Title: Be a Bitcoin believer
Post by: BccKing on August 17, 2022, 07:56:44 AM
Cryptocurrency pioneers, nice to meet you, this is my dad's account.
He is a dedicated promoter of the crypto community. He used to explain Bitcoin to me when I was a kid. He watched Bitcoin come into being and grow. Because Bitcoin was too expensive to target for long-term storage, he often remorse. Many times he lost money by investing in cheaper altcoins, and the chronic stress of family life and work overload left him depressed.
I read the discussion on the development of Bitcoin in the early days of the forum, and felt very magical and incredible. This is a great invention, a great era. When Bitcoin was born, I was a 7-year-old ignorant girl, and I also missed it. got it.
We weren't there when shells were money, we weren't there when gold was there, we weren't there when cars were there, and I wasn't there when electricity was there. Those who can mine 50BTC or 25BTC in one block, you are the luckiest!
The developers of the Bitcoin community, a group of young geniuses, who did not want to have fun when they were young, but got into the field of cryptography and created a great Bitcoin. For their ideals and beliefs, I adore them very much!
I hate altcoins, they made my dad lose money and they are just imitating bitcoin, a lot of altcoins are just to scam money and then disappear, and the real king is bitcoin. So I call on everyone to join me and only believe in Bitcoin, abandon those altcoins that cheat money, and just follow it!

Cryptocurrency pioneers, nice to meet you, this is my dad's account.

Welcome to the forum!
Since this is your dad's account it may be a better idea to start your new account.
With differences in knowledge and other aspects you may be accused of buying or stealing accounts, or you may be accused of shitposting for asking newbie questions from a 5 years old account. Just saying.

When Bitcoin was born, I was a 7-year-old ignorant girl, and I also missed it.

Bitcoin is still very young, you didn't really miss it. Don't look back to the past, look towards the future. It may be much better.

we weren't there when cars were there, and I wasn't there when electricity was there

This I don't understand.

Those who can mine 50BTC or 25BTC in one block, you are the luckiest!

Most of those didn't understand the value of Bitcoin and spent, wasted or lost that long ago.
I think that those who bought at 1$ or so may be in a better position. Of course, there are just speculations. :)

I hate altcoins, they made my dad lose money

Hate is not healthy. But avoiding them may actually be :)
Again, welcome to the forum and enjoy the ride!

Altcoin scam comes from coins that are mined before a project is launched, the coins are sold before listing the it on exchanges, the developers can leave the project on the day it supposed to be launched and take away all investor money. Some developers can just list the coin and sell all their coins which they have from the beginning, making investors to lose in the dumping process that can make the project become useless and having no future. Going for bitcoin is better to avoid scam.

I agree with  NeuroticFish (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5410187.msg60767665#msg60767665) that being your true self should make you more comfortable and can be known by the many contributors who may struggle with you before. I may be more than you feel if I regret the backwardness of knowing the forum and bitcoin. My principle is that when I can't exchange fiat money, I can look for bounties and signature services here. actually altcoins also have many phases and choices and I don't regret being a child yesterday afternoon. Thank you for sharing your story about your past and your father's.

Because Bitcoin was too expensive to target for long-term storage, he often remorse.
Storing or holding Bitcoin doesn't cost you any money except the price of buying a hardware wallet or purchasing and setting up a proper cold storage. After that, it doesn't matter if you have 0.1 BTC or 100 BTC. Unless, of course, your father was using some weird centralized service that charged him for keeping coins in their wallets/vaults/whatever.

...a lot of altcoins are just to scam money and then disappear...
Don't forget their purpose of making their creators and developers rich. That's the ultimate goal and it's closely connected to tricking investors into putting money into such projects.

This I don't understand.
I think she was trying to say that this generation wasn't around when electricity was invented, when the first cars were created, when shells were used as money, etc. But we are here now to see the evolution of Bitcoin.

OK, if one was around when there was the gold rush or when the first Bitcoin blocks were mined easily and cheap, I would understand to be seen as a loss. But for the first cars or the electricity... nothing really big to monetize (unless I am missing something).

