I join the crypto community at the beginning of the end of the last bull run. I invested heavily quickly and I watched my portfolio dwindle down to the ranges we see today.

I don't regret what I did because it taught me a lot of valuable lessons along the way. I never sold and continued to invest , I now focus on DCA every month.

All this is to say;
I haven't yet had the opportunity to experience a bull run.
I understand form my countless hours researching the space that even I'm 'early considering that the next bull run will likely arrive alongside regulation, then institutional 
invest and mass adoption.

You can have faith in them, but you also need to balance between the benefits and risks you will receive. The past mistakes should be considered as a lesson that you need to work hard to overcome. It's better for yourself to stay positive about the market like that. Just as a guess, hold on for the long term and learn more. Don't just appear when benefiting and having happiness doesn't maintain success and sustainable investment is created.

For me every bull run surpass its previous run so this next bull run might be an epic moment again. We all knew that since we experience past bull run in sequence. Most people dont believe this will be huge cause its really massive movement but history repeat itself apparently weve just enter a consolidation stage and that bull run can happen 2 to 3 years from now. Whay you are doing is good cause it can change your lives by doing dca and sell it on a high phase bull run.

Bull seasons are always full of surprises and the next bull season will always be more epic than the previous one, that's my feeling. You are unlucky when you hold everything high, but you are not failing as long as you hold bitcoin and have not sold any of them. what you are doing is right, DCA when you can and just hold on till next bull season you will have success which I am sure will be bigger than what you expected.

The game is still on for you OP, you only lose if you sell so hold your coins and tokens for the long term and keep a closer watch on all the projects you have because many projects always get relinquished in every bear market for different reasons.

It depends entirely on you.
If you are buying and DCA continuously throughout the bear season and holding when the bull season comes, it will be a great feeling because you will get the reward you deserve.
On the other hand, if you do not make any buy during the bear season, when the bull season arrives, you will feel disappointed and regret that you did not have any confidence in the bear season.

The next bullrun must be the bitcoin will be reaching another new ATH. You must have seen the old chart of bitcoin when it was going from nothing to the more than 60k. If bitcoin will be able doing it and then whole of market will be giving the same reaction.
You will be seeing so many tokens in your portfolios will be going up. You will earn bunch of money if you have bought at the bottom.

First of all i think it is great that you apparently followed one of the most important advices if not the single most important advice if you are planning to invest into the crypto market: Never invest more, than you can afford to lose. If this would not be the case then you would now be full of regrets and maybe you even had to sell now with a big loss. Even though you are now probably very deep in the negative numbers in terms of profit that does not mean anything because the loss only becomes real once you have sold.
Regarding what the next bullrun looks like? No one really knows i guess. So far i experienced the bullrun of 2018 and the one of 2020 to 2021 and i would say both of them were very different, so i would guess that maybe the next bullrun will start also out of the blue and will not behave like the last ones.

We don't know how it will look like until we're finally seeing it. To be honest, the last bull run, I'm sure that many didn't expected it to be like that. It was like more than times three of 2017 bull run and that's quite a lot to be seen.
Maybe by the next bull run, it will be more than that. Just don't expect a lot and as you hold, despite seeing those losses, you only lose until you sell.

No loss is done if you refuse to sell your bitcoin. Having your assets stored in bitcoin means there is hope for you to make profits in the future.

next bull run wil be greater than before, institution and also whales will accumulate their crypto assets more than before due some reason. believe we will see crazier movement especially at altcoin.

What I know is that in 2017 when the bullrun started with many FUDs such as China banning all forms of crypto activity, in 2021 there was a pandemic due to covid 19 which resulted in almost all countries implementing a lockdown, and for the next few years, I assume maybe after the war and inflation in interest rates stabilizes there will be momentum for the crypto market to rise to become even stronger.

Bullrun was about so many coins in the market jumped so high and people in a very big trend to believe if the market will create another record in the future. It's about selling your portfolios at the peak price while the bearish trend already wiped out from the market. You must also aware that if these days people are always expecting bullrun for long term.

this week is very surprising, the altcoins I hold are dropping drastically. last week nominex was still at $0.7 and now it has fallen again to $0.5. I don't want to sell and hold it anymore, I don't know how long this will end.
whereas last year's nominex had reached $6.

for the market as a whole I don't really see it because I'm more focused on the coins I'm holding at the moment, but I think things are pretty much the same.

