BTC and ETH taking the 50$ of the fund, layer 1&2 projects with mixed of metaverse and Dao project will make a fine and profitable portfolio, as for the names of the other projects you need to do your own research, but be rest assured that BTC and ETH will never disappoint.

It varies depending on your risk policy and whether this amount is worth a lot to you or is it just a side investment and don't be afraid to lose.
Mostly, investing in digital currencies is a high-risk investment and leads to real profits if you do not have a good background in investing, high-risk investments, or your investment is short-term or tied to a certain date.

As for the long-term investment, Bitcoin has historically proven to be an excellent long-term investment, and this applies to a few cryptocurrencies, but I do not advise you to stay away from investing.

A policy of 30% stablecoins, 40% Bitcoin, 19% Ethereum and the rest for a few investments seems like a good idea to me.

If I were you and had $30k in cash, I would allocate a large amount of money to invest in bitcoin, maybe half or more of that amount. I'll pick ethereum, bnb, ada, and a few other coins for the rest of the coins and hold them until the altcoin season returns.

By investing in bitcoin, say as much as $15k, I will have the opportunity to make a big profit because with $15k, I can earn around 0.4 btc or more. And when the bitcoin price starts to rally again, I will make a profit of over $15k.

Depends on your preferences, risk tolerance and selected timeframe I guess?

In my portfolio, I only have bitcoin, ethereum and monero simply because they are the only project that makes sense to me especially with their respective  use-cases. Plus, the parameters like their community, purpose, and the tech behind the project is what sets these coins to survive in the long haul, which is in retrospect fits long tern investing.

That's just me though. You needed to assess yourself first, because what works for might not work for you.

$30k fund is good enough.

How long will you plan to not touch it?

Do you have other financial resources that you can use for your life without touching $30k? If you have other resources, you can invest the $30k in long term. If it is a long term investment, I would pick Bitcoin and Ethereum. If you want to diversify more, BNB.

It should be 2 years or longer because investment in bear market will bring short term loss.

That is a huge amount of money to invest in crypto, so I would say that it's better to have like:

BTC =50%
ETH = 25%

The rest of the 25% you can spread it out on other altcoins, maybe in the top 5-10. No need for meme coins, the risk is too high for now. Maybe BNB could be a good investment as well. And I would also say that it's better to let that money sit for a while, be a long time holder or at least check them when we hit the next bull run and see how much money you profited by tha time.

I would pick BNB, FTT for rest 25%. If I pick one more, I choose KCS. They are tokens of Binance, FTX and Kucoin exchanges. I don't trust other top altcoin projects.

Polkadot, Solana, Near, I don't trust them. Cryptocurrency, blockchain and crypto market will be here so crypto exchanges will be here. It is safe and have less risk than other altcoins.

$30k in my opinion for now buy Altcoins, don't buy bitcoin,
because Bitcoin is still not really at the bottom, but many altcoins have fallen -98% from ath,
of course it is a good opportunity for long-term investment, some altcoin list what you should buy, CFX, AMP, CKB, RVN

That capital is already huge. You should DYOR on the best token/coin to invest rather than ask random guy opinion for your money. Just focus on huge caps token and avoid meme coin/hype project without any real use case. I suggest that you should pursue your research on blockchain project because that’s the best token to put your money in long term because they are the only project that has a potential to go long term no matter what will be the trend in crypto.

All trend in crypto always happened inside the blockchain. You will not be left out if there’s new trend arise because that will surely available on all blockchain.

The best thing to spread your money in so many legit tokens that still undervalued at this moments.
There are some categories that worthy to invest and here's it.

1. Blockchain protocol
2. Defi
3. NFT (P2E)

I think that focusing with blockchain protocol and defi was also very good choice as well. It's caused by blockchain protocol will always be used no matter what happened with the market and people will never leave it. You can spread your money in all of those categories. Im sure that would be very benefit for you as long as you can pick the right project

Everything depends on the risk that you are willing to take.
Great profits comes with great risks. So if you are capable of taking high risks and also want high profits, then you can go for altcoins. Else if you want slow yet steady profits, then BTC and ETH are the perfect choice.
If you want to gamble with your money in trading, then I would suggest you try your luck with Shiba Inu, I know this is not the best suggestion you have got so far, but yes if you take risks, then only you will get profit.
Don’t forget to have a look on BNB and Ripple. At last wishing you all the best for your trading journey.

