Title: Polkadot.js ledger support
Post by: Newton90 on October 28, 2022, 11:08:54 AM
hello.can anyone tell me please is ledger hardware wallet support still experimental on polkadot.js wallet?

i ask because i see notice in UI :

Ledger support is still experimental and some issues may remain. Trust, but verify the addresses on your devices before transferring large amounts. There are some features that will not work, including batch calls (used extensively in staking and democracy) as well as any identity operations.

and the question arose: is this an outdated warning or actual info?

You can read most of the details about Ledger and Polkadot through this blog: https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016289919-Polkadot-DOT-?docs=true

All of the possible details that you need to know might be found from that blog update they've got for Polkadot and its investors that have questions about it.

If you still see the warn.

Then, they're still facing the problem. Did you already ask with the support? try to ask first and then try to confirmed with question from especially reddits user. It's help to get answer as well from reddits.

Otherwise, you're gonna to get answers from unknown answer.
