This is not excluded from obtaining at all if we compare it with the periods when the price rose to the highest levels. The last time it jumped from $20,000 to $60,000, it took less than two months for the price to double. And since there are only a few months left until the end of 2022, this is also possible.
On the other hand, most expectations point to the continuation of the recession over the next few months at least, due to the Russian war and the decline in the indicators of most of the world's economies.

Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022?

Base on current situation in market volatility, we could conclude for a No as an answer while if we are to consider what potential bitcoin can develop at any point in time to make a sudden moves fron the current dip and surge high we could say Yes as well for an answer.

Or a new All-Time High (ATH) in 2022?

Not feasible now, maybe next year or after 2024 halving

What is your opinion and what do you think is necessary for this to happen?

Increase in market demand is one of the solution, patience, time and quality speculation on price, when the market begins to move high.

- Lets not rush up and dont anticipate or make your hopes high because if bitcoins price doesnt really hit up on that point on this year then you would really be just having that frustration inside.
-Speaking of all time highs then thsi is something that we dont know as always, market is too speculative and unpredictable which does simply means that no one could
able to know on what would be happening on next months or years to come.

Factors needed for us to see these prices? or ATH's? We do need that recognition and demand which is something that we do mainly need if we do speak
about reaching new heights and this is something that cant really be controlled nor be rushed up.Lets just see on how the progress would go in upcoming years to come.

In the current state of the market and the economy in general, I think it's quite delusional to think that bitcoin would reach all-time highs (better yet 100k lol) this year, or even next year.

It’s low chance to hit it this year because we just enter on first cycle of the bear market after the almost 3 years of bull run. Crypto cycle is always repeat the history and it usually happened every 3 to 4 years and hitting the new ATH within this year will just result to a bubble and hype growth which leads to sever dump once people panic sell.

I’m not expecting to see the price goes near the previous all time high this year or next year. We need to again a parabolic growth in long timeline to guarantee a strong bull run cycle.

No, because bitcoin price is still decreasing in the market. It will be difficult for the price to hit $100,000 before the end of this year 2022, because the price is still moving between $19,000 and $20,000 which will be difficult for investors to experience $100,000 soon than to experience $60,000 before the end of 2022. I think, the price will hit back $50,000 before the end of this year 2022 for long term investors to smile again before the price will increase to $100,000 next year 2023, because people are already experiencing the sign of improvement in the community.

If bitcoin did not reach USD 100,000 last year, I doubt very much that it will reach USD 100,000 this year. Although you never know what might happen, I see it as unlikely, given the state of the economy and the cryptocurrency market. I think that figure will be passed after the next halving, although I also think it will be difficult to beat, as I think there will be a lot of sell orders around that figure.

That is actually what causes a lot of questions to me. Economical declines and unstable political situations should have influence crypto investments, in my opinion. People become disappointed in traditional financial instruments, they no longer receive the profits they are used to, and therefore - they have to look for some new ways. Why, then, does the crypto market not show growth for several months, especially after the start of the war against Ukraine? Where do people keep their finances now?

It is still possible but I think it's better if we forget about it for now. Not only is the current price of Bitcoin too far from $100,000, it is even moving to the opposite direction. I checked the price just seconds ago and instead of rising it is actually falling. For the nth time, it has once again fallen from $20,000. Of course we are not losing sight of that goal but perhaps we should be a little more realistic and think of more reachable levels like $25,000 and then $30,000 first before thinking of a new ATH and $100,000.

Anything can happen in cryptocurrencies but we have to see in the current state of bitcoin has fallen, the world economy is experiencing inflation so this year for me is quite unrealistic for bitcoin to reach 100k because this will not happen.

It's hard to say that but after this year has gone through there is a good possibility of growth, but one day bitcoin will definitely ATH again, who knows when it will be a few years, we have to wait for it.
If you're still sure there's ATH next, it's time to buy more bitcoins from your pocket.

With the current market I doubt it can easily go to 100k. But of course who knows right? A short stint bull run could happened without us knowing it. But we need some miracles to do that since we are already bleeding hard. It can recover and might surpasd the ATH but definitely not yet this year but will happen eventually since as time goes by many appreciated btc and surely will be valuable enough since its limited only.

If that's the question for this year, nobody knows but I'd say that it won't be. We'll not see $100k on this year and it's more likely that this is another long bear market.

Instead of thinking the bullish prices, we better be expecting the worst case and price that might be seen before this year ends.

I'm sure the price of $ 100k will be achieved, but the problem is that it may not be in 2022, as investors we must be realistic, the highest increase that might occur in 2022 is 3x or $ 60k, if the price can return to $ 60k then we are worth giving thanks and be the start for $ 100K.

As majority have said, $100,000 in 2022 is not possible because obviously we are in a bear market. So meaning the price will surely go down as this is the cycle the we are in right now.

Even in 2021, wherein there is a *speculation* that somewhat we are heading on that direction, but then again, it's hard to know when is what is the top price. So don't expect something big to happen this year, I wouldn't be surprised if we end this year at $20,000 or even below.

Today the price is back to $20k after yesterday's drop to $19k, even been in the position of $18700, after returning to $20k makes me optimistic that the market will rise soon, but if you look at the 6 months that have passed I doubt the price in 2022 can hit $100k, if the market continues to rise the possibility is around $75k.

Like I said in the other thread. There is no way we will get a new ATH or new ATH for stocks until inflation is under control. It’s just not possible. Only way is maybe if fed prints money again which obviously they won’t because it would make inflation worse.

Right now we need to see demand destruction which is not happening. Same with job markets. Record unemployment lows. So inflation is still going to be high. It matters how high. If it’s over 1% again then fed will be aggressive and markets will go lower. If it’s going to be average or negative then markets will be happy.

Not the time to expect ATH anytime soon.

If the question was "in the next one year" that would have entailed 2023 July or so and I would have said yes, I truly believe that we will reach that 100k price in the next one year. However, if you limit it to the year of 2022, then we have only a few months left, in the next 6 months or so, we need to go 5x and that may probably not happen.

I still think that the recovery will start and the price will start to go up, especially during Q4 the price of bitcoin will go up a lot. But, that will not be enough to reach 100k, it would be good to reach 50k for sure, and the another 6 months or so will get another 2x and we will be 100k but that would be inside of 2023 or even 2024 after next halving.

Highly doubt it. The bearish market would probably continue on till a few more months, and even after it, we aren't going to see a bull season since it's going to be a steady season instead, with straight movements and probably a really slow but gradual increase to the past ATH. At the very least, we wouldn't see a price above the ATH until the next halving, which is still in two years. If you asked it before the bear market a lot would probably answer yes or maybe, but with the current state of things and seeing that we're halfway into the year already, it's highly doubtful.

