There's something interesting for me to know from you about the Bitcoin journey. There are many stories that happened in Bitcoin's journey before it was famous as it is today that I know from search results on the internet, ranging from being underestimated to having no price.

Anyone reading, please share what you've learned while getting to know Bitcoin. What is your reason behind Bitcoin's survival to this day and how do you thank Bitcoin. Finally, making something is very easy but maintaining it is very difficult.

Did you hear or read about the origin of the world “hodl"? Today I saw a post on Facebook that the forum member was drunk when he wrote hodl instead of hold. Generally I learnt that mistakes go viral online. I'm not sure about his condition that day whether drunk or typos but, sharing ones thought at any moment, mood or condition can make a difference in the cryptocurrency market.

I made a thread some time ago with what I felt were 10 of the most classic Bitcointalk posts.  I'll link to it below.  It's not a bad place to start if you're wanting to learn more about what has gone on here over the years, especially the highlights.  Throughout the thread you'll find that other people have also listed some threads that they feel were important.  Feel free to add to their suggestions if you think there's been a thread that hasn't been represented.  Happy reading.  Enjoy!

Bitcoin has been a long road, one filled with its fair share of criticism and danger in the past. But now things are different. Bitcoin is slowly becoming mainstream and will make its mark on history as one of the most important inventions in modern times. It's also one of the most secure forms of payment available today, which makes it a great choice for those looking to protect their assets.
The world is changing, and Bitcoin is at the forefront of this change, but Bitcoin's success is definitely due to its users. It's up to you whether you want to be a part of this change or not.

There are many reasons why Bitcoin survives but the aspect of fud, the government's negative stance, and inflation. The major reason why Bitcoin survive is because of its decentralization, consensus, block halving, and no censorship.
These are what I believe make the trust and confidence of crypto enthusiasts in Bitcoin stand strong and once crypto gains the trust of crypto enthusiasts it is easy for the coin to survive.

I guess the timing of you entering the market could be good. The price is still very cheap and if your intention is to invest and make money and profit then you made the right now. I guess that is the first thing that you will get, financial freedom, meaning because of your investment on bitcoin, you will have a good cash flow and you can do whatever you want, buy things for your and for your family. So it's going to be a good experience for you down the line, invest and hold and then wait for the next bull run to enjoy your profit.

To sum it all up, I learned what's beyond the price of Bitcoin. In a way, I'm proud to say that the reason why I bought my first Bitcoin is not anymore the same reason why I HODL them until today. That, for me, is good growth enough as far as understanding Bitcoin is concerned. That somehow signifies that my way of looking at Bitcoin has somehow matured so to speak.

I guess the way to thank Bitcoin is to spread its awareness. But I have to admit that I'm not anymore as aggressive in talking about it as before. This is basically for security reasons and to avoid being wrongly judged. But I'm always more than willing to converse about it with somebody who is truly curious about it. I have very limited knowledge, though, so an exchange is certainly better than a lecture of some sort.

Your intention to join this forum in my opinion is a very good step, because by joining this forum, it is certain that your experience and insight will increase and you will have a stronger mentality, because the people in this forum are people who can it is believed that even most people on this forum always provide very useful input, they always provide positive education about bitcoin, I also learn a lot about bitcoin from this forum,

I learned that people will not believe you if you don't have enough proof of good results engaging in Bitcoin.  Just like @Darker45, I was very excited to share Bitcoin when I first stumbled on it.  Most of the people I shared with just laugh at me and questioned the integrity of Bitcoin.  That was 7 years ago.  Only a few listened.  I learned that sharing things and knowledge about stuff is good but we should check whether the person is interested enough in the things we are sharing.


The moment I knew about Bitcoin, I learned the huge potential of its industry sadly I wasn't financially stable during those times, and in the process of knowing Bitcoin, it gives me several opportunities to fix my financial situation and alleviate my way of living.  As thanks to the opportunity given to me in engaging with Bitcoin, I spread awareness about Bitcoin and transact with it if the situation permits.

