Title: [ANN] Radiant [RXD] - Layer1 blockchain 🔵 SHA512-256 - PoW - GPU/ASIC mining
Post by: Do_zzze on September 22, 2022, 02:53:31 PM

Dear programmer friends, in the spirit of research (on induction), this thread has been opened to help Mr. Attila Aros (https://www.crunchbase.com/person/attila-aros) communicate about his RADIANT RXD technical project.

This is not an investment advice.

Radiant: A Peer-to-Peer Digital Asset System

Abstract. The Radiant network is a peer-to-peer digital asset system that enables direct exchange of value without going through a central party. A zero compromise blockchain with the inherent parallelism and performance characteristics of an unspent transaction output (UTXO) based architecture and the Turing Complete programming of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) architectures. This is a breakthrough smart contracting and digital asset system based on SHA512 proof-of-work, designed for extreme throughput and scale.

White Paper: https://radiantblockchain.org/radiant.pdf (https://radiantblockchain.org/radiant.pdf)

What is Radiant?

Radiant is a revolutionary network designed to solve the problems with all existing blockchains in terms of scale, parallelism and Turing Complete programming. Radiant is a peer-to-peer digital asset system that enables direct exchange of value without going through a central party. Similarly to Bitcoin, the Radiant network requires minimal structure, and timestamps transactions into an ongoing hash-based chain of proof-of-work (SHA512/256). We introduce two novel breakthrough techniques to validate digital assets: unique references and a general purpose induction proof system both of which operate in constant O(1) time and space. It is possible to compose outputs in any manner, without compromising the inherent parallelism and performance characteristics of an unspent transaction output (UTXO) based architecture. Therefore, users can leave and rejoin the Radiant network at will and be assured of the integrity and authenticity of their digital assets.

Zero Compromise Open-source Blockchain: Hybrid Account + UTXO Smart Contracts

The world's first breakthrough hybrid Account + UTXO based architecture engineered for massive layer one (L1) on-chain scaling and Turing Complete smart contracts.Radiant offers the benefits of a UTXO blockchain along with the advanced capabilities of EVM compatible blockchains, but with none of the downsies.

"I had to write all the code before I could convince myself that I could solve every problem, then I wrote the paper. I think I will be able to release the code sooner than I could write a detailed spec." - Satoshi Nakamoto

In the same spirit of Satoshi Nakamoto's launch of Bitcoin, we released a fully operational and software development stack on Day 1, before even writing the White Paper. We wanted to be convinced that the revolutionary and breakthrough system worked before writing about it. No waiting, no limitations, just a scalable blockchain node and toolkit to build your dreams today.

Swap easily between different L1 RAD tokens.
The goal is to be 100% open source.
Fees will be paid to token holders.
RAD or RXD ??? ??? ???

don't quite understand how new or old the idea of this blockchain is, only know the twitter account goes back to 2019. first gut feeling is this is a Bitcoin with large block size. and store extra data the chain cannot hold else where.

seems the Eth merge help the harsh rate spike.

Radiant looks very promising. Is infinitely scalable UTXO blockchain with account emulation, induction proofs, native L1 NFTs and tokens. Solves back to the genesis problem with UTXO in two distinct ways which mean pretty much any application can be created and it will be fully verified by the miners with no requirement for third party oracles.

A video with the lead developer being interviewed about Radiant. Will give you a good understanding of the of the purpose and vision of the project:

And I can't wait to see the next developments. Your mining algorithm is one of the best I've ever seen.
Congratulations.

It's been a long time since I have been as excited about project as I am with Radiant. The network is growing at a rapid pace and is ready to build on NOW vs SOON as you see mostly elsewhere.

To really understand what Radiant is all about be sure to check out both the whitepaper and design paper as they are some of the best I have ever seen with any project!

Currently below electricity for me, but so far at least the algo doesn't suck like on most projects. Low wattage for GPUs, decent scaling with core clock, aka modern stuff is the winner here.
For bear market a decent project to support overall in terms of slow and steady development.

If you need additional servers to synchronize your Electrum RXD wallet then I recommend this list of active servers.

To set up press Ctrl+K in the open wallet (or click on the big red dot at the bottom right) then uncheck all the boxes and add:

The port is always 500012

Be carefull , the port is always 50012

Have the radiant project think about host the radiant node / server to FLUX ? many other projects did that and FLUX is really decentralized.

Hi,
We've added Radiant (RXD) to http://zpool.ca/algo/sha512256d. See below for connection details.

Fee only: 0.5% or less
BTC payouts are processed once a day for balances above 0.0015
Payouts for all other currencies are made automatically every 4 hours for balances above 0.05 and balances more than 0.0125 are included in one of the payouts each day.

- Sample configurations -
To mine sha512256d and get paid in RXD:
Code:
-a sha512256d -o stratum+tcp://sha512256d.mine.zpool.ca:3342 -u RXD_ADDRESS -p c=RXD,zap=RXD

Exchange to BTC:
Code:
-a sha512256d -o stratum+tcp://sha512256d.mine.zpool.ca:3342 -u BTC_ADDRESS -p c=BTC

All of our ports are NiceHash (https://bit.ly/_nicehash) friendly, no need to specify any extra details

SSL/TLS is available for all ports. Simply prepend the port with a 5. Example for sha512256d: 53342

I tried mining this coin, but there is a very small profit on video cards due to the large influx of miners for this coin.
Can FPGA miners mine this coin?
If the hashrate of the network is 22 TH, and the hashrate of the RTX 3070 video card is 800 megahash, then there are 27500 RTX 3070 video cards in mining now.

I even mined radiant on an old AMD Radeon RX 480 graphics card in September using the srbminer miner. Profit was even on old video cards, but I could not sell at a high price due to problems on the pool. Radeon RX 480 hashrate is about 300 megahash.
Perhaps now the miners have optimized performance on many video cards, but the price of the coin has fallen several times.

Hello, I want to make a query. Is radbfminer compatible with gtx 1050ti graphics cards?
I have tried to connect to a mining pool without success. just says. not found I have my card updated with the 516.94 driver
I was wondering why I checked the sites to make sure of mine. only gtx 1070 cards appear,
but I am interested in knowing from the creators of this cryptocurrency if my card is compatible.
the SHA 512-256 algorithm should look like the bitcoin algorithm with which I get 369 MH using the non-forked version of bfminer

I already wrote to them but nobody answers and it seems that my messages in discord someone is deleting them I will deduce that it is not compatible. I get radbfminer errors. It doesn't recognize my graphics card. i will mine another coin i think i will mine bitcoin the original version of bfminer still recognizes my graph