To start with, putting all of it in bitcoin is totally fine and a great idea. But if you insist and want to have some altcoins with that fund for your portfolio.

Just as the suggestion of the others, I'll say that it is these two;

  • BTC
  • ETH

Those two are already enough to have.

30% stablecoins? Wouldn't that be too risky? I have the courage to interact with stablecoins only to quickly and quickly convert crypto to stablecoins and back to crypto. The latest events related to stablecoins are still fresh in my memory and, moreover, I don't trust any of the currently existing stablecoins. $30k portfolio I would distribute between btc and eth, rather in a ratio of 3 to 1, and 10-20% may be used to buy very risky assets. But this is not investment advice, but only my hypothetical reasoning.

Bitcoin definitely and you may add BNB. Because we know CZ, he always tries to pump his native coins anyway. And most of the tokens now deploying on Binance smart chain due to the low gas fee. So use cases have been increasing. ETH gas price is too high compared with BNB. However, it's your funds and you are the one who can decide. Just sharing our ideas.

big share of it invested in btc, eth and bnb, the rest remaining share of your investments invested in the 2nd layer like matic. I think with this will be enough for your investments since they already have quite huge enough potential.
considering the fact that most coins have already lost majority of its value in the current correction i think investing in high volatility investments instruments is unnecessary.

For a newbie like you, you should just focus on investing in top coins, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB are the best choices for you to buy
right now. And you should not try investing in new projects first, because the risk is too big, you can lose your entire capital. Because investing
in new projects requires good research and analysis skills, so you know when to buy and sell coins. But I suggest you don't use your entire $30k
capital at once, because crypto market movements are very volatile and difficult to predict. So the maximum profit will be generated if you buy
crypto gradually, meaning that every time the crypto price drops you can buy it. Then don't stop to learn about the crypto world, because it is
very important that you know how the crypto world works. So you understand what you are buying with the money you have, let alone your
capital is very large for a newbie, so you have to invest in the right coins.

Are you willing for long-term investment? Or only at least waiting for the next Bullrun?
Well, in my opinion, the biggest amount should be in BTC, it is at least 40% or more of the total funds.
Then, you can select some potential and top altcoins, by giving certain percentages:
such as choosing ETH, BNB, Matic, SOL, or others that are cosndiered having promising and potential long-term investment.
Never hurry up in investing, moreover in hype tokens because this is very risky

New to crypto or not?

If new = Bitcoin
If not = then I think you can decide on your set of coins instead

It's not wise to follow others' suggestions regarding the best crypto portfolio.

We all have different ways how to manage it.

if the the OP is relatively new, and he wants to invest right away. better go for BTC first. then, make some readings and to diversify his portfolio, which is the basic tip in investments, study first the top alts. don't go directly to hype up coins or tokens because you don't know yet how they operate. you will regret if you happen to invest in a pnd coin/token.

If you want a high return, go for some mid-small market cap, but keep in mind the risk is also high here.
If you want to have somehow low return but low risk, go with high market cap altcoins like top 1-10/20, it's up to you.

Or you can combine them, you pick some on high market cap, mid-market cap, and low market cap altcoins.

The strategy is done in percentage, not $ amount. You can invest 1000$ or 1,000,000$, and the rule will be still the same, depending the configuration you think it's the best one for you. You need to think carefully what you expect from cryptocurrency and if it's really achievable on the time period you are thinking about. Then elaborate the percentage you want to split between bitcoin, altcoins and how many altcoins you are going to choose for your portfolio. In order to minimize risks it's advised to use the largest percentage portion for bitcoin investment, while altcoins should be secondary.

Is this your idle money and you won't have to spend it in the near future?  Cryptocurrencies are risky investments and cannot yield as quick returns as many imagine. Therefore, you should invest with idle money, save, and not borrow in the hope of getting rich.

For a portfolio to be considered safe, it should have bitcoin for the most part, so i suggest you put 50% in bitcoin, 25% in ethereum, and the rest, you can use some altcoins that you like, but always DYOR before investing.

Thats a high value budget. I think you need to disperse it to a lot of allocation like put some on btc and different altcoins preferably major coins and tokens.

