Title: Bitcoin Pumpkin Soup And Family Warmth
Post by: Ahli38 on October 28, 2022, 03:58:33 AM
After participating in the Bitcoin Pumpkin Carving Contest. I made use of the pumpkin that I had carved. by cooking it with my wife.
and throughout the cooking process my wife kept asking about bitcoin and also about this forum. maybe he was curious about what I did by carving a pumpkin slices with a bitcoin symbol. I also explained it and talked back a bit about bitcoin and this forum. we talked at length.
and time passes unnoticed . the bitcoin pumpkin soup is cooked. and ready to serve.

we serve it to the big family (my brothers). and we eat together. And because there are several pieces of pumpkin that are shaped like a bitcoin symbol. then all family members become talking about bitcoin. and my brother who talks the most about bitcoin. because he really became serious about studying bitcoin since I told him first. even his investment in bitcoin is way more than mine.
The warmth is felt in my family.
not in vain I entered the Bitcointalk Bitcoin Pumpkin Carving Contest. so I can eat pumpkin with my family and have a warm chat.

these are the steps I took in cooking bitcoin pumpkin soup.

This looks pretty nice as a display of innovation in art work with preparing soup carved with bitcoin pumpkin arts served as meal, there's no doubts about the way bitcoin has been a source of meal to the table for many who have ceased the opportunity with bitcoin, this look more pretty on the ongoing contest for 🎃 [ANN] Bitcointalk Bitcoin Pumpkin Carving Contest 🎃 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5416347.0) where members were encourage to make beauty out with bitcoin using pumpkin to design an artwork, OP you may also consider that thread to move this there or create another similar creativity for the purpose of the contest, your art skills are encouraging.

wow, what a cool thing you are doing, is cooking using a pumpkin that was used for a bitcoin carving contest. And your soup looks unique because the pumpkin you cook has a bitcoin engraving on it. hope you win the contest. and honestly, this is the first time I've seen a soup with a bitcoin logo on it.

This is creativity at its best and a good way to showcase the artistic talents of the Bitcointalk forum members via the https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5416347.0 , and at the rate at which these contest has gotten much participants, I can't wait to get mindblown. I wish some magical fairy could just wave her wand on me as I can't carve for the life of me ???

Anyways, good job in this bruh.

Now in my country there are restaurants that provide unique food and drink menus, in addition to providing a bar for visitors who want to learn about crypto money, there is also an NFT exhibition in the form of local artists' works to attract local visitors, if you are interested in trying mocktails while To learn about investing and crypto, you can directly come to the crypto bar Zipmex Indonesia which is on the first floor of Senayan Park, Central Jakarta.

I also participated in the contest and it was my first time carving a pumpkin because it is a rare skill in my location. It was a very wonderful experience and I observed that my carving skills improved as I progressed.

My parents when I was younger used to serve us pumpkin dishes which is called "anyi" in my local dialect. But my children have never eaten pumpkin meals in their entire life. This competition allowed me to prepare a local pumpkin dish for them.

I boiled the pumpkin with salt and served it with pepper, palm oil, onions, and vegetables. I thought they would not enjoy it because these Gen Z generations are used to sweet and foreign dishes. I thought if they taste it, the dish would be returned to me. But I was wrong. They rushed the pumpkin meal and even had some disagreements in the course of eating.

I did have a conversation with my family about Bitcoin, I just can't remember how many times we had talked about it.  It all started when my parents are urging me to get a new job after I resigned from my previous job.

They are very concerned since they always see me in front of my computer and seldom go outside.  I only go out when I have something important to buy or to do then the moment I got home, I am always in front of the computer.

At first, my mom keep on nagging me that I had gone lazy and just wasted my education has no plans in my life because she thought that I am wasting my life sitting and playing games (little does she knows that I was learning the curve of cryptocurrency at that time).  I tried to explain it to her but she doesn't understand.   Of course, people won't listen if they don't see any results.  Even though my parents are not comfortable with what I am doing, they just let me be but often remind me about my future.  I always listen to what they are saying and when they are done nagging, I humbly explain my plan.  As usual, they have no faith in what I am doing but still, I keep persevering.

Almost half a year had passed, and at last my effort come to fruition.   I had my first earnings in Bitcoin.  I happily give it to my mom and explained what happened.  This time she eagerly listened to my explanation.  The first earning is followed by another, and another.  The conversation about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is now a normal thing in my family.  It is hard to make them understand in the beginning but the moment I show them the result, all their doubt about what I am doing disappeared.