Do not have regret that you didn’t have access to bitcoin when you were young,  I think this is your time to be a bitcoiner and the opportunity is always their for everyone that comes to know bitcoin. Bitcoin is the best and the only cryptocurrency I can think of that is safe to acquire,  other altcoins are nothing but full of imitations trying to be like bitcoin. If anyone should decide to invest in cryptocurrency  it is risky to invest more in altcoins because they are not always reliable.

That is the risk that will be accepted for traders and investors, at least analyzing it is important not just relying on lust to buy, at least looking at the aspects before investing, it is already very difficult to target bitcoin, especially ETH, both of them are already very difficult to have more income from investment, often there is panic that finally everyone gets affected, maybe ordinary people will not believe in the progress of the world today..

At some point in live, we all have several chances to make effective use of an opportunity but missed it because of disbelieves, fear and personal arrogance, but in bitcoin the good therein is that an opportunity never end or cease from existence as long as you remain focus with what you're doing, study the digital currency, have a good knowledge and pursue a holding for it, the other side effects that alter most people's mindset is the misconception they had with bitcoin and altcoins, they assume all to be thesame, of course they may since they all fall under cryptocurrency but not all crypto worth the standard of a digital currency aside bitcoin.

I too agree on this fact.
It’s not so late to enter into the Bitcoins ecosystem, and if you see the price currently then Bitcoins are at a great price to buy and hold.
If OP manages to buy some Bitcoins and store for a year , then definitely he might see double profit of his investment.
At last we need to learn the lesson that never we should buy shitty altcoins in order to get quick profits in shorter period of time.

When shells are used as money,
When the first piece of gold was extracted and used as money,
When electricity and automobiles were invented,
I wasn't born yet,
I was young when Bitcoin was invented,
Therefore, I am very envious of the early Bitcoin miners, who can mine 50BTC per block
They were lucky, I don't seem so lucky!

Since this is Bitcointalk.org or Bitcoin forum, it's stupid if there's a user who don't believe in Bitcoin. I mean, why in the first place he joined this forum, if he's not believe in Bitcoin. I believe he will either spread FUDs or lies and blame about Bitcoin.

Thank you for your reply, the use of this account is with his consent, and he will not come here to post in the future.
Does this mean your dad will never use this account again and now you're the one who have full control about this account (BccKing) ? I will wait for your answer.

1. The misunderstanding caused by the translation software. He trusts Bitcoin very much, but does not invest in Bitcoin. He feels that the unit price of Bitcoin is very expensive. He has invested in a lot of altcoins and caused losses. He regrets it.
2. He has passed away, and he gave me this account. If I re-register a new account, I am worried that there will be restrictions on speech, so I use this account.

Why don’t you create your own account, sounds like you are very interested in bitcoin and chatting about it. Some or what you wrote is kind of confusing and I’m not sure entirely accuracy (cryptographers who helped build bitcoin have fun just the same as anyone else). One thing I will mention though is altcoins didn’t make your dad lose money, he lost the money on his own. There are risk to investing in highly volatile assets, in this case coins, especially when if you read all of their white papers, is clear to see they mostly all provide no utility, therefore it’s a complete lottery ticket you’re hoping someone pumps up for you. Also some alts aren’t bitcoin competition..coins like Ethereum are smart contract based coins that do entirely different things.

There is no need to create a new forum account, if it was given to you legitimately by the previous owner. For example, Hal Finney's kids allegedly also have the password to his bitcointalk account.

I advise that you revise your negative tag to neutral.

You keep stating how unlucky you are not to have gotten the chance to mine when the block rewards were 50 and 25 BTC respectively. But I doubt you would have mined bitcoin in those early days. The userbase was a lot smaller back then and no one could have predicted that it would explode the way it did. And even if you did mine some, who is to say that you wouldn't have sold it long time ago the first time those coins' value jumped up by 50% or 100%?!