For me if Im gonna budget that I'll allocate $10k to btc then the remaining $15k to major alts and $5k to new spring projects like early bird tokens to new ones. Its up to you how to allocate but this is my just suggestion distribution.

Your capital is huge enough to start your investing journey. What do you prefer old or new coins? I suggest for you to DYOR to gain idea about crypto because its best to have our own knowledge on what we're getting into. Bitcoin and ETH are some of the worthy coins to invest in, because they're already established and trusted by many investors. But dont rely alone in suggestions of users here, as I have said its best to have your own knowledge about it.

As you have already been told here, do your own analysis and pay attention to projects that have their own blockchain and are useful for the industry. If you are ready to forget about this investment for a few years, then you really should take a closer look at the main and first coins from the list.

Your seeking opinion and you definitely going to get a lot base on what others thinks best, I have hard my crypto portfolio since 2020 and what I have always Put in was Bitcoin and Ethereum, but recently I added BNB and USDT.
I plan to hold my Bitcoin and Ethereum for long but USDT I will sell if it finally gets to $1 for #1,000.
I think BTC, ETH, and BNB is really good for a well stuff crypto portfolio. Adding some USDT along is also a good idea.

Honestly this is a big enough money that I do not think many people would consider just one thing, or even 2-3, most people will go a bit deeper. I would for example go with a good chunk of it to Bitcoin, then ethereum and bnb of course, then avax, polygon, ada, and even SOL a bit which I do not really love much but it could maybe do fine, so it's just 2-5% range.

That's why I really believe that as long as you are diversified, if one of them sucks then the others would continue to go up during bull run and make your loss smaller. That would be a great way to make a profit because strong projects that are already at the top would have a small chance to upset you.

Starting with 30k USD is a large amount of money, so you should carefully consider your investment. I just want to tell you that there is no coin more secure than bitcoin and a newbie like you should just focus on bitcoin and don't rush others. We have a lot of time in the marketplace, so don't rush into unnecessary regrets. You should invest 50% in bitcoin at the moment, and the remaining 50% in USDT. If the price of Bitcoin continues to decline, then you should buy additional bitcoin. You both accumulate cheap BTC and have the opportunity to generate profits for yourself quickly.

Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB will always be the best choices especially if you're into a long-term investment. As a beginner, you should focus on potential top coins because among all cryptocurrencies, they have the strongest potential and they have also been through different market situations so they're strong enough to deal with them. If you'll check the history of these coins, you would know that they have reached lots of achievements already.

For 30k capital it is very good to invest in some coins that have high potential such as ethereum, BNB and bitcoin of course and for other coins do not be too ambitious because it is difficult for us to convince that it can increase quickly when the market returns to normal, because choosing some coins must have great confidence to be able to enjoy results quickly if the bear market ends, then you have to choose the three coins.

I agree with everyone's comments, you should concentrate on the top 3 cryptocurrencies currently, bitcoin, ethereum, and bnb. As well as being safe, they may also be profitable for you. While crypto investments will have a high potential for return, the risks are also very high because of their volatility, and investing in them will usually be profitable if you hold them for a long time, in the short term it is very difficult to make a profit. Therefore, you should research carefully before investing.

Title: Re: What is the best portfolio for a $30k fund?

we better try at the beginning by investing in bitcoin and ethereum only. The people's trust in the two coins is huge, their future potential is also great, it's just that the price is too high for now. but at $30k that's pretty big. you can divide it 50% for long term 50% for short and medium term trading.
actually the value of btc and eth is already heavily discounted so it’s definitely the better investment choice that the rest. even if by holding btc and eth only it could already gives tremendous ROI for long term considering the fact that it was already losing more than its 60% of value since ATH meaning if it ever reaches ATH again that’s easy gain for your investments in the long term.

$30k is not a small amount, you can get more than 1BTC.
Investing in BTC will never make you lost moroever if you are investing for long term investment. If I were you, I will buy 1BTC. And let the least to buy altcoins. 50% of the least for Ethereum, and others for BNB and SOL. I love those altcoins because I think that they are very potential compared to any other cryptocurrencies. But, this is only an opinion, it is better for you to think more and cosnider what best and most suitable for you, related to your investment target.

This 3 coins that I just mentioned above, they are good coin’s which you can invest your money on, I know they won’t disappoint you, but you should not be expecting profit instantly you buy it, you should be ready to hold them for high profit.

