Always very interested with the ico that can make a partnership with the exchange site. This proves that the possiblity if the project to be successful is very high. The successful of ICO actually depend on the project itself. I can't deny the fact that if these days so many icos were trying to create partnership with the various decentralized exchange site as a way to raise the funds. The ROI from the ico is also depend with the hype around it.
Sometime a very strong ico will be fully backed by some big name in the crypto

What interest me the most are Ventures Capital backing it because it only mean that the project has a huge startup funds to operate besides the additional funds coming from IDO/ICO, Most of the project that has good VC usually turns ito good outcome because they have enough resources to use for the project development and marketing at the same time. Startup project that solely relying on IDO funds usually died after a year since the operating cost and exchange listing is too much for them to handle while they are liquidating thre tokens to use as operational funds which always results to price dump of tokens up to the point that its already worthless.

There are many projects that start with just IDO funds and they make name for themselves before having new big investors joining them, for example Ferrum and DIA, things might be slow for them but they can make changes as time goes on, another one was Vulcan Forged.

[Yes I also think like that. Due to volatility in the Bitcoin market, alternative sources of investment should be looked for. Recently I came across Mallconomy, a great earning site. If you are interested in knowing more, feel free to comment]

Now the hype is on all sorts of " walk and earn" nonsense. Probably only such ICOs or launchpads are now making good profits at the start of trading. I haven't heard of any other projects boasting about profits. Probably because the market is bearish and new altcoins, of which there are already an infinite number, are of little interest.

Can we look into $LEDU?
Having looked into the project, I really see that it's a one in a million project.
A watch2earn project for developers, both for project creators or developers. They are really building the world’s biggest learning ecosystem for future technology.

For me ICO is a very risky gamble. Yes I am investors to most ICO and I could say not all are profitable and some really are down from its price. In order to pick a good project, you must taken into account a lot of factors.

For example, team members and partners. Some really like to check whether the VC are those commonly dump their projects. But if you see a logo of a good VC make sure they are really into that partnership cause you might got faked because its quite easy to put a name and used someone company for their own sake.

Let's pay your attention on tokenomics of ICO. How is token distributed from seed, private to public sales?

What are vesting terms for different types of investors? How long will it last? When the huge token amount will be released on the market as it can cause a massive dump when investors cash out and take profit.

When you check block explorer, you must pay attention on top wallets to see whether that token has a fair launch, fair distribution. Lastly, make sure you pay attention on top wallets to see whether tokens are locked in smart contracts or not. Being locked means there are vesting terms that are good for retail investors. It will reduce risk of scam exit from core team members of that project.

ICOs are dangerous enough to be used in conditions like now, many previous projects had a level of weakness involving them for now, of course, we don't have to calculate all of them in general and the same way. But if you look at it bigger, failure is bigger than success, the level of compatibility with the ICO no longer gets great support, of course this will affect the ICO journey in the future

For now it is rare to get full support for ICOs on new projects, because now has a new method of coin development, we are not saying that the ICO is over, but the development of crypto now has new powers that at any time can leave the development of old methods, of course every year. new developments launched, will make old methods abandoned, not to mention the many shortcomings contained in the ICO itself, thus making people lose faith in the future

There are so many metrics being used by investors these days. I think that it can't be explained easily but the thing that i do believe as long as you have been getting so many supporters from the investors like private investors and im sure this can make ICO became successful. There were still icos that could reach the hardcap. You can even check it on some sites like icodrop and cryptorank. These are the most accurate ico listing sites.

About new cryptocurrencies what interests you most in an ICO?

What interests me most in ICO is the idea.  Is it innovative?  Is it feasible?  Will it cater enough audience?  Will it sell?  Will it compete in the market? Next is the Developer.  Are they capable? Are they really the people said on the project linkdn?

What strengths and weaknesses in the ICO?

If you are asking the pros and cons of an ICO there are articles online that explain them.

