I observed several changes in the price  within a few months. With these changes, I wish to ask do you think the price of Bitcoin will ever hit $40k again?
I'm just being curious as a new trader.

Bitcoin at $40k in a few months is possible if everything falls right in place. But the reality is that nobody knows when everything will fall in place. There are a lot of factors involved. Bitcoin price has been struggling to stay at $24k since the past week. 40K price in a few months (say 3 - 6months) in my opinion is not attainable just yet.

In my personal opinion,  I would say yes,  it is highly possible for the price of bitcoin to hit $40k again,  but when this is going to happen is what no body knows.
It can happen in about a week from now,  it can happen in one month,  it can be in a year or it might even take up to five years before we see bitcoin trading at a price of $40k and above.

It's very likely that it will hit $40,000 again, it may not be this week or this month, but be sure that one day it will. If $40K is your target, then I believe you won't be disappointed. The most important virtue you have to practice as a trader who holds Bitcoin for long term gains is patience.

There's a high possibility the bitcoin will reach $40,000 or maybe even more soon however it will be hard to speculate the exact time or date on when it will happen. I highly suggest to wait a few months or even at least a year for the current price of bitcoin to double. Right now, it's best to accumulate more and more bitcoin and wait for long term results on your investment and accumulation.

Also, you can check out the history of Bitcoin's price chart and you'll be able to see some patterns and indicators that we might reach a higher price at a later date. But still there's a chance that things might go the wrong way and we might see some dipping depending on the situation.

it is likely for bitcoin to hit $40k again for sure, it could be even after a year or more, so far a lot of analysts say that crypto market could see a lot of red before that happens, especially after the latest bear market, so it could take some time but I'm positive that it will hit $40k and even more, but when is the real question.

Are you sure about that, because lots of red while we are still at $23000-24000 would mean that Bitcoin will fall under $16000-17000 and I'm not sure many people are expecting this range to be reached in the coming months. On the other hand 40k is a ambitious target , not likely to happen before the end of the year IMO.

of course the price will reach 40,000$ again, this is something that has more than a 60% chance of happening in the long term, of course we also have to be aware that speaking of the long term we could be facing a situation of 1 to 4 years for the price to reach $40,000 and go up to your ATH. but if we compare the profit that banks give per year VS the profit that bitcoin can give per year, we can easily see that putting money to buy bitcoin now and doing hodl for years is a good move

Just like how it was easy for bitcoin that it has come back to $20k which was the ATH of 2017 and then now the sitting and floor price that we've got.

So, it's very possible to happen if that's the price that you're asking to see. The next bull run will be exciting and $40k might just even be a passable price if it comes again.

I am always confident to say that bitcoin will reach a higher value, but the problem is we can't tell exactly as to when it will happen, maybe before the end of this year or probably early next year. However, if things will always be good for bitcoin and with the crypto market, then we can eventually witness bitcoin price surging in the next possible months. But if there will be unexpected negative news that will hit the market, most likely bitcoin will also be affected and will continue to have a downward trend in its price.

So far, we have been experiencing the cycle between bearish and bullish era.
If we see from that aspect, I really believe that BTC is able to reach $40k again and more, much higher in the next bullish era. I really bel8evvle this happen. The market has dropped so much and now this still keeps struggling during this bearish market. If the market is getting better too welcome bullish, the increase to $40k may be faster.
The question is when this will happen. We may be abke to predict but we cannot predict it it 100%. We still need waiting.

We might experience $40k in the upcoming week. We don't know how the market movement takes place. This is the reality of the bitcoin market. There is sign of bullish movement and this can make some positive changes in the entire cryptocurrency market. If something big as an adoption or some big corporate network makes a entry we can see a massive change in the price.

Not only will the price of Bitcoin reach $40,000 once again, it will even double that or even triple or quadruple. That $69,000 ATH is not the last ATH that Bitcoin will reach. I am still very much convinced that $100,000 is not just a wishful thinking. It will eventually come true. It's just a matter of time before it will finally be seen on the charts. $40,000 is just a mere short-term target. It could easily be achieved. I even guess that before this year ends Bitcoin has already surpassed $40,000.

