Ripple can not affect Bitcoin but the opposite, Bitcoin affects Ripple is true.

XRP does continue to show a green candle or has a rapid rise after the news of the XRP and Sec dispute in the trial seems to be almost over. but I still don't dare to enter XRP. I will wait for bitcoin correction first. because if XRP is now up. but if bitcoin is experiencing a correction then XRP will also be corrected.

People bought for the rumour about burn but they were also selling it after the news if south korea government wanna jail do kwon. In my opinion if this pump was temporary and a good time to take profit and waiting for another dip to come.

I prefer to invest in bitcoin than in XRP, but I admitted that I still have few amounts of XRP, and I only want to sell it at the highest price. If the price can increase so high in the next few weeks and I see an opportunity to sell at that price, I will sell it and search for other coins to invest in. It is like a short-term investment for XRP. If you want to invest in XRP, just be careful and not use too big money as we don't know what will happen later. I may consider buying some XRP for another reason, not because I preferred to hold it. Look, even to say that they are winning in their SEC issue but this won't change the view of this coin and it was too far to compare to Bitcoin and even ETH. As for Ripple, obviously the goes really bring the market to the limelight again, rising as high as 25% initially. But it has somewhat levelling now. But I'm not sure though, it's it late to invest because it has risen again? for the long term? Maybe, but it is still in the gray area and the battle will continue and we really don't know what will be the outcome.

There is a lot of evidence that the outcome of the lawsuit will be in XRP's favor, but there is still a possibility that XRP will lose the case, nothing is certain until the final statement of the court. So those who want to invest should still wait, no need to rush.

XRP winning the lawsuit will have an impact on its price in the short term but there is no guarantee in the long term, if XRP continues to develop its project seriously its future has hope. Not really. Its quite hard to invest on a high supply or to say a very huge without limitation coin. Ripple can mint a lot of xrp if they see the need to do that so its scary thay they can just simply do it and sold some on community's expenses. Id rather invest on some new rising coins that this actually.

I have not updated this news yet, but if it is true, victory for XRP is a good thing, not only for XRP but for the entire crypto industry.
Back to buying XRP it's already bullish so no need to rush we can wait a bit more, with news like this it's not enough for XRP to hit ATH so no need to plunge into the price trap shark. I've been following this pretty closely. I think what happened is fairly obvious.

The SEC's case against both $LBC and $XRP is looking weak due to the delayed judgement. So there was a huge price pump to both of these coins. And the price pump just made retail want to pump them even harder because that's standard retail noise.

The preliminary outcomes of the SEC cases in October will then shock these prices further in some direction, although some amount of it is already priced in, obviously, at this point.

If we look at the current chart of crypto exchanges, perhaps the best chart is Ripple. But I'm not sure Ripple will head to the moon without the others. The crypto market is going through a dump, so we need to be careful when it comes to investing even though some coins are bullish. Because I believe the coin will be dumped in a very short time. So is the condition of Ripple.

Unfortunately XRP will always be in trouble because we are talking about people who did not do something proper, they are fully centralized and that is why SEC is on top of them at all times. I am not saying that it would make a great investment to avoid it, but not investing into it neither because it all depends on some news.

Look at the ATH price of XRP and when it was, while most others have it in 2021, they have it in 2018 because they were battling SEC during 2021, and there is no guarantee that it won't have the same thing on the next bull run neither. This is why it is smarter to avoid them as much as possible to not take any risks at all.

Value wise, $XRP would gain a lot of value (probably) if judgement comes back favorably on $LBC due out by October 3rd because their cases are highly correlated despite taking place in different courts (NH & NY).

That said, I'm not convinced that $XRP could go asymptotic the way $LBC could because $XRP is already listed on a lot of exchanges. $LBC is not. If $LBC were to get listed on a lot of exchanges if they win their case and be literally the only cryptocurrency on Earth with legal clarity, that coin could go bananas (technical term).

It is true that Ripple (XRP) saw a nice increase of 35% in price within the last week while the rest of the market was dropping in that time, all because of that news that they won that trial in court. If i would consider to invest into Ripple instead of Bitcoin? Probably yes because Bitcoin already made a x10000 or something while XRP still has some room to grow probably. So if i would have to decide between Bitcoin and Ripple i would maybe decide for Ripple.
That being said, if i have the free choice of where to invest my money then Ripple would be very low on my list, because it is centralized and that is not what crypto should be. Other projects like Cosmos for example would be way higher on that list.

