Title: Mycelium Imported Private Key Backup
Post by: mycelium1loadme on August 13, 2022, 11:26:46 PM
I imported one private key to Myceliun and I lost the priv. Key, so is it possible to somewho see this private key on my Mycelium?
This Bitcoin address that I imported to this wallet is the most well connected hash on BTC blockchain and someday what it requests will happen surpassing +1BTC on it.

You can backup it again if you know the password of that wallet.
If it's a mobile version then to backup the wallet just go to the accounts tab and select or tap the wallet you want to backup after you tap it then tap the 3 dots upper-right corner and then export accounts keys and then slide it from public key to private key to the right. Now hold the or long-press the screen and it should show the private key that you want to backup with the QR code.

Be careful with someone who PM you or avoid them at any cost because there are lots of scammers out there pretending to help you but in the end scammer.

Don't expect anything from sending near-dust outputs to addresses with high balance (it's more of an annoyance),
using a vanity address with "LoadMe" prefix wont 'hypnotize' the owners of those addresses into sending bitcoins back to it.

If it is a Single Address account, then select it and go to "Export Account Key".

It's possible if you still have the mycelium app where you imported the private key.

You can follow the guide here is you want to export the private key - https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7d77i7/anyone_know_how_to_get_the_private_key_from_a/

You should be backing up your wallet in seed phrase form though, as it's easy to manual copy and store as compared to a private key

I think the next thread will be a good reference for this topic.

If you got it from Accounts tab -> 3 vertical dots from upper right  -> tap Export account keys(Public key), then it should be the extended public keys of you mycelium which starts with
"xpub" which is "public" and contains 111 characters the same as mine. But it might be good if you don't share it to anyone even its pub.
It composes all the used address of your HD wallet, which you can view it here https://www.blockchain.com/btc/xpub/<your xpub>
Code:

You can see it som discussion in reddit[1]

If you choose the Private one then its the one that starts "xprv" which explained above.

The problem with Mycelium is that you can get back up keys for the wallet, but looks like you can back up your private keys directly.

Even if op can't import the Address private key he should have a backup of the wallet keys if that address will stay active.

His private key wont be included to the backup if he do that since he said "imported one private key".
The seed phrase will only backup the HD account(s) from his Mycelium wallet.

Anyways, I believe OP isn't interested on the answers here as he already satisfied his goal with a single post.