There is no doubt that BTC and ETH are the best two options that are available at the moment. Bitcoin price is currently trading at $21.6k so if I were OP I would buy myself one bitcoin and the other 8k I would invest in ETH because in my view the merge will help ETH up and I will have some small profit from it. And with bitcoin, this will be my long term investment, I can hold it till next bull cycle if bitcoin hits the $100k target, I will take profit.

btc and eth will always be our first choice for crypto investment. all of these as major cryptocurrency in market with high liquidity and also most trusted investors, but for some reason we also must invest in small portion in new projects or low cap project that potentially will give us multiple profits in future when developers team build good product.

There is a reason why money managers make money and it is because the needs of each person are very specific, how long do you plan to remain invested in the market? What are your goals? Will you add more money in the future? And that is only a few of the questions that you will need to answer in order to determine the best way to allocate that money, personally since the capital is big enough I think you do not need to take too many risks and could invest in bitcoin and ethereum, wait for the next bull run and then wait for the massive profits you will get during the bull market.

if i personally would choose etherum for $30k fund and you can get more than 17 etherum for your long term investment. when it comes to risk, then all cryptocurrencies have their own risks.

As an investment, there are risks and cryptocurrencies are riskier including bitcoin, because of their volatility. Investing in top coins will allow us to limit risks, whereas investing in new projects, shitcoins, increases the risk of loss due to their resilience being very low.
If you invest in top coins, in the short term we may feel worried about the drop but if we hold for the long term our investment will recover and will be big profitable once the bullish comes.

Hey guys, just wanna ask, what do you think is the best crypto portfolio for a $30k fund?

Cheers!

How many coins do you want to hold here in the crypto space? So what kind of crypto holder are you? long-term or short-term holder? Because that kind of amount here in our money is already too big and can buy our own house and second-hand car and a brand new motor.
If as a trader who is an individual here in cryptocurrency and you are thinking about the future maybe it is good to divide it into 5 potential coins, one of which is always Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, Binance(Bnb), and Babydoge.

And if short term trading is what you want, the ones I mentioned can also be used, maybe just add Dogecoin, Mbet, Shiba Inu and Bfg.
But all these are just my own choices and opinion only.

BTC and ETH , and that's it
$30k is not a small amount, you can get more than 1BTC.

And basing from the previous success, those mentioned assets can bring a decent amount of profits, fair enough for long-term holding

if you are not into a quick to rich type of investment, you can buy and hold those coins till it reached the target profits that you will setup,

for the meantime, after buying better, to stay away from the market. In case you are really into passive side, monitoring the market might

shake you, a lot of fluctuation without concrete plans you might lose instead of earning from your invested amount, $30K is not a small

amount better to make sure that you are mentally and financially aware of how the business works.

25% BTC
25% Ethereum
20% Bnb,Matic,ADa and Dot
20% Sand,Mana,Bat,LDO and OP
10% Doge,Shib, and low cap coins

I will buy 5000$ worth of ETH and 5000$ worth of BTC, the rest goes to altcoins with mid marketcap like Layer 1 and  2 builds, Optimism, Lido Dao, Saito, and many more, the potential of getting 100x is high compare to BNB and Matic investment.

The first is Bitcoin with bigger percentage than altcoin
The second is Altcoins with a small percentage, Terra events are very likely to happen again to other altcoins and imagine if you put a large percentage on altcoins you might be depressed. But do you really have that much money? Because for me it's a big enough fund

ETH, BNB, and BTC should definitely be on the list as it will really give you profit in the long run. It just depends on you how much you are going to allocate on those crypto as each of them has different possible returns in the future. For other altcoins, SOL and MATIC is a good choice for me as those tokens have their own blockchains that uses low-fees and quite popular in the world of NFTs and web3 stuffs.

Yes currently BTC at priced at the best rate.
So if OP make his mind to buy BTC in a whole, then definitely he will make ample of profits in a short period of time after the bear market gets over.
Moreover ETH is not a bad deal, if you thinking of holding something else other than BTC. Eth’s marketcap is also big, so definitely the price of ETH will also increase.
So at last it’s OP’s decision to what to do with his funds. We can just wish him good luck with his asset.

