Re: How certain are you that cryptocurrency will experience more parabolic bull runs
A certain asset can be a good investment regardless if it gets a multi-year grind up in price or not.

How do you see the risk of cryptocurrency right now?
Cryptocurrency has always been risky.

Are you confident that cryptocurrency will recover, and when do you think that will happen?
Idk, "cryptocurrency" is too broad. A huge majority will die, some will fall stagnant, some will outperform.

Cryptocurrencies are risky but the risks differ from coin to coin because one is violate than the other. You can see bitcoin less volatile, coins like ethereum and litecoin are also better, but you can see some like luna very volatile. Research very well and only invest on a good coin and not too volatile ones that are most risky. Also avoid shit and dead coins.

I do not see anything bad to buy coins like bitcoin now, but that does not mean it can not still fall further, but holding it for like three years is not bad, the price would have increased with increasing profit by that time. Just know that investing in cryptocurrencies are very risky, consider altcoins as gambling, they are more and most volatile.

Quite certain that the bull run will start if the whales start putting in more investment because they have pulled off for profit since price was around $50k. I think gradually the price will start to bounce back.

Just know that investing in cryptocurrencies are very risky, consider altcoins as gambling, they are more and most volatile.

These are two important sentence there. Cryptocurrency investment are risky but bitcoin is far better because with patience, another ATH will be reached for new set of rich people to emerge.

It is also considered gambling when you invest in altcoins. Luna has given many investors nightmare on the collapse that happened to the price of Luna.

To invest in this market, is to accept the high risk involve in all of the currencies.
But you can minimize potential high losses if you will dedicate your funds to valuable alts.
As we can't tell when will the bullish period will happen, you are just waiting basically what will happen next.
But while waiting, you are just hoping that your choices are good to increase your portfolio.
In my opinion, as much as possible, better diversify your assets outside crypto market.

I've been in the crypto space since 2016 and I've learned a lot from the market cycles I experienced. Compared to stock market, it's normal here that a crypto could pump 10x then go down 80% of its ATH. Cryptocurrencies are very volatile and these dumps are to be expected after pump. Market will not always go up and also down. It will surely recover but it's difficult to say when it will be because there are real-world issues that also affects these dump.

We might get another crypto run and Bitcoin ATH however you need to realize that cryptos market cap is already so large that we won’t see anything parabolic.

Even the bitcoin 2021 run wasn’t parabolic. We broke $20K and topped at around 3x. This is nothing compared to the 20x and higher bull runs prior.

If we break 2021 ATH we probably won’t even 2x that one.

Yes definitely market will recover and we just need to wait. There is no certainty but Im sure as Ive been staying for few years and Ive saw how the cryptocurrency go back or surpass its level. Its just need time and growth more.

Imagine someone completely buying bitcoin throughout the years and never selling. The supply shorten and thats what makes it in demand. In time people will realize this that most bitcoin are getting lower and lower.

If we are to wait for the whales then we are going to be in a big big trouble. We need to realize that the best thing about our current situation is not whales and it could be us. How? Well simply just put our money in there and increase the volume. Since the volume is low, regular people like you and me who do not have much could get into crypto, buy bitcoin and increase its price.

Of course, whales could come in and drop it a lot right away, but they can do that for so long, eventually they would have to stop. Even though rich people have a lot of money, they are outnumbered so we could take them on and if enough of us could get together then we could increase it. Which is basically how finance market worked in 2021 when WSB fought hedge funds on GameStop.

Of course, Cryptocurrency prices will always recover, But WHEN?, this is what nobody knows, prices of cryptocurrencies are highly unpredictable and as such, it is near impossible to say when prices will dump or rise, take 2021 as an example, everyone, even experts believed that Bitcoin will end the year 2021 with a price over $100,000, but to everyone's shock, it didn't, I know someone who bought 1 full Bitcoin at the price of $53,000 in 2021 and expected to sell it above $100,000 before the year ends, but unfortunately, this didn't happen and he ended up panic selling it at a price lower than $48,000.

Re: How certain are you that cryptocurrency will experience more parabolic bull runs
From a small research I did, I learnt that less than 5 percent of the entire population of the world currently are into crypto currencies, it is highly evident that the more more people are join this space, the more prices will increase due to high demand and limited supply as in the case of Bitcoin which has its total/max supply capped at 21 million coins.

Well for your first question I will say cryptocurrency is risky but bitcoin is saver, life itself is all about risk you know. And for your second question there is going to be a comeback in the cryptocurrency, it will recover. All we need to do is be patient and wait.

Parabolic bull run is long term vision, it wont happen all of sudden. So I am more towards its wavy nature of bear and bull so that I can easily profit from my holdings. You know I can have easy entries and exits at multiple times to gain lower average for BEP.

