Title: Can you predict the caption
Post by: Zilon on June 13, 2022, 01:41:52 AM
If Bitcoin eventually falls to a price where every one begins to panic can you guess what the headline will look like in your own country. I was thinking on preparing the minds of new investors because truth be told the newsletters will stir up FOMO and FUD but as a community of crypto investors staying mindful of the expected outcome should be a necessity.

We could get funny captions like "Bitcoin Finally crashed", or something even more terrifying like "Investors losses their assets to Bitcoin despite Government warns". staying up to date with the routine and structure of the law of supply and demand will be a good way to treat the news eventually the price of Bitcoin becomes even more scary

Lol that's nothing. If anything, I highly expect to see "Bitcoin is finally dead" news headlines and takes from "journalists".  Once again adding to the endless list of Bitcoin obituaries.

And the history will repeat itself shutting up the haters who will again claim bitcoin is dead for God knows how many times.Each time it's going down it's like they have been on loop to print these obituaries without any base  ;D But those who believe in and understand about Bitcoin knows what's going to come next so there is only these fake claims for them and btc rise with more pumps.

When Bitcoin loses its value, which I believe it will not, the government and many people who do not believe in Bitcoin will start saying many things that make it appear as if they knew it was going to happen.
But, to be honest, most of us here have a strong belief in Bitcoin; we all know it will never fall below $19,000, and even if it does, we hope it will bounce back; any type of News Headlines should not even divert our attention because investors will undoubtedly bounce back strongly.

 Hehehe! All these BTC prophets of doom will be gloating should a thing as tragic as BTC crashing should ever occur. I doubt it would fall although investors will be panicking, thinking that another Feb, 1st 2011 wants to repeat itself. I can just picture an epic headline like "BTC finally answers the call of nature". Insane, right? I know.😉😁

Normally when Bitcoin dips, abnormal Nigerians on social media (especially Facebook) utilize that opportunity to lampoon those of us who are in the crypto industry. I read their comments and shake my head at their ignorance. I've gone passed that age of caring anyone. It was in 2018 that their jabs gave me a second thought about this industry as I was virtually new then. Now, I'm made of steel. I know Bitcoin won't disappear that way. Various financial institutions and governments know that. If ignorant individuals refuse to up their knowledge on Bitcoin, that's their kettle of fish and their loss.

Even if I get to read, "Bitcoin finally dies" or in a worse scenario "Bitcoin, the world antichrist" I will be the least moved.

Moments like this becomes very daring for young investors but, not for people like me. Altcoins I might be scared of but not bitcoin, nope not at all. I have never imagined it and hope not to entertain any fear passed around but to say the least, some detestful headlines and bloggers are sure to make the most of them.

Let me try dropping just a few;
"Satoshi finally takes profit"
"Satoshi Bitcoin is finally dead"
"The bitcoin scheme that started over a decade ago is finally dead"
"Bitcoin, the biggest fraud of all time"

There would be lost of these  but the truth is, bitcoin isn't crashing. Its just the other side of the market of the market that we aren't so pleased with playing out #Bear market. Suck it up!

This is a time I have been waiting to see,  some people don't know times like this is also important to some people the way it is also important to others when the market is bullish. People should learn to expect every  moment of bitcoin and not to feel panic when it goes dip unexpected. I always tell beginners if they can't stay placid when the market goes dip their is no need to invest in bitcoin, like it is always said if you don't deserve a dip you also don't deserve the bull.

I think this advice is not for beginners alone, it goes to everybody who is into the cryptocurrency market, you can not expect to get positive results every time, especially in bitcoin, the market is in dip you have to endure so when everything gets better every investor will also be happy. Most people who panic when the market is in dip are mostly those who may be used their life savings hoping that Bitcoin will make them millionaires overnight, good advice the bull should be for those who endured the dip.

a market crash like this is making the FUD caption stronger, there will be many captions or news headlines about bitcoin's misfortune which is in a bearish state. Those who start to panic will only destroy their minds, because they use their savings to buy bitcoins.
but on the other hand when the market is crashing like now, some people use this opportunity to buy gradually and wait until the bullish time is reached. the market won't crash forever, there will be where FOMO happens and it becomes a bull market.

The "bitcoin is dead" FUD is old and is not regularly used anymore, they've long come up with new FUD which we are already seeing which is trying to fool people into believing a big lie: "bitcoin crashed because US stock market crashed" and we have to get used to seeing this FUD for a couple of more years until people start seeing the truth and go back to what they were doing in the past 13 years which was to buy bitcoin whenever US stock market crashed.

Some epic headlines:

"What Goes Up Must Come Down and Stay Down: The Case of Bitcoin"
"Humpty Dumpty had a great fall"

These are the news headlines that readily come to mind. I can imagine David Gerard and his goons on the Reddit forum called Buttcoin happily celebrating the news. Maybe Netflix might do a film on it. No, but this isn't going to happen. Not now. Not ever.  Bitcoin will succeed.

"Bitcoin buyers face huge losses as Bitcoin tumbles."