Bitcoin will hit that again and will even make it to x10 of your desire price , 40k-400k but not in the sooner time , maybe next 5-10 years?

not talking about the time it takes for bitcoin to reach that goal then I can tell you that bitcoin will definitely hit $40k even $100k ath as people are expecting from bitcoin

For sure it will rise above $40k also but you need to be patient and hold your coins till that time.Have you invested at $40k which is why you asking this so that you can cash out your capital once it reach there? See if this is the case then many are there who invested at the top also but in long run bull market will make your recovery with profits also so just be patient.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if we got back to $40k this year. The normal scenario is that after the next halving we will beat the previous ath of $69k, where the next strong resistance will be $100k, which I expect us to beat after several attempts.

But yes, we will definitely get back to $40k and surpass that mark.

It is not really a matter of if but of when, the price of bitcoin will surely hit that price again what we do not know is when such a thing could happen, there is a possibility that we could get to see that during this year, however the best chances for this to happen would be during the next bull run, unfortunately the next bull run is still very far away, so if for some reason you are expecting that level to be reached soon the chances are not in favor of that outcome happening, so you need to act accordingly.

That's low compared to its ATH and never in its history of bitcoins price did not increase its price and break its old record price after it falls. The price will eventually recover but we don't know when it is if you check its history, more likely to occur after a few months from bitcoin halving and that's 2 years from now. Long-time holders are the happiest people right now because they have the chance to buy low right now.

Bitcoin will reach $40k again but you have to be patient because the price of bitcoin has not been able to increase sharply and must pass various tests in the market. The current conditions are good for you to try to enter the market because the prices vary, meaning that you can use prices that go up and down like this to buy low and sell high. If you do that, the price will increase again and eventually return to $40k. Or you can also just hold your bitcoins while waiting for the price to return to $40k but you have to be patient.

Yes, few weeks ago we have seen the massive move of Bitcoin price from $17k  to $24k show that the price will reach $40k or $50k before the end of this year 2022. Many people has used this bearish season to buy a huge amount of bitcoins and hold because they believed that Bitcoin price will hit back to $50k soon, for those that made use of the opportunity to purchased Bitcoin to smile again when the price increase to $40k or $50k.

Yes of course the bitcoin price will reach 40k USD again. The real question is when, not if. It might take 2 months or 2 years, but eventually the bitcoin price will recover again. Bitcoins has been around for many years now and tends to always move in cycles. After the current bear market will come the next bill market.  As a new trader I would recommend you buy some bitcoins and leave them as a long term investment. The market is very volatile right now, your position can easily go up or down 10% in a week. Making a quick profit or loss can motivate you to trade more often which will always cost transaction. Best to to hold out and wait for a new ATH.

For the last 30 days all what Bitcoin has been doing was growing. There were no news that might cause price to go up all these days. I have feeling, that Bitcoin will either loose value and go back to 20, or will continue slowly growing up. Answering topic question globally - yes, Bitcoin will hit $40k, but I dont expect this to happen very soon. Maybe I have a future vision of a pessimist, but I am expecting heating season to influence Bitcoin growth greatly.

It's just a matter of time. You have to be patience. BTC have faced many dump market before hitting the moon again. If we can analyze the past market, then it's clear that BTC will go to the moon again. Hold your assets to your dear heart and wait for that time to come. I remember a lot of threads asking whether bitcoin's price will reach x amount again, only for their questions to be answered with a huge 'YES'. Most of those who asked this question are either those who bought beyond those prices and those who are just trying to trigger some people. But yeah, it's still possible for bitcoin to reach $40k or even surpass it. Just look at the historical price data for 12 years and you'll see that bitcoin keeps on breaking records here and there. Well, $40k is only about $15k away from the price we are currently at today, and that price that is hanging in your head can be reached in a few days when the conditions for it are created. The real problem is that we are in a bear market which, as in the past, will last much longer than some have the patience to wait.

