acctually solana was a good investment in 1st  Q in 2021.  now solana  has come down  and hype is over and also solana has shawn many of weaknesses as many did not expect. solana was cheap , fast  and scalable blockchain in 2021 bull run and performed very well. but my personal idea is solana is getting away from the attention of investors and big tech companies. there are many better solutions are popping out there in this bear market. so my recomendation is not stick in old coins and tokens.  just try to move farward with new technologies and new coins. good luck.

Holding solana now can be fraught with certain risks due to the recent solana crash, however at current prices it is appropriate to buy and hold, but don't buy all sol, only buy with money you can lose.
It is acceptable for a blockchain to have problems in the early days of development, as long as they try to fix it and constantly develop and improve, there is nothing to worry about. As far as I follow, the sol developers are still actively working, they still haven't given up on the project despite the recent problems.

I really don't see anything which will trigger the pump of Sol in the main time it might only gain small gain from the current green market. But their is nothing too serious about sol which is worth my investment and hope.

Solana is a centralized chain, I don't expect people to trust it easily and I really don't expect it to reach its ATH anytime soon it was able to hit around $250 back in October 2021 thanks to the hype about the upgrades that were going but still I wouldn't buy more than 10% of my portfolio if I were to buy ever again.

Well, actually Solana is one of the most successful coins created before this bearish era. Many companies use this network for any transaction. This is considered to compete with Ethereum much, moreover this offers a lower fee for transactions. Now we can see several exchanges also provide Solana network for transferring.
If the utility is continuous and used many more, yes, I tink that this is worthy enough. But, ensure that you don't only invest in SOL, it is better to divide your money into sveeral top coins. 

Some analysts say Solana will pump like crazy soon, some analysts say it will stay relatively stable in the near and mid term future and other analysts finally say that Solana will go down in terms of the price. To be honest i really would not give those analysts to much credit. Especially if they are just crypto influencers because 99% of them are not neutral, they just want to shill their own bag. In most cases they get access to investments into the seed or private round of a new project, which means they get the tokens way cheaper than normal people once the token becomes tradeable and for that they need to shill this project obviously.

but as far as I'm using Solana is powerful enough there is dozen of nft and gamefi project that host on solana chain.

The analysts are just analysts, but it doesn't mean that their predictions are always correct especially when it comes to Solana. I'm not a fan of predicting prices to be honest.

As for your question whether if Solana is a good investment or not, I cannot answer that for you. Coz' no matter if it's use cases are impressive, it's still subject to market volatility and the price movement is unpredictable whether it goes up or down without warning. 

I think it's not a good investment. Because their trust is broken. But if you want to invest still, invest in something that you can afford when you lost.

About Solana, yes it used to be a good investment and its peak ATH is $260 in 2021. But is it still good now?, is it possible to return to the old ATh price? no one knows. Investing is risky, so you should do your own research and make your own decision.

Since you are only thinking about what it may happen to Solana during the rest of this year then I'll probably say that this is not really a good moment to invest in it, now if you were interested in investing in this coin for the long term and you were interested in making it a part of a balanced portfolio then it will make sense to invest a little bit of your capital in Solana at this moment, but even then there will be a high risk associated with doing something like this as the opinion of the community regarding Solana can differ greatly from traders a trader.

So many times people have been asking this questions. I guess if you wanna spend a few minutes in your life to dig some old thread and you may find another thread that has similar thing with it, solana was a major coin that has been decreasing a lot to the bottom due to the bearish trend.
The bullish trend may make solana to go up again. Im sure that people aware about that. Solana ecosystem being used by so many people for their daily transactions. Im not feeling doubt if that will make solana to go up drastically once bullish trend will come.

There's a lot of speculation here about whether Solana's price will go up, I think, but it's just a certain moment like a few months ago, when Solana was pumping, and not so many people realized it, so basically waiting for that moment to come back.

I'm not sure if the solana will rebound in 2022 because the market is still in the bull market so it doesn't look like the price will increase yet. All coins will see the movement of bitcoin first because as the center of cryptocurrency, all coins will move wherever bitcoin moves. So if bitcoin hasn't been able to hit prices higher than it is now, it looks like altcoins haven't been able to either, except maybe some altcoins will get a pump that will happen for a while to attract more investors.

Who knows if it even can break its previous ATH. But a network with filled of a lots of error and bugs. Maybe choosing another could be a good options. Im not saying its a bad project but been into top 10 means there some potential to it. Maybe if they can really fix their platform and not just a band aid solution they could touch new ATH.