However, I am confident enough to say that parabolic version isn’t impossible for the asset like bitcoin which rose from scratch to multi thousand dollars in short span of time.

It always has been risky and any type of investment has its own risk. I'm certain that it will recover, we just have cloud of thoughts when the market isn't really bullish and that's expected for people to doubt and its recovery will always be not certain on when.

Your question is too broad as it refers to cryptocurrency. There are thousands of cryptocurrency and not all of them will be able to survive after a bear market. Dead projects will not have a new parabolic curve. Only good and strong projects will recover from bear market, reclaim its all time high and start a new parabola ride to make new all time high.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB will have new parabolic curves in 2024 or 2025. Other coins, I don't know.

The recovery will always happen, but no one knows for sure about the time. So for that, you only need to have crypto that has great potential to grow and survive in a bear market. Because every decline that occurs will not guarantee that all altcoins can return to chasing their bull prices.

At the start of the year, many predicted the value of BTC to get to about 80K and above... but the recent state of the market has made many persons begin to doubt if what was predicted can still happen. The bear market was very unexpected, likewise so the bull will be. I am confident because, just as series of news affected the market and caused the bear, so will series of news reinstate confidence back and cause the market to bull. We can't tell when exactly it will happen, but real soon it is expected, what we can do is hodl and continue to watch the market.

Well you cannot predict the price in crypto but one thing that I can assure, there will be always a bull run come and it was proven and tested so many times. This question has been raised so many times here, that a lot of people keep asking whether is time to invest, is there a chance to recover back the market price, and so on, so forth.
If you correctly remember, last year we hit the 2 ATH in that year and I think it will happen again in the future. I think you must believe it and hold as long as you can.

Recovery will take effect soon, I’m confident for this because this kind of scenario happened already and most probably, we will rise stronger and this is a good opportunity to accumulate. There’s no certainty here in the market, anything can happen and its all about your risk tolerance, if you can handle to hold more good coins then so be it. We all have different investment strategy here, focus on your own and follow your plan accordingly.

First thing first, it is not right for anyone to suggest that certainty exists in crypto currency. No, theres nothing like certainty; this is why like other investments it is a monetary risk. The word that should be used for crypto currency market is probability. This is why every trader focuses on these and choose trades that has the highest probability to grant them win/profit "with respect to btc movement"

How do you see the risk of cryptocurrency right now?

It's always been risky ever since bitcoin started to have a value. Not just because it is very volatile, there are also the scammers, hackers and all cyber threat actors.

Are you confident that cryptocurrency will recover, and when do you think that will happen?

It's not how you are confident for recovery, you just have to look at its previous history and see it for yourself. As others have said, we are in a cycle, unfortunately, we are now in the bear market so it might be a long and hard grind till next year. And again, as its previous trend, usually the recovery starts after the bitcoin block halving process. And this activity will occur sometime early 2024. So count a couple of months after that, maybe we can see some semblance of recovery then and probably the eventual bull run.

Currently the crypto market is in a bearish era where crypto prices are all falling. So it is known that all assets will automatically go down. To deal with the current market conditions, we can only focus on holding the coins that are still in our hands because it is impossible if we sell cheap, right?
In addition, we can also add some assets to our portfolio.
As to when this will end, we will not fully know. But people predict that this will probably last until 2024. It's a long time, isn't it?

most are confident that we will recover, but when? that's the big question as no one can exactly predict this period. if you are a believer of this market, you will find ways on how to increase your holdings. but only those promising alts. even "experts" or long time crypto users can't give such time about bull runs or end of bearish period. but one thing is certain in this market, we will experience the up and down movements but it is yet to determine those price levels.

I personally feel very sure that the crypto market will rise up again after the Bitcoin halving later. This may be not in this year or next year. The market will be still like this. But after halving, the market will have a bigger chance to rise up and pump the price as usual. I am pretty sure that Bitcoin price and most the altcoins will also have their new ATH. Hopefully. But once more, the market is unpredictable, sometimes, it is really out of the box and out of prediction.
Period of bearish and bullish is always happening and always becomes the cycle in the crypto industry. We know that many people become stressed during the bearish era and become so hype during the bullish era. That is the problem As long as we cannot control ourself, our mindset, emotion, we cannot afce this period well.

How certain are you that cryptocurrency will experience more parabolic bull runs

After the top of 2018, most people were thinking that whether we would see bitcoin's all-time high again or not (when the price of bitcoin fell by almost 83%) -- Even then bitcoin hit its all-time high so yes I certainly think we'll see parabolic bull runs

How do you see the risk of cryptocurrency right now?
I don't see any risk in this if you have invested in bitcoin. At times you will see the loss, but if you don't sell it then you will definitely make profit.