$30000 of course that amount of funds is very good for buying low satoshi,
it is a little risky but the profit ratio is much higher than buying big caps coins like Ethereum, Matic or Cardano,
and my advice is CFX, well! Conflux is very fundamental, there's no doubt, try to check on their github,
yes one of the projects with the most updates on github!, so good luck

A few months ago, I'd recommend your 3k fund to ETH @800-1000 dollars. Enough for 32 ETH to set up a PoS node and hold ETH for the long term. Now, 32 ETH cost more than that @1600 dollars. BNB could be a good alternative since they are backed by Binance. You can put half of your fund in it for staking reward and hold BNB for 1 year. Another half, just keep it ready for any good chance of coins going to dip in the market. Look for anything that has the smart contract layer.

30k is a big amount. And based on that I think it is not to invest on any one coin. According to me invest in 4 areas :
Invest 40% BTC, 20% Ethereum, 10% BNB, and 30% other altcoins. If you do it this way, you can expect that you will never lose, but profit 100% in sha Allah.

Ethereum best alternatives option for short term trading or as long term investment, I think if he used all his fund $30,000 for investing with ethereum last months when price still drop on $1,000 he got almost 100% profitable, last several weeks ethereum price success break out above $2,000 before today drop back under $1,700. I think still not late for investing and trading with ethereum altcoin and $30,000 is bigger fund for trading or investing capital. Another option investing with $30,000 on BNB coin, I think most profitable when have new launchpad actually will make BNB raise to higher price again.

Clearly not conservative. Too little money to buy projects that have been on the market for a long time and that have already grown by thousands of percent, so you should not expect strong profits from such projects with such a budget. With such an amount, it is better to balance your portfolio in such a way that you have some projects that came out relatively recently, and some projects from long-established coins that have lost a lot in value. They will rise again in the near future.

It's worth understanding what you want out of your portfolio. If you want to keep its value in time, then buy bitcoin, ETH and some more similar projects and hold it for several years. But if you want to make good profit with this portfolio, then you should look at young projects and diversify them with projects which have been on the market for a long time.

best kritpo only on bitcoin and ethereum in my view. if you choose to invest in other coins it has a big risk, for a fund of $30k it is big enough to buy a cheap coin. but the risk in trading is always there, we just need to be ready with all the risks and analytical knowledge that must be prepared in order to manage it properly.
those two coins are definitely good. for people who want to invest with big expectations they are ready to accept the risks that occur. Of course, many people expect big profits like myself but it's not easy to go through, everything must be researched before investing. if i have money 30,000$ for sure i will buy bitcoin, eth, bnb, avax, solana coins with top rank for sure in future

If you aim for maximum profits, then always put the highest allocation for bitcoin. Let’s say $15k or $20k will give high returns already as bitcoin is proven the most profitable source of profits in the market. And diversify your portfolio with ethereum, ADA, and some of the stablecoins you know because they can also be profitable at times when bitcoin is not in its highest performance.

I don't think CZ is pumping the coin. That can sound awkward. When you say that, it was like you're saying that bnb is a pump and dump kind of coin. Bnb has a great utility and I think it also has a burning mechanism, which greatly lessens the supply of bnb over time, making the coin's value increase. Those are the ones that gives price to bnb.

Eth on the other hand is also a good coin aside from bnb and it will become better with its upcoming eth 2.0/merge. If ever the fees normalize in eth, I think there will still be a demand for bnb so I will still allocate more for it but let us not forget bitcoin of course. Maybe OP can put 50% in btc while 30% in bnb and then 20% in eth.

30k capital is not a small amount, I would recommend investing in bitcoin rather than altcoins today. The bear market is not over yet and bitcoin may continue to fall even further, once bitcoin drops in price, altcoins will plummet to a level we cannot even imagine.

You should split your capital like you buy 50% for 20k$ and if it continues to drop below 17k you will buy another 25%, the rest if bitcoin is still falling then keep buying. If bitcoin reverses to the upside, you should take partial profits and wait to buy it back at a better price. I believe the bear market will continue.

Hey guys, just wanna ask, what do you think is the best crypto portfolio for a $30k fund?

You need to consider three factors for that.

1. Investment
2. Risk
3. Time

In this case, I divided my investment to below categories. I am starting  from investment.

Category A = 0 -100 $
Category B=  101 -1000 $
Category C=  1001-5000$
Category D = 5000$ +

So you owned to category D now.(because of 30000$)

Then you have to consider how much risk(R) you need to take.