Focus on today and forget about missed opportunities. You have now become a part of a group of investors, backers, and advocates that use this digital currency and see the benefits of doing so. That's what you should focus on. Find a way to earn it and keep them coming.

When you wake up is your morning in every business, at your initial point of view from your dad telling you about Bitcoin while you're on dream point and now you realized that Bitcoin has come to reality in real life, which soon or later Bitcoin price may hit 100k or above as it predicted early, Hence still have chance to invest Bitcoin in future return profit.

I am a crazy believer in bitcoin. I don't know why, but I am crazy about Bitcoin. Just imagine 3-4 years ago when I always used to check my Facebook profile and messenger to check if a girl messaged me or not. However, for the past two years, when I wake up and take my phone in my hands, I simply open trading view and watch the chart. Some times I couldn't believe it was me! Is this me or someone else? But yeah, I have to admit that Bitcoin changed my life. That is why I am loyal to it.

When you find something worthy to invest your time you will stick to it and if the thing is bring returns in money, you will be motivated to stick to it the more. Some of the things we do and think it's the best thing is because of the information available to us. When we get brighter and broader information, we will understand how wasteful those days were.

Bitcoin does not need to beg anyone to believe it, it has proven himself over time he needs to be trusted.

I agree with you about altcoins. My story is similar to your father's because at first, when I joined the forum, I also thought that bitcoin is great but too expensive. I was looking into various ways to make money online like cloud mining, investing in altcoins, claiming airdrops. All that has proven to be a waste of time.

When you try too hard you lose money or get scammed. You claim airdrops and hold them thinking the altcoins will gain value but most of them lose and after years of holding you have even less than you had when you claimed them. I even held some coins that were praised and were supposed to have potential like Cardano that is now worth about 20% of its ATH price... If any of you still think altcoins are a better investment than bitcoin, you can't count.

Everyone has that feeling when you think that you're part of the history or have seen the actual history of bitcoin's progress. It's really incredible to think that this invention has helped a lot of people and we're probably talking about millions of people now.

Well, sad to say that it's not only your dad that has lost money to altcoins. Even me, but I only hate those altcoins that are scam and when we say scam, those that have the intention to steal money from the others after making a crap project.

Yes, Bitcoin is the safe haven in the crypto investment scheme but the altcoin scam happened in many ways not just only those you listed because the dev team not keeping his promises is also a scam which we can also list Vitalik among them when the ETH2.0 roadmap was released.
I know some ETH enthusiasts won't like my statement but it is the truth.

Hello there, nice to see you here because your father explained more about Bitcoin and you are interested in. Btw, I agree with @NeuroticFish, maybe you can create your own account and learn from the basics and early in this forum. so that you can see and know the process of rising up the rank here and being more informative and contributing to this forum.

I think I can feel this, because I also experienced the same, losing much money because of shitcoins  ;D
But in fact, right now, I am still holding some altcoins in which they are top coins. But they are still dropped right now. That is why I must be more slectvie to pick altcoin, at least Ethereum and BNB.
But, I cannot also ignore that I love much Bitcoin than altcoins. I know whay you ony wnat to be Bitcoin lover and beleiver, because we know exactly how Bitcoin.

Never too late to believe in Bitcoin mate. I have done DCA with Bitcoin starting May 2022 until now at least once a month with my extra "not beer" money.

It's my mistake back then in not doing DCA years ago because of my lack of belief and being too complacent on what I have with various altcoins that I have earned. Instead of converting most of them back to Bitcoin, I was too greedy to hold them until I got hacked last April 2022. It's a lesson to be learned.

Most of people who started in cryptocurrency especially those people few years ago for sure lost lot of money buying random altcoins, even me , I can admit it. If I just hold Bitcoin instead of buying those altcoins, I have no losses at all and profits were good. This is the power of Bitcoin, the highest market capitalization on cryptocurrency market.