$ 1 billion is too much for Bitcoin, that was very far from happening.
But if we talk about $40k, not that close but the chances are very clear to us that it was reachable. After I few more pumps, it was over and hit the target.
But as of now, we are still in the bear season - one reason why it wasn't easy to reach that price. Might not this year but absolutely it will happen someday.
This is why we have to invest now while we still have the chance to buy them at cheaper price for this will be changed someday.

i'm not an expert on this but i saw recently there's been news about blackrock and coinbase, it looks like now good news is starting to emerge in the crypto world, i think hitting $40k is an easy thing for bitcoin to achieve if we really get out from this bear market and at least touch the price above $30k

If you're involved in Bitcoin for longer periods of time you will realise this situation isn't anything new. In fact it has been even worse but the price recoverd. Volatility is something we have to accept if we want to deal with Bitcoin.
Of course it's hard to tell how the situation will develope and I'm aware that current situation with price might take a while but the price will recover again.
How much and in what period of time I wouldn't dare to predict but ups and downs can't be avoided and patience and good planning are the key.

Not everyone has positive idea about the market yet. But slowly the signal is going towards positive. Some experts are again hinting that it could come down again. I think it might be limited to $27-$28k with in few days. By the end of this year, it may be slightly higher than 35K again. Again it will touch the new ATH next year.

Bitcoin will hit 40k again . it is possible and i think it is possible within some months . bitcoin price again pumping slowly and btc already reach 24k again . and i think the correction is end now time to pump whole market including bitcoin .

When the price reached near to $17k everyone were speculating that the price will drop down to $10k - $13k, but the market re-bounced and went above $20k. From there slowly it have crossed $24k in a much stabilized way. On account of this we can expect the price of bitcoin reach $40k in a slow way. If it was able to happen within the ongoing years, then we can expect the large scale growth along with the days of halving.

Currently BTC is in a fairly strong resistance. Today, BTC tried to return to 25K, but again, btc failed to breakout. However, there is a potential for this 25K to pass in the near term, since there are a positive signals from several indicators, including MACD on TF 1W. 40K, it will be achievable in the next few months. August is going to have its first maximum in more than $25k according to CMC and that's fine, I think we are in times where the periods to analyze prices or have projections should not exceed a week, you have to be cautious especially when you don't have the ball of Cristal.

Yes, if the Bitcoin market is perfectly fine then surely Bitcoin can stay at $40k.However, we have been observing Bitcoin for quite some time now, but it is hovering between 23k and 24k dollars.If there is no bad news and if different countries have good opinion about Bitcoin then surely Bitcoin can take a better position.But we have seen that Bitcoin was at a maximum of 69k dollars, so it is not impossible for Bitcoin to go to 40k dollars.Bitcoin will take a better position if only time works a little better.

It’s always possible for bitcoin to reach that amount, it can even surge higher than that. But it takes good market condition and positive news in the market before we can observe for bitcoin price to start surging. If anyone tells you with certainty that they either know it will or won’t hit 40,000 again they are completely full of it. You don't need to be curious anyway. Just have to understand the volatility of the market and also check its history. But because we are still in the bear season, you could really see that Bitcoin price is cheap. However, this is just temporary, it will be changing someday. The price of Bitcoin is determined by some factors. In the past few months Bitcoin seem to have been trapped in the bear market, this bear market is not going to last for ever as Bitcoin is trying to outstand the situation of the market too. Crypto is a volatile market and high volatility if you only want to reach $40k it can definitely happen, it's just a matter of time because currently bitcoin is still in bearish mode. people say the new ATH will hit $100k in a few years or it could be faster. and vice versa, bitcoin hit the bottom price back below $20k when a lot of negative sentiment started to appear, when that happened then it was a good opportunity to buy and add bitcoin assets. I can't say for sure if it will happen in the next few months or if it will happen at the end of the year, but I also agree with everyone here that the target is $40k, for sure bitcoin will hit it again.  The market is always volatile but one thing is for sure bitcoin will always go up if we look long term in years.