No risk = 0-15% = if you select this category you can do some saving and staking. Also only major coins only(Like BTC and ETH)
Low Risk = 15-35% = If you select this category, then you can select top tier coins (Eg : Link , DOT , BNB)
Medium risk = 35-75% = You can select top 5 alt coins
High risk = 75 -100% = You can select basket of alt coins and investing new projects.

After selecting the investment and risk, then you have to consider your time(T) per week as well

Time A = 20 hours
Time B = 40 hours
Time C = 80 hours

After considering all above factors, you can create a plan and a portfolio as well.

$30k is quite a large amount of money. Considering the current situation, I see no better option than buying Bitcoin. A person who has the money to invest this amount must keep an eye on the market to get an idea of which would be a better option. With the volatile market conditions right now, showing interest in other altcoins can be a bad decision. So I would say be patient and understand what the next trend of the market may be and invest later.

Bitcoin must become a secondary choice. Big cap makes it less attractive to be used as investment unlike another coins in the market. BNB seems to be the best choice in this case. Going to all to the top coins will not give you bunch of profict.
I thinkthat amounts that will be invested in the big cap coins must be equal with amounts that invested in the small coins. This will make his perfolio can sustain and give more benefits rather than only focusing all in the big cap coins that can increase in long term or yearly basis.

I think it is the other way around, when you are building a portfolio the first assets that you add should always be the most solid ones you can buy, and since there is not a coin that is more solid than bitcoin then there is no doubt in my mind that a great deal of your money should go to bitcoin, on the next step you can invest in good altcoins, like ethereum or the binance coin, and then you can finally invest in high risk altcoins if you want to try to increase a little bit the performance of your portfolio.

So, do you think that the investment in small coins can generate big profits for you, but they can also cause you to lose your money if you are not careful enough with your investments? On the other hand, if you invest in Bitcoin and large cap coins, this won't happen to you.

Everything has its price, if you want to be safe, you should accept low-interest investments, if you want big profits, you must know how to accept risks. Nothing is 100% perfect

Well my Portfolio if you ask my with 30k$ fund that's a lot of fund personally
For short term You can also invest in some of the Hyped Meme Coin that can give you a good % of returns
But for long term
I will pick 10%Matic,  5%Shiba,  20%Avax  ,10%kcs, 5% FilCoin and remaining % i will try to Pick all the Centralised Exchange coin

Long term project definitely may take time in Starting you may get loss but it is better to patience and hold don't Invest you whole money Try to do Sip each month to get best possible results and best place to hold is to hold on Decenterlized private wallet

At this current time, it is not advisable to invest your money into altcoins. It is clear we are in winter which means some of them will be dead and some of them will be under the blanket(sinking). So if you have 30k$, do it wisely buy doing DCA(Dollar Cost Averaging).
Make a batch of buy at your support point and ONLY invest in Bitcoin because it is the only one that will survive and stay strong despite the winter.
But it is not going to be hurt if you want to try your luck in others, but it can not be more than 10% of your total capital.

A fund of $30k is a huge amount to us, it may not mean anything to some. So we need to use the money on coins that have potential. Maybe you can buy Bitcoin for $10k, Ethereum for $10k, buy BNB for $5k, and you can buy variously low-priced coins for as much as $5k.
If you buy Bitcoins currently for $10k, of course you have already earned half of the Bitcoins or 0.5 BTC. If the next bull run occurs, then the first to be pumped is Bitcoin, so the profit from Bitcoin you can buy other coins that have the potential to be pumped.
Then Ethereum and BNB as kings and queens of smart contract blockchains. Automatically these two coins have the potential to get a high price.

I would go for BTC, BNB.  BTC market had been proven for years now.  It is better to get in now while the market is still in bear trend then hodl.  Long term investment during bear market is proven to be profitable in Bitcoin market.

BNB because BNB has potential to grow to more than $1k.  If you want to know why then just search the internet and you can see that BNB had lots of projects under its network.

Regarding the BNB, the answer is not very convincing, it can be said about many projects - search on the Internet, but unfortunately this one does not work like that. The BNB is holding up very well relative to the entire market, but I don't believe it will be able to sustain this level throughout the entire bear market, it will definitely fall in price further. For bitcoin, I agree with you, this is a reliable investment that has been tested by time.