Very often it happens that during a bearish bitcoin market, some major altcoins start to grow rapidly. Earlier this was seen in ETH, which grew by 70% in 2.5 months. Now liquidity has started to flow into XPR, which has grown 30% in the last 4 weeks. This is a normal occurrence for the market, but it doesn't mean it will always be there. Can't find any good news about the XRP lawsuit.  All I can find is that the summary of the hearing had been requested and people will hear the announcement soon.  The early hike in the price of XRP looks like an organized pump.  If it is just starting then I think, if anyone wanted to take advantage of the early phase of an organized pump, you can hop in taking the risk of possible burnout.  

The current pump of XRP price may result in FOMO once the rulings favor XRP.  So basically getting in at this moment is like walking in a thin line than can break towards a massive surge or possibly a massive dump if the result does not favor XRP.

So with that, I think the current green status of XRP is temporary and may turn red soon if the lawsuit result is unfavorable.


Lol, we don't need to choose between Bitcoin and ripple, there is no rule or law that prohibits holding two or more kinds of cryptocurrency.  Bitcoin is proven to be the most gemmed cryptocurrency so holding it is a no-brainer.  Holding or buying XRP if you have extra fund is a good move if you see that it will give you a huge amount of profit.  So instead of choosing one over the other, I think it is better to have them both if we have the  fund for it.

Ripple is one of the altcoins that is still undervalued, especially since this coin has been sleep for a long time,
there is a lot of fud and bad news circulating about XRP, but I believe it's time for XRP to rise and this is just the beginning,
if you look at the chart it might be new ATH can be achieved next year, hopefully

I'll still choose to have bitcoin but now that I'm very much open to the market and understands the importance of having a short term and long term plan.
If it's profitable to the long term, I'll suggest it to my brother but I'll still got to go with bitcoin and pick it. While it's going up right now, it's again about the cycle in the market. Eventually, we'll see its drop soon.

During the last four years Ripple has been a very bad investment and basically all the good projects that we have in this market have outperformed Ripple during that time, now I was not aware that Ripple have succeeded in the case it had in court, but I wonder how long this can last? Because even if this is a good news for all of the people that have held their coins for years I do not think this kind of movement can be sustained for long, as the market conditions we are facing are not really conductive for Ripple to keep a sustained growth.

FUD was coming caused by ripple was a centralized coin that focusing to develop the insfastructure for the bank and it was abandoing its main mission for crypto. Ripple was also security coin and it's still in a battle against SEC. i think that people were making FUD caused by a reason. People will not do that if there would be a strong reason for them to create various FUD for ripple. FUD was a common thing in the crypto right now.

yes I think so too, from the recent news of the feud between Ripple Labs versus the US SEC has brought the price spike on the XRP cryptocurrency. The price of the XRP cryptocurrency has been on hold for quite some time, even in the 2021 crypto hype, because of the feud. Prior to the US SEC's claim that XRP was a security token, Ripple was ranked in the top five cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.

Lol, are you for real? That's an absurd thing to considered. Just a few pump from xrp don't make it the best investment and especially not over btc. Remember btc is the one calling the shots, so this short term pump of xrp will remain short term, enjoy it while you can.
Reason why ripple has not fallen face flat is because of the centralized whales holding a chunk of it, otherwise there is no way ripple can stay in that position with all the lawsuit slammed on it from different angle.

I didn't know that Ripple could step up and hit a new ATH in the next year. But if there's an altcoin season coming up, there's a chance that Ripple could step up and maybe hit a new ATH. But before that, Ripple is still waiting for the altcoin season to arrive so that it can help raise its price. There's still a lot of speculation about what price Ripple could reach in the next altcoin season, and I think investors are waiting for that too.

At the current condition of market price.  I won't deny that Bitcoin is one of the best investments considering the profit/risk ratio.  But Bitcoin price is getting harder to surge.  Most of the prediction only offers 2 to 3 times of its ATH.  Meaning if the prediction went true, you only profit 3x of your investment at most.  So in terms of profit potential, XRP is way more chance of getting to 10x of its ATH.  The reason for this is the current market price, and the hype it will bring when XRP overcomes the lawsuit problem.