I mean why so early though? we just had our all time high last year, barely s6-7 months ago and now we are looking for another all time high.

I think that's not how the market works obviously, unless there is a super bull cycle that once we theorized that will bring the 4 year trend. But it's not going to happen specially all the financial market is really down because of the war and other world events.

Ohh, well...
What I can say is that "Please stop thinking about when is the moon nor to think about ATH" this year as to whether you like it or not, that was really impossible. I may be wrong but as to see the market, we haven't found yet any significant pumps and market indicators for the rally. Perhaps, we can't say to have an instant recovery as it was known it takes years to fully recover.

We'd rather wait for the next halving as this will possibly save the market.

we still have more than 170 days, nothing is difficult and impossible if bitcoin is rising, everything will skyrocket even in a short time, and the price of $100k is not a difficult thing, in 2017 the price rose more than 8x, and to reach $100k only need a 5x or 500%.

This is not excluded from obtaining at all if we compare it with the periods when the price rose to the highest levels. The last time it jumped from $20,000 to $60,000, it took less than two months for the price to double. And since there are only a few months left until the end of 2022, this is also possible.

Although I'm not 100% certain, I think BTC will hit a new ATH this year, it must take something truly magical to help us accomplish that. Now that we are entering the third quarter of 2022, you can see how bad the market is doing, bear season is still firmly in control.

If history repeats itself, bitcoin's 4-year cycle will not end anytime soon, and we still have 2 years left before we see the next bull market, plus the world economic situation is in crisis and crypto is no exception, the influence will also have certain impacts on the market.

It ain't going to happen, at least looking at it realistically. We haven't really been through a major recession since Bitcoin was created, since Bitcoin was technically created in response to a recession, and the bank bailouts.

So, this is actually an interesting period of time. Uncharted territory if you will. I was just saying it could go either way. We either see faith in Bitcoin increase due to largely avoiding the inflation hikes, but then we've also got to consider that the more people selling right now out of fear, does have a short to medium term effect on that faith.

Until this recession is over, personally I don't see us achieving a new all time high. However, I've been wrong before. To me though, at times of difficulty people are more likely to take less risks, and therefore hold onto money rather than investing. As times get more difficult, more people are willing to sell their investments to make ends meet, which might mean they sell at a loss, and therefore lose faith in future investment. So, it'll be telling times this year, but I don't think we'll see any major upward trend until at least next year.

Personally, I think after the halving we'll see the real climb, since the halving will bring positive outlooks, but we should either be in the middle of the recession or on the arse end of it by then, obviously we'll be feeling the effects for a while, but people would've been able to warm up to it, rather than being thrown into deep water.

Reaching $100k is the hope of many people because they already bought a lot of bitcoins when the price was low. But we do not know when the price will be reached and can only follow market movements. Now the price is correcting again after yesterday's green candle and either the price can go up again or will continue to fall.

All predictions are uncertain because today's market conditions are wilder than a few years ago. So either it can go up to $100k this year, get new ATH this year, or stay at its current price level. Everything is still a mystery but some people say that the price is still going down again. So we'll just have to wait and see what happens next.

I can't imagine Bitcoin this year reaching $100k, not finding any speculation that leads to $100k, for $10k this year there's been a lot of speculation, that for sure anything can happen to crypto, without us realizing it at all.

From experience I see Bitcoin ATH doesn't happen this year, every four years, if I'm not mistaken, after ATH just happened yesterday.

In my prediction, it won't happen. I won't discuss about market cycles or how long bitcoin's previous dips lasted.

But looking at the global economic and political situation, we can see that we are in a crisis period, so risk assets like bitcoin or stocks will find it difficult to rally again this year. Things will only get better if inflation falls and the economy gradually recovers.

Atlanta Fed forecasts GDP in the second quarter will go negative, if this really happens we're in for a global recession.

If it's more than just a bear then what could be the exact term for it? Haven't heard any but I can say that what we are experiencing now is still a bear, it's just the duration got only extended, and if the price continues to fall then the price would now be zero or the price is now lower than what we are currently seeing. Fortunately the price have become stable.

This is a good thing as this can make people calm down a bit. Even tho the overall market is still badly beaten up and looks gloomy, I am still not against with the op's prediction because there are a few months left before we end this year so there might be a chance for btc to reached that 100k.

While everyone is discussing Bitcoin's crash and the lowest it could go, you're asking about a new all-time high of $100.000. That's some confidence, lol. Anyway, we're a few months away before the end of 2022, and although we've seen major turns in the cryptocurrency market in the past, this time it's certainly not the same.

Due to the economic recession, I find it hard to believe that any kind of recovery is feasible. If things don't get any better soon, don't expect any major improvement. In the best case scenario, I'd say 2023 or 2024 sounds more plausible to me.

This is a more severe economic recession all experiencing the same impact so to me it is unlikely that at that price it will be exceeded it is still a long way off although no one knows what the next changes will be, so we are looking at the global recession the impact is happening right now.
In 2022 we will continue to experience prolonged bearishness that we don't know when it will end but I think we will get past it.
But it's also very reasonable if bitcoin 2024 becomes a good growth it's still quite a long time, so we can see the exact situation later.

During the last bull run, the target was $100k but it didn't happen. I guess it was a huge disappointment for many and including myself. Then, I held my bitcoin for long and there was no much sign of recovery, then I sold at $48k. It was an act I regretted but now I realised it was a good decision.
My point, if bitcoin was at $69k and could not make $100k, it therefore means that it's impossible for bitcoin to make $100k from $19k before the year ends.

This economic recession will be worse than the one in 2010, while the condition is only expected to worsen in the near future. Honestly, I believe that this winter will be comparably worse than the two years we went through with Covid, we'll be in an unofficial lockdown due to the high cost of living.

Inflation has been steadily rising in the past months, electricity has skyrocketed and crude oil has been extremely volatile and won't fall anytime soon.

Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022?

I have to say this: " big NO ", looking at the current scenario: " war between russia and ukraine that is putting the world in a food, financial crisis " so we can't have an unrealistic optimism, then we had cases of altcoins that created dump in the market, so the situation is not good both in the short and medium term. for 2022 to reach 100,000$ we would need to see the markets stabilized (something that this year doesn't seem possible to me) and also have some great news something like: "amazon is accepting bitcoin as a payment method"

Or a new All-Time High (ATH) in 2022?

big NO

What is your opinion and what do you think is necessary for this to happen?

we need to be patient, wait for the market to stabilize, wait for some great news

we still have more than 170 days, nothing is difficult and impossible if bitcoin is rising, everything will skyrocket even in a short time, and the price of $100k is not a difficult thing, in 2017 the price rose more than 8x, and to reach $100k only need a 5x or 500%.
it's very difficult now for Bitcoin it reach one hundred thousand, because what i understood in cryptocurrency is that, it gets accelerated in price due to information and recommendations.in 2017 Bitcoin skyrocted to such price due to it has more firms and recognition in the market. You cant use this year kind of experience and crisis in some certain countries to be compared to another years when their is no negative portrayed of cryptocurrency and especially bitcoin precisely.