Are you confident that cryptocurrency will recover,

I don't know which crypto currency you have invested in. But I'm confident that bitcoin will recover.

and when do you think that will happen?
None can predict the market, however, next year could be the recovery year... Just a Hopium

I only see the risk of the price being down in the current state of cryptocurrencies. This is only temporary as I remain confident that the cryptocurrency will recover soon. I don't know when the market will recover and no one knows when. We can only patiently wait and prepare ourselves for its arrival by buying more potential coins so that when the market recovers and the price increases, we can sell them at the highest price. But if you choose to exit the current market by selling all your assets, I don't think it's the right decision because you could incur a huge loss. But that's just a suggestion.

I've been with different market seasons and through the years, I've seen how crypto dropped down and recovered again. I believe that the same thing or better situation could happen in the future. Bitcoin and other top coins already have a strong bear market resistance so I'm confident that the prices could strike better soon.

One of the best thing that we show proof for investors is its history. We cannot assure that bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies will recover on the future but that's what bitcoin is, volatility and it tends to decline on a certain time which we call a bearish market. However, Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies has shown proof that it tends to recover at a certain afterwards.

Yes, it will recover and that's why I'm not worried at all and I was happy when I saw that it has hit a new ATH. As for when it shall recover, just think of it that the recovery will happen eventually but not as soon as possible.

Exactly confident.
I believe that cryptocurrency is still on the track of the bearish cycle and will be in the bullish season later. Although many things are unpredictable in the crypto world, at least we have trust in certain coins. It may not be in all coins, the trust may be only in Bitcoin at first and also some certain altcoins that have been proving so far as worthy altcoins. I don't want to take the high risk that is why I am not taking the high-risk altcoins that are utilizing the pump and dump market, or even the hype projects.

We all know that cryptocurrency is risky, but all investments are risky. I believe cryptocurrency is going to bounce back but in this bear market not all coins will survive it, that's why you have to invest in good coin which I will personally ask everyone to invest in bitcoin because you will never regret. I don't think anybody can really say when the market will bounce back but we just hope very soon we are going to experience bull run, but nobody should panic because of the bear market, I think it's another opportunity to bag more coin.

Nobody, however, people still choose to invest because of their beliefs and trust in the market.
Although we never know when bullish come, or when the market recover, we are still certain that it will soon to come as we once have that experience. Those things that it happen last year it was enough to prove that there is always light out from the dark life of crypto. In fact. many had thought it was the end, imagine more than 2 years in bearish but the marker is just about to pump and make another ATH. We can just think about it...

From the best of my knowledge, any good trader does not actually need to be certain about a bullish run coming soon again. We already have records of the past performances of Bitcoin in the chart.

For me, with that along, it is evident enough that Bitcoin has passed through various downtrends and still picked up its price as at when due.

So, there’s no need to be extra certain, it’s actually an occurrence that is a must happen over periods of times mostly months or years.

A parabolic bull run is inevitable after a downtrend but I think the bitcoin rainbow is what the OP pertaining in this case which is hard to hold on right now because this will result to bubble if continuous on insane price level. I’m always positive on Bitcoin but I don’t want it to be trade on such level that has a strong fear or over greed because the price will never be stable. And unstable coin usually very hard to invest.

I highly doubt that Bitcoin will experience parabolic bull runs, and I created a thread about it some time ago:

Are spectacular returns over for bitcoin? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5382704.msg59055252#msg59055252)

Personally, I would like to see parabolic returns in the future, but with the current market cap it is going to be more difficult. The fact that we have done only 3.5x this cycle points to this, and the levels we are at also.

Although it's not all bad, volatility should tend to reduce overall, for upside and downside.

To be honest mate, no one has really seen the future, so the ones telling you the time along with me are based of calculations and estimations.
This is not the first time when BTC is expecting a bear market, so yes we need to show some faith in Btc.
Earlier also happened the same in 2018 when BTC suddenly fell from 20k usd, but guess what it recoverd and broke the record of all time high.
So I would say don’t panic and wait for another few weeks. BTC won’t disappoint.

Still high if we are not a high risk taker. The price of Bitcoin may be still experiencing dropped again. The up and down market changes very drastically, sometime it is surprising. But exactly,, bearish market will be still ongoing longer. If the end of this beaarish market is after the Bitcoin halving, we still need a year and more, don't we?  :D
So, what's to worry? Just follow every step by getting even small chance based on our purpose for trading or holding.

The more us dollars price is skyrocketting , the more btc price will go down . Will take 2 to 3 years to recover i guess

Lol!. Skyrocketting?

It is quite an exaggeration to say that. The thing about the USD is that it is getting strong relative to other currencies, but Bitcoin is not like oil, which you have to buy in dollars, you can buy it with many different currencies. It has nothing to do with it.

What I do agree on is the 2 or 3 years but because of the next halving, not because of anything to do with the strength of the dollar.