That's possible but will take some time years ago back in 2018 when the market collapsed people were asking the same question about 15K and they were worried if bitcoin will ever see the price of 15K or not and this happened, take some time, and better to say years but finally we saw that price and even more since again. According to that experience, I can say we will see the price of 40K and even more once again but first, the market should finish the bearish phase because right now and even after the recent bullish movements we are still in a bearish phase and cannot expect to see high prices.

As BTC is King of coin and struggling from couple of months to sustained and recovering. Moving around 24 and 25K as hit the 17k lower low in the month of June. And rising up slowly. The question about 40$K is very tricky. As we see, I'm wrong not sure that if you sustained for half of year in BTC then I assure you a huge benefits for you.

Yeah we all can make speculations regarding the price but can't tell exactly what will happen next but as we estimate we are left with $16k approx to touch the mark of $40k this year again and we still have 4 months behind so if we estimate it then it seems achievable if some big investment are made into the market.But will see with time what happens exactly.

Exactly this logic for sure. I mean we have never stayed under ATH forever, we always kept on breaking it, even if it takes years, we always broke the price record. Which means that 68k was the biggest price we saw, and that means we are going to be 70k or more in the future, I do know when but it will happen for sure.

This is what I care about and I believe that it will happen sooner rather than later. That's how we could make sure that crypto is doing better. Many speculations are showing nonstop. Some are saying that cryptos will again reach ATH but to some technical analyses, it will be hard for majority of cryptos to again break ATH. In reality, it is quite close to impossible to predict market behavior, accurately or atleast precisely. There are many factors affectinf market value and each of these factors are changing from time to time which further affect market prices. On my end, I do believe that someday Bitcoin's price will again soar high along with other cryptos.

There's a pattern to follow though to help you at least somewhat be assured that the prices are likely to go up in the future, a quick look and comparison to patterns during halvings of bitcoin can be used to help you predict when will the prices go up again. That's my basis though, not saying that it's accurate but I see that each halving, bitcoin doesn't gets a new floor.

Some patterns of speculation help us to analyze the upside opportunities will increase going forward, Bitcoin market conditions have stagnated below 50% decline after the crash, so my prediction on the future halving will be a high recovery and so very confident that a $40k recovery will be achievable after the bear market.

If you met the circle before this last one you wouldn't be scared as to asking this question. When Bitcoin hit its low of $3k+ after it did $19k+ in 2017, many thought that was going to be its end. Like a phoenix it is, it showed up again and did over $64k in 2021. At its current price of less than $24k, those coming newly into this game will think it won't spring back and above $64k. I'm banking on Bitcoin to do more than a triple on its last ATH of $64k. My confidence is that high on this because I've seen such rebound replicated twice since I joined this industry. I'm almost 100% sure it will not only reach $40k but $60k again. The only question is when.

Here's how I see it. Bitcoin is a growing market that isn't promoted by anyone. It relies on its current user base to advertise it and spread the word. It's not a company that buys time on TV. It's not an MLM where you're getting paid by getting a few people to invest. The longer it's around the more people hear about it and start to use it. Knowing that and limited supply, we simply have to slowly go up in price, especially that fiat money like USD faces growing inflation. $10 from 2020 when bitcoin was worth 20k is not the same $10. It's purchasing power is 10% lower, so if the inflation continues, in 10 years your 1BTC will be worth around 40k, even if the demand doesn't grow and it will grow because we have halvings which are another important factor that decides the price.  

Yes of course there will be no question whether Bitcoin will reach 40K. But even though the market conditions have stabilized a bit in the past few days, I think we still have to wait for a good while to see good pumps. No one can give 100% guarantee that when it will happen it's totally depends on market condition. However, according to many experienced market analysts, the market will start to recover by mid to late 2023.

