You can do it from your Profile -> Forum profile information -> Avatar but you need to become a Full Member first.

Buy a copper membership to unlock quickly your avatar feature without undergoing to rank up to full member
Copper Membership doesn't give you an avatar.

Buy a copper membership to unlock quickly your avatar feature without undergoing to rank up to full member
Cooper membership gives one many of the features available to a traditional member ranked user, of which posting avatars is not a part of.
The main purpose of copper membership is to allow newbies to post images without having to wait to rank up. You can read more here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.msg24371150#msg24371150)

Is this a personal account or you are representing any company? If it's personal account them it's better you stay active and work to rank up but if this is on behalf of a project or company then as mentioned you can buy copper membership. This page should show you how much to pay for it (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote). It will not be much expensive.

Being a copper member does have many benefits for a newbie to have an account similar to a junior member or member rank, buying it does not still give privilege to use an avatar.

But your advice is good, especially being a copper member will make posting of images possible.

Only full member and ranks above full members are able to use avatar. Even for copper member accounts, they have to rank up to full member before the can use avatar.

Hello again. I am a private person and thus I will stick with waiting and being patient until achieving the needed rank :) it is not so important for me. Just was curious where to find this simple feature which I am used from many other forums.

Thanks to everyone for assistance and have a nice day

Germany has the most generous members, than any other locale, 86 more achievements easily you can get there, you can't him, sit back and watch other people sprint for the Avatar, I see some of your posts in the German section are appreciated, do your best to be able to place your Avatar.

Avatar is important or not to you, but you will love to see it.

Avatar features you will see once you qualify for 100 achievements.

Achievements here would mean merits I imagine. In that case, the feature would not be available after reaching 100 merits, except the user has already acquired 120 activity points to go along with it. I am putting this out there for users who may be confused with how the ranking system works.

To have avatar you will need to be full member of the forum and to become a full members you will require minimum 120 activity and minimum 100 merit. Don't get confused with the post number when you are counting activities.

you can only get 14 activity points every two week period

In other words, no matter how many posts you make each day or week, only 14 posts will be added to your activity in every two weeks period. If you do not enjoy spending time on the forum then it is hard to rank up.