Clear reason why it should not happen is the price change is too rapid.   Despite being a higher price, a more volatile asset is not the positive longer term it would appear at first.   Moving too fast upwards means its less likely to stick, we fail and possibly do damage by trading at a price not retained.   The 20k price from 2017 didnt appear again for a long time because it was too erratic and not trusted as reliable, 100k this year is not the best choice but a market can do anything of course.

With the current bear market situation, it is impossible for Bitcoin to reach a price of $100k this year. It's good to be optimistic about
the future of Bitcoin, but we also have to be realistic about Bitcoin's current performance. Which Bitcoin is still not recovering, even Bitcoin is
still several times dropped below the price of $ 20k. Like you said during the bull market in 2021 many people believed that Bitcoin would hit
a price of $100k, after Bitcoin rose to a price above $60k. But the fact is that Bitcoin failed to reach $100k in 2021 and that disappointed many
investors including myself. The most important thing in my opinion is that in 2022 it is better to just focus on collecting Bitcoins than thinking
about the target price that Bitcoin will achieve. Moreover, the current price of Bitcoin is very cheap, so don't let us regret not buying Bitcoin
when the price is cheap.

Will it hit ATH at 2022? If we say yes, what are you going to do? Invest as much as you can and get rich real quick and change your life? Wouldn't everyone be doing the same thing if they knew when the new ATH or if the price would go above $100k? But they don't because they can't predict the price. Others that believe those "bullshit" prediction instead end up losing everything.

seeing the movement from the beginning of the year only once in March bitcoin can and is able to increase more, after that it doesn't look at all that bitcoin can increase and I am pessimistic that it will improve quickly especially to be able to reach $100K.

with the current price at $20K+ it looks like it will be difficult to make ATH renewable this year, likely to move better in November. and even then it might be able to approach ATH which will occur during the upcoming halving.

If the history repeats itself then yeah we can feel the rise on November. I think last year (2021) the price did start to jump also on the month of November but on other years the increase starts as early as September and October. When the last ath which was 69k is already recovered it will then be now easier to move upwards to record a new all time high.

There is no need for us to wait till the next halving only to see a new ath. That was crazy long and I think before that happens, many of us have already sold our coins because people have been waiting for so long and badly want's to sell once they see a price higher than the usual 20k.

Not in this year, but yes if keeps on rising in a continuous amount, then maybe in the next year it can reach.
This year the major objective of Bitcoins is to recover it’s price.
If it manages to recover it’s price, then by next year, easily it can reach 100k usd by next year.
We can fasten up the process, it we don’t panic and sell. We need to hold or if possible buy more Bitcoins.
This will only help to increase the price of the coin.

I also predict this year will not be a good process in the increase in the price of bitcoin this is very difficult to go through the bearish process is still ongoing and the price is still volatile.
Some say bitcoin can recover next year of course I also expect the same about this increase but I think this process is indeed long because a lot of panic selling for them is not strong in hand, because I can't believe 100k in 2023 but there is a possibility of 2024 -25 it's very realistic if we compare there to reach ATH again.

Every bear market serves to be the time period for the market to make itself stronger. This is happening everytime, and in specific the ongoing bearish move is the one that we experiencing after a massive bounce reaching close to $70k. This is considered as a time to accumulate, but there is fear which have made more people liquidate the holdings. $100k probably happens by 2023-2024.

Every time people ask about 100k it pushes away the possibility, call it reverse polarity or something but unrealistic demands makes it less likely and 100k is not a reasonable event in any normal year where we have retreated back 3 years.   Should at least think of 2023 or 2024 but after 2025 is what I'd think is the start of a reasonable objection with no indication of that trajectory at present.

I agree that next year the "recovery" will start. I mean not to 68k maybe, but better than this year. That’s what happened in 2018 and 2019 as well, we didn't break over the ATH in 2019, but we did went higher than 2018 anyway and that mattered. Why? Because it allowed us to get better than how we were in 2018.

Same could happen now, a peak in 2021, a drop in 2022, and a small recovery in 2023, with a whole new ATH in 2024 for example, or a start of a bull rally in 2024 and ending in 2025 for example. Those things could happen for sure, I am not saying it's guaranteed, maybe we will be 100k in august and start now, but I feel like my timeline is more realistic.

Bitcoin is currently in a fairly critical phase after a lot of negative issues hit the market, the interest rate hike planned by the FED was one of the strongest blows for bitcoin so that it caused quite an impact on the price decline in the market, now we have entered the middle of the year but nothing there are signs that bitcoin will be able to hit its current ATH and I think maybe we should be patient until later into the early of 2023 to see bitcoin price rise again.

There are still many people who get the wrong information about Bitcoin, that's why we have to learn Bitcoin from a trusted source. Don't just
learn from one source, we have to learn Bitcoin also from various sources, so it makes us understand more about how Bitcoin works.
So we invest in Bitcoin not because we believe in what people say, but we invest in Bitcoin because we really understand Bitcoin.
If we already understand Bitcoin, of course we will know that we need patience to get rich from Bitcoin, and don't expect Bitcoin to make us
rich instantly. Sometimes it takes a long process to make big profits from Bitcoin.

Regarding when Bitcoin will reach the price of $100k, no one can say for sure, because we are not fortune tellers who can know the future.
So we have to be sure that the target of $100k will definitely be achieved by Bitcoin, although we don't know when it will happen.
Our task now is to collect as many Bitcoins as possible, because when our target is reached at least we already have a lot of Bitcoins.

Cryptos behaved positively during the time When the whole world was in turmoil due to covid19 but the Russian Ukraine war had a major impact on cryptos which needs a long time to overcome as the war is still on going. Again, the cryptocurrency has just entered the bearish season, so naturally it will take time to prepare for the next bull run. Over all I don't think Bitcoin will hit $100,000 in this year. I agree now it will be more stronger than all bullish trend.

Probably only the most bullish individuals believe that bitcoin can reach a new ATH during this year, if we are lucky we could get to the 30k level and that is it.

But even that price seems impossible to reach, the economy is not doing well and the market itself is not doing that well either, inflation is out of control which means people need to pay more money for the same products and services, this translates into less spare money to invest which also hinders any recovery we could hope to see.

I've heard some people thinking the bull market will return this year, and therefore that $100K can be reached, but to me also this is far too soon now that a bear market has been confirmed. Even considering the bear market to have begun in May 2021, as opposed to November, then based on previous price/cycle history it seems far more likely to have a years worth of consolidation from here prior to a new bull market.

