Hi guys...

So earlier today, I was having a slight argument with a friend of mine who said there are some games that naturally carry ill luck - ill luck means, the player can never win anything significant from such games no matter how long and how much they wager.
I tried to make him understand that some games are luck based and such games requires luck to win good money, if the player is not lucky, he or she can never win any good amount of money, but he still insisted, he said he has experienced it with some games but can't remember their names.
At the end of the day, I had to agree with him in order to end the argument.

I want to get your input on this matter guys, I have just two questions, and they are - -

1. Do you believe there are some games that carry ill luck with them, that no matter how long and how much the player wager, he or she never win significant amount of money?

2. Which game have you won the most amount of money from?, and how much in total did you win from that game?
Maybe you can also mention the game provider(Pragmatic, Evolution   etc.) so we can search for the game on our respective casinos and try it out.

experience doesn't bring luck. maybe it can help in some situations to avoid some bad picks but generally speaking casino games are not based on skill (I am talking about virtual casinos/excluding blackjack played in person or texas holdem etc...).

1 No. It's all based on House edge and statistics. Some sessions are more lucky, some sessions are a disaster.
Maybe you can have a better experience in some game, meanwhile another player get an heavy loss in the same game.

2 I will never count "casino" games because it's math you can't "earn" from it. Personally I have been lucky in some games but probably if I will continue to play I will just realize a loss.

^It is not possible to win based on luck games, if you will never win on the day when you are gambling, just take a rest and come back when you are ready. But I believe the longer time you spend on gambling, the higher your chances of losing your money.
Games that were not pure luck which I usually won, poker games, and sports betting usually gave me a good profit because I know how to research and study upon placing bets in sports betting. If you are not lucky enough to fight house edge, find another one but don't tell me you will never win fighting house edge.

Honestly, I don't believe that there are any games on online casinos that take away from your winning chances. Some games may provide you with better chances to win than others, but no matter which slot game you choose to play, you are still able to win the jackpot - if you play long enough. In the end, it's up to you to determine if any of these games will bring you luck.

Yes, there are luck-based games like that you can only win a small amount of money but when you're pouring in a lot of money that's when you lose I notice it in one game in the crash game, and on dice but I will not put the blame in the casino its just bad luck on my side and I am aware of that




My favorite is Coin flip this is not a popular game but in one casino I am good at predicting which side of the coin will give me a win I don't want to mention the amount but still win on this game and looking to break my highest earnings here.

You mentioned 3rd Party service providers, so I guess you want information on Slots? Well, third party Slot developers will give casinos several options for a RTP (Return to Player) for each of their Slots. I generally won the most on regular sports betting websites. 3) Once I see there are recent big wins, I would skip that game as the RTP would have been on the disadvantage to me

Luck base game is real, even me for instance there are some days and weeks i won't be lucky enough to get some targeted matches or games, i will end up losing instead to win. No. It depends on your patience. You have to play again and again and you`ll win anyway. The problem is that not many people ready to lose so much times. I think that it is possible to test with the minimum bet and some kind of the gambling bot. You don`t bet by yourself and after several thousands of rolls (at least) you can get some statistics.

I`m mostly gamble for fun and lose some small sums. But several times i`ve won more than several deposits i lost before.

My huge win on my gambling history here in crypto is playing Crazy Time by evolution gaming year 2020 when pandemic first hit. Yes, I totally agree with what you just said, because in as much as betting/gambling is concerned, one can never underestimate the importance of luck, as having the basic knowledge about the strength/weakness of any particular team is one thing that can give you an edge towards winning a match even before it gets started. Well, OP. To answer your two questions:

1. I do not believe in luck, I believe in probability. The probability of winning the lottery jackpot is almost impossibly high, yet if you were to compare that to dice, then obviously you would think dice to be the better game as it has a higher probability of you winning. But again, thats not luck. Its just picking a game with a high probability for winning over a game with a low probability. Winning hundreds of millions with a 10 buck bet is just as almost impossible as winning the lottery though.

2. The best game I have won the most money from would probably be blackjack. But then again I did put in a high bet compared to other gambling games. So that might be coincidence...

For me, the ill luck isn't from the game or the casino itself but rather it is mostly on the player himself that has ill luck. I've had a similar discussion with a friend of mine regarding this slot game where I never win anything no matter how long I play however his response was that he enjoyed playing that game as he always wins and that was where he won his highest win ever. Interestingly poker, and I am not even a poker player at all. How it happened was that I joined some free poker tournament, there wasn't really a big amount to win, it was just entry to the real one, and the real one had costly entry, like 10k dollars or something, but if you won this participation tournament beforehand, you could get a free ticket, and that tournament was free.

I joined, I won it, by pure luck I suppose, and I get a free entry to the real tournament, then in the real tournament I got second place as well, I was really close to getting first place too, it was 50-50% chips at one point. So, I won my biggest single prize from there, without spending any money. Gambled poker many times after that, never won anything, that was just pure luck.

The winnings depend on the max win available in the game.  I don't believe that some games carry ill luck.  The result of any gambling game is random so we only rely on the possible chance we can get a huge win.  Other games have low RTP and others have high volatility, so this affects the result of the game.


The game I won the most is from Dice.  Winning the jackpot twice with a total of more than 1.2xx BTC (0.97BTC on the first win + 0.3xx BTC on the 2nd win.  It was a dice game from fortuneJack.