Skeptics about the value and usefulness of bitcoin were and still are now eight or nine years ago, I tried to tell my friends about it, but there was nothing but condescending ridicule.
With the development of technology, the emergence of the bitcoin phenomenon was only a matter of time, and the further development goes, the more likely it is that something like this will appear in the future, when home quantum computers appear and development tools become available, I think the time will come for something like superpositioncoin.

Bitcoin survive due to adoption and not all early adopters dump their holding which strict the price and limit to a good average price.

I dont know what is the best, thing to do but hold the asset. We all knew bitcoin survive with mass adoption, add that to nfts and many p2e which are added on bitcoin influence.

I joined this forum last 2017 and my experience is nothing but exceptional- I became a part of this revolutionary innovation where it gave me the opportunity to invest for my future.

The beauty behind cryptocurrency is its convenience compared to some of the traditional methods of investment. The fact that you can purchase BTC and HODL them makes you an ipso facto investor. The fact that you can also attract people into this seemingly complex, yet relatively easy platform should be the main trend that is happening.

While the reputation of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are divided, the fact remains that this would change my future in the event my investments mature.

Well my main reason for joining or wanting to know about Bitcoin and crypto-currency in general has to be curiosity. I was fascinated about how it would work, when someone told be how Bitcoin works and what it can do.

As to what I have learnt from bitcoin? Well I have learnt so much from bitcoin and crypto-currency that has also contributed to my personal growth like, I always do my research on everything that involves me giving my money in, I read more often and trying to learn and I am more scheduled. About finances well I have not become the millionaire I want to be but I am better off than I was before crypto-currency atleast.

My reason of staying to survive on bitcoin and keep on believing on it because of it has done to me in the past. Many people didn't believed on it including my friends but my family did believed what I've said but they're unable to invest because they don't have much money.
But as soon as many of them have seen that I've proved them that bitcoin is really something they should ignored, they have stopped making fun on it and despite the bear markets, there have been mockery because of it, they have stopped doing that when it has recovered and showed how huge it was.

Point to be noted dear new member, as I don't know anything how your journey is going to be but remembers my brothers words and mark them as bookmark for the posts never to lose the hope + fud is equal to the hold and now what you have to do is just read and write all the stuff you want to know and you already know as well.

Welcome to the forum. I think the post would more fit into the beginner & help section. In the beginning, it was hard to understand Bitcoin for me. When I start using Bitcoin I had no idea how it works. After joining this forum I learned a lot of things from here about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Definitely, Bitcoin helps me a lot, it makes my life easier. Sending funds and receiving funds become easier worldwide. Also found some sources from where we may earn cryptocurrency as well.

First of it all, bitcoin has thought me how to be creative, successful, and determined with having a enough endurance for things to be done at the appropriation of time, it also taught me how to provide a solution to the economy and the entire whole world by remaining outstanding among others who have attempted the trial to do such in the same way,  to be successful in life need someone to do what others are not doing and see what others aren't seeing, this comes in with a high demand of which the price as the end result is worth deserving just as Satoshi Nakamoto's bitcoin success story.

Bitcoin remains something that took the world government by surprise. They never thought it would get would get foothold in the world of finance but like we have it now, it stood and there's hardly anything that could be done to stop it.
Some of the greatest strength to bitcoin is how free it is and the privacy it gives its holders. Not mention, its the only truly decentralized cryptocurrency that is. Bitcoin has been ale to use the funds about it for its publicity and the more anti-cryptos and government tries to drag it to the mould, the more curious it makes people and when they find out what it truly is and the opportunities that exists there in, it calls for a freewill investment and an escape from centralized system.
Satoshi Nakamoto made a first good step by not being the center of it all but lving it to freewill and the activities of evey holder to decide its future. It comes without greed or selfish interest.

Well, Bitcoin just taught me how to make a borderless transaction that doesn't need any 3rd party facilities to process your payment or transfer.
Also, Bitcoin didn't just avoid me from hyper inflation, but were giving me good returns.
And lastly, making something is not always easy. Sometimes you need to work hard to get what you desired, including the desire to purchase your first Bitcoin, but maintaining it or if I get you correctly, holding it is much easier if you knew enough of Bitcoin history.