I still do think $50K is realistic for a dead cat bounce however (to the 0.618 fib retracement from ATH to recent low), similar to 2019 when shorts were heavily liquidated all the way up to $14K. But also similar to 2019 there were many 2017/2018 buyers above $10K who wanted out of their positions, and therefore price took around a year to consolidate higher prices before finally making a new ATH.

seeing the movement from the beginning of the year only once in March bitcoin can and is able to increase more, after that it doesn't look at all that bitcoin can increase and I am pessimistic that it will improve quickly especially to be able to reach $100K.
It's too hard $100K will be reached in 2022, I wouldn't really believe in that but always feel optimistic that good things will still happen for the bitcoin price this year. I have no doubts about bitcoin's future potential over the long term, but for the rest of the year I seriously doubt $50K or anywhere near the previous ATH will be achieved.

As far as we can tell, there is nothing we can do to predict when bitcoin will reach $100k, but we are only certain that bitcoin will reach 100k$ in the future. Honestly, I'm not optimistic at the moment, bitcoin won't rise anytime soon as bitcoin shows the possibility of a drop still happening this year. What I am waiting for will be a new bitcoin bottom rather than a bull run this year, I am waiting for bitcoin to drop in price to accumulate more of my bitcoin.

It's okay to not be optimistic all the time as long as you know what is happening in the market you don't need to worry that much about of your investment. Bitcoin will somehow continue to rise in the future and all you have to do is wait patiently and let the whales/market do its job.

It's just too soon to be asking that $100k which is not attainable at the moment since we are in a bear market already. It might take another Bitcoin halving to reach that level of price and probably it would happen at 2024 or 2025. So why don't you accumulate as much as as you can when the price is still cheaper?

Though bitcoin is unpredictable I can feel that we need a star with strong hands. Let us wait the most anticipated moment that bitcoin will create a bull market right after halving time

If there is something that this market teaches people and not to be too optimistic and dream about fantasy things, for example not to think that just because the price has gone up a lot then it will continue to 100k and from what I'm seeing this 100K goal could take many years to achieve. for now we need to pray that the price doesn't fall below 17000$ and we see the doom of 10,000$

I personally don't think Bitcoin will hit $100,000 this year 2022, though am not ruling out the fact that anything is possible in crypto, it can happen, am not saying it's absolutely impossible, but on my own personally assimilation, I don't see Bitcoin trading at $100,000 this year.
The year is already far gone, the 7th months is almost gone, and we aren't even in a bull market, Bitcoin keep going up and back down, the up again and even down more, if we were in a bull market, I would have said it's possible, but right now, I don't think it will happen.
Well I am on your side and I agree with that too --I did not see a good reason why bitcoin will hit $100k this year, it could be right after the next halving will come which is almost we are there and expected the price will increase and that is possible that it will happen someday.
Though bitcoin is unpredictable I can feel that we need a star with strong hands. Let us wait the most anticipated moment that bitcoin will create a bull market right after halving time

with this crisis that the world is going through because of the war between russia and ukraine, I see that only 2 years from now we will be able to dream of 100,000$

Thinking $100k isn't achievable this time, that is what I see. I know it can't be predicted OP but based on current market performance that was seemingly impossible. We know the situation and the majority of the country have been suffering economic decline making them limit their investment share which is possibly affecting Bitcoin demand. And aside from that, we can't expect that price to reach as we are still in the bear season - maybe in the next halving but that was 2-3 years from now.

Pray that we dont get 100k because nothing big happens in isolation, theres a thin line between a rocket launch and a giant uncontrolled explosion and reaching an extreme velocity in just 14 weeks to drive us from 20k to 100k from a near standing start resembles a situation imo we'd witness close to destructive forces somewhere.   I dont how or why that tumultuous event would occur I just hope it doesn't so I don't have to find out what the heck happened to create that much energy so fast.
I know everyone thinks higher is better but not in minute amounts of time, slow steady reliable acceleration is far better and with solid inertia ongoing to keep us high not fall out of the sky when we get there.

Yes, Bitcoin price will definitely hit $100k in 2023 because the bearish market look like something that will take the whole year before it can increase higher. Many investors are still holding their bitcoins for bullish market to come before they can sell to make a good profits that will make people to praise them for the patience they embrace for the bullish market to come. I believe, this Bitcoin price will not remain like this in 2023 because the green light will fully be stable through out 2023 to 2024 for long term traders to achieve their rewards from the community.

The whole 2022 might be just the start of the bearish season. We are in a completely different situation right now compared to the previous bearish run. Most economy in the world right now are struggling and it definitely will have an effect to Bitcoin, not to make it worse but will most likely to maintain it's price range while economy is recovering. Now, I'm afraid 2 years might not even enough, let alone the whole 2022.
There were still a lot of things that's continuing to hurt the global economy, until it's not resolved we are most definitely not going to see another ATH, let alone the $100k.

Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022?

Or a new All-Time High (ATH) in 2022?

What is your opinion and what do you think is necessary for this to happen?

You can view Prices and Dates since All-Time High (ATH) at https://coincryptoprice.com/ath/ (https://coincryptoprice.com/ath/)
so what you are asking here is that ATH will come Annually ? because we have just last year and now 2022 another ATH? if this can be possible then then maybe before 2025 we will be hitting 1 million price for bitcoin ?
Im so glad if this going to happen because Finally I can see myself being a millionaire before retirement  ;D

Nope, definitely not mate because ATH will not come this year or even in the next and that is what i do believe.

again it will not , because  the timing does not comply to when will the market increase , we need too much investment to make it there.

we will maintain this 15-25k this whole year I believe.

$100k OP? It wasn't clear upon checking on my crystal ball - but I don't think it is necessary for us to think during this bear season, what we are supposed to think by now if the market won't able to drop or is just about to stay in this level for the whole year. $100k can be possible when Bullrun comes but that only happens after halving.

This bear season will probably stay longer, not just this year but can be extent next year. We can't just set aside the the conflict between Russia and Ukraine that gives a huge impact to the economy in most countries.

I think to reach 100k is very impossible, with the state of the world like this everywhere the world economy is collapsing I think bitcoin will be difficult to reach 100k this year. maybe 40k more reasonable end of 2022 will reach that figure.

seeing the movement from the beginning of the year only once in March bitcoin can and is able to increase more, after that it doesn't look at all that bitcoin can increase and I am pessimistic that it will improve quickly especially to be able to reach $100K.

https://i.imgur.com/BfdCxX7.jpg

with the current price at $20K+ it looks like it will be difficult to make ATH renewable this year, likely to move better in November. and even then it might be able to approach ATH which will occur during the upcoming halving.
I get that not everyone thinks with the long-term approach to it, but if you draw that back all the way to October, you will realize that we have been going down for a long time. It’s not clear on what it will do next month or month after that, but it’s clear to me that we have been low for a while and we will go up even more later on. That’s how we should be approaching things, we shouldn't be expecting it to be up anytime "soon", but if you look at the price since October, you will realize that it has been a while since we started to drop, so it must be getting closer.