I will never ever use Solana again for payments, one of the main reasons is network congestions. that's insanely annoying last time i made a Solana payment it took me like 15 minutes resending the same payment again from my exodus wallet  >:( (Centralized network with low scalability)

If Solana will ever reach its all-time high again, yes for me, it is a good investment. In the last year 2021, Solana is one of the many top movers during the bull market, from 1 digit to 3 digits in just a short period of time.
For me, Solana is still a good alternative on the Ethereum network right now because of the high transaction fees on the Ethereum network, if Ethereum will still not solve that problem, people for sure will still stay on Solana or will get its new users.

yes i don't doubt it's about cheap and fast transaction , i also use it but there are a lot of rumors and bad cases about solana so i'm rethinking to invest there, but i'm still actively buying and selling NFT on solana network and don't keep a lot of solana in my wallet always moving it to the exchange for the safety of my money from the sale of NFT

If looking for an ethereum alternative, I think BNB is also a good alternative, even better than solana, the solana network has too many bugs and they can't seem to fix the problem.

There are many reasons. First of all, I find that this is the only blockchain who is actually successful in competing with the Ethereum blockchain. There are several blockchain releases who want to replace the ethereum blockchain, but the only blockchauin who is successful is the Solana blockchain. Not only that, this is super fast and has the cheapest gas fees. Though we already face some unfortunate hacks and vulanarabilities, I believe all the problems will be solved, and Solana can work according to their plan. People loved Solana. for altcoins, tokens, and particularly fornft We already have several million-dollar nft projects. So actually, the thing is, this project has so much potential. And right now it is in the dump, so if we invest today, obviously in a bull market, it can give us a huge profit. And yeah, those are my overall feelings, thank you.

I will not say for sure whether the price of Solana will experience a significant price increase in 2022 because it is very dependent on market movements if entering next year the market has recovered then it should make the price of SOL soar, I believe Sol is a good coin for us to invest because it looks like Solana's project will continue to grow bigger in the future.

I simply don't believe it. Not any instances that this project will soar high if the situation is still in a bear market as that only happens if Bitcoin does first or there is price manipulation. So, whoever that person pretending as an expert or crypto analyst, honestly, he makes such wrong speculations and no basis. I believe, if there is a pump will happen but that was not like we see during the bull season.

Inflation happens when there is a printed extra currency, and even though we do have that because we mine or stake new coins to existence (just like how btc miners do) that is nowhere near the levels of fiat and the daily buy and sell trading ends up swallowing that as a whole so it makes no changes at all for us.

The real problem is not inflation, the real problem is the volatility and that means people could sell a billion dollars worth of Solana tomorrow and there is nothing we can do about it, worst yet they could notify everyone that they will sell it, and everyone will get out before, and they would buy even more when the price is low instead of selling and make more profit. Solana is good for investing but not really for long term investment, because their is some altcoins when you look at them you will notice that they are good for investment, and you can only notice that through the project projection within the space it's launched. So if should invest in Solana i will directly check the propagation or the possibility of it's Long stay on the market.

I think solana is only good as a store of value or to store assets owned, not for investing in solana. They have to change that mindset because other people don't necessarily have a good calculation or analysis for you so you have to do your own research and analysis to find the right one for you.

People can go all in to the major coin but the profit will be so small compared with medium cap or low cap coin. The only problem is you can see how it was always following bitcoin. Solana peg with bitcoin. Bitcoin dump and then solana dump. Bitcoin up and solana up. Investing in solana was only for long term investors. Scalpers will never try to invest in a big cap coin caused by these kind of coins are not worthy with their time.
People prefer to play future rather than doing regular trade for their short or long term investment. Solana is always worthy to be considered as safe investment eventhough it's not fully safest investment caused by it's also very volatile.

I also don't spend too much money if I want to invest in luna because of the bad story. I still choose to invest in btc, eth, and bnb because the profit potential can be greater than luna. I would most definitely wait for Serenity a.k.a. Ethereum 2.0 to pop up before making any decisions on the rivals of Ethereum. Things gonna change big time with Serenity.

Solana crashes every 3 months.

There are a lot of such opinions of analysts. Some predict a fall and such that it will be very bad if it happens. Others are talking about a price increase especially in 2025. If you listen to everyone, then it’s confusion and it’s better then not to invest at all. Conclusions are up to you. Blockchain is good and many projects are tied to it. So my humble opinion is that everything will be fine and the price will go up. If not this year, then next year it should happen.

It's always like this whenever a popular project is dumped, we want to buy it cheap and expect it to rise again. The only problem is, that it's not Bitcoin.
When it comes to altcoins the risk included is higher even at waiting for a year or two.
It's still crypto winter so yes there's a chance but don't expect too much and also in a faster method. The fruits might bear at longer periods.

