No member will be kicked out of the forum because of posting in any board, if posts are not scam or plagiarism.

If theymos does anything seriously, it should be turn off all signature in Altcoin boards (Discussion/ Speculation sub board ie.). That is enough to stop bounty hunters to spam there. However, I still see it won't happen after the launch of bump scores years ago.
  • Bumping changes on some boards (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5183553.0)
  • Bump score is alternative solution to reduce negative effects from bumping service and shit posts.

I guess mine's meta and I wasn't expecting that (I say guess because a lot of the bitcoin boards that are used for similar things would be higher if put together - electrum&tech support).

Mine is Gambling discussion with 20% from all of my posts because I mainly posts on football threads. Honestly speaking all posts scrapped on Ninjastic.space isn't give you accurate boards activity since he scrapped the beginning board you did post, so if the thread is moved to other boards, the stats wouldn't change.

If theymos does anything seriously, it should be turn off all signature in Altcoin boards (Discussion/ Speculation sub board ie.). That is enough to stop bounty hunters to spam there.
Nope, they will move to other boards that lead of spammers too e.g. Bitcoin discussion, Beginner & Help and Speculation boards. We all know moderators isn't really strict if the posts isn't really bad or soft-bad, so those spam posts wouldn't get deleted. To stop bounty hunters is ban the bounty section is, there's no more solution except that. But banning bounties board will make forum traffic declined a lot, so stopping bounties isn't a wise idea.

The Bitcoin Discussion section, despite it being a section I kinda dislike for a while now. I rarely see great posts and that a lot of the topics are very redundant. But alas, a lot of noobs need help with things so I reply anyway.

I don't think that would be a smart move as all those active in altcoin signature campaigns would just find some other board to spam so I say let them fill their signature quotas there. It's not like we don't have enough signature spam in other parts of the forum already.

Regarding the question in the title of this topic, its Meta for me, even though I don't have that feeling that I am so active there. Numbers don't lie though.

theymos saw this point, perhaps and decided to implement bump scores in a few boards initially but still being opened to expand it to more boards if necessary.

A few months before and after the merit system kick-off, there were debates that if spam endemic can not be handled, all signature should be disabled. So far, it does not happen as merit system works and later gets support from bump score changes.

 - Banning account sales.

I find posting on bitcoin boards more interesting, more related to life, like which wallet to use, avoiding scam and many other life related discussions. Also high posting quality by other members that you can learn from while others are learning from you more on bitcoin boards.

In the past, I used to post mostly in the Altcoins discussion Board, but recently, alot have changed, I decided to shift gears  ;D,
Now, I post more on Bitcoin Discussion, followed by Beginners and Help, then Gambling Board, the rest can be seen in the screenshots below...

I honestly can not remember when last I visited the Altcoin Board to see what's happening there.

I think you should also include the question - - If you changed your posting Boards in the last 1 year, why did you switch?.

Honestly, I feel the best in the Croatian part of the forum, because we have known each other for a long time, I have personally met some local members, and we have a lot of common topics and conversations.
Another reason is of course that it is always easier to write in your own language than in English.
In addition, I like to write about sports in the gambling section and answer questions from new members in the beginners section of the forum.

Altcoin discussion for me, how about you?

It makes sense, considering that you are promoting an altcoin - in case you change the campaign, you might spend more time on another boards ;)

I have almost 20% of my posts in the Bitcoin discussion, and considering the past, even 10% in Micro Earnings as well as in Beginners & Help.

The Bitcoin Discussion section, despite it being a section I kinda dislike for a while now. I rarely see great posts and that a lot of the topics are very redundant. But alas, a lot of noobs need help with things so I reply anyway.

It could be a great board for everyone, if only there were more members who would use the "report to moderator" button more, considering that a significant part of the content on that board actually has nothing to do with Bitcoin or are low value topics.

The gambling discussion section. I post frequently in the beginners and help board too. The gambling discussion board is a nice "hangout" section for sport/gambling lovers of which i am one, the only problem users get there is the tons of spam and garbage posts made by some users who do not have knowledge of what they are writing. Some old threads have been locked there though, and new ones started, so hopefully things could get better with the new season at hand.

