you just want to be sure. i am not accusing anyone here of a scam but i have already fallen for it once here and would also like to protect the other interested users and myself from it.

Yes but as a good starting point proof of ownership should be  and has been established,
so now any further negotiations can be build on that.

its kinda like asking someone who is holding 500 btc of the fourms btc to post time stamped photos and the front and back of the cas coins they have for sale. kind of pointless

it's not pointless at all. have you ever thought about the fact that these accounts can also be hacked ... but then the cry is then big when the dear Bitcoin are gone... :-X

I agree with Cygan on verification and time stamping for safety and security. Status, or amount of BTC you hold, should not give you a pass for following forum ethics, rules, and protocols. Most of us who buy/sell/trade often have learned this the hard way by being burned. We want the physical cypto collectibles world to gain in popularity, and we always welcome new members. Some members may not even know who "THE" members are, nor do they give a shit. Just my two cents  ;D