Solana is a strong coin. But in my opinion investing in solana is little risky. I heard some major negative news about solana. And there some issues happened with their company's too.

Yes, it's true that if the SOL project developer can overcome and find a solution in a short time regarding blockchain blackouts when experiencing congestion, maybe this will have a positive impact on the SOL coin so that the coin will be increasingly in demand by investors, because so far if we pay attention after several blackouts that have been done then currently the price of the Solana coin has rarely experienced price pumping which indicates that many investors are not very interested in the SOL project anymore because the developers are unable to cope with the blackout.

Power outages happen most of this year and if true, we started bear season late last year so it's not hard to understand why sol hasn't had any recent pumping. Sol as well as the top coins have lost 80%-90% of their value against ATH, but now Sol is attracting many NFT developers showing that it still has a lot of potential to exploit. Sol is backed by top VCs so I think it's still a potential future project.

I have no argument when talking about the potentiality of this project but if we talk about it will soar this year, I tend to disagree with this. We are totally in the bear season, no coins will ever pump and make a rally without a good reason, and hype was not considered good but kinda be a trap. And I don't think also that hype will happen.

For I know and believe that Solana will become valuable in the future but this project still relies on the market trend. It only pumps when Bitcoin moves high just like the other altcoins.

nah Solana is dead long term. Over the course of this year, seeing as how the network constantly breaks like every couple of weeks, Solana has shown that something is simply broken in how they made it. If it was just that first time it broke last November and then they fixed it that would be one thing. But it just kept happening again and again and again month after month after month. Solana simply doesn't work. It got hyped up last summer on some NFT stuff but that was it. Then since late last year it became the least reliable network. A crypto platform ain't worth much if you can't even keep it up and running.

If I had the opportunity to invest today, Solana would be one of the first projects I would invest in because I have such faith in the project. Solana is a very good project with a very strong and decent team that is eager to make the project one of the top projects following Bitcoin, Etherium, and BNB. This current market condition has impacted Solana as well as other coins, but I am confident that it will return to or exceed its all-time high value.

Better to rely with success and good development compared to a hype that cause by pump and dump, the next thing to see if that happens is to have a total fall that may create fears to most holders, we can all speculate and project how the asset will progress along the way, it's just a matter of good decision making when picking or selecting a project to invest your money.

SOL dumped real hard because of the bear market and constant network outages. Unless developers come with something new and fresh, I don't think SOL's going anywhere soon. Whales could pump the price, though. But without mainstream demand for SOL, the gains will only be short-lived. Personally, I don't think Solana is a good investment in 2022. There are far better options that are much more reliable with decentralization in mind. Instead of picking Solana, I'd advise anyone to invest into both Cardano and Polygon (MATIC) for the long term. These are rock-solid projects with a proven track record of development and innovation. They never had an outage (as far as I know), so they're as reliable as you can think of. No one can predict crypto market prices, so it's up to you to play it safe by diversifying your investment into prominent cryptocurrency projects that are built to last. Just my thoughts ;D

Solana is not in a very cheap rate. If you see the previous chart is was more higher price. So I think it could be a great option to invest on Solana in this bear market. It will surely pump very soon according to TA.

I don't believe in so many predictions concerning cryptocurrency, because I know that the genesis of cryptocurrency rising up and going down it's determine by the bitcoin, if the price of any altcoins should skyrocket it's for the detriment of the people who invest on it. I believe that it's the people who is projecting the project are respond of it's acceleration. Solana is a good project, and it's can be possible for it to easily have a good support.

Predictions can be wrong, always. But what makes this prediction is to help people understand what might probably happen to the project/s. Many experts just pop up and give their opinions on a certain project. Well, it was in our discretion to believe that was close to reality or just making hype as in many cases it was used to manipulate the minds of the investors. Whether it was right or wrong but I see Solana will move high in the future due to its market potential, not because of someone who does the manipulation.

Solana is certainly a good investment. But the fact that everything in this altcoin market is very dependent on the price of bitcoin, then it’s for certain that solana will only become profitable too once bitcoin creates another positive price increase. Wrong prediction do lure people who is not ready to invest a coin to invest. And again it's not good give someone a false information over something you are not sure of. So some people who predict the future of cryptocurrency even though they are an expert in trading and their prediction still backfires, sometimes they hype a bad project to influence people purchase with their fake prediction in order to make to purchase that particular project. All this are things that made to work on my chart. And if everyone is making effort to examine the chart of cryptocurrency nobody will be fooled with fake prediction.