Every time there is a bull run, most bitcoin and potential coins will always hit a new ATH, so there will always be extreme excitement for holders at a highly discounted price and during the rising season there will be strong FOMO that makes the market sublimate and you will feel the market become much more vibrant and crowded. My honest answer is the next bull run will probably be the same as the last one since history never change in the crypto industry, bitcoin will get a price hike which most likely gonna trigger a new ATH and altcoins will also follow and some of them might not be able to make it because of lack development for the past years, so they will end up crashing their price and will never recover forever. That's why when investing in altcoins, go for the trusted ones where you might not gonna worried about some investment loss when a bull run will come, and don't forget to spare some money in bitcoins as well because they never fail to increase their price and exceed our expectations regarding its price.

What I just think about is that it never stays longer at its ATH, a drop can be more expected due to a possible sell-off from new investors. And even not sure if we able to reach $100k as prospected by many.

If I could answer this question, I would probably be a very rich man :) It seems to me that this is why we love bull runs so much that they are characterized by great unpredictability and thanks to this you may have a life opportunity. To increase the chances of doing so, follow the general market trends and look for gems that fit into such a trend. I hope you have more patience and stay focused on the DCA strategy, we don't know when the Bullrun will happen again because every previous bullrun is also unpredictable, the appearance can also be different, just look at the chart in 2013-2017-2021 it is not the same. Every bull run was pushed by emerging use cases at the time. In 2017, we saw the rampaging of ICO. It fuels the bull run at the time. Recently, NFT was the biggest thing that made the latest bull run possible. A lot of NFT games were developed and some have become very successful. Millions of it were sold and made crypto very popular again.

Be very mindful of upcoming new technologies related to crypto and take some piece of the action with it. You will never know what new technology will push the next bull run. Better be in it ahead rather than chasing it when it already set off.

First bull run took us to 22k regime while the second one took us to 69k level. Looking at this, 100,000 looks like a safe assumption for the next bull run.

What happens with you is a common mistake made by a newbie where they mostly enter here due to the hypes but unlike to a common newbie that regret and down their selves too much, you feel the opposite thing because you are now more motivated. You are not early to enter here in spite that you enter during the price falls but that was still better than compare to those who are still doubting to enter.

If you are curious if what will the next bull run look like. Well the coins usually will have their new all time high. If 69k was the previous ath for bitcoin then it is rumored that 100k will be its next ath but we only don't know if when is the next bull can come.

Realistically, we don't know when the next bull run will take. It could probably tomorrow, next week, next month or even next year if possible. That's why you have to keep update with the news about your coins of choice as maybe if single big news happen could affect the entire market in just a second. It's all about news at first and look at how the market goes after if it's get affected or not.

The next bull run will probably start about 9 months are the next bitcoin block reward halving. Tye next one is estimated to be April 2024 so you are looking at early 2025 before there are any real fireworks. Alts tend to lag behind bitcoin’s lead so maybe a little longer. We are undoubtedly in a bear market now though so you have time to accumulate.

The next  bull run will likely be like the rest of them.  Altcoins peoe hold will die off as a new wave of coins will completely take off.  There will be some group of coins that will be trendy and completely kill it (think meme coins in 2021, masternode coins in 2017, etc).  But in the end there will likely be one constant, bitcoin will be the center of the market rise 😉

I completely agree, I'm also expecting a new wave of coins that will be on trend next bull season. These new coins will relatively earn a massive growth in value because of the potential that the market can see. Good old reliable coins will still be there but I don't think meme coins of 2021 will have another wave of hype on the next bull market. I can see some pumps on meme coins but It is due to the market situation where all coins are going up, though I think it will not pump due to it's token classification.

Well, honestly speaking, I believe that yeah, this is the moment is like a bull when my entire portfolio will reach ATH. Well, because my portfolio will cross ath when all crypto breaks ath. In our today's market, it does not look like bearish or bullish, it looks like a safe rally, which is a little bit bearish in the market for crypto bearish. That is why the market is so difficult; we just need to be patient for the bullishness that you and many others want to see. Like, I also want to see my portfolio break its ATH. Don't you see the gap between any years that you have mentioned above? they have the same gap which was around 4 years in a row. This can also become a signal why the bullish trend may come next years. I can take it as an accurate prediction as well. There will always be pump and dump in the crypto market.

What would the next bull look like?
IMO, I am always looking at the world economy. Because for me it will play a big role on crypto investing and even other types of assets.
Base on what's happening today, daily need prices are going down and I think we are in recovery.
BTC is $23k (rounded) as of this post and it may be at the same phase of recovery. Pick your own poison on where you will base your prediction because none are accurate.

it will be very difficult to predict accurately because in terms of price and capital the crypto market has many influencing factors, except for the prediction of the price chart on one of the crypto assets that can still be analyzed by a trader or investor.
Although many predictions of the direction of the bull run market in the future have been said by several people, these predictions are still not necessarily true.