I didn't realize there was a news announcement on the homepage about a bitcoin pumpkin carving contest. and I just realized it after seeing your post on this one. when I looked at the top left corner there was news about this contest. even when I checked the link it turned out that the contest had been going on for a long time and was almost over. I think I also want to enter the contest. but the time seems to be almost over. and I don't have a pumpkin. can it be with other fruit?

It's great to see you can take advantage of the Pumpkin you carved by cooking it and eating it with your family. I also hope that someday I can talk to my family about bitcoin in a relaxed atmosphere. I am currently too busy working. and time together with family is much taken up with work.

It seems that the forum is turning into a culinary forum: either a pizza contest, or a pumpkin contest, which also smoothly turns into a culinary one. :) In fact, all this is good for the masses of adoption and when housewives look for recipes on the internet, they will stumble upon the recipe of your soup (or pizza) and find out about bitcoin. :) No matter what ways (how to attract), the main thing is to convey people knowledge about bitcoin. Including dishes "with" bitcoin in thos soup in the circle of family and friends.

By the way, very funny and cute BTC-s in your soup and now you can brag to everyone that you have a lot of bitcoin. :)

Pumpkin slices are good because Bitcoin carvings don't crumble when cooked into soup, it looks like your wife is careful to cook this pumpkin soup to make it look more attractive. lol

I also took part in the pumpkin carving Bitcoin contest which was held on the forum and it was really fun when making carvings and many people also asked my brother about Bitcoin carved into pumpkins, except for my wife because she has known Bitcoin for a long time after I taught her understanding.

I forgot to express when the pumpkin was cooked I forgot to take a photo, but from all of that there was warmth in discussing Bitcoin at length my brothers and parents, so they now quite understand that Bitcoin is an asset that must be invested from now on.

This warmth engendered positivity and some brothers accepted Bitcoin with understanding.

Looks like you have to hurry if you want to enter this contest. Because there are only 2-3 days left (31 October 2022). This is a pumpkin carving contest. but I saw another member who carved in besides the pumpkin. there are carvings on papaya, potatoes and other fruits. the point is that they all want to participate in this contest even though they can't find pumpkins in their area. You can start looking for pumpkins in your area. but if can't find it. then I thought it was okay to carve on fruit other than pumpkin. but i don't know if the job will be counted into the contest or not. good luck.

Yeah, It's so nice to be able to find warmth in the family. and chatting about bitcoin in a fun and happy situation is a great thing.
good luck sir, with your pumpkin carving in the bitcoin pumpkin carving contest.

A great way to usefully spend time with your family discussing not only the current routine, but something more, especially if family members are interested in crypt issues, it can be useful in doubles.

which is nice for us to know. pumpkins are used not only to enter the contest and become a display until it dries up or rots.
You cook it and enjoy it with your family. of course, it's better and more useful. I'm sure you enjoy your pumpkin soup happily.

Firstly, I wouldn't have known that was pumpkin not until I read to the bottom of the writings. I was like that was Carica papaya cookie's.
It is nice to see you participated in the contest and also talking to your family about Bitcoin, and they must be comfortable with it
It's not about having Bitcoin but it's custody, make sure they are well inclined in the directions to store them.
Did you and your family enjoy the Pumpkin Soup?
Must be very delicious.

Spending time with family is necessary to build harmony within the family itself. my family happens to be people who are always curious and new knowledge. especially my brother. he is the most deep in crypto even his knowledge may have surpassed me. from this togetherness I got many benefits such as family warmth and also new knowledge about crypto. because we exchange ideas about bitcoin and crypto.
Firstly, I wouldn't have known that was pumpkin not until I read to the bottom of the writings. I was like that was Carica papaya cookie's.
Ah yes, the color is a little similar to ripe papaya. ;D

Thanks mate. we enjoyed this delicious bitcoin pumpkin soup and having a warm conversation was such a pleasure. And when a family has the same interest in bitcoin it's a great thing. because we become able to exchange knowledge about it. and study it together.

I did not participate in the pumpkin contest because I cannot find a pumpkin that is good for carving.