It may or may not happen anytime soon. We cannot predict the market man. With the upcoming merge of Ethereum next month, there are no guarantees or promises if the price of Bitcoin would shoot up to $40k unless the next "Elon Musk" is going to successfully hype us later on. Just my two sats.

Since there's no way we will know when will bitcoin price will hit that price level, just go with the flow of the current trend and do your best to accumulate bitcoin as much as possible. That should be your task for now instead of thinking about when your preferred bitcoin price will hit.

And secondly, it's very obvious that Bitcoin have experience all this issues and situation of dragging down and after sometimes it rise again and meet up the standard of it. Perhaps you are new and I understand that but you also have to dig deeper and make more searches from the past.
Well, as we can't deny that people are more excited about the upcoming halving and they are optimistic about the market price. You can also make yourself believe as well that we can possibly double our price today or even more. If you can just see OP, the last 2017 bull season BTC had reached almost $20,000 and last year was around $67,000. And from that, you can definitely say that $40,000 was really achievable.

Although the price of Bitcoin has stabilized above $20k for a few weeks, it can be said that it is not safe, because there is a possibility of the price of
Bitcoin could drop again to below $20k. As you said right now we are still in a bearish trend, so there is a possibility that the price of Bitcoin will

My view for a while was we spend 2022 doing pretty much nothing.    No big gains, no great movement beyond just retreading our own footsteps because thats what the market requires and needs to establish and confirm itself as valid.    The market always matters more then what you or we want, tough luck like that but you take the gains so the pain is the price also its not free.
   Even with a negative view 40k its possible, base reasoning to argue is volatility.   Volatile pricing is like a Richter scale, its not helpful overall but it means we can gain big or lose large amounts and we're not over volatility in crypto and outside of its sector such as the Forex and Bond markets will express volatility.   That makes crypto able to reach 40k again without requiring optimism about the global economy.

The main point is that BTC isnt even especially harshly sold, its lost its top half or best gains and when I say lost I dont care about peak prices because they arent half as significant as the most regular pricing put in at the base of the chart.  The majority of volume is built in anticipation, the correct view of BTC is we are neutral and if you dont reflect that perfectly normal attitude you are the negative not the market.
  Markets dont serve you, the primary purpose to make sure they continue to operate and serve the majority and highest volume possible, whatever price is necessary .

How do you know that now more and more people are investing in Bitcoin? because I only see the amount of demand and supply on Bitcoin is getting better so the opportunity for Bitcoin to be at that price is also more possible on the condition that there is no more decline in the market or a large bear market in Bitcoin.
I don't doubt Bitcoin for that, but I only doubt it will achieve in the near future because Bitcoin price is still under $25K right now.

I am optimistic that the price will return to $40k soon, there are many indications that can make us optimistic and what we often hear is that more and more countries are legalizing or making bitcoin an accepted asset, this will certainly make the demand for bitcoin continue to increase.

In the short term I also think that it's hard to expect bitcoin to hit $40K and I'm not even sure it will happen this year. But you can expect it to be achievable in the long term even if it's just a possibility.

Bitcoin had reached more than that , and even will reach more than the ATM so expecting this to happen is indeed but the time prospect is the problem if when to happen and how much it could be.

The answer would provably yes since there are so many times that bitcoin hit the floor so bad but it recover and hit again another all time high which people didn't expect. We are going to for sure break it again. People who are wondering if we will are not the type of people we should be considering as possible experts on crypto. There is no doubt that crypto will be over 68k let alone 40k. I think it is getting closer to 40k idea though, I mean with this great increase to 24k and then there was a small drop that didn't really drop that much, it proves that sellers are out, and now there is a hype going on.

As you've notice like the rest of us noticed, Btc and most of the alts in crypto market today are struggling coming from a huge dip. It doesn't even look like it's recovering. Though it has bounce back a bit from the bottom, but this year are most likely Btc remains bearish.
So, you might want to stretch your patience a little further and try to hold it till the price hits your target.

