Title: [AUCTION] Hodlonaut Card, Pinkcoin Bracelets, & Bitcoin Collectible Fork
Post by: Abiky on July 19, 2022, 02:41:17 PM
I'm auctioning the following items: one (x1) Hodlonaut Card, two (x2) Pinkcoin Bracelets, and one (x1) Bitcoin Collectible Fork.

Lot #1: Hodlonaut Card

The "Hodlonaut card" has Hodlonaut's original avatar on the front side, while on the back there's a random BTC public address taken from the Blockchain. It's in mint condition inside a nifty card sleeve.

Lot #2: Pinkcoin Bracelets

The Pinkcoin bracelets were a gift I've received from the official Pinkcoin store a long time ago. They're brand new, never used.

Lot #3: Bitcoin Collectible Fork

And last but not least, we have the Bitcoin collectible fork that's two tools in one. You can use it as a pen to write your everyday notes, or simply as a novelty fork. Please note that the fork cannot be used for eating, because its coating can wear off easily into the food. The condition of the fork is brand new, never used.

from what I recall these cards are purchased from whopper.io and you have to supply an address for them to put on the card. So, my question is who supplied the address listed and who controls the private key for the card? I ask as the card has both received and spent funds.

The address ties to BTC, BCH, BSV, BTG and BCD and dates back to 2016 with the BTC being removed earlier this year. last year (2021).

The card only has the public key. It's a view-only wallet instead of a cold storage wallet. Whopper.io allowed you to buy such cards before closing down for good. :)

I understand what is on the card - whopper.io does two types of cards - one where they manufacture the card and supply the public address and the private key - or one where the buyer supplies the public address.

Based on the activity on the address dating back to 2016, my guess is that this card is the card where the buyer supplied the public address for which they already held the private key for.

I guess what I am asking is - are you the one that ordered it from whopper.io and supplied the address or did you get it from somewhere else?

I was the one who ordered it and supplied the public key/address myself. It belonged to a very old wallet which I've redeemed funds some time ago. I no longer have access to the private key (it was destroyed).
