Title: BOUGHT BTC BUT ITS NOT SHOWING UP IN MY ARMORY WALLET Post by: jmlkav6699 on October 23, 2022, 01:56:04 PM Hello everybody, I recently bought some bitcoins and i dont see them in my wallet...
I have checked on te blockchain that my btc were delivered, Moonpay said the same thing, but I have nothing. Everybody told me to download the whole blockchain through Bitcoin Core, I did it, wich took me 4 days, but after that, still nothing. My Armory wallet is still showing up as empty, I've tried rescanning my balance, but it loads infinitely and stays at 0 percent all the time.. Can somebody help me pls?? I knew this, but I don't know why I forgot to mention that when replying to your other topic. I am sorry.
If you can't store the full blockhchain, as mentioned by BitMaxz in that topic, the only solution for you is to import your private key(s) into a SPV wallet like electrum. If pruning was enabled when downloading the blockchain, that's what caused the problem. I've tried sweeping my private keys into my electrum wallet but, once again, I don't know if it's gonna work, as the transaction shows as 'unconfirmed'..? By sweeping your private keys, you actually made a transaction to your electrum wallet. Now, your transaction has been broadcast to the network and you should be able to see that on block explorers as well. It will be confirmed sooner or later. The confirmation time depends on the fee rate you used for your transaction. Whatever fee you paid, it shouldn't take long. Network isn't busy. If it's shown unconfirmed after you sweep it means you already did the right way to sweep the private key. Just make sure you have full control of your Electrum wallet you must save the seed phrase somewhere safe or write them on the piece of paper because you can use them for future recovery. Electrum is much user friendly than Armory if you want to use armory in the future you must have some knowledge about Bitcoin core because Armory wallet does not work without downloading the whole blockchain and honestly on my first try using Armory I didn't experience that issue because I follow some guides in YouTube and also here https://www.bitcoinarmory.com/tutorials/ |
