medium scale. i.e. enter in a coin that is hype or will be hype and exit or sell when it is profitable, usually at the peak of the hype or when the hype is still going on. Don't wait for the hype to end.

Hi,

i wanted to create a passive income with the crypto.com lending.

Thanks,
dissi_xD
There are a lot of ways to earn passive income in altcoins you can do trading, you also do staking but you need to search or investigate first the staking platform before you do staked your coins, because in staking you need to trust the platform because you will give them the permissions to hold your asset, so in order for you to be safe from scam you need to do research the platform that you will used on staking your coins.

You can search for great projects and try to predict what will be the next trend or which project has a potential
I think team and roadmap are important but the tech part of the project matters, but marketing matters too and it's even more important... again no product - no people, no income
I can definitely recommend you to check out Point Network
Pretty sure that you'll be impressed

yeah point network is nice, their roadmap is impressive

There are a lot of ways to earn passive income in altcoins you can do trading
Trading is considered an active income because you need to spend time checking the market to buy and sell with profit.  But if you invest in bot script then it can be considered passive income because you let the bot do the trading but I think it is trading with the use of a trading bot.

, you also do staking but you need to search or investigate first the staking platform before you do staked your coins, because in staking you need to trust the platform because you will give them the permissions to hold your asset, so in order for you to be safe from scam you need to do research the platform that you will used on staking your coins.

Staking is indeed a passive way of earning income with altcoin but it is very risky because our fund is not in our hands.  There are lots of cases where the project that offers the staking do a rug-pull in order to exit scam and take a run with the investors' deposits.  So we need to be very careful if we want to venture into this kind of investment.

The easy and safe thing we do for earnings with altcoins is to use it for staking, even though the market is still red but I can earning from staking in some top exchanges and dex exchanges, besides that if we focus on the long term then use altcoins for staking is the thing better.

passive income on altcoins is very easy to get, one of the popular ones is by staking,
many altcoins with features like this, even Ethereum will also be staking, or the easiest way is to register on Binance,
because there they have an easy staking feature and very user friendly.

Of course, it's not a good idea to hold coins during a bear market, but not everyone gets out in time when a bear market occurs. For those who have not had time to cashout and still hold, I think instead of holding them in the wallet and doing nothing, we can take it to staking to increase the number of coins.

I think your advice is very good, but I want to ask you something, do you have these plans in your portfolio? I mean, if you are currently enjoying the benefits of staking on those sites, for me one of the most reliable has been Binance, but honestly I have never staked there, I have only staked on a decentralized exchange called Biswap and the truth is that it is not not bad, but I would like to know opinions about binance, and how long have you been there and if the profitability corresponds to the one they put there? and also when the market is bearish? how do you put all that? Does the staking increase or is it just static?

I'm against staking in the bear market or red like you said. The reward isn't worth the time your coin lock behind an amount of time when the market under strong volatility which you can be mitigated by cutting loss and pulling out. Or by sell and buy back it later when it dips further if you want to hold that coin in long term, net in term of that coin.

There are some risks on alt coins. Price could dump anytime and is this bear market situation, anything could happen.
In this situation, we could only rely on stable coin staking. It may have less APY or ROI compare to those Altcoins, but with that comes the minimum risk. There are good amounts of well known platforms which provides this staking option.

Yes, staking is one thing we can do in times of market conditions like this to keep making a profit,
but then again not everyone can do that and they also need to consider,
Top altcoins like Ethereum, BNB, or Matic I think it's worth buying and suitable for long term investment

If you're for Ethereum, stakingrewards.com suggests top 10 staking providers.

1. Binance staking - custodial
2. Kraken - custodial
3. Bitcoin Suisse AG - custodial
4. Stake DAO - decentralized
5. StakeWise - decentralized
6. Guarda wallet - decentralized
7. ANKR - decentralized
8. MyCointainer - custodial
9. Cream Finance - custodial
10. Blox Staking - decentralized

You should understand that if you're fine for holding it, you should just hold it. But if you're also trying to make out from it while holding it, you can stake it but make sure that you choose the right platform and understand what custodial and non custodial means and as well as centralized and decentralized. Based on the info from the website, all of those altcoins that you've mentioned are supported in ANKR and MyCointainer.

One of the best ways of earning passive income is by trading cryptos. It does not need to be on full time basis. It could be periodically when you feel the volatility of the market could be favorable to you. Trading on full time basis would need a lot of computations and graphs as well as luck to make the right trades.

What happens is that operating in this way is trading and practically it is like betting, it is not a bad thing, but it will also leave everything in the hands of volatility, and really taking the course of volatility is like entering a casino and give yourself the opportunity to leave everything to chance, for me in gambling I accept it, because it is something that you already know you are going to have fun, but in terms of trading and investment you cannot and should not leave everything to chance or random, because for that there is the analysis that one does oneself, it is the best that can be done, however, of course this is my thinking.

Let's put that thought aside, this is not a place that can make you rich quickly without having to do anything.

If you are determined to invest for a long time then you can use staking on famous exchanges, the reward you get is the token that you stake, staking will help you increase the number of tokens for you. In a bear market, it would be nothing even a loss. However, if you can get in a bull market and your coin performs well, you will see a substantial amount of profit.

Staking should only be done to really good top altcoins that have a good future ahead. Not just any stake able altcoin in the market fall under this category so I believe we should careful in choosing what coin for staking.

Matic will be good, its cheap and staking MATIC is also available even on binance itself.
If unsure, he could also be using the stablecoin staking,  this I think is good to do in bear market unless he picks a project like Luna. Stablecoin staking is less risky than altcoin staking and all he needs to make sure is that his coins stays in his custody, I'm not sure if there is something like this however.

Maybe to some platforms. I have not tried doing it on WAVES exchange but what I stake in waves.exchange are WAVES token.

You need to be aware of the fact that cryptocurrencies are still not a mainstream currency, so buying them alone is a risky investment. Any indirect function that cryptocurrencies perform will depend on the basic price. I think you should focus more on what a given cryptocurrency is useful for, not on the percentage of profit you can earn from loans.

You can take advantage of several features in several existing exchange platforms to get passive income in them because there are many ways to get it all, but to be able to get large passive income, our capital must also be large because some percentages such as staking lending have a small percentage because if we want to earn more it is better to trade.
passive income is something that you generate all have through a wisdom it is a wisdomatic human being that knows how to create a means of survival lending someone money is another way of passive income and here it is something that involve much money 4 distribution and the smaller percentage will be made or make every time business or someone want to learn from you