Firstly suggest to move it on bitcoin discussion or speculation thread.

Headline could be massively comprises of "bitcoin dead in the water"

As far as the market concern, I believe this is an old linguistic tricks to stir up weak investors and only whales can benefit in the end. Besides, 1btc is 1btc, crash or fomo it will be the same. So nothing can stop from holding those true bitcoiners.

The media in my country is already actively following all these events in the crypto market and the comments, including the front pages, are very catastrophic and negative about the crypto.
It is mostly mentioned that a lot of naive people invested in crypto in hopes of getting rich and crypto fell to less than a third of its value in less than 2 years, so they all lost big money.
Of course, the media are happy to mention that criminals also like to use cryptocurrency due to anonymity, and that crypto is not regulated and legally protected.
Caption?
Maybe somedthing like this: The crypto has collapsed, millions of people have lost their life savings. The biggest scam of the century!   ;D ;D

People are finally seeing Bitcoin as the ponzi scheme it is, or something along those lines is something I saw when the whole Celsius circus began. I don't really pay attention to mass media headlines but you see them anyways one way or the other. They are just trying to sell whatever can be sold and right now it's Bitcoin crashing and destroying everything in its path. ::)

Is it better to be uninformed or misinformed, that's the real question?

Actually, I don't mind it whatever caption they give to bitcoin if it keeps on falling down.

The media has already given a lot of bad captions for bitcoin and nothing new will happen even if they make another captaion and headline that will trigger every bitcoin investor just for the sake of their contents.

Fundamentally, bitcoin has achieved a lot of things on this current cycle and the media won't even publish it.

Nothing new about this since there are several people especially those new entrants and been hype up with different project give this word because the only thing they knew is rug pull and run scheme made by developers. But if we just see how bitcoin goes and watch its amazingly statistical data we can see that what happen before might also happen these days, for sure people will find out that price recovery will still happen soon.

There are a lot of bad captions when the Bitcoin price drop and this isn't new, everytime when there's a downtime on Bitcoin, haters will always have that kind of negative caption or media give negative headlines which they think becomes more catchy to the eys of the readers, it seems "oops, eyes on here".  I didn't surprise if there is, but the true thing is with us true Bitcoin enthusiasts which truly understand how Bitcoin will work, and during a downtrend, we know that it will recover soon.

But when there's a new ATH will come, what common headlines that we heard?  "It is time to buy Bitcoin" "invest Bitcoin now" which is we know that they're in the wrong decision.  IMO, let them be.

newsletters will stir up FOMO and FUD...
This happens to be a specialty of media houses, and what we can expect from them, the hype and twisted captions they can give to a situation mostly to increase their audience. People who do not bother getting a detailed story/report of a situation and just skim through headlines fall prey these captions from newsletters the most.

If it is a government controlled media house, the captions you may get will mostly be in favour of the government, such as;
- Government CBDC's, a better option than failing bitcoins.
- Investors Ignore Government Warnings, Suffer as Crypto Bleeds.

If it is a media house free from government influence, the captions are more likely to provoke you into questioning your decision to Hodl. Captions like;
- Crypto too unpredictable, not a good investment afterall.

My country is very spiritual because we believe in prophesies from religious leaders. Many of them would start making claims about their past prophesies about about the fall of Bitcoin. So I expect headlines like Bitcoin Armageddon and Prophesy Fulfilled from our religious leaders. The government of my country has been against the use of  Bitcoin, infact it is illegal in my nation. The central bank of my country have predicted that Bitcoin would loss its worth in future. Hence I am expecting headlines like Bitcoin Fall: Central Predictions Accurate and Bitcoin Catastrophe: Always follow Central Bank Directives  . Our politicians would use it to score cheap political point. Hence expect headings like this; Bitcoin Fall: Our Economy is stronger . I am visualizing one that say; Help! Help! Bitcoin is Drowning

Many will even go as far as digging up old sermons that has a small resemblance to bitcoin price fall and tag it a prophecy. Prophecy fulfilled will be what a typical religious blogger will caption their title. Nevertheless Bitcoin price is not moved by an sort of religious or superstitious believes. Politicians are even more happier seeing Bitcoin price dip even further because many will sell off due to FUD and prefer to follow the old fiat method

If someone is says bitcoin is dead at this particular price. Then, it means the are probably new to Bitcoin or Bitcoin is a Vampire who dies and wake from dead at some specific period of time.  :D

Yeah Yeah, you know what I know, lol, religion will probably be a big issues for Africans.
A female Nigerian singer sang a song saying " Bitcoin dey my wallet like this " meaning have got hold of Bitcoin in my wallet, since the down movement of Bitcoin, are line has been used to crack several jokes, saying she must have sold are BTC already. Also had a dialogue with an elderly friend from the church and I gave some ideas bto him about Bitcoin, and he was like "Bitcoin will be the general money used by the world in doomsday" I had thought over over and over and it couldn't slide, couldn't help but stop telling and exchanging words with him about BTC ever since.