I don't think that will be very wise, Because as you may have noticed we are in a bear market so the number of new registered users is not the same as it was years ago. Adding further limitations will probably discourage new people from joining the forum especially when many other spam freindly  forums are popping out.

Partially true. Limitations, strict regulations will make bad members leave but if a guest visit here after a search on Google ie. and want to become a good member here, I don't see any restriction set by the forum.

Don't plagiarize, make authentic posts, make contributions, you are fine and get warm welcome.

When there are no football, EPL of course, I have not much to do in gambling discussion section. There used to be poker tournaments too. These days since there are no football until the season starts, my interest on gambling section is limited.

Frequently being active on the gambling board for a long time is one of the habits regardless of the campaigns I promote. Find the right board for your topic, but thread like that exist and are allowed and you can even find Merry Christmas to the Forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088731.0) on meta board. So I think you can also create it in meta. But wait, what does this have to do with this topic?

If it is mandatory, then you should do it mainly because the campaign requires advertising on the gambling board and you are the right person to get paid. However, sometimes the problem is that the quality of postings is getting worse due to a lack of understanding about gambling and discussions from some participants, so the idea arises to reduce the requirement for the number of mandatory posts on the gambling board.

So far I am also very active on the gambling board but not 100% even though it is the right board to promote the campaign. But if you are concerned with more knowledge then I think you can also spread your activities on many boards even though you have to fulfill the requirements to post on the gambling board.

I am shocked to understand that I made most posts in gambling discussion. And it will take me more time to level up from other boards. Since I wore Best_Change signature I don't post in gambling session.

The reason my post is more in gambling discussion is because my first signature campaign was Rollbit, later Blackjack and later FortuneJack. All these campaigns are all gambling. Maybe before Ember month it will change.

That's because you previously participated in a campaign that required you to post on a gambling board. I don't think that's a problem because actually with your acceptance on BestChange you'll just be posting more on other boards especially since BestChange won't count posts much in threads longer than 5 pages [only 3 posts will count]. But isn't that great for improving the quality of our posts?

I'm a Liverpool fan and that makes me prefer to talk about it on the gambling board. I also liked some of the other teams in different leagues but that was just a constructive discussion. Here are the results for me.

It's same for me. I watch only two leagues. Premier league and champions league. In champions league only the matches of Liverpool and in EPL I do watch some other matches when I get time but mostly Liverpool matches. So when I watch a match then I have words to say. There are also other things to share too through out the season but when there are no football I am totally off from Gambling discussions board.

One thing is sure from this discussion. The signature campaigns influence our posting interest. If the signature I am in would have requirements to post in gambling sections then to fill up the target I would make posts there even if I did not have anything valuable to share.

I am going to make a guess of my top 3 boards without looking at the data on Ninjastic.space and then I will check to see if I was right.

I believe my posting habits look like this:

1. Meta
2. Hardware wallets in wallet section
3. Beginners & Help

Looking at the stats now, I see that I was wrong. My actual top 3 boards are:

1. Meta
2. Beginners & Help
3. Gambling discussion

Hardware wallet section is only ranked 5th. I guessed 2/3 correctly but the placement was wrong.

You are right, I agree. Since I've been promoting BestChange, I've started to cut back on posting on gambling board unless there's something I really want to say. I'm still watching the thread, but trying to post it less often. So it is true that the campaign will affect the interest of our posts.

As you can see in the iamge, before I joined bestchange, I was a user promoting gambling sites [casinos] and that made me active there a lot, but now it's the other way around.

-snip-
Here's what it looks like for you, meta is the board that has caught your attention most of the time and is followed by the Beginners & Help boards [15% and 13%], while on the Hardware wallets board you have a pretty good percentage too with 8% or 878 posts all the time.

As you can see in the iamge, before I joined bestchange, I was a user promoting gambling sites [casinos] and that made me active there a lot, but now it's the other way around.

