Title: Have you read the Bitcoin White Paper?
Post by: Lordsilvabtc on October 29, 2022, 10:01:58 AM
Having gone through the Bitcoin Whitepaper myself as recommend by krakenfx . It's amazing to discovered that there's no single mentioned of the word Exchange and Blockchain,  which prompt some questions into my mind, nevertheless the word Bitcoin was also mentioned twice as note via https://www.linkedin.com/posts/krakenfx_have-you-read-the-bitcoin-white-paper-activity-6991919047869161472-ctmt?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_android ,
And with me confirming it specifically. Ever since I came across this whitepaper, I keep thinking of the following questions

• Is this a new Era for Bitcoin upgrade, beyond Blockchain implementation
• Is this the end of BlockChain era
• Is there a new technology coming soon
• What's this new evolution all about
• How come no exchange was mentioned
• What are your important take, from this new Whitepaper
• And as noted by krakenfx what is money.

The bitcoin whitepaper has been released over a decade ago, if you discover something new, that does not mean it is, or it would have any effect on the network now.
There is no new technology coming, neither is there a new upgrade.

• How come no exchange was mentioned
• What are your important take, from this new Whitepaper
• And as noted by krakenfx what is money.
Bitcoin is not directly linked to exchanges. But for what it is worth, [stock] exchanges was mentioned in the whitepaper.
There is no new whitepaper.

There is no new technology coming, neither is there a new upgrade.

Depends on what we mean by "new technology" and "new upgrade"; because technically, soft forks such as Taproot can be considered as "upgrades". It's really just the fact that Bitcoin "upgrades" take a lot of time, but not necessarily that they don't happen.

Blockchain wasn’t mentioned in the Bitcoin whitepaper, because Bitcoin was the first “blockchain” - the term was ‘created’ after the whitepaper was released when similar projects were developed  :)

TAproot is an upgrade to Bitcoin kind of, along with Segwit, but looking at their various protocols, one can easily tell that it brings more benefit to the Bitcoin, Meaning the upgrade of those protocols, it's still to the empowerement and upliftment of Bitcoins, hence I think it's still on Bitcoin circle

Then also study about blockchain for you not to get twisted otherwise you won't still understand how it works.

Blockchain is not mentioned, but satoshi used similar constructions. "Chain of blocks" is mentioned as an example. You will also find plenty of "longest chain" or "honest chain" mentions. You can also substitute satoshi's use of "network" with blockchain to get the same or similar meaning.

There shouldn't be any mention of the word "exchange" in bitcoin whitepaper because despite the way some people advertise bitcoin to newcomers, it is not meant as something to be traded or invested in for profit. Bitcoin is a currency.
As for blockchain, @Pmalek already mentioned there are plenty of this word found in the paper.

Considering the fact that almost all the altcoin developers gave up on innovating a long time ago and the fact that anything new that comes out is a moneygrab project, I have to say no.

Words coming from someone associated with a centralized exchange who hasn't even read the paper and only did a ctrl+f search inside the PDF for a keyword is not worth discussing. :)

Once the whitepaper shared and there is no one is handling Bitcoin so it is not possible anything new will be appea.
• Is this the end of BlockChain era
Blockchain (Talking about the whole Technology) era is developing day by day.
• Is there a new technology coming soon
Technology is keep growing and new and new inventions are appearing day by day. (But Bitcoin launch turns the Technology to a new road and still keep growing.)
• What's this new evolution all about
• How come no exchange was mentioned
• What are your important take, from this new Whitepaper

No new whitepaper in the market. Satoshi was a legend and use the words which were important.

• Is there a new technology coming soon
There was one called 'the tangle' that was introduced by the IOTA altcoin. But I can't remember the last time I heard any mention of either one. Ever since Bitcoin came out, all the altcoins that succeeded it promised to deliver more modern tech that would solve the scalability problems and allow that new currency to be cheap, secure, but also achieve quick transaction finality. As you are surely aware, it's Bitcoin that still sits at the top and it will be on the throne in the future as well.

I would have to do some research on the tangle to be able to explain it properly. But from what I remember, they never considered themselves to be a blockchain, meaning a record that begins with 0 and increases by one every time a new block is found. The tangle is like a spider's web intended to be a better store of records than the blockchain. No idea if this tech found any real-life application anywhere.

Of course @OP sir , I already read the first Whitepaper released by Satoshi Nakamoto by 31 October 2008. Bitcoin Whitepaper written within 9 pages which Primarily consider it as a P2P electric Cash, Now we all know about the global familiar coin "Bitcoin". Normally Satoshi Nakamoto published it by Cryptography Mailing (Metzdowd) publisher site. Satoshi Nakamoto used first website, www.bitcoin.org and satoshin@gmx.com