Yes, 30 thousand dollars is a large amount, Through this amount, the OP can convert it to more than 100 thousand dollars if he invests in promising altcoins with great use cases, but it is wrong for the entire capital to be invested in one altcoin, from 2-5 altcoins are enough for this amount, Diversifying the investment from altcoins is necessary for any investor who does not want to lose at a high percentage, and among the altcoins that I recommend is bitcoin, Ethereum, Matic, Binance coin and Ethereum cash. We are now in a bear market and this is a good opportunity for those who want to buy, but they must choose the right time to enter, any of us can use sites and channels for recommendations, but we should not rely on them completely only if our experience is not enough for technical analysis.

@OP, You must be thinking about why everyone recommending you bitcoin. This is because bitcoin is the safest coin in crypto, and it also gives good profit to its long-term holder.

Investing in altcoins is risky and no one knows which project will end up like tera Luna.
This is the reason why most people want to earn profit while staying safe. Not to lose his hard-earned money in greed of 5x 10x profits.

Edit: corrected some typo errors

Hey guys, just wanna ask, what do you think is the best crypto portfolio for a $30k fund?

Cheers!

In my opinion,
producing a good portfolio is more profitable for us, bro, if in the long term I prefer to invest in cryptocurrencies in Bitcoin and Ethereum the risk is high, but if you are patient in investing crypto money there, I am sure you will never be disappointed. It all depends on your own personal policy in seeing opportunities to invest your funds

It is better to invest in the more fundamentally strong project which can sustain itself in the Bearish market and remember only a strong Fundamental project can survive for long other are just hype

Every bear market is strong that even the strongest project with good fundamentals are still being dragged down but they are better than those projects who don't have a strong fundamentals or don't have any fundamentals at all because their value can drop hard and some of them have completely died already during this bear. That's how lethal a bear market is.

30k might be big already for us because we are not rich but for the people that are rich like the op, this was only a normal amount for them so don't worry. They didn't break the golden rule of investing which is to invest only what you can afford to lose. Coins with good fundamentals can already work well in both short or long term so no need for you to take big risk on those hype/meme coins.

I can say you are very lucky if you have a capital of $ 30k during a bear market,
because indeed the prices of altcoins and bitcoins are at very cheap prices!,
of course this is the right time to buy without any big risk,
yes if I were you then I will buy an altcoin with great potential like Verasity!
Of course, with large enough funds you can do anything at a time like this, where the market situation is correcting. there are many alternatives that can be done, whether you really want to stick with the best coins like BTC, ETH, BNB or with altcoins that are still new and seem to be starting to move well when the market is bearish, it can also be on other alternative coins that are widely available.

I agree with the colleague above, that indeed the current situation is the right time to buy without a big risk, maybe the proposed Verasity can be used as an alternative even though it's not very good in my opinion.
if you don't want to get tired of doing research, it's definitely not wrong to take an analysis from CMC "Trending Coins and Tokens 🔥 " is also good enough to be an option, because the market situation is quite reliable.

I will buy bitcoin and sleep on it ;D, I don't need any other coins because I am sure that I will make good gains with zero worries of constant development, monitoring from time to time like when investing on altcoins, Bitcoin just make things easier.

Everyone's dream to see it happen, you want a perfect life in the world without the slightest lack of money. Is that what you mean?

$30K is a pretty big amount for us to invest in cryptocurrencies. and you must already know about the future risks that you will get if you choose the wrong altcoin. so my advice is to buy altcoins that have good growth and circulation as well as large volumes. like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Binance, maybe you can invest $10K in each coin.

It can be big for many people, but on the contrary, it is an investment, so calculate the risks and returns that it will bring. Personally, I think the market phase is very difficult to judge, but that does not mean that the opportunity will be less. If you study the projects carefully, I believe that profits will be made. And here, with big or small coins, there will be different views on them. For me, the initial capital allocation is for a long-term investment strategy, so not everyone has a long-term investment strategy. in the short-term to find happiness. Basically, BTC, ETH, and BNB are all safe investments compared to the others, but I have another recommendation for this period to wait for more signals from the market and not necessarily. I must buy them immediately. Some of the trends that I've been working on recently will probably bring more positivity to the market next time, but not too strongly. Maybe Q4 2022 will have a different change, so let's just keep watching.
