Cryptocurrency is now in a big crashing. And whole crypto marketcap now under $1Trillion. What will the next? and How long do you think it will take for the market to recover?

Of all the coins listed by you, Chain surprised me the most, the price of which decreased the least from its ATH. After checking the charts of coinmarketcap, I see that the maximum price of this coin was at $1.03. Now it is trading at a price of $0.027. Thus, the Chain coin lost 98% of its value from ATH.

This is not happening for the first time I guess?
When Bitcoins were around 20k usd, it once went down to 3k usd and they again it started recovering.
Same is happening now.
I would suggest all the members to not panic and show some patience.
Give some time to market and wait.
Once Bitcoins start gaining the pace and rise in price, all altcoins will also follow it’s lead.
In the meantime buy as much as Bitcoins if possible and wait for the market to skyrocket.

The market is bloody. We don't even know what part or year of history is repeating itself. Hopefully this might just be a sign to the end of the bearish season.Buy all you can if you have the funds but also know that not trading at the moment is also a form of trading especially for those who have their funds stuck in other alt coins , even in BTC. Alts do not respond immediately like BTC but will respond with time

Next is unknown whether it will stay for longer just as how it went in 2018. I'd say that expect the worst thing to happen during this crash and we don't know how long it will be there.

I opened my social media account yesterday and I saw some comments that they will leave crypto because of this bear market and it is no longer profitable to them. This bear market is very painful but we need to stay stronger.

Oh, I was wrong in saying that Bitcoin will never fall below $25k. I could say now that this is the real bear season that people are waiting for and some are getting afraid of. The sudden huge price dive may be because of the issue with the US banning Bitcoin mining and market inflation. It is how sad to see the huge impact of that thing causing panic selling.
Kinda be saying there is no perfect prediction, all of a sudden this makes it happen and everything has changed.

For those who were saying before that they missed out the opportunity.

But one thing the I'm sure, this isn't new in the crypto market, there was a huge crash before when the Bitcoin price hit $3k on the market but after how many years there's a recovery and even hit a new ATH and I think it seems it's a relevant scenario.

Its just repeating its history repeatedly, so i dont have any worries about the downtrend, as an investor its a great opportunity to invest now rather then waiting for its recovery and sitting doing nothing in this bear market will regardlessly make you feel regret for not buying such cheap price, as of investor myself in  2017 i have seen such things and nothing really change you can still enter this market  and will still be early to adopt crypto.

conditions will improve if global economic conditions improve. This has to do with fiat money being messed up. Not just in crypto but the whole field. Even from 1 month ago many analysts predicted btc to 21k. then I think this will no longer be a surprise to those who follow the news constantly. if you look at the monthly chart then hopefully in August market conditions will rise again.

To those people who are claiming that they do know on where price could head up then its just fraud.No one on this world has the power to know the future  which is impossible.
We do see this crypto winter and this isnt the first time that it do happen into this space which basically means that it could really happen on some time and now is the time.
Prices are dropped 80% or more which something that could really make you scared and checking out your portfolio isnt really that a suggested thing to be done.

I think you might have got the coins mixed up. OP is probably referring to ChainLink which is trading at around $5.7 at the moment. OP's data is also inaccurate in terms of percentage loss from all-time high as Chain Link as at 90 according to hbtcath.com

The downtrend is likely to continue further until most shitcoins die.

I already expected this before especially when Bitcoin managed to drop below $40,000. Altcoins are the most devastated during these dumps.
Talking about the market recovery, the worst for me it will take years. If we follow the cycle, I am expecting it will recover months before the bitcoin block halving which will be in the year 2024.
Just take note that these bloody market is not only on cryptocurrency market but on others too, like stock market.

I think whenever it's bullish season it's same cryptocurrency you have in wallet will accelerate to to meet up same value you bought irrespective the value of the coin it will still fall back to the initial.

I have to say 90% is a bit too much for some of these. I get the 70% and even maybe 80% ones like some of them are ok, but anything above 80% is destined to be a bit too bad.