We have lots of references online. After knowing the truth, you will say that btc really can return to its previous price. The only thing is that we don't know the exact time when it will occur.

It can be shorter or longer but anyway it shouldn't really matter for you since you said are a trader so you can still be able to profit if you ride the fluctuations. Only those who seek for a higher price are the investors and if they do, will go for more, not only 40k.

I think it is pretty much a given that bitcoin is going to recover and it will reach a new all time high at some point in the future, what we really do not know is when and all of this is going to happen, and while we know that the market of cryptocurrencies can move in ways that are impossible to predict, a recovery by 2023 seems to be too soon at least to me, I really think that 2023 is going to be another difficult year in which we will need to hold our coins and in which we will need to avoid as much as possible to panic during that time frame, and wait until 2024 before more favorable market conditions can be found.

I feel as bullish as everyone else I guess. The amount of people stacking sats and different incentive programs allowing users to accumulate Bitcoin seem almost certain to send the price sky high at some point. I’m a bit surprised we didn’t hit $100K on the last bubble, but it seems a certainty on the next round.

Just looking back last 2018-2020, the market is really in terrible condition but it eventually moved high. Reaching $40k is not a requirement but I believe we even surpass that amount in the coming days when the bull season comes. It was been known to us about halving and we are aware of the situation where price spikes are going to happen, and all of us are quite excited about that.

Price will definitely reach $40k again soon in the future. It's just difficult to say when exactly it will be as we are in bear market right now. Just like the crash way back 2018 where bitcoin pumped from $20k then went down to almost $3k, many people lose hope during those time and said bitcoin won't recover anymore. But in 2020, it reached $20k again and reach a new all-time high after that year.

You could be a newbie with a few months to be fair, that doesn't mean they are not a new trader. I also believe in what you say although I don't have to completely believe you. But if it's about Bitcoin, then I'm always more convinced of a price increase like it has in the past and an increase in the price of Bitcoin to $40k or even $68k is something that is still very possible even if it takes a long time. The view for the rest of this year rests on moves like Euro weakness and the developing situation in energy supply across Europe.  The reason its such an involved answer is Euro movement ties into Dollar strength which is a weight of sentiment against speculative assets such as BTC.   The lack of energy is so great in Europe that it could mean less business done, overall a restricting force on growth and generally the circulation of currency somehow that ties into BTC progress.   Eventually it will correct but there are big reasons to suspect BTC stages no big recovery for now.

For now I think there's more chance for the price to hit 20k than 40k because we are already below 21k but this shouldn't make us feel sad. A fall in price is better if we want bitcoin to grow up faster because a fall in the price will trigger lots of buyers than seeing btc becoming stable or stagnant in value. Short traders on the other hand are the ones who sell at a loss because they can always buy again and you said the price changes very quickly? This is why they need to hurry.

If there is one here that no need to rush, that will be the long term investors. A small/quick change in the price is nothing for them but their goal is to earn bigger profits by doing a one time sell off.

Despite of the uncertainties happening in the market and those inevitable events that keep hitting and affecting the market, I still chose to be optimistic on the future price of bitcoin. I know $40k will be reached eventually and might even go beyond that, and I think that’s not impossible as bitcoin is the most proven crypto asset that reaches the highest and most expensive price. Maybe not happening this year, but in the next preceding years I guess bitcoin price will come up with a better one.

$40,000 USD is nothing and it will once again hit that number anytime soon. Remember, the $40,000 USD isn't even the all time high. Look at the charts. The price always reaches a new all time high and then after few months or years, the new all time high gets beaten and another ATH takes place.

It will , or are you asking if this will happen in this soon day? then I am not sure if this is something to come that day because there are so much happening in crypto market nowadays and Bitcoin isn't ready yet to break that 40k again.
I know it will indeed returning because the last ATH is almost 70k then why doubt that this will happen again in the future.
