I'd say they are worth the price new, used $200. Most other brands ~$300 used.

In fact they've been the best cards I've had out of all of them (MSI, HIS, Sapphire) in terms of longevity and overclocking. I OC'd my Diamond 5870 up to 1050MHz and ran it for half a year non-stop. When BF3 came out I played it with the same card with absolutely no artifacting or any other shenanigans.