Everyone who has joined this forum is sure they really believe in bitcoin, and they will never spread fake news about bitcoin, because they are looking for additional income through bounties, even though there are a few people who hate bitcoin maybe they are just people who do not know more about bitcoin, and they have never invested in bitcoin, and they are also afraid of risk, if I personally really believe in bitcoin, because after I got to know bitcoin my life has started to change.

I think your dad is one among the person who believed in Bitcoin Cash during the split. I've made this statement based on OP name which is BccKing. Based on the account created date Op could've experienced this seems to be a coincidence. According to me, bitcoin is the best and just because altcoins made him loss we can't conclude altcoins aren't needed. Because, if there is just bitcoin the growth won't be big. The competence keeps things in an updated way.

Altcoins are centralized coins that have ownership that is why some project owner can easily make it scam project if he want. Where investors have to rely on faith. There are many such projects which are created only for the purpose of scamming. Bitcoin is the best in that regard. Which will give you maximum assurance. Where you spend a long time is not in vain. So I think there is no alternative to Bitcoin if you want to secure your investment.

He writes 2 identical topics and posts on 2 different boards. I remember I just saw his post in the Altcoin Discussion board and now it also comes up in the Bitcoin discussion. OP changed the name of the topic and posted them in 2 places. What is your purpose, OP? You should close one of your 2 topics, because they are one they only differ in the name of the topic.

Bitcoin believer is a good thing since you know the potential of bitcoin and you must be holding bitcoin for long term also. However, seeing charts every morning is not a good thing indeed. This shows that you are interested in the current price of bitcoin and if the price of bitcoin is dumping, it will make you emotionally sad. However, it's difficult not to become addicted to seeing price charts every now and then (unless you are a trader).

First of all, Hello! it was nice to read your story and I agree about it when you called the altcoins copycat, it's really true and lots of them don't really have any good agenda for the future rather they've just been created to join the hype and mostly they are just some pump and dump coins that are created to scam people. Just like for example the LUNA coin where became one of the biggest scam altcoins in history. lots of people lose their money just like that. You won't find this kind of story with bitcoins, because if you check its history, it always recovers no matter how hard it hits the floor.

Bitcoin builds some trust after hitting the first rally which gives a surprise to the people. Now, many people make assumptions that it is a profitable investment and perhaps right. Becoming a Bitcoin believer is not hard especially if you are an open-minded person and are neutral between the negative and positive sides of Bitcoin. I was into that level coz I know that Bitcoin is helping me a lot and a lot more in the future. I can't be wrong with this nor it was a wrong decision but that's it.

Yes, it's true that I trust Bitcoin more than all the coins in the crypto market. And Bitcoin is trusted by everyone because it is the most trusted coin and number 1 in the coin market. So I hold this coin the most, and it brings me the most profit. So this is the coin I prefer the most.

Many people are fooled by Altcoins, but not Bitcoin. Altcoins are the reason many communities distrust crypto.
Bitcoin future is going to be so great it will have to be believed that it will be even better one day.
Almost all sectors talk about Bitcoin. This is a sign that Bitcoin is a very valuable asset.
Bitcoin supply is only 21 million. That's the final amount. It cannot be overstated and cannot be reproduced.

The only trustworthy altcoin is Ethereum. BNB is still younger than Ethereum which I think can still be trusted. But talking about Altcoins is not interesting because it can be disappointing. Many of the Altcoin projects end up being scams.

You are welcome to the forum. It is very emotional to hear that your dad gave you access to this account before he past on. This forum might be very precious to him and he believes that you can run his account effectively. I am also thrilled that you are a female that is interested in Bitcoin. In my country most females are not interested in the crypto space. But you need to keep learning about bitcoin and one of the ways of doing that is to read materials or posts in this forum. You can also read good books on Bitcoin and also ensure that you become very conversant with the forum rules. Thanks for joining.

Probably the best advice to begin with and place to start. Yeah, your dad may be family and might have given you the freehand to use his accounts in participating in discussions as we as starting your own on the forum but, its a best idea to create yours. It doesn't cost you nothing, just tap on registration, fill in the required details and register.
Having two persons use one account can result in discrepancies where, one get confused over something one might have been knowledgeable about and would raise questions.
Your already enthusiast @OP and as such, pushing it further away believer by creating an account and building your own path on a bitcoin/crypto enthusiast forum as it is here would aid your belief. Your most welcome when you finally join us!