I say 70% to 75% right now is the max I can accept. Look at btc, that is just +65, or ETH which is a very high 75+, bnb is doing fine with 67% and so forth. XRP on the other hand, that one had the ATH in 2018, I can tell you that much and you should understand what we are looking at ,they didn't even have their ATH during 2021 or anything like that, it was back in 2018. I guess we know which ones are better to invest right now and which ones we should be staying away from.

We are all on having the same question on when recovery would happen.
We are on deep reds came from those ATH's but this isnt the first time that we've
seen on how this market behaves but for those new ones then its a normal reaction to have.

We must decide to buy now or wait for the next low.
But we all know that no one can guess what the lowest bitcoin price will be.
Therefore, deciding when to buy a position will be crucial because we must analyze it before placing a buy order.

As usual we cant predict accurately on what might happen next. What I know is this is the moment to fill our bags because the current price of coins are quite cheap compared to the past months. Well, Bitcoin can go lower, -80-90% from ATH! Now we are at -65%, if we see history repeating itself once again I guess we will see BTC price going down a bit more!

Nobody can say what will happen next, but my thinking is that in the next 2 years we will see fluctuations around this price now! Probably we will have some bull trends from time to time, and maybe we can see the price of BTC over $20k at some moments, but that will be a short breath... I expect rough two years, and when halving gets closer we will see something more serious happening in crypto!

the market is showing improvement although slightly. but this is too short. be careful with bull traps, this often happens when the market is bouncing fast.

Others say that reversal may possibly happen on or after September but I think it will start to recover after the 2nd quarter of next year due to the incoming Bitcoin halving in May of 2024.

And once positive news fill in the market, bitcoin will dominate again and influence the whole crypto coins with its positive price. If you see the previous history of Cryptocurrency you will  find there this types of incidents already  happen here. If you look at the bearish market 2k18-19 after the bull-run of 2k17 almost the same thing happened there. But after 2k18-19  market again return back to bull 🐂 . It is being heard  that 2022 and 23 markets will be bearish and market bull will run again in 2024. Now let's hodl and see what's going to happening

If  you've been here on this market then these conditions wont really make yourself freaking out and telling that it would really be gonna be the end of the market which is something bullshit for you to believe on but instead you would be treating this as some ordinary day that we do have in crypto where market could neither be bearish or bullish depending on the trend.

You cant really able to tell it on the first place on what it would be thats what makes it unpredictable on the first place.Huge down could happen and huge pump could also happen too.
Speculations would be a never ending thing and this would really be your primary routine when dealing on crypto space where price will be always unpredictable.

Isn't it clear that right now is a bearish period so all crytos will experience a very drastic decline? This has happened before, even worse. For me crypto won't recover anytime soon and will just start early 2024 because of bitcoin halving event. Despite of this bear season, this is a big opportunity for us to buy those coins you said  and hold them until the next market cycle because most of them are almost down 100%. Once this bear season ends and cryptocurrencies starts to go parabolic again, it won't be difficult to earn double of our investment.

If you say huge down but i think all time down has not yet come.Next things will be all to me low. Crypto has been challenging assets for our society. It has given huge returns but now crypto has become a very controversial assets when everybody don't have any solution or criteria to help people who has invest in this projects. Right now is not the time to worry about ATH in my opinion. We are in a completely different world in 2022 than we were in back in 2021. Times have changed with the Russia Ukraine war, global economic downturn and rising inflation rates. Also many people don’t speak about it, but we are still fighting with covid. The virus keeps mutating and the vaccines are not effective anymore in stopping the spread. I keep hearing about people who are 4th vaccinated and still get infected with the new variants. That is why the Bitcoin and other crypto prices can't be at their ATH again with all that uncertainty in the world. What is happening next are we seeing right now, the bitcoin price is moving around the 20k USD barrier. It rises up a few weeks only to bounce back down again. Long term we will see another bull market and hopefully new ATH in the next year, but right now I think prices will remain pretty much constant with a high volatility in the market.

Those countries that are still not yet recovered with their economy are really facing the worst from this financial and world crisis. Inflation is getting higher and each country can't skip it.