I guess that this year we will start the bull run, it will probably not end this year, so it will flow over to 2023, but it will probably start this year.

Exactly, you can look at historic cycles all you want, but when you look outside of that the current situation we find ourselves in, is no where near to what it was in past cycles. I sound like a broken record now, but we're literally heading for one of the worst recessions that most of us have experienced. I don't know if it's going to be comparable to the great depression, but it might be. Since basically the whole world shut down during the pandemic, and is only a few months ago starting to fire back up into full swing. So, that's roughly two years of a stagnant economy, that means many smaller businesses would've been struggling, and likely with increasing cost of living, means they'll likely have to offload staff.

Those people lose their jobs, and therefore need to either find a job or live very frugally, and with help off the government, which then negatively influences the economy. We've already seen the downturn in the housing market, we've already seen the extortionate fuel increase, as well as the general grocery increase.

This might not sound like it's related, and you might argue that this makes Bitcoin more appealing than a fiat currency that's subject to inflation, while that might be true, people's perspectives change during times like this. They focus on necessities rather than speculative investing. Bitcoin is currently speculative investing for most new comers. So, the buying power if you will, is going to decrease massively over the course of the next year.

It depends how bad this recession is going to be, and how long we'll be in the thick of it, to be able to accurately determine whether or not Bitcoin can recover to previous levels soon. I do think this year is off the cards though, I'd be pretty damn confident in that.

We have now entered the middle of 2022 and throughout the year we continue to see the bitcoin market in a bearish state, the bitcoin price movement is now skewed in a downward state so it is very difficult to say if this year we will see ATH happen again, so far I am still holding bitcoin though in a state of loss but I believe maybe next year we will see the market recover and can continue to create new price records like the cycle that has happened before in bitcoin market

I think that's because after the halving there is a possibility of bullish coming and raising the price to 100k, it is very likely to happen but we will be two years apart.
The bear season does not need to look at the highlands because we want the price of $30k to be difficult to go through because it is bearish so the price is not more stable due to unclear movements but indeed this must have an economic impact as well, causing all to be affected by it.

Some people predict that it will happen this year but I guess this is not going to happen knowing bear market season is strong these days so I guess we will be at shaky market condition maybe until the end of this year. For sure many people also lost hope to see this to come so I guess many investors are now preparing for next halving because from there we will get more better chances to see great price than speculating it to come this year.

It looks like the bear market will not end in the near future, if we look at the price of Bitcoin which is still struggling to return to the ATH price.
Even though Bitcoin has now managed to rise to the price of $23k, it is too soon to conclude that Bitcoin will recover soon, there is even a chance
that Bitcoin will fall back to below $20k in a few days. So if there are still some people who still believe Bitcoin will hit $100k this year, it's their right
to believe that, but I agree with you that Bitcoin is unlikely to reach $100k in a bear market situation that still looks strong.

Or it could be people who believe the price of Bitcoin will reach $100k this year, it's their way to be more motivated to collect as much Bitcoin
as possible. It would be much better if we think long term, by preparing for the next halving in 2024, because based on the history of Bitcoin
price movements, after the halving occurs, the Bitcoin price will rise very high and can reach new ATH. So it will be much better if we can continue
to collect as much Bitcoin as possible and we hold it until the next halving occurs. After all, long-term investment in Bitcoin is much more profitable.

Bitcoin price to reach hundred thousand (100k) it's not something that you say that is impossible because Bitcoin have it way of acceleration over some months now bitcoin price has been fluctuating in the market but just a recent the price which was at rate of nineteen thousand (19k) and twenty thousand just reached twenty one and twenty two thousand (21k/22k).  So i believe that the movement of Bitcoin is not predictable, so therefore their is every tendency that the price will reach hundred thousand without the expectations of anyone

I see it as highly unlikely that Bitcoin will hit 100k in 2022. On the other hand, I would be so happy if it does. There are so many factors contributing to its volatility. Personally, I suspect we have to give it a longer time horizon.
The war in Ukraine has no immediate end in sight and the global economy is still in tatters due to all the unnecessary over spending during the pandemic. At bottom, I am confident that BTC will reach 100,000 at some point but we have to be patient.

Reaching 100k at some point in time is basically inevitable, the issue is the time frame in which people want this to happen, and reaching that price before the end of this year seems like something impossible to me.

In fact if we take into consideration all the negative factors around bitcoin, like the weakness of all the economies around the world, the war at Ukraine and the covid pandemic which still causes some issues then a further decrease in its price is in fact possible.

There is no doubt, Bitcoin will reach $100k  and even way higher but with the current market sentiment, news and updates, $100k Bitcoin is highly unlikely to be seen this 2022.  We are still in the bear market and before transitioning to a bull market, there will be a long sideways to be experienced so that makes $100k BTC difficult to achieve this year.

In fact if we take into consideration all the negative factors around bitcoin, like the weakness of all the economies around the world, the war at Ukraine and the covid pandemic which still causes some issues then a further decrease in its price is in fact possible.

And the possible bankruptcy announcement of some crypto-related institutions and several FUD might also affect the Bitcoin price growth.

We are almost at the last quarter of this year, and yet bitcoin price is still low to consider. However, in my past experience with bitcoin, I learned not to underestimate bitcoin because it will always move upward faster than we think. So if ever it reaches $100k or more this year or the next year ahead, I think bitcoin deserves it. In order to see continuous progress for bitcoin, at least there should be more big institutions that will backed up bitcoin, and of course we should be more firm on our faith with bitcoin as it’s always intended for long term investment.

I miss 2013 :'(

2013 was tough, we sold off like 20% I swear just like that and I had no idea why really and then it quintupled twice over in just the remaining months of the year.   How was anyone to know it was going to do that, I didnt have a decent monitor to even view webpages I still had my 1994 model so I used up some BTC on what was viewed later as the lowest prices.    I have no doubt some selling now is just because people got to use up their capital wherever that might be and so it snowballs some, should that really reflect on BTC as a genuine negative or is it really just a reflection of liquidity withdrawing.
Short term vs long term effects basically, long term inflation is not so easily defeated we have ongoing currency weakness where BTC is with a known schedule and steady history over a decade of growth and utility to an expanding global audience.   Dont get too caught with the negatives in this particular year when we'll be progressing again next year and after that, market price considerations are separate from overall usage and demand imo

so what are we expecting to see then/
I'm afraid that by any chance we will get that 6digits target and this will take a year or couple more before finally hitting its target.
as long as we are willing to keep buying and holding? and never affected of FuD?
we will be having that in the next halving.