It's impressive that your dad pointed you in the best place to start your crypto journey and recounted his bitter experience with the wrong investment choices.
Actually a lot of things you can learn on bitcoin both technically, volatility, security etc. Next is your challenge to explore this forum to find your interests. It would be better if you tell a little about your background that might give you the opportunity to earn passive income in this space.

According to me, bitcoin is the best and just because altcoins made him loss we can't conclude altcoins aren't needed. Because, if there is just bitcoin the growth won't be big. It seems to me that on the contrary the growth would be much greater if there were no altcoins. All of these altcoins are pulling in the large capitalisation that bitcoin would have had. But I agree with you that not all altcoins are useless, but unfortunately such coins can be counted on the fingers. The rest are all copies of other projects with no practical application.

Loosing your money to altcoins is a sign that your plan didn't go well which you need to use another strategies that will help you to recover your money back. Many people are making progress in their altcoin investment, because they exercise patience when the price of those altcoins were very low in the market that made them to store them in their wallet because they believed that someday they will going to make a good profits from them.

maybe a very big mistake if you choose a new altcoin because the new coin actually does not have definite clarity, especially not yet registered on the trading exchange, and does not yet have hype, in fact that is also the risk faced by every crypto investor who dares to lose if they want to make a profit.

A new altcoin with no clarity about the trading exchange and about its developer is a shitcoin that will only result in losses. Better to choose bitcoin is the right choice. If you really want to choose an altcoin, choose an altcoin that has been registered and trusted, such as ETH and BNB, there is no doubt anymore. Don't bet money just for new altcoins that are not clear.

Altcoins tend to offer higher risk and reward, Altcoins have more room to grow, and even some Altcoins
are ambitious projects that offer more use cases. However, they also have a higher chance of failure.
And don't see Altcoin as quick cash, see it as an opportunity without risking everything.
Investing in the Altcoins is worth checking out for hands-on cryptocurrency investors willing to do their homework.
But the Altcoins are only a small part of our portfolio. IMO

Welcome to the forum just has everyone has said been your real self will make your growth more exponential. You can start by creating a new account. Technology will continue to evolve. One thing i have come to understand about Bitcoin is that as long as it is not backed by any government asset or utility the price in the future will remain unpredictable. so every time is a good time to catch the market

You really think the early miners were really lucky. The lucky ones were those who believed in the future of Bitcoin and did hold. Some miners who mined more than 50 and 25BTC back then might have misplaced their keys, some exchanged for fiat and a few still held if they are any luck ones in the Bitcoin era now is you and i because we have both seen the possibility of Bitcoin making new highs and all we need do is buy and hold.  And not just that Bitcoin is worth more valuable now than when it was 50 and 25BTC incentivised

Many feel the can trade altcoin just the way the trade Bitcoin. Altcoin remains shit projects and its discretion is subject to DYOR. To play safe in the Bitcoin ecosystem Bitcoin is the preferred project

Actually, it's not too wrong to put options in alt after bitcoin but of course this must be with a sense of being ready to lose more and with observations that are really reliable.
We have to see which altcoins we can really invest in because if we make a little mistake, especially trying something new, we will only lose a lot from our careless actions.

Investors will only dare to lose on an obvious product like Bitcoin. And they certainly don't want to lose money on a new coin whose future is still unclear or its potential in the market, especially if it can't be traded on any exchange.

Super good advice, and it would be even better if you want to make an investment bet then don't choose any altcoin other than Bitcoin. Because putting money into Bitcoin is a very wise choice and there is no need to bring any doubts for Bitcoin because there is no better coin than Bitcoin now.

Actually, it's not too wrong to put options in alt after bitcoin but of course this must be with a sense of being ready to lose more and with observations that are really reliable.

