Title: Banker Suicides, Impending Economic Collapse, and Forex Investigations
Post by: fordlincoln on March 28, 2014, 04:28:02 AM
JP Morgan bankers and analysts have been killing themselves in amazing ways recently: suicides, leaping to their deaths from the top of buildings, shooting oneself with a nail gun, and stepping in front of a train. Scary when considering the access these people had and the type of information they were privy to.

Meh, It still is possible that it is just noise. Has banker suicide gone up, or are we just making a big deal about normal happenings?

If its true that real pro hitmans are able to kill people so that there is no doubt that it was a suicide... i would think that these jobs are rather dangerous. I really dont see a reason to kill yourself in such a position. I mean you will always find a new job, you wont be responsible for your failures and so on.

And with a nail gun? What CEO knows how strong such thing is? Can he be sure that it goes through the bone? And im not sure if i would willing to try it since i would fear that its not enough to die having a nail in the brain.

The founder and CEO of American Title Services in Centennial was found dead in his home, the coroner reported that Talley died from seven or eight self-inflicted wounds from a nail gun fired into his torso and head.

-Richard Talley, 56, and the company he founded in 2001 were under investigation by state insurance regulators at the time of his death.

-Also unclear is whether Talley's suicide was related to the investigation by the Colorado Division of Insurance, which regulates title companies.

Was this guy on some insane painkillers or geeked out the wazoo on coke or something? How the hell does one "suicide" himself with seven or eight shots with a nailgun? Just one shot with a nail gun would result in excruciating pain that I doubt he would be physically able to then shoot himself another six or seven more times after that.

That's a lot of suicides. Or were they suicided?

It is a sad story, we should objectively look at those problems. The problem is not the position, present situation.

Banker Suicides, Impending Economic Collapse, and Forex Investigations?
What about the LIBOR scandal from a few years ago?
Did anything big ever come from that?

Actually googled Libor scandal as I don't remember hearing about it, turns out the courts just charged someone:

Thanks for the update.
Some people thought that Libor story was HUGE.
Perhaps it was and remained "under-reported"

People who suicide because of money and debts deserve to die because they failed to understand life in the first place