I myself also admit that we miss another year where the price of Bitcoin was perfect and we also hope that by the end of 2022 bitcoin will give a little positive side about bitcoin prices in the future so that we have a strong urge to stay on the side of bitcoin and will never leave it.

Seeing the current scenario of Bitcoins, it’s really hard to say whether Bitcoins can touch it or not.
And to be really frank, it seems hard for BTC to at least recover to 45k usd.
But still we need to show some trust in Bitcoins and give some time.
If the graph shows green, then definitely Bitcoins will reach 50k this year, and next year we can hope that it reaches 100k usd and break the all time high.
Let’s hope for the best.

Not sure it will happen but I've seen the experts just say the right moment to own it means prepare for as many bitcoins as possible even though this year it's not 100k.
I only estimate the short term but in August there is a possibility to 30k again and so on it could go up a little to reach higher, this month we only see bitcoin above $20k slightly higher but it feels like it could go up again.
The future of Bitcoin is certainly there for the best only that we are prepared for a time that is not right now.

Just over 5 months to go until the end of the year and bitcoin hasn't even risen to at least 25k after such a big drop. If one imagines that from current positions it should do x5 in 5 months, I certainly don't believe it. Of course there has to be a bounce, because there is no such thing as a permanent drop, but it certainly won't be 100k.

Even to say that the market is unpredictable but it was obvious that it won't reach $100k this year. I really don't expect such highs, not during this bear season as this surely this year remains in that condition and might be extended next year. That $100k is possible, but of course, that only happens when Bullrun comes and it was expected to see huge rallies during halving 2-3 years from now. But for now, it was just a dream that is clearly impossible no matter what we do.

Nothing spectacular to wait for this to happen and it seems that there's no event that can help up to build a hype with bitcoin this year so we maybe can expect that the bitcoin market will remain like this until this year and it will never reached to $100k dollars or even more than that number.

Many people speculate that this will happen on next halving and I agree with them that it might happen on that time because bitcoin got its huge rally mostly at that event.

You know a high price need a bit crash before it's bounced back really fast to $100k .. so yeah the current crash from $65k to below $20k are really necessary ... even the lower it gets dumped the higher possibility for bitcoin price to go sky high in the next halving to get the new ATH .

Down to $10k is still possible to happened now , just embrace yourself.

It's very obvious that cryptocurrency will not reach up $100 this year so the market we are is a bearish market is only two weeks now experience bullish market so I believe that for cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin to reach up to $100 it will take more two years interval before we experience such I believe that this year is all about correction or cryptocurrency but I don't know people speculation concerning it right now but it is not something will follow or decide that the price of Bitcoin will rise to the extent of $100

I miss 2013 :'(

Longing is indeed beautiful and longing is also very painful as we are currently going through all the things that happened to the bitcoin price in 2022, which is very much different from last year.
I myself also admit that we miss another year where the price of Bitcoin was perfect and we also hope that by the end of 2022 bitcoin will give a little positive side about bitcoin prices in the future so that we have a strong urge to stay on the side of bitcoin and will never leave it.
If we use the level of cryptocurrency last time and compared to this current falling of cryptocurrency. We that's complaining will not complain again. I believe that even though bitcoin fall to zero it will rise again. Because from my definition of bitcoin. It's digital currency that help to support the functions of fiat currency

For Bitcoin to experience a healthy increase, a correction is indeed needed, we can also learn from the history of Bitcoin's movement,
that the deeper the price of Bitcoin falls it makes the Bitcoin increase the next more higher. As you said for the price of Bitcoin to touch
the price of $100k a correction is needed, so don't worry about the current deep Bitcoin price drop, it provides an opportunity for investors
to be able to buy Bitcoin at low prices. So don't let us miss this opportunity to collect as much Bitcoin as possible, and don't let us regret
if the price of Bitcoin suddenly pumps but we don't have a lot of Bitcoins yet. Regarding the price of Bitcoin dropping to the price of $ 10k,
for me the possibility is very small, because Bitcoin has been stable for a long time above the $20k price, I believe the price of Bitcoin support is
very strong to prevent the price of Bitcoin from dropping to the price of $ 10k.

It is true that bulls will still happen during bear season, but they are only slight rallies. We cannot claim a new ATH this year when it just happened last year. I would say there won't be any new ATHs until the halving happens. Instead of expecting a price increase this year, it's better to think about the worst case scenario, all the possible scenarios so always have a plan for both.

I still don't understand where those people that trying to claim that there can be a ATH this year when it is obvious that the whole world is suffering now from a bad economy and even crypto is not safe from those dumping.
Maybe there can be some increase but isn't enough to make another climb high from 2021.
100k is commonly asked but there are no concrete proofs of this to come this year or even in the next.
if we fail to manage taking that in 2021 bullrun then what more this bearish market?

Well, that's how Bitcoin consolidates. Everything that goes up must come down. You just can't expect people to keep buying with that high price, because most of those have stacked enough will absolutely sell when Bitcoin hits new heights.
Then, dump will eventually happen. This gives new investors enter the market and for the old ones to accumulate again after they sold their bags.
Ones the whales decides to put their money back to Bitcoin, that will definitely trigger a bullrun.

If we look at the market trend in 2022, I'm pessimistic that the price of bitcoin can reach $100k, if the market continues to rise the highest possible price is around $75k, maybe the price of $100k will happen in another year, because I think that in 2022 inflation in many countries is the cause of investors need cash for many needs.

The only hope that we have last time where the price continued rising up to 23k have now gone because we are back again at 21k. I think what causes the dump is the tesla selling most of their bitcoin hodlings. Now most of us are convinced that btc can hardly break the 25k limit and obviously will be even harder to reach higher values such as 100k.

The highest possible price of btc is not 75k but this price was just common since we already been at 69k last time. The real one which can be said the highest possible value of btc could be 1m u.s dollars because I don't think there are more to come after that or if ever this price will be touch.

The market of cryptocurrency can accelerate to one hundred thousand when the price is getting constantly up I believe that. And it's what will happen in future time. Bitcoin price will increase by the ending of this year or earlier run off 2023 so from my perspective I believe that there is everything tendency that Bitcoin can increase above sixty thousand during any movement of bullish market.

Actually in 2022 many countries plan to legalize bitcoin, based on official reports there are at least around 15 countries, but when the price drops from $ 30k to under $ 20k makes them postpone the plan, another bad thing is that Tesla sells most of the assets that make prices It's hard to go up, with this fact I'm sure the market will be difficult to reach $ 100K.