And least we forget, all altcoins are still dependent on the price movement of bitcoin, regardless of what they say, that there is a decoupling already. Yeah, Ripple might be having a good run, but sooner or later it will go and settle down by itself because we are in a bearish cycle.

Ripple even failed to achieve a new all-time high in the recent bull market. It was very disappointing, and I don't think there will be any much difference after this small pump that has got some retail traders excited

what i don't like with xrp is we don't know what are the long-term plans of the team behind this. yes, they are doing good right now. but to what extent? this is why i can understand that many will still prefer btc and eth over xrp. with xrp, their pump may be short-lived and then what? but i do like the fees of XRP, it is cheaper in terms of fees and it is readily available in most trading platforms.

I think it's safe to say that it's somewhat bad to invest on centralized coins. Bitcoin is still my main investment in crypto and there isn't anything that will change that any time soon. XRP, for me, is only good for transferring balances from one platform to another, and I'll just convert back to btc/USDT once I got the XRP up in my wallet. This sudden hype around XRP just because they won a case will not equate to a long-term attention to the said coin. Watch it wane slowly as people shift their interests back to the BTC/ETH again.

This is purely speculation and social media community is just shilling XRP and spreading lies about they are winning in court but in fact SEC is now reinforcing there stand against XRP. Buying XRP now is like catching a falling dagger because XRP team will surely use this additional liquidity on there token order book to get more funds for there court defense expenses. This a trap made by influencers that has a position earlier than most of the retail traders.

I wouldn't invest in Ripple right now because I don't think it can fly far in a market like this. Even if the team has success in court, that does not mean there will be a massive pump. It's just positive news that has affected the price. As has already been said, this is not a bull market for altcoins to pump well. Although I would agree that Ripple hasn't been pumped for a long time. Maybe this time it can do it well.

From the beginning I started to introduce Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, I didn't convince already since day 1 on Ripple (XRP). This project is already fishy, even though they have no issue with the court now, my vision for Ripple (XRP) will not change. Maybe for just trading using technical analysis only I will try it, either short or long position, but for the long term, big no. I'll stick with Bitcoin.

Yes, this is a good thing to hear but never become an assurance that the price will soar high and that is probably because the demand will still be the same as before - investors still not trusting this coin or absolutely have no interest. We can still see XRP surviving from the dip but never we think that after having free from the issues claimed against them will enlighten the mind of the old investors. Only when i have a limited choice, hypothetically,  in a situation where only btc and ripple are the two coins in the market and my investment funds are small...... buying btc with it will not yield a meaningful roi, only then will i consider buying ripple. But in a normal circumstance, as we are right now, i won't consider buying ripple over btc just because it surges a bit recently, i will rather buy something else (several choices to be made).

I guess Ripple has started to rise so I don't think I will invest in Ripple for now and switch it to bitcoin. After all, I invested in Ripple a while ago and still hold some of the Ripple amounts in my wallet. I don't know if Ripple can go as high as ATH before or if it will stay like this but that's okay because I've already made a decent profit from Ripple. I'm still in a waiting position and looking for other coins that can improve in the next altcoin season. So maybe I'll invest in those coins because they have more chances to go high.

Good advise, you need to observe and monitor how the market is moving. Almost 50% increase is not bad but if it's just a pump and dump the risk is really high, like you mentioned XRP was long been forgotten by most if not all the supporters. This current pump was good if you have it way back or if you are willing to take the gamble and willing to lose just in case sideways take place.

And still, at the end of the day,  it's your call if you will follow the hype or you will find other good alternative instead of putting your money in investing with this coin.

Positive news about XRP keeps popping up. and it seems that many investors have continued to accumulate Xrp. they see great potential in xrp. I myself am quite interested in buying xrp this time. but I'm not sure if xrp can make it to $1 anytime soon. but in the long run I think Xrp can exceed its ATH.

If XRP wins, it will rise 100% or 200% or more because of hype, greed and forced liquidations. You will miss it by waiting but you can simply wait for correction and join to get bouncing profit. Even it is 50%, it is safer than you buy it now and bet for result of law suit.

