Could this be a new board for us to discuss the happenings of lending/long-term offers?

This board 'meta' is about discussing what is related to the forum like improvement, suggestion about this forum. If you want to borrow or lend, go to lending (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=65.0). But you do not have the qualifications that can make anyone give you loan.

He didn't asked you to explain what the board Meta is used for.
He didn't asked where to post if he wants to lend or borrow.

OP is suggesting for new board to be added on the Lending section which is for discussion purposes only.
If you know the OP, you'll probably know that he already this information and a quick check on his post history will let you know that he knows where the lending section is. Also, OP is more capable and qualified for loan based from his history and trust.

Anyways, It would be great if OP will be able to provide more information for his suggestion about Lending Discussion board as I can only think of a few topic about loans. Also, there are only few activities on the Lending Section for another board to be added.

The reputation board seems like an appropriate one to discuss happenings of lending (and Its child board).
Thinking of what discussions could come off from a lending topic, I assume they should be user focused; fitting in reputation, or scam related, which can be posted in the scam accusation board.

I thought it was a spam because he was referring to meta, not knowing he wasn't but only suggesting new board for lending discussion.

Thank you for the clarification. New lending board about lending discussion? Is that necessary at all? That can fit into lending and reputation board. Isn't that right?

How about Service Discussion?

Service Discussion exists, just not for services I think - rather Service Announcements?

I suppose it can all be in reputation too.

What do you mean "not for services"? Service Discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=85.0) board exist for discussing, well... services. And, for announcing services, there is Service Announcements (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0) board. Yeah, I know. That makes no sense.  ;)

A lending discussion board would be nice, but the question is, how many users are going to be posting there?
I think there are several other boards where lending matters can be discussed, and one of those boards is the Reputation board as this is where the discussion can stand out.
It is better to post lending related matter on reputation board than creating another dead board.

Good question, so not ideal to have another board for lending discussion.
Because if there is, it's most likely;

• Defaulted Loan
• Scam

Which is more accurate on the Reputation board.  So, it isn't necessary.