I have learn so much through wanting some little knowledge about bitcoins and until now, I'm still stuck here with my own personal choice to learn more about it and some other stuffs that are related to it. In here you will fed up with useful informations that you cannot get from other forums and the best thing is, people are telling the truth and they will quickly corrected once their sharing wrong information. The preventive measures against scammers are also helpful, you should visit beginner section some times.

Most of the things I have learnt about bitcoin is from this forum. Hence, I would always be grateful to all the founding members of this great forum. One of the greatest virtue I have gotten form this forum is patience. I use to be a very impatient person but bitcoin have taught the lessons of waiting patiently for an investment to yield profit. I have also learnt to give attention to details. Bitcoin transactions process involves letters and numbers that are very important, missing a number can lead to loss of funds or wallets. Now I am a more careful person because I give extra attention to details.

Bitcoin has also exposed me to the importance of privacy and cyber-security. I am now conscious of how I expose my identity in various social media or internet platforms. I have been taught in this forum to always get information from reliable sources. This is because every post you publish in this forum would always be scrutinized and verified. Bitcoin have also introduce me to a new family of knowledgeable professionals that are always willing to help.   

For me, Bitcoin's greatest asset is its community. It has got a very strong and committed fan base.

Yeah, I was particular about the hoDl dude – GameKyuubi. So, I checked his profile and surprisingly discovered that dude was still active here until June. I was surprised because almost all the icons from Bitcoin's early days have long stopped being active here. We need some of them to bring forth the memories of what it used to be with Bitcoin in the past.

there are many stories from the beginning I joined this forum and with bitcoin itself, I am very grateful to satoshi for creating bitcoin, there are many benefits that bitcoin has given especially to my finances, here I was taught how to manage and hold potential coins that I have when I have to enter and leave the market

Bitcoin are strong. Bitcoin makes it easy for me. Bitcoin changed the life of my economy. Bitcoin taught me a lot.
It all started here from this forum.
Had underestimated people who were active in the Bitcoin forum because for me at that time I was comfortable with the work I was doing, it turned out that being active in this forum was much more comfortable and I gained a lot of knowledge.
That's a bit of my story and thanks Satoshi.

To start with, every beginning has a story to tell irrespective of the time interval, occurrences and experience. Getting to know Bitcoin was a great experience I would never forget. I  actually had an experience before the Bitcoin reign. I was not new to digital marketing and exchange. I was fully aware of digital currency so I therefore allowed room for something's in my space but I never took part in them. I ignored them until after much I decided to give it a try. This refusal by me was as a result of the hack experience I had then. My account in which I had some funds was hacked it was so devastating the period because I invested much into that scheme and my expectations were very much high then but to my greatest surprise my account got hacked one morning I watched as my account got emptied. It was very painful and ever since then, I decided to do away with anything online or digital business unknown to me that was the period Bitcoin launched. That was how I missed it at the earliest stage but however, I was not ignorant of the fact that the world is going digital but I had to decline attempt onboarding me. Latter on, I gave in and and got acquainted to Bitcoin.

There is one thing I am thankful to bitcoin about and that is the preservation of my personal privacy.
I am the kind of person that could own the whole world and still remain very calm and unnoticed. That is my type of life and bitcoin has made this life so simple for me, in the future even if I become a millionaire in dollars, with the help of Bitcoin who will know that I have millions of Dollars? No one and I will be able to continue living my simple and calm lifestyle.

I sincerely thank Bitcoin and Bitcoin Forum from my side. It is unimaginable that Bitcoin has reached this point today from its inception. Bitcoin and this forum is the most beautiful gift to me and I never believed before if I could get to know bitcoin and this forum which has so many good benefits for me, especially in financial matters and knowledge of all these advanced technologies and also blockchain.

If you are looking for reviews about any crypto related services and shops, I am pretty much sure you will find user reviews over here. Satoshi doesn't need praise, he just wants bitcoin to continue to grow and be an important part of his journey, we are the ones who will care for and continue to spread the truth about bitcoin