Pros/Strength
  • Readily accessible for investors and startup companies
  • Accessible online
  • High liquidity
  • Less paperwork
  • High return of investment

Cons/Weakness
  • Volatile
  • A potential fraud
  • May lack accountability

You can read the detailed explanation here: ICO Pros and Cons: Is It Worth the Hype? (https://www.finsmes.com/2019/02/ico-pros-and-cons-is-it-worth-the-hype.html)

And what values do you as an investor observe before acquiring a crypto asset before its launch?

I always wanted the ICO to have a lower value.  As an investor, I always want to have the maximum profit if possible.  Since ICO token is actually worthless before it was put into the market, I won't be convinced if the developer set a high price for the token.

ICOs are 99.9999% scams.  Seriously unless you have money to literally burn I would stay away.  Especially in this Arles.  Bear markets are no time to take a stab at a risky unknown project just starting out.  They typically plummet as soon as the exchanges open for them.

ICOs are already outdated, though you might still find a good project under that network and you just need to know their roadmap, their plans and the services they are offering in this market. If you see a great value for that and you think many trust the project then maybe you can also participate. In a bear market, I don’t usually invest on new projects because of the fear of losing everything since some investors are not focused on new projects, they also prefer the old projects because they usually survive the bear market.

First of all i think the time of the traditional ICO's that we had in the years 2017 and 2018 are pretty much dead nowadays if i am not wrong. Back in the day most of those ICO's could be joined by anyone and most of the ICO's did not even have a hard cap back then which mean everyone could invest without limits. Like the Filecoin ICO that collected more than 250 Million $.
Nowadays most of the projects are only doing small public rounds, which means that you either can only invest a very small amount if the project is very hyped and a lot of people want to invest or you need to join a lottery in order to be allowed to invest.
You should always check the whitepaper, the roadmap, the team behind the project and also the tokenomics of a new project before you invest.

everything has its time including selling new crypto on an ICO basis and for now no matter how good the project is when launching an ICO it will be rated negatively because of the impression of a scam contained in the ICO project but if you really want to join be careful and think twice carefully so you don't fall on a scam project  and in the current market it's better to join a presale on PancakeSwap or any other exchange because the price will follow the market

It is hard to doing some research to new project that we want to invest, need much time.
I don't know about ICO because there were many scam ICO's in the past and it was a bad experience for honest investors.
New projects are very profitable, but they are also have higher risk than established projects.

Luna was once a project backed by large funds, including the famous investment fund finance. But things still don't go as we thought and Luna still falls even the way luna falls faster than shitcoin. All for reference only, there is no guarantee that the project approved by a large fund will not be a scam.

That's true and things like that must be considered because in reality no one can really guarantee,
before of course we all never thought Luna would fall and become like this,
maybe no one predicts it so we must always be careful

Luna was promising before the collapse.  I believe it was the company leaders that messed up.  If they don't tweak the emission rate, which leads to "hackers" exploits, the project won't be as bad as it is today.  Though I agree that a large collection of funds won't guarantee any project success.  Since veteran scammer can make any project looks legit to milk more money from investors before running away or having an exit scam.

It is hard to doing some research to new project that we want to invest, need much time.

True that it is hard to determine if the new project is legit.  All we got is a roadmap, website, and optional revelation of Project team developers.  Oftentimes, profiles of these developers are forged thinking that they can get away with fake educational and job attainment.

This is hard to decide.
1. ICO ain't the thing anymore. It was near forgotten. NFTs, DeFi, Metaverse have been claiming this new crypto industry.
2. What project? Most of them are repeats of what had been done before.
3. Will it run a soft and hard cap again which is most likely to fail a lot of times. Even if they reach soft cap they are not surviving or claiming bankruptcy in the end.
4. Are there still supporters left? How will they increase the number of investors at this bad economy?

You should consider checking out ICOs on popular exchanges like Binance, Kucoin, OKX. Those projects go through a list of checks, this way you can avoid scams, and usually they are very popular.

Nearly all Binance launchpad projects are profitable:
