There are some changes that will be in the new version. The focal point I heard was regarding block downloads. Van Wirdum and Provoost discussed the possibility of abolishing the checkpoint. In my opinion, for those who are still in the technical learning stage, the latest upgrade is better around the old wallet migration tool to a descriptor wallet.