I think we will see a return in DeFi protocols like MAXX finance and Alchemix, and new metaverse and gamefi projects. The previous run got cut-off early and still has a long way to go up considering that eventually, everyone will be using DeFi, using the metaverse, and gaming using crypto assets.

This is only my prediction but the first thing to do is to find another buzz word to be hyped, in the case of the last bull-run it's the NFT and Metaverse Hype that bring people to buy crypto. But will only be the start, the continuation of the bull-run will be decided whether Bitcoin get more adoption and good news, if Bitcoin make a bull trend then other crypto might follow.

the only thing that's for sure is that we will witness new ATH reached by btc, that is around $100K and surely the alts season will follow eventually.
at that time, most of the coin gonna have overly inflated valuation and the flow of investments gonna massive.
the chart is gonna differ compared with the chart in the 2018 and the likes, still doesn't necessarily means it's not gonna be as huge in term of value increase.

Definitely the next bullrun will be massive because it needs huge fresh money to enter on the crypto market in order to pump the current market. New investor will usually diversify there portfolio after acquiring Bitcoin as initial deposit which will start the big bull run in crypto market in general.

The only question is when will it occur or if it’s really possible for that to happened having in mind that there’s already a lot of institutional investors that has huge crypto holdings that is now on huge loss. There’s a chance that they will sell off once the price partially recover there investors money.

I also assume that things will always be the same, history will repeat itself. Because OP hasn't gone through what a bull cycle looks like and he's still sticking to his decision, I hope OP will stay until the bull season comes. A great feeling when you focus on everything during bear season, and when bull season comes, most good coins hit new highs. Honestly, the feeling at that time was hard to describe but I know one thing, it will be well worth it for those who persevered in holding and DCA during the bear season and never left the market.

Only if it does happen, it will not be a bullrun in the broad sense of the word, but only its preparatory and accumulative part. Look at the halving in 2020, the bullrun did not start until six months after the halving came, and all that time there was a slow and smooth accumulation, the price slowly getting closer to the ATH price and then flying off into space. Given that, we can assume that the bull run will not begin until late 2024 at the earliest.

Exactly. Maybe the bull run won't be long since we're probably halfway through this bear market so that could mean the bull market is coming soon. Only holding onto the coins you have can you do now if you don't have much ability to trade or if you can't buy coins at lower prices. Convince yourself that you are ready for the upcoming bull market by getting your coins up for sale at the highest price.

Yes, no one knows and only time will tell because the market is not easy to predict, and doing a DCA is the best way until you are absolutely sure and stop at the right time and at the right price to stop doing it during a bullrun.

everyone assumes that the BULL RUN will take place every year. with a very high increase makes all altcoins increase unnaturally. but all has been proven from several years ago. There is no clear indication that the market will experience another bullish runs this this year or not, however no one can accurately predict the exact period, although the price had been in a bearish runs for a some time, thus a lot of speculations going round is that a bull run is imminent this year, however we are now in the 3rd quarter of the year there is no sign of bullish market, though I am quite sure and optimistic that the market will definitely becomes Bullish in no distant future thus the OP should hodl for a long term perspective and wait for that season to earn decent profits.

The only thing I can say is that the next bull run is going to be massive, I don't really know when the bull run will start but bitcoin will pump well, which also altcoins will also pump. If you haven't accumulated enough bitcoin, I believe everybody is still having opportunity because the price is still low, let's accumulate now and wait for the bull run to start. So people will endup regretting when the bull run start because they are scared bitcoin will crash and they didn't buy.

Apparently, bitcoin reached new all time highs every bull run, and history has proven it a lot of times. Although there will be roller coaster move for bitcoin price, but in every bull run, it’s value is always at its peak. So always expect that once the market experience another bull run, all the crypto coins will certainly be in a good position and those who are patiently holding bitcoin from bear season will be reaping off the fruit of their hard work and make huge profits after.

Just what it was last bull run, it was unexpectedly beautiful. But, I don't want to expect a lot from the next bull run because just like what we see that there's a huge difference from the past ones.
It is also giving the idea that the next bull run will make bitcoin $100k and that's what we think is going to happen, we don't know for sure but that's another exciting part for the market. Many after 2-3 bull runs, people are going to start thinking about $1M = 1BTC.