I don't think many people are ready to lose their money through any altcoin, because anyone can see and conclude that when Bitcoin is declining as it is now, other altcoins have also decreased except for stablecoins that have seen a slight increase in the market. That's also due to some people releasing altcoins and holding stablecoins for a while before making repurchases.

There is a difference between putting your money into alts, versus putting your money into a brand new shitcoin. I believe that there are some people with good intentions but there isn't really anything that we could do which would help us with the brand new one because even with good intentions they could fail. Alts include all the big names, and all the small names and we shouldn't be going with brand new ones that are uncertain.

Some people will do that anyway, even the shittiest one could get tens of thousands of dollars investment. I have been part of a dozen projects so far in marketing, and I can tell you even scams get money unfortunately, talked with many scams who openly said they are scams, and still get tens of thousands of dollars.

Sorry, I am not a Bitcoin maximalist but I believe no altcoin should be on top of it. It will always be the King of Cryptocurrencies.
I always prefer healthy competition and there are altcoins that have great projects with legitimate goals to change the future.

It's good though that your father opened up new ideas while you are still young. Like Bitcoin. Yes, it might be in mainstream, trends, or hypes but that is just because they know the name and the price but never went forward into looking deep at its purpose, history, and more.

Bitcoin still remain the number cryptocurrency that could change more lives if we embrace it more. Going for altcoins is good because all those altcoins projects depends on Bitcoin to move before they can take a bullish attempt and I am not too surprised because some investors do go for altcoins sale the new ones that do pose a big risk to use 8f eventually the project becomes a rug pull.

In respective of what coin I am buying in the crypto market, I still prefer holding Bitcoin to altcoins because it can't be rugged just like the chances of all those coin projects we have in the market. Proudly a Bitcoin believer and enthusiastic even though the current market condition is bear.

Fast opportunity to buy and hold!

Nowadays, I can't trust new altcoins since I knew how altcoins and new token works they are not worth to invest and not a good investment if you are planning for a long term investment. I would consider the top 5 altcoins I see as reliable than investing those new coins which most of them are just an imitation of Bitcoin. All you have said was true and there's denying that they have a higher risk and higher reward but most of the time the risk of losing is just too much that's why I can't recommend to put your money on these new tokens.

Do your own research if you want to insist that they are worthy of investment.

In this world all crypto currencies are centralized accept bitcoin. It is only a coin that has no regulator. Also Bitcoin is the best in terms of reliability. Chances of scams are high in other projects but Bitcoin doesn't have such scope. So trusting Bitcoin will never fail. If someone truly loves Bitcoin, he will be successful one in this world.

Its good to see that someone like you has appreciated the value of bitcoin so much, because you know exactly the struggle of bitcoin is. However, its not that easy to convince everyone particularly newbies to never trust altcoins at all as they can be source of great losses. Altcoins are cheaper than bitcoin, and they can be very promising too according to their own developers. But those who stayed long in the market know exactly that altcoins are only good at the start, and they quickly turned to scams in the end and steal our money.

There are lots of Altcoins and many are Scam but not all, there are some Altcoins with good initiatives. Your dad may have lose money in some bad project that must have been a bad impression for you. You many not specifically know a project that cheats money because at the beginning some may be real but along the line complications may happen to them like running out of funds.  Bitcoin can not be compared to any Altcoin but is not also a bad idea to invest in a good Altcoin project at same time invest in Bitcoin. For example, I have $150k  I can decide to buy $100k of Bitcoin and use the remaining $50k to buy few Altcoins.

Don't blame those altcoins but instead your dad's action. Bitcoin is the King and there's no doubt about that but if you play it right, there are lots of worthy altcoins there. You don't have to stick with only Bitcoin if your goal is to have a decent outcome in crypto.

Open your mind and explore things. Your crypto journey should not just be limited only to Bitcoin.

Nothing wrong though with that if you are really not comfortable with other altcoins or have a plan on extending your knowledge with those.