I think it has not come to play that many countries want to legalize the adoption of cryptocurrency, i believe that Bitcoinb adoption would have commenced effectively during the time bitcoin was created at the far back 4 years back since they resisted and tagged Bitcoin as a barrier that will cause harm through the country that is why till today Bitcoin have not being adopted worldwide I believe that cryptocurrency growth is caused by total number of people who buy it. And i understand that such is what gives Bitcoin power of increasing

The market for crypto assets appears anxious to push the price of bitcoin through the US$25,000 mark; nevertheless, the price of bitcoin is still within the US$24,000 to US$26,000 range and is still subject to price fluctuations. Participants in the cryptocurrency asset market continue to forecast that the price of bitcoin will at least reach $27,000 in the fourth quarter of 2022.

That is the reason why bitcoin is always a good thing to have regardless of its fluctuating price.
You can expect the price to be much higher than just $24K now, but it's really a loss if you don't have anything in your wallet.

The market will forever fluctuate as long as there is supply and demand, but I don't expect $100K to hit this year, assured. The bitcoin price may be going down due to the impact of the Mt Gox bitcoin release in the near future, so we would definitely expect a decline there even on a small scale.

You're right, before we can expect any ATH should be after the next halving which is somehow around 2024, but before then the price can be as good as favourable when it beat back the range of $20k and exceed the $43k it started dropping from earlier this year, we cannot exclude the effect of demand and supply, because that is the major tuner of volatility in bitcoin price.

The market is in its bearish days, so even a small bounce in the market is a big thing. Compared to the low bottom the price have reached a good position. This will slowly increase as the investment over altcoins have begun to get into bitcoin. According to me $27000 in the fourth quarter of the year isn't a big thing for bitcoin. According to the market cycle we're focused on 2023-2024, but bitcoin market being uncertain can make any unexpected changes in no time.

Economic condition is a big factor here for the demand. Many countries are suffering from bad economic condition. On the other hand, panic sell is making it more volatile. I think we will be able see a good move from Bitcoin early of the next year.

I agree, since there is always hype and FOMO months before and after the halving, $100k is only possible to happen after the halving.   I also don't think that 100k is achievable this 2022 because of the current sentiment of the market.  Aside from that, there is no new huge flow of funds coming in to the Bitcoin market so I think reaching $100k  will be very difficult if our time fram is only until the end of 2022.

I do not think that it has to be another halving for this to stick. I do believe that this has been something that we should have seen long time ago, but even if we haven't, that means we could still it before that date comes. What I believe is that the price of bitcoin could hit 100k before the halving because the price could recover faster.

Look at 2021 April and October, it was just a few months between them and somehow it still managed to be so important, and I agree that it is not going to be that quick now that it has been half a year and more, but it could happen in a year for example, by 2023 summer we could hit 100k easily if the bull market comes.

While everyone is optimistic to see a new ATH for bitcoin, but I don’t see it happening this year. The bear market is still irresistible and even if crypto experience a sudden price increase, there will be high chances that their prices will drop again. Bitcoin will definitely reach another all time high but maybe a year after or the next two years, and maybe we’ll see higher than $100k that time.

Things is being know officially with evidence. I think that you have to make a credible reason to the country you feel that want to legalize yhe adoption of cryptocurrency, people is investing seriously and with precaution into cryptocurrency. So i don't think that their is fact base on the legalisation of cryptocurrency every where in the different countries. Bitcoin rising is base from the people who is buying Bitcoin for their own benefit of investment

No there is no sign BTC especially is going upwards without a few different events favoring a switch back to speculative activity.  My current view is anyone seriously waiting for this needs to come back in the autumn and I hate to be seasonal as obviously this varies by location around the globe but generally this is how it'll proceed we only get progression over some months likely into the end of the year and beyond that.
In fact 2023 or even the year after is far more realistic then continuing to guess on substantial change this year, no excuse to think otherwise as yet.

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/06/12/AIpwm.png

Heres Dollar index and if anything its going to retest the highs.  If that occurs and if we prove or establish a top before resolving back below 105 then tick a box on your flow chart for BTC to move somewhere probbably upwards.   For now its sideways, its various cycles but mostly we are countered in any one direction and I dont fear downwards too much either.

Recent low for DXY respects the prior highs, this and other measures need to change and will likely take an extended amount of time.  DXY describes the movement of trillions in worth with great inertia most years.

It's good that you never panic when the price drops and keep making purchases because now the Bitcoin price is under $23K again and I think it will be much better if you want to buy it in very large quantities if you have high confidence in Bitcoin right now . Because Bitcoin still has the potential to increase more even though it is currently still experiencing frequent declines after increasing by a few percent.

First I never thought that bitcoin would reach 100k in 2022, because bitcoin's journey in the market does not leave room for such a low price, secondly whether bitcoin will reach a new ATH in the same year, this is still very speculative to predict, considering the current price in the market has not shown a major bullish point, but the possibility of reaching a new ATH is still quite open, if the market undergoes a change and a gradual recovery before the end of the year

Not sure Bitcoin can touch the level of $100k this year, new ATH might be possible, just speculation, I actually believe Bitcoin will fall below $20k this year.

For that, you need to know that anything can happen in the crypto market, unexpectedly, while it's down now try to buy a few Bitcoins just in case, set aside capital for the cheapest price if it happens.

I think, the price of Bitcoin will definitely hit $100,000 before the end of this year 2022 because the price is increasing gradually in the market, showed that any moment from next two months Bitcoin price will move to $60,000 for people to believe that Bitcoin price will reach $100,000 before the end of this year. Those that missed the opportunity to buy Bitcoin are seriously busy to purchase more of bitcoins, so that they will not miss when the price of Bitcoin hit higher any moment from now because the price has moved to $23,000 few days ago in the market.

nope and never this year , we have so much in 2021 and now 2022 that is abused lol , we will see some growth but not that big as what we have or more than what we got back year .

I think if we will make it to 40k? that is more than enough because we can hardly see that in after halving time.

There are still about 4 months left of this year. If Bitcoin run for a bull market it will be towards the end of this year. Various countries have expressed their positive opinion about this crypto. In the meantime, Bitcoin is giving positive signals so the price will rise up again. Now the current price of bitcoin is slightly above $23000. I think the impact will start soon.
I do believe that we shouldn't really be worrying about that. How many months left is not the reason why it can or can't reach 100k, in a few months bitcoin could go from 20k to 100k easily, all depends on a bull market. But, I believe that instead of that, we will probably start to go up this year, and not reach there just yet.

We could be 20k to 50k in this year, and then next year starts and we go from 50k to 100k and that would be more reasonable and easy. This is why I believe that we should probably see this as a good thing and not a bad thing because it will give us more time to buy as many as possible before it reaches the peak ATH prices all over again.

It is possible that this prediction can happen because the history of bitcoin is now much better than the previous year, meaning the lowest price is in the $20k range, even if at the end of the year it becomes bullish, then that is the reality, we are always optimistic about how bitcoin has moved.
We never wait for the price to go up but when it goes up it will be a regret, do a buying strategy in any way including DCA and when you have funds to allocate buy now before the price goes up to $50k at the end of the year.