Anyway, what you did was great. No food was wasted. I would do the same if I were to find one.
It's awesome that it was delicately cooked so that the physical look will not break. Thumbs up to whoever cooked it.  :D
I would've messed it up to a slimy mashed pumpkin if I have done it, but I like it that way especially with rice and some grilled fish.

wow that's so cool,

take part in a pumpkin carving competition, then you eat the pumpkin with your family, it's a very warm moment.

because I'm sure there are lots of people taking part in the pumpkin carving competition,
after they have finished photographing the lebu they immediately throw it away or don't eat it.

and it seems you also have expertise in the field of art, because to clean up such small bitcoins neatly requires good accuracy and expertise.

that's so cool.

Pumpkin soup is my favorite food. and once a week I always buy a pumpkin. because my wife and children really like pumpkins. but the difference is that what my wife cooks doesn't have a bitcoin logo. I think you're doing a great job, because you didn't throw away the leftover pumpkins that entered the pumpkin carving contest. and you even cook it well.

That looks delicious, how I wish that I should be able to cook some food for myself and family but I don't know how to.  ;D

I also want to know have you ever talked about bitcoin with your family? and in what moment do you talk about it?
Yes, I did. And that started when I told them that I'd sold some bitcoins and then bought a few things. Just like casual talks and on how I'm able to have it and how to sell it. I've encouraged them to invest and basically hold it just how I did everything as a test and experiment and for them, they have the shortcut route because someone who has experienced up and down of it has told them how I overcame with those.

I had some conversations with the members of my family in the past, but If I could go back in time, I'd tell myself to STOP! Most of them have a habit of sharing literally anything with their friends and in some cases, even strangers [e.g. my son does Bitcoin stuff and etc...] and there's a chance that I [you and your brother] might become someone else's target!

but i don't know if the job will be counted into the contest or not. good luck.
If it falls under the following categories, it'll be counted:

The carved bitcoin from the pumpkin seems quite appealing; I'm only imaging eating something this appealing, more like eating a coin (money). But everything is OK.

I also want to know have you ever talked about bitcoin with your family? and in what moment do you talk about it?

Talking to your family about bitcoin is another type of interactive session if they are interested in learning more about it. Only my brother and I are familiar with bitcoin in my family, and I know more about it than him, but he rarely asks me about it since he is the type of person who prefers to study on his own, which I admire.

Even though we don't have the opportunity, introducing the other members of the family to bitcoin will be quite interesting. Your piece has already encouraged me to make one, which I will do as soon as possible so that we are not the only ones profiting from the presence of bitcoin.

Well done Ahli38!

I did the same as yourself and used some pumpkin to make a spicy soup with other
squash. I only carved one BTC symbol for the soup you did quite a few.

Fortunately almost all my family are into Bitcoin so the soup and carved pumpkin didn't
have to work to convince or introduce others to BTC but I can imagine it would be a great
occasion to do so.

Here was my soup:

Wow, so many recipes. In my area pumpkin soup is made by frying vegetables like carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, parsley in a pan along with chopped pumpkin, than boiling it all together and blending it into a cream. Then you add cream and serve with croutons.

Good job on carving those bitcoin signs OP. You can actually bake those like you'd bake fries in the oven and they'll come out as a healthy snack that children will adore.

That will be a very delicious combination and it would be worth giving a trail, the cream added would be mayonnaise or pure refined butter. I have seen the mixture beith carrots and potatoes also some little amounts of cabbage.
What I love about OP is that he has been in close contact with his family teaching and self educating his family about Bitcoin. I am very sure this won't be the last time OP will tell his family about Bitcoin, good one mate.

Wow @OP! That's so cool and se good initiative.
It's really one way go raise curiosity as one becomes curious over what activities could make an individual spend there time to be in on a contest and also go the length of filling the stomach with shapes of an innovation. Bitcoin and bitcointalk is really getting users involved and getting footholds in families. That's nice.

From the look of it, it seems nice and I hope it tastes nice too. I mean how could it not, it was made out of love for the family and a project that is gradually shaping humanity. Nice one!

I'd recommend sour cream. Mayo added to a soup can coagulate because it has egg in it and you'll get noodles or lumps.
Sour cream or coconut milk if you prefer it the oriental way. You can also add chot peppers if you want it to be spicy. Pumpkin is a great soup base that can be adjusted to many cooking styles and the soup can be eaten hot or cold.

I think I understand what you mean. because my friend has got almost a similar case. My friend talks about bitcoin to his family. and his family instead spread it to neighbors and people they met. and because of limited knowledge. what his family conveys to his neighbors becomes a little prone to misunderstanding because he talks too much without being equipped with sufficient knowledge.