Everyone basically has their own thoughts on things like this.
Bitcoin is king now and it has been for several years now and will likely remain that way. As for altcoins, there are currently a lot of projects out there and even though most of them are useless things, we also can't rule out altcoins in this regard.
We know that different heads must have different thoughts and what your father thinks is definitely not the same as you, so indeed we just need to make a middle line about what to do regardless of whether you believe it or not it may come back to yourself.

You are absolutely right about this, he was a great kid who got to hear stories from his dad about Bitcoin when he was a kid and inherited what his dad told him back then. because I rarely hear stories of children today listening to what their fathers say to their sons, because most young children ignore their own father's stories when they grow up he takes his own path but doesn't really inherit what his father had. But unlike this kid, he can go ahead and use his father's account, so that he can be like his father to be a promoter in Bitcoin, I think that's really great for him.

They grow so fast with new innovations. I agree with you altcoins are a new invention with a very remarkable volume. They are interconnected with Bitcoin. It is evident that they always follow the price movements of Bitcoin.
But there is one uniqueness, Bitcoin has more confidence than the innovation of that new altcoin. We can see the proof that BTC's price can always reach a new high after experiencing a big decline. I have even experienced two phases of ATH. So at the moment why are you still hesitating about Bitcoin? if you doubt then don't come in, doubt you are your loss. The important thing is to use your free money.  Regarding altcoins, indeed we have to be vigilant, there are many altcoins that exist. You have to be selective if you want to buy one.

maybe a very big mistake if you choose a new altcoin because the new coin actually does not have definite clarity, especially not yet registered on the trading exchange, and does not yet have hype, in fact that is also the risk faced by every crypto investor who dares to lose if they want to make a profit.

However, a lot of investors still fall into altcoins and claim that they will be more profitable than bitcoin. And when they start losing, that’s the time that they will realize that bitcoin is definitely the perfect choice for investment. But there are also good altcoins that have sustained their value for long and when bitcoin reaches its new ATH, these established altcoins also benefited. That way, they become profitable too because of bitcoin.

There are a few decent alts out there but the rest are shit.  Also makes you wonder how many have been created with the purpose of relieving folks of their Bitcoin, which also shows scammers can be believers too.

Few altcoins are of real value and have its usage all around. Just look at Shiba, it existed as a memecoin ad and now it is more valued. The usage keeps counting as the community is strong and the team haven't let it down. They keep on making plans to support it in one way or the other.

Even the shit coins are turned progressive with real-time partnership and development. The number of bitcoin investors were defeated by Shiba at some point. Believing in bitcoin is a must, but beyond the limited altcoins with good potential there are more better projects in the market. We need to be lucky to enjoy the best out of it.

I'm with you- believing in Bitcoin is a must.  Without Bitcoin, there is no crypto, at least in the way we know and understand it currently or where we are currently could have been years away.

Luck is not the only thing needed when investing into altcoins. If you thoroughly research about a particular altcoin's project then you will likely earn profit from it in the long run. The reason why many people lose money in altcoins is because they invest to shitcoins or hyped projects that is usually just pump and dump. They want an easy money that they invest huge amount on those shitcoins even if the project has no planned roadmap or utility.

I think everyone in this crypto space are bitcoin believer but trusting some altcoin projects is not also bad if it will bring us profit in the future.

OP, nice inspiration in your story, but the alts have their sense of existence, in any case there is a phrase that belongs to a certain specific niche, but that applies in this case; is the phrase "never speak ill of the competition", even speaking ill of the competition is to give them importance.

Some Alts in the equivalence it is sometimes a false bill in the comparison of the legal currency Fiat, cash, you should know when an alts is a piece of shit that is useless, so detecting that false bill depends on you.

So, apply the same to the crypto environment and decide for your convictions, not because you follow a sect or what is fashionable, or because you just read it, so it is not about sending Alts to hell, it is about understanding why bitcoin is better.

Anyway It's up to individually to get up to their necks in the any cryptocurrency they, us want. By the way You have already done your part, you in bitcoin and shouting "hey, that's not the way (Alts)".  :)