In my opinion, bitcoin is difficult to reach the price of $100k this year because the crypto market is still unstable and negative sentiment is still happening. Especially in the midst of the uncertainty of the world economy and the turbulent world stock market, the price of bitcoin fell very badly. Therefore, I estimate that by the end of this year the bitcoin price may only rise above $30k.

this year Bitcoin is still very weak, and still very volatile, because $19k support can still occur,
therefore it is better to wait for a breakout of $25k if you want to enter, but my advice is to just accumulate at the current price,
I'm sure $100k can be achieved in the future, 2024 or 2025 maybe

Bear season has just started so this is not likely to happen considering also that many countries are facing an economic crisis right now. We should just focus accumulating while bitcoin is on sale at this moment because it will probably hit those price in the future. $69k is the current ATH so I think $100k price is possible for the next bull run which will happen between 2024 or 2025 based on some speculatios.

$100k is too much for this year. I'd see no way to make it reach knowing that we are in this bear condition, in fact, we even hard to reach $30k, too far from the said price.

I know $100k is not impossible in here but that only may happen during the bull season, after halving. People are even preparing for that time to come, that was 2-3 years from now. Many are expecting another ATH that time and another record to break. Yes, we absolutely not to miss that chance and the opportunity now to buy cheap coins.

Right. The crypto market situation still hasn't shown better performance even though the bitcoin price has slightly increased and is in the $23k area but almost the last month the bitcoin price is still difficult to break through the $30k price. Therefore, it is possible that in 2024 or 2025 the price of bitcoin will reach above $100k, which if you follow a 4-year cycle pattern, 2025 will be a bitcoin halving. as we know that when the bitcoin halving occurs, the price of bitcoin experiences a very significant price increase to set a new ATH record.

Although Bitcoin price can increase significantly in a short time, it doesn't mean the price can move from $20k to $100k instantly. It needs a process and should take several months or even years to move massively. The gap between $20k and $100k is very big, I doubt it will happen only a few month, ideally it must take several years. (At least more than 1-2 years)

We could be 20k to 50k in this year, and then next year starts and we go from 50k to 100k and that would be more reasonable and easy.
Can you explain why you think Bitcoin price will grow from around $50k to $100k next year?
To be honest, I don't see a chance that Bitcoin to reach $100k before 2024-2025. In my opinion, Bitcoin price will have a chance to move to $100k in the next bullrun and it probably happens in 2025. I can predict this since the next Bitcoin halving is in May 2024. While the bullrun is predicted to happen 1 year after Bitcoin halving.

These are just small increase or typical market conditions where volatility something like this is just an ordinary day but if we do speak about 100k for this year 2022 then it wont really be that enough
but if the market do really ends up on having some positive news and fundamentals then it would really be that possible but we should not really make ourselves to be that positive so that you wont
really be that ending up on frustrated just because the market didnt able to reach out this level but speaking with potential then there's no doubt on that.Better not to make yourself that rushed up
when it comes to high price so that you wont really be that stressed nor expecting that much.

2022 is still only Q3 left, of course the prediction to $100k might be difficult to achieve,
because the current market situation is really very bad, bitcoin lost a lot of value in Q2,
from $50k down to $20k, so if you want to reach $100k of course bitcoin must be bullish again,
otherwise $10k will be reached.

Market in recent days red again, when the price reaches $ 24500, I am optimistic that the price will soon reach $ 25k, this makes me never think that the price this year can reach $ 100k, possibly if there is a bull run then the price that can be achieved is 2x from The current price is $ 45k

That's for sure, bitcoin won't be able to hit $100k or a new ATH before the halving happens. In the near future, there are no major news events that will cause bitcoin's price to rise. Most previous ATHs will only happen after the halving event, combined with the current unstable economic situation, we should not put too much hope that bitcoin will have a good price in the near future.
If bitcoin can hit $30k by the end of the year, for me that is already a success, a good step towards conquering new ATH.

I even expected more than that because Bitcoin is still possible to increase more than 2x from its current price. Although I also feel happier if Bitcoin can be at $45K this year. Although it may be a little difficult to happen because price increases usually take a little longer than decreases which only take a moment.

Yes, it is not unreasonable to expect bitcoin price above 100k in long term investment. Bitcoin is constantly evolving. Investors and their popularity also increasing. Some experts believe that holding Bitcoin in place of Gold can be profitable for long term. Can everyone in the world collect 21 million bitcoins? Considering all these aspects, it seems that Bitcoin can be much more than $100k.

If we are not talking about this year or the near future, long-term bitcoin holders like us might believe that bitcoin rising above $100k, such as $200k to $500k, is quite feasible. At the current rate of development, once bitcoin is accepted by countries, bitcoin will be more interested and its demand will increase. The price of bitcoin may increase in the future, and that is entirely possible.
I am thinking if hold bitcoin for 10 years until 2030, can bitcoin price reach 500k$ or not?.

Anything can happen, sometimes the movement of Bitcoin is wild and uncontrollably, at this time the price is around $ 23k but it does not rule out the end of the year to reach $ 100k, I am always optimistic to continue to buy and make for long -term investment, the fact that prices can skyrocket in a short time Makes me never bodily and panic when the price is dropping.
I'm also optimistic about bitcoin and its possible new all time high but to be honest, i'm not expecting for bitcoin price to reach $100k this year as we are already close to the last quarter but still bitcoin is not showing high surges. However, its also an opportunity for us to see bitcoin still in a low price since it will give us chances to increase the quantity of our owned bitcoin through buying at its low and affordable price, and hold them for long term.

The possibility is always there but sometimes we need to look at things realistically, so we can prepare on what may possibly come in the next coming months.  $100k is still high for me considering we only have few months left. But we can't say it will not happen as we have seen, even a 24-hr period in this market can surprise us, depending on the news that will hit in this market.

For the price of $100K in general it is still possible on Bitcoin, but for the time of year I think it's not enough for Bitcoin to reach it because after next month everyone will be entering the last quarter of the year which is a very short for Bitcoin to instantly bounce to $100K. Even though there is a large amount of buying in the market, but for a price as high as $100K I don't think it will be enough time to achieve

Realistically the price level from $21K to the price level of $100K is very far even though in a 24-hour period the market has experienced very surprising things, but to reach the price level of $100K from the current price level is something that takes time and it's not a moment or in short, because Bitcoin needs to increase by more than 400% to get close to the $100K price level.

I still can't understand why there are people here in forum or in the whole crypto community that seek or even ask about bitcoin breaking 100k this year or even in the next?

Look at how the bitcoin chart move in the last year of 2021 and this year , isn't commonly understand that we should be in Bear market now?

after that breath taking high of last year then expect a lowering this year .