It's strong caused by XRP foundation has a few billions worth of cash in their pocket. If this company has no money and this company already dead. People can only bet on whether ripple will win the battle or not. It has nothing to do with bitcoin ,i think that you must understand the context first.
The pump was coming triggered by some optimism news about the future of xrp against SEC. This can be said that if people are strting to trust this coin but the result is not yet coming.

It will touch 1$ very soon. I’m not touching any of mine until it reaches a certain price. I don’t need little profits now. I only invest what I can afford to lose so me holding is easy. If anything, I’ll keep buying while I can. in order for XRP or any other stock or crypto to rocket up is there has to be people buying at the current highs. They won't get there by selling for small profits so I waiting for 1$.

I hope you are not wrong with your decision. I've never said XRP has no potential nor does it turns scam but this coin has absolutely not easy to pump. I have had some XRP before and holding it for just a few months because I sell them due to the notice that the price won't make high even during the Bull season. I'm not sure their winning against the SEC make help it change the scenario but still, I really don't have the confidence that it will pump high just like the other coins.

For those that thinks long term on it, I may agree to that that it's already late to buy it. It has rose already to its ATH and never got back again there.

There is no hard to pump when an organized group decided to pump a certain altcoin.  We had seen it on the much expensive altcoins, and even to those that have a massive supply.  The qestion is not abut how hard the market price to pump is, but is there an interesting pump group to take advantage of the XRP market and pump XRP to the moon.

The price of XRP is indeed less than $1 USD, but you also need to look at the circulating and uncirculated supply yet. XRP's current marketcap is over 24 billion USD, a huge market cap.
For long term investment XRP is not on my portfolio, however for short term trading/investing XRP is still very feasible.

Can you provide a link for us to see if your claims were true? I think the pump was caused by other things. It may be that ripple supporters are now excited for the result and assume that ripple can win the case but for now no, ripple didn't win yet as the final judgment have not occurred but according to an article that I read, it says it will happen on October.

Usdt and usdc are stable coins so they can't go to the moon but their price will always remain at 1 dollar at most. Their market cap and other stats maybe. Ripple can also go to the moon in the event they win the lawsuit because the devs and its supporters are definitely going to celebrate and pump the coin up. Of course others will just join the hype as well.

I don't know where you got this information, but to date, Ripple has not won any lawsuit, since it has not ended yet. I don't think it's just rumours. Both sides in the SEC lawsuit have said they support the proposal that the court make the final decision in the case based on the evidence in the case. There is a curtain in front of the eyes of a person who is a fan of a token or a coin. XRP fans are too much involved with the coin and this blocks them from seeing the risks, well there are risks with almost every coin, except maybe bitcoin.

However, XRP has some legal ones, not just risk of what they would do but literally what SEC would do to them, which is something that is not up to XRP to decide, and that means we could see it crash without doing anything, and that's a risk that people should realize. In these cases, I always assume that the risk doesn't worth it, and if you invest into something else it would be a lot easier solution.

We can't blame them since they are a hardcore fan of XRP. Maybe they earned a significant amount of profit from shilling XRP that's why they are still doing it today. Risk is there but I think XRP fans are hoping to make there supported coin rise it's price by having their support. One thing is for sure, XRP community is strong and never fazed even with the issues it faced before.

XRP has not experienced an increase other than the influence of Bitcoin market price, as far as the XRP case involving the SEC has not dropped XRP reputation from the top altcoin and is still the top position for the highest altcoin trading volume. Anyway, we really hope for a positive final verdict for XRP and hopefully this case will be resolved soon.

And what might happen to the price even if Ripple wins this lawsuit against the SEC? How would this fundamentally affect the development of the company? Two ways. If there were formerly exchanges that dropped it or didn't list XRP, they might now. Or if there were institutional players that weren't willing to touch XRP while it was indicted, they might afterwards.

The effects for Ripple though are certainly muted. It's rank #6 with a 24b marketcap. Only so much can even theoretically happen given those constraints.

The effects for $LBC would be astronomical though if similar were to happen. It has a market cap in the low 8-figures. It was listed on multiple exchanges that pulled out, presently only two. Etc. It's ~2000x smaller than XRP just on market cap alone.