I am a Manchester United fan and I love discussing the club. I also participate in discussion about our rival clubs (Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City). So, when I joined Best_Change, it wasn't easy for me to stop posting in the gambling discussion board. But coincidental, I joined Best_Change campaign when my club was a total flop and Harry Maguire was the master of it. You can be banned without warning if you plagiarize without giving credit to the owner of the copy/pasted text.
I have always being posting on bounty group though, am new here in the forum.
Since you are still new, you might want to change that and leave bounty groups and sections, so you can enjoy the forum in other boards with more interesting discussions. Edit: I just checked, you have been here for a year now, so you aren't new at all, you have also run into the usual trouble bounty hunters get into through cheating bounty campaigns; rinse and repeat.

This used to be very easy finding out those days when "Show general statistics for this member" at the bottom on user's profile wasn't disabled. I don't know why that was disabled, anyway. Not that it even matters to bring it back now, though.

In the past, I think I posted more in the altcoin discussion board. Then interest wavered between Bitcoin and Economics later. Now, I think I post more in Beginners & Help. I'm really not intentional to be honest. I just flow where discussions that interest me spring up. I steer clear of topics I hardly can contribute to so I don't spam. That's just it.

Let me answer, it's not your fault because you are free to post anywhere on this forum as long as you can post constructively. You can even post on different local board if you speak several language well and people understand what you are saying. This can be interpreted the same way a local user posts on a non-local board, they can do it if it doesn't confuse people to understand what he is trying to explain.

The problem I can understand here is, you just find your way to the meta after being on this forum for so long in the past "after wake up from long period inactive". I see no other issue to blame for your desire to post here. So let's just say it's not important because you're not breaking any rules to post your opinion here.

About me, so far 40% are in gambling discussions and the rest you can see in the cake.

These are my results. I tried guessing my most post boards and I'm correct. I'm a gambler for years now and it's my number 1 guess, so yeah It's pretty expected that it gambling discussion will be on top, My second guess is my Local board Philippines, Back then I am pretty active there and I like posting there since I like using my native language and discuss with my fellow countrymen. Third is as you expect bitcoin discussion, I'm assuming that most of us have bitcoin discussion on the top of the list.

Today, I like spreading out my post on different boards and sections since our Local board is pretty inactive and bitcoin discussions having repetitive topics.

Mine:

  • Gambling - almost half of my total posts
  • Gambling Discussions - makes more than half of my total posts to be in the Gambling section.  ;D
  • Services - Ranks 3rd

Looking into contributing more to other sections especially my local board.

I just checked https://ninjastic.space/user/cookdata and gambling discussion, beginners & help are at the top of the list, whereas Bitcoin Technical support, Development, and Technical discussion are at the bottom. I haven't checked this in a while, but I'm glad that none has surpassed 30%, however, I would like that the last two on the list become the top two, but for now I'm limited to the discussion because I'm still learning the techniques of bitcoin.
I'm not sure how some of you enjoy the Altcoin discussion, the majority of serious discussions don't take place there except for spammers and signature posters, yet some members have more than 40% of their posts in that section. I don't just like that board, and I've never posted a single line on any of its threads.

Historically my posts have been mostly in the Collectibles section.  Although as of late most of them are done in the Gambling section, because, well, let's face it.  I get paid more to post there.  :)

I should get back into offering more things for sale in Collectibles.  I got away from it because there were so many trolls there, but it does seem to be a more friendly environment as of late now that Lauda & TMAN are gone.  Perhaps I'll try to find more time for auctions as to not neglect my original love on this forum, the collector community.

We used to check this stats directly on bitcointalk, without needing a third party app. That was before theymos disabled user stats. Those were the days.
Almost half of my posts are in obviously in Gambling section. It's the most active place in the forum if you are not into altcoins much.
After all, we can't talk the same things about Bitcoin every day. But in the Gambling section, we can talk about a new match or race or a fight every day. Actually, it would be more correct if the name of that section was changed to Sports. :)
When I look at the other boards I've posted, I see a pretty even distribution. Just like what I feel before I check these stats.

That's right, ninjastic.space is the perfect tool for getting forum stats.

Almost half of my posts are in obviously in Gambling section. It's the most active place in the forum if you are not into altcoins much.
It seems the same here, but Local boards and gambling boards are the two boards that have dominated my posting activities so far. These two boards have taken up 46% of all my overall forum activity. I usually post in sports threads mainly about football, it's a topic I'm actually pretty good at regardless of whether I want to bet or not.