Are you sure all of them? Maybe you missed look something. What about shiba inu and maybe xrp? Although xrp is much safer than shib since it wasn't really a meme coin, more if they win their case. The market seems going on the positive direction already so indeed it is necessary to shop our favorite coins now because this can be the last time to see them at this price point even though the best time for buying is already over.

It was last time when the price are still lower than what we have now. Correction is when the price falls by a certain percentage so it is not a good time to sell but it can be a good time to add more coins in our bags.

being honest I do not believe that litecoin as well as many altcoins will reach ATH again, when it is said that investing in altcoins is something dangerous people need to listen, imagine who bought at 413$ and today sees 62$, this is a big loss

I agree, people do not give Litecoin enough credit but in reality that is a much better coin with a lot better results in the long run. I would guess that in 10 years time most of the coins in the top 10-20 will be gone and Litecoin would still be around. Of course it is not as big as btc, eth, bnb right now but I have always put LTC as my fourth biggest coin of all time.

There last few years and the drops have made it go down the rankings, but I believe that it is not important to be high, it is important to stay high and many coins that people look at these days will not have anything going on in the near future whereas litecoin will still be around. I take a coin staying in top 30 for 10 years over any coin that stays there for 5 years and then drops.

Isn't it obvious that since we are in a bear market, all cryptocurrencies will see a sharp decline? Even worse things have happened previously. Like for example let's compare SOL vs LTC, it is true that SOL has done a lot better for the early investors, if you take it from early days of SOL and compare them then it made people a lot more profit, but I bet that in 10 years we won't even remember SOL let alone being in the top 20, whereas I believe that Litecoin would still be around by then. Yes, Charlie is still active but that was after he see the result of his decision some years ago and for the record, he sold all his LTC holdings. Although, he may later buy back after some die-hard enthusiast of LTC talks to him about the consequence of this decision.

Technically, LTC is one of the top 20s, and the competition in the crypto market is different from 4-6years ago. The only way LTC can claim the top 10 spots will be if they introduce something unique into the market which will solve some problem in the market or if the LTC dev team raised an army of shillers just like this Shiba inu coin team does.

I agreed and that's why I hold a couple of it but 95% of crypto enthusiasts these days are after profit and always flock to the most profitable or hyped coin.

That is the point, Litecoin doesn't go down to nothing, it stays and as long as it keeps on staying at these levels on ranking, the price will keep on rising more and more. People may not understand whats so special about it since there are better blockchains invented, but bitcoin has been pretty similar to how it started out and it is still number one.

So, what matters is not the tech (of course that matters too) but more about consistency and Litecoin has been profitable for us for so long that I doubt people would really mind if it started to go up, people would probably say they expected such a thing and buying now and waiting for a very long time could yield such a huge profit.

Actually I totally agree with your assumption on this one. Many traders and investors seem to overlook some of the above simply because they are so focused on future returns and don't consider what the function of the asset they are investing in does. I would even venture to say that they don't want to know much about the assets they invest in other than just expecting huge returns as a result of their investment.

Market is a cycle, so when the price is down the next thing to happen is for the price to recover.  As long as the listed cryptocurrency by the OP has solid foundations, continue delivering roadmaps and technology upgrades, non-stop marketing and influx of new community member, then I believe the next thing to happen is price recovery.  But if the cryptocurrency failed to evolve and adopt to the current situation and competition then the next thing for them is being worhtless.

A few days ago to pump up the market a bit, I thought the market was heading towards a better situation.  I thought Etherium could create a resistance zone in 1.7k to 1.8k but it can't do that And just going down, and today it was going down to about 1.4k . I agree that DCA during this period would be the key to making a good return. It would be a terrible way of investing if you are unsure, it would be a good way of investing if you know what you are doing, but at the same time it is going to be a difficult thing to wait that long for some people.

I understand that newbies want to make profit right away and that is understandable, you do not have to make a profit right away, you could end up with a big loss in the long run if you end up selling before the time comes. So the best thing to do would be making sure that you are doing the right thing by DCA however ALSO end up with holding for a long time.
