I'm running on windows 10 OS using Trex miner, pls help This is fine. The average hashrate is 76-80 megahash. If you write your settings, then users will give you more advice on setting up a video card.Title: Re: I am new to mining and I need some guidance Post by: swogerino on June 26, 2022, 04:15:14 PM All I can achieve from my 3070Ti is 73MH with driver 512.15, is this is appropriate hashrate that I should be getting? I'm running on windows 10 OS using Trex miner, pls help The 3070 Ti is a card with Gddr6x memory and if you cool it down properly you can get it to the average hash rate of 76-80 Mhsh.On Windows 10 if you use Lolminer it shows you all the details beside the card temperature also the memory temperature and if that temperature is high you need a better cooling and the high memory temperature can give you a couple of Mhsh less, there was a case when a person long before the 100% unlock was getting like 4-5 Mhsh less than he should but he was having a problem with high memory temperature and once he fixed it he got those mhsh-s that he was missing. I decided to never buy GDDR6X video cards again, and mine EPIC+SERO instead of ETH.Title: Re: I am new to mining and I need some guidance Post by: FP91G on June 29, 2022, 03:37:16 PM The 3070 Ti is a card with Gddr6x memory and if you cool it down properly you can get it to the average hash rate of 76-80 Mhsh Because of thermal limitations I can only get 105 Mh on my RTX 3080 Ti instead of the full 120 Mh. Instead, make a prediction about where you think the Bitcoin price is going and when. Watch the fundamentals to make sure nothing changes, but keep mining BTC. When you do your profit calculations, use the value that you're going to sell at and stick with your plan. The biggest mistake I've seen people make over the years is to overpay for GPU hardware because they used some mining calculator that said they would make a ton of money per day, then the market drops and they are no longer profitable so they shut down their GPU and call crypto a scam.
I've said this many times before... but... The most profitable Bitcoin I ever mined, was the Bitcoin I mined when it was unprofitable to do so. It looks like if for example the new miners will mine Ethereum and get paid in Bitcoin, now we are near that time mining at a loss,I think the difficulty of Ethereum after many days is below 12 P and I hope it goes down, this means the rewards in cryptocurrency will go up but the price in FIAT maybe at a loss, however in the long run I am pretty confident that it will become a huge win,so I agree, the smartest people are the ones who will join mining in a bear market like the one we are experiencing which will make daily crypto rewards from mining higher thus getting more coins for a certain amount of time until difficulty stays low, they will be winners in the long run.I have done so in 2018,I will try to repeat it now in 2022. I think that is very true,I was checking the local market and the Rtx 2060 Super was like 250 Eur for 42.5 Mhsh which I think is a great price, for those who want to jump in and looking for alternatives now there are tons of them,I also like the 2060 series of card because beside you can find them very cheap now, they also do not hit you hard regarding electricity consumption.Hopefully we continue to see a decline in price and I am sure near September I can buy in the used local market a mining rig full of 2060 series for just 1000 EUR,looking forward to that moment. The same can be said about the Rx 5600 series.
